Where To Eat Outside In Greenpoint

"The Springs is serving its boilermakers and boozy slushy pitchers in its massive, dog-friendly backyard every day until midnight or later. Tables at this Greenpoint bar are available on a first come, first served basis for small groups, but if you’re with six to ten people, you need to make a reservation through their website." - matt tervooren

Where To Eat Outside Past 11pm In NYC

"Whether there are a ton of separation anxiety-riddled dog parents out there, or everyone just uses the same excuse to end dates early, The Springs is here to help the former and embarrass the latter. This Greenpoint bar, which has a massive, dog-friendly outdoor space, serves boilermakers and boozy slushy pitchers until 11pm during the week and 1am on weekends." - matt tervooren

The Ride-Along Report: First Takes From Last Night’s Dinner

"What It Is: A bar in Greenpoint with frozen drinks and a huge backyard Perfect For: Day Drinking, Outdoor/Patio Situation The Springs is a bar in Greenpoint that gets its name from the fact that it’s Palm Springs-themed. If you’re wondering what that means exactly, it mostly just entails a big backyard, large white couches, and frozen beverages. It was surprisingly easy to get a table outside on a recent early evening, and we also noticed a bunch of dogs that we wanted to steal. We can’t say what this place is like late at night, but it’s ideal for a group hang when the sun’s out and you want to bring your pets. The Verdict: Stop by if you’re looking for a bar outdoors in Greenpoint that’s less hectic than Brooklyn Barge." - hannah albertine, bryan kim, katherine lewin, hillary reinsberg, chris stang, matt tervooren

Where To Drink Outside With A Big Group In NYC

"If you want to have an outdoor group hang in Greenpoint, but you don’t want to deal with massive crowds, try The Springs. We aren’t saying it won’t be crowded—but it shouldn’t be that crowded. The huge backyard with trees and couches makes up most of the bar and is Palm Springs-themed, which is just a little bit cheesy. On the bright side, they allow dogs in their backyard, and you probably have at least one friend who will appreciate how photogenic this place is." - team infatuation

15 Outdoor Bars That Won’t Be Crowded

"This Greenpoint spot doesn’t have scenic views of Manhattan like Northern Territory or Brooklyn Barge - but it also doesn’t have as many spilled beers or pairs of pastel shorts. The huge backyard with couches and table-service has plenty of room for you to move without bumping into people, so it’s a great spot to bring a larger group (and it’s also dog-friendly, in case said group includes a couple of pets)." - bryan kim, matt tervooren

I regret to inform prospective patrons that my recent visit to [Coffee Shop Name] was marred by an utterly abysmal experience with their takeaway cup and lid. For an establishment that dares to charge five dollars for a simple coffee, one would expect, at the very least, a functional vessel, yet I was instead met with a flimsy, poorly designed cup and an ill-fitted lid that ensured every sip resulted in an unceremonious dribble down the sides. The sheer incompetence in selecting such subpar packaging is both baffling and inexcusable, as a coffee shop’s most fundamental duty—beyond brewing a passable cup—is ensuring that said cup can be enjoyed without a mess. This failure speaks volumes about the lack of attention to detail and the blatant disregard for customer experience, and unless management rectifies this disgraceful oversight, I strongly advise discerning coffee drinkers to take their business elsewhere—somewhere that respects both their money and their dignity.

The worker forced my wife to buy something she didn't want, in the end he just took the card and swiped it! Outright theft!

Terrible service. Those men are fresh! They should be ashamed of how they speak to women, especially being men in this community.

Didn’t get what I ordered. Can’t trust you next time If I get random food what you have available. Not fair

I catered my daughter’s Shabbos Kallah from Spring. It was my first wedding, and I had no idea what I was doing. I just knew the quality of the food from Spring was what I wanted for our party. The owner of Spring was so helpful in creating a menu and figuring out how much food to order. He made it easy to deal with the special dietary needs of different guests. Everything arrived labeled so I would know what to serve and when. The food was super fresh and tasted great. We all loved it— kids and adults! After the party, I went to Spring to get some food for the rest of our trip. I met the cook and manager. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was clean, refreshing and uplifting. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
would give zero if possible.. have placed multiple orders. Orders are confirmed, we wait for appropriate delivery schedule time, in one case the delivery person was waiting at restaurant to pick up the order, and then Spring just cancels the orders for no reason and with NO communications !! never have received any food from this place... some kind of scam ??
