I LOVE THIS HOTEL!!! Everything was incredibly clean and thoughtful. The staff were so accommodating and answered all of my questions with a smile. I felt so taken care of, and I even became friends with some of their team by the end of the week. Shout out to Ada specifically! Loved this experience and genuinely excited to come back to this location. Anytime I’m in Dallas, they will be getting my business. Thank you SHS!!!

A great hotel with helpful staff. Recently built so everything is new and clean. Ada at the front desk is wonderful! She consistently treats her guests with respect and care. I stayed at this hotel May-June. Ada accommodated our needs and was one of the main reason I chose to stay at this hotel so long.

We had a mediocre experience here overall. The room had a really old AC unit that was very loud and could only produce refrigerated air that was very cold. Since the bed is right next to the AC unit you’re either cold (when it’s on) or hot (when it’s not) The bed was old and uncomfortable- I woke up with back pain every night. I didn’t sleep well here. We went to the pool a bunch and although the pool was nice enough they never stocked towels. Had to ask each time for towels. They turned off our room keys before check out so we were locked out of our room, which was a pain. On plus side- it was clean and the cleaning staff was very nice to my daughter. There is a good free breakfast with waffles, eggs, yogurts, cereal, etc. They had turkey sausage that was the consistency of leather one day- way over cooked. I’m not sure if we just got stuck with a crappy room, but if all the rooms have beds and AC units like this I’d say this place really needs to update the rooms.

When I visit family in the area, I always stay in Springhill suites at this location. The room is spotless. The staff is friendly. Darleah at the front desk makes my stay memorable. She is professional and attentive, checking in to see if I need anything. Her customer service keeps me a loyal customer.

I recently stayed at Springhill Suites for 3 nights. It was so impressive, the rooms are huge, as are the bathrooms. I was so shocked to find a generous walk-in closet & a full length mirror. The rooms were VERY clean & the beds were sooo comfy. I slept better than I do at home. I found the staff to be very gracious. My stay was a 10/10 & I'd happily stay again!

It hurts me to give this place a low score because the other time I was here it was excellent!|The general manager was amazingly accommodating the first time I stayed here. This time, her accommodations were 180 * different and not as accommodating.||First issue: the blackout shades/curtains are amazing to have in hotel rooms for those who like to sleep in or work overnight. But when there isn't an enclosure at the top of the curtain, it allows a lot of light to flood into the room.||Second issue and biggest issue: The food offered from the restaurant was very disappointing. I ordered an $8 turkey sandwich which was 4 slices of prepacked deli meat (not deli counter-cut meat) placed on bread that is available at breakfast (general sliced loaf bread) with 1 slice of prepackaged American cheese (not deli counter-cut cheese) with 2 slices of tomatoes and a leaf from a romaine lettuce head.|PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PICTURES||I understand the economy has been rough on not only consumers, but businesses, but to offer such poor-quality food at the prices they are offered is appalling!

Upon arrival I was greeted by Ada at the front desk and she was pleasant and showed great hospitality while informing me about the amenities the hotel had to offer. She greeted me with a smile every time I entered and exited the lobby. She was very attentive.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Cinthya Sanchez was extremely professional and welcoming . At the front desk, Ada-Obi was very friendly and professional. Mishka was also welcoming and professional. The room was large and I love the desk area to do work. Lots of yummy restaurants in driving distance.

When you're on vacation, the most important thing at the hotel is having a restful night and that's exactly how I felt here. The bed mattress was comfortable with plenty of pillows, room is clean, service was friendly, and breakfast is complimentary. The location is close to attractions my family wanted to visit. We will definitely come back here again when vacation near the area.

My stay at SpringHill Suites Dallas Richardson/University was a total cluster, especially given the total failure of their Marriott Bonvoy experience. I booked for the last weekend in July months in advance, expecting to use the app as usual for a seamless check-in, payment, and digital room key. Sadly, this hotel completely bypassed the convenience promised by Marriott. I checked in on the app the night before my reservation, but when I arrived at the property, I was informed at the front desk that the hotel doesn't use the app's check-in, payment, and critical system. Despite checking in online, I was forced to check in AGAIN and pay with a physical card rather than the card always used on file. They don't support tap-to-pay at this location, rendering my digital card--which is saved in my Marriott profile--useless. I provided my ID twice at check-in and was told that my digital card would be enabled. Two days later, there was still waiting for a digital key. When I followed up in the Marriott Bonvoy app chat, I was repeatedly told that they needed an ID to enable the digital key for "security reasons" despite having already provided it in person. This so-called "security" is undermined when housekeeping leaves your door propped open with the deadbolt while you're asleep. If security is a priority, why leave a room with unsecured sleeping guests? Other guests were just as frustrated, showing that this hotel's systems need to be updated compared to other Marriott properties. I also requested a quiet, high-level exterior room--saved in my profile and confirmed for this reservation over the phone TWICE--but ended up right next to noisy elevators. The staff, including the General Manager, were rude and indifferent, making this the worst hotel staff I've encountered. If you're looking for a hotel that utilizes the Marriott Bonvoy app, respects your time, and maintains professionalism, steer clear of SpringHill Suites Dallas Richardson/University. This place is a mess and doesn't deserve your business.

Had a decent experience at this hotel. Right off the highway giving you quick access to other area attractions. Staff was not rude and the breakfast was decent in the morning. They has a good variety of breakfast items including, waffles, eggs, sausage, cereals, oatmeal, and juices. Just keep in mind that there is no double beds on the first floor only Kings. I guess the newer SpringHill is built like this. Rooms were updated and modern and had no issues with the cleanliness of the room. We only stay here for two nights but would come back if I had to.

I had a great experience with this hotel from the jump. My check-in was quick, easy, and they accommodated my request for a top floor. All they had available was an accessible room but ensure I was comfortable by bringing up an ottoman and very quickly changing out my broken office chair (within 10 min). I was wowed by this as I spend at least 150 nights a year in hotel and rarely see that level of service. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the TVs streaming feature worked seamlessly. The breakfast is standard and I only saw 2.0 breakfast options one time but what kept this as a 5 star review was the water built into the ice machine! How convenient is that? It kept me from taking 100 trips down to the workout room to refill my water and is a very important feature for guests who enjoy cold, fresh, filtered water. The staff was very hospitable, amenities were great, and rooms comfortable. That's about all you can ask for as a business traveler.

We we're excited to stay in this booming area. We were flying from Las Vegas to DWF Airport and then to visit my son in Fort Worth. The morning of our flight we were waiting to board and Frontier announced our plane had arrived in need of maintenance. Ten minutes later it was announced the flight was cancelled. There were no other flights to DFW until late night arriving the next morning. I called the hotel right away and the receptionist said I had to talk to Expedia. I had purchased trip insurance so I figured we would be okay to cancel. Expedia said the hotel would not budge and we would be charged for our full stay if we cancelled. I decided NOT to cancel so they didn't double dip on that room. Same price to be a no-show. Insurance supposedly was only good "up to the arrival date". We are still fighting that.

Didn't even get a chance to stay at this hotel due to the front desk receptionist being EXTREMELY rude to my husband, as well as to myself. We happened to arrive a few hours earlier than expected, and she told my husband we could not check in early unless we wanted to pay for a whole other night stay (we were about 3 hours earlier than planned), and if we waited to check in 1 hour early, there would be a $30 surcharge. Since we opted not to wait after flying all night, I decided to call and have her cancel the reservation. She suddenly offered the "only room available" on the first floor (didn't mention any extra surcharges mind you) after I stated we were tired and wanted to find another hotel that could take us in right away. She then rudely stated she'd cancel it and hung up. Zero professionalism.

. I have always stayed at Marriott hotels but lately it has not been a good experience. I stayed at Marriott in West Lake June 12-13 and the air conditioning was not working well at all!! I let it go because it was a one time problem, like I said I stay at Marriott hotels a lot. Well I got to this hotel In Addison today and someone's underwear were under the table! Did not leave me with a feeling that the room had been cleaned well. Just really disappointed in Marriott lately.

Stayed here recently due to inclement weather and needing to be near my hospital to make sure we can get there. While unplanned stays can sometimes be a bummer this one was fantastic. The staff was friendly and with nowhere to go but work and the hotel the bartender Alex kept everyone well entertained, even with a much busier crowd than normal as multiple businesses were staying there for the same reason. The rooms were clean and spacious. Overall I would gladly pick to stay here again and again. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Check in and check out was incredibly easy. Highly recommend

I came to the area to surprise my husband while he was here working disaster relief for his birthday. I am a Bonvoy member and decided to try Spring Hills Suites Dallas Richardson area and it is a beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, clean resort. The rooms were huge, the lobby is super modern and amazingly inviting. The burning fire pit outside was so welcoming to sit around the fire and have a relaxing evening. The beds are top of the line. I will absolutely stay here again. The staff was super helpful at planning surprises for my hubbys birthday. TOP of the line Marriott property.

I was told this location was opened in September and it does still got that new hotel feel. Lobby is super clean and awesome decor. King suite is spacious and has all the necessities. Nice size gym, heated pool, nice gas fireplace with super high flames, I found my new Marriott location when I'm in the area.
