It’s located right beside the Japanese garden. This is the World’s Largest Outdoor Musical Instrument! They’ve got several free outdoor concerts perfect for families and little one. Plenty of sitting area and for kids to roam around if they can sit still. If you’re in the area or in the Balboa park, definitely check them out. It’s quite an experience on its own. Pick a day with good weather and bring a hat.

So cool! Stopped by for the weekly 2:00pm Sunday Concert and it was special to see. The performing artist was very talented and he played 6 entertaining songs. My favorite was the Sound of Music medley arrangement. The sun was intense, so I recommend wearing a hat or bringing an umbrella. There is lots of seating; people come and go as they please. The massive organ is truly impressive and the organist plays it very well. It’s also a nice spot to sit even when the organ is not playing. Check it out!

Great place to take pictures. My wife and I took our engagement photos here 20 years ago and it's still an iconic San Diego location to visit. My college graduation ceremony was also held here. Beautiful place to relax while visiting Balboa Park. On Sundays during summer you can go to the pavilion and the organ is open and being played starting at 2pm. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony has been a breathtaking holiday tradition for my wife's family for generations every Xmas. It's a short walk from the aerospace museum as well as the Comic Con museum.

The free summer concert series at Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park is excellent. Live music (sometimes dancing) with the beautiful buildings of Balboa Park and sunset as your background.

This Organ is “The World’s Largest Outdoor Musical Instrument!” They have many free concerts hosted through the Spreckels Organ Society. It’s fun and family friendly!✨ If you are visiting San Diego, definitely check out the concert schedule and make sure to visit Balboa Park during the time they have a concert going!🎶 P.S. they have a size-able free parking right behind the building which is really nice.

Went to one of their summer evening concerts here during the week. Can't beat the venue or the price since it's free. A beautiful area and the acoustics are good.

My boyfriend and I went to a performance by the organist Nicole Keller. She was amazing; there were two televisions on each side of the stage with close-ups of her hand and feet work. The architecture is absolutely gorgeous too…wow! We brought a picnic dinner and enjoyed the ambiance while we ate. I highly recommend this unique experience.
