Excellent food and service. Had the catfish Benedict which was amazing. The fish was fresh, and the breading was light and crispy, and the Hollandaise sauce was delicious and buttery. The bacon biscuit is flavorful, with chunks of bacon in it. We also got a bowl of gumbo which was loaded with meat and a delicious broth. I also wanted to try the Miso Bacon Pancakes and the Fruity Pebbles Waffle. Next time I am in NOLA I will definitely be going back

The food was absolutely excellent. The chicken and waffles were very flavorful and perfectly prepared. The reason for the three star rating has to do with a few issues. Ordered a latte but after a few minutes I was informed that the machine was broken and I could not get a latte. Fine I’ll take brewed coffee and I was informed they didn’t have any made but they would brew some. I got my coffee at the same time I got my meal thirty minutes later. I also ordered the gumbo to start and was informed that the guy that makes the gumbo had been out for a while so there was no gumbo. I also inquired about the flavored teas as flavored teas is listed on the menu but the server told me they only had one type of tea and when I inquired about sweet tea the answer was we have sugar on the table. Which wasn’t my question I could clearly see the sugar to my left. Maybe I just had a bad morning here I’m not sure. I will say the food I did get to eat was excellent and is the only reason I give three stars instead of fewer.

We just ate Huevos Rancheros (with Gumbo) and it was delicious! We unfortunately missed the piano music, but the food was so good. Highly recommended 👏🏻👏🏻

Great ragtime piano playing, but super long wait for the food and the food wasn't anything to rave about.

Abby is great. The red bean burger was unique and the fries were great! I will be back!

My husband and I loved this place. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy and the jazz band was nice. Our waitress was fairly new so we waited longer than usual to be waited on but the manager apologized and offered us something while we waited with our son (toddler). The food was insanely good. I loved the Potato Rancheros. They had vegan and vegetarian options which we loved! The grits were so delicious. We will definitely visit again.

The fruity pebbles waffles and the chicken n waffles were yummy! However, we visited when NOLA was under low water pressure so the city was advised to boil their water before use. Spotted Cat was the only place that offered us bottled water instead, it seemed like a good thing until we realized they weren't boiling their water. How were they sanitizing and washing their dishes? The bathroom was a complete mess too. The food is delicious but the cleanliness of the restaurant should be held to higher standards.

Great food...fun atmosphere. I had the bean burger with the garlic fries. Both were excellent. The smokey flavor of the bean burger was really good and the yellow mustard was a surprisingly good addition. I would definitely go again.
