Google
Sprinkles cupcakes are good, although I actually prefer them with a little bit less crossing. They often have interesting flavors come through for a few weeks and they are always fresh. They have something I’ve never seen before, it looks like a mashed up cupcake in a jar, but for me, it might be too sweet because it looks like there’s more frosting per cupcake than the actual cupcakes. I wish their prices were a little bit lower, and that they had a place to sit down inside, but that’s about it.

Abbey

Google
Their cupcake selection includes a variety of flavors, with Red Velvet available in classic, vegan, and gluten-friendly versions.

Rich and delicious cupcakes. We got strawberry and the black and white. Impressed with the freshness and natural taste of the strawberry, but the topper definitely had us cracking up. They were having some technical difficulties with their self order stations so those could definitely use some upgrades or something different. But staff was friendly and ready to assist when they stations didn't work.

Google
We are a great fan of Sprinkles at Chicago. Yesterday we got a Pineapple cupcake. It was dry and icing does not have any pineapple flavor . The fruit inside was ok not sweet . Overall it felt like I wasted my money . The coffee one was very good . We got six cupcakes and a cake for our pup which my pup loved

Google
The cupcakes are great with lots of variety in flavors. The prices are high in my opinion and have definitely increased. One cupcake is over $5. They sell pupcakes that my dog loves which are 2 for $5 and super cute looking. There’s no where to sit inside so make sure you visit on a nice day so you can sit on the benches outside.

This location does not live up to the quality of other Sprinkles locations. I’ve been an avid fan of Sprinkles ever since the first one opened in Beverly Hills 20 years ago. Until I’ve had a local bakery, I used to fly to Chicago, New York and LA and bring back dozens. I’m so disappointed by this location. A couple of weeks ago, I brought two guests there, I was so excited for them to try these typically amazing cupcakes but we were sorely disappointed. First, our order was incorrect and we had to return to the bakery. Then the dot on the cupcake exploded with red dye when my guest bit into it, staining her mouth and face. To top it off, all of our cupcakes tasted very dry. Because I’m such a loyal fan of the brand I gave them another shot yesterday, but alas, again my cupcake was dry. Possibly overbaked? Or maybe they bake them at 2 AM and they sit out all day so they taste day old. Two strikes, they’re out.

Google
Delicious cupcakes! This is my favorite cupcake place ever. The staff were friendly and quick. You gotta try!

Google
Sprinkles is my absolute favorite and the absolute best cupcake ever. The cake is the perfect consistency, the frosting is the perfect amount of sweetness and amount. Every flavor is divine. The strawberry amd coffee are routine favs but the Holiday Gingerbread is EVERYTHING!!

Yelp
Salty caramel is good! I would definitely get again. The icing was my favorite - really good. The salty sprinkles by the star were a delicious touch! I wish there was a little more salt all over the cupcake as the center was the only salty part. The cake itself was good but could have been a bit more moist. The customer service here is 10/10. I was welcomed so much enthusiasm! It also smells AMAZING inside. Overall, great Sprinkles location. I look forward to going back!

Yelp
I wish I had photos! We stopped by right before closing and chose 4 different cupcakes. Each one was different, the cake moist, and the icing perfectly matched. I highly recommend trying them out for a quick treat! They even have minis!

Yelp
A friend recommended this place and it was my son's birthdays so decided to try it. This place has gluten free cupcake but only one flavor. No vegan options. The cupcakes were flavorful and not too dry but when you bite into It falls apart. I've eaten cupcakes that stay intact If you are the kind of person that is indifferent about quality of the food and texture go and try them out. Frankly I found these cupcakes to be over priced. I believe it is because of location. They do look pretty and regular size. Frosting is thick layer very sweet. You I order on a kiosk. They do have people there but they don't offer help. The place looks clean and there are no seats to wait for your cupcakes.

Yelp
Not my favorite cupcake but I adore their ATM! I placed my order in the app for pickup later in the day and the cupcake was boxed and ready when I arrived. The shop is super cute and very conveniently located (if you can find nearby parking) within the Domain. They have a quick pickup ATM for cupcakes if you don't want to go inside/interact with a person/or want a cupcake outside shop hours. The cupcake itself could have been more exciting, especially at the $5+ price point. I've tried their cupcakes twice, and neither tasted as fresh as they claim, or perhaps I expect a more moist cupcake than is their standard. The frosting on the gluten-friendly cupcake was crusty at the edges.

Yelp
Didn't expect too much. Overall too expensive and nothing special. The circles on top of both are just sugar. The blueberry lemon one tasted like an overpriced blueberry muffin. Good but not worth the price. The salted caramel base was surprisingly not overly sweet and balanced well with the icing. Service is fast as you choose and then they pack it for you as it's all already pre-baked.
google avatar

Yelp
A really unique idea with their ATM! It was a short and fun experience with fast service. It is fairly overpriced, and the red velvet cupcake was average. Don't think I would come back but it was a unique experience

Yelp
Love love love sprinkles cupcakes. Great service but it's just grab and go!. Ambiance is just sprinkles. It's just me but I love sprinkles. From California, Arizona, and now Austin; 100% recommended.

Yelp
Well known bakery by a well known baker. Not sure why it didn't hit. The cupcakes seemed a little dry and lacking flavor. I loved the Cupcake ATM, but wanted to love the cupcake more than I did. Keep In mind if you get the sprinkles box it's a 50 cent Uncharge.

Yelp
V marks the spot!⁣ ⁣ Finally, after years of merely blogging about it, I can at last take advantage of the free birthday cupcake from Sprinkles. This is big, folx. This is a mainstream establishments with eateries all over the US, offering a completely plant-based cupcake everyday. ⁣ ⁣ Red Velvet is your only option, but it's an excellent one at that. It checks all the boxes:⁣ ⁣ Not too sweet.⁣ Tender, moist crumb.⁣ Fluffy buttercream.⁣ ⁣ Does it count as eating dessert first if that's the entree, too? Asking for a friend.

Yelp
I was familiar with Sprinkles from the store we used to have in Atlanta. They literally had what I thought was the best tasting milk chocolate icing. I would get the yellow cake with chocolate icing, no sprinkles. Unfortunately that store closed down. But I've been able to find them in other states when traveling for work. Such is the case in Austin. Unlike the location in Dallas, they actually had a store, which is my preference. However, something has changed in the recipe. The cake nor the icing are as good as they used to be. In my humble opinion the store locations are better than the atms, but I wish it was as good as it used to be!
google avatar

Gretchen M.

Yelp
Tasted good but too sweet for me. The frosting is so thick. Is it worth the price ($5) for one cupcake? No.
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
I ordered 2 vegan red velvet cupcakes for delivery through Grubhub. It was my first time buying from Sprinkles. The cupcakes had simple white frosting with a red sugar V for vegan, and the amount of frosting was generous but not overwhelming. They were very moist and had the subtle but tasty flavor that is typical of red velvet. The frosting tasted like regular vanilla, which was good, although I would have liked cream cheese (as is commonly used with red velvet). I took off 1 star for value - $6.35 each for only standard-size cupcakes. Based on the price, I had been expecting to receive oversized ones. Perhaps the price is lower in-store. In comparison, the in-store price for the vegan cupcake at Cupprimo is $4.50 and it's just as good (Cupprimo isn't on GrubHub or I would have referenced that price).

Yelp
Tried this long awaited cupcake in the Austin airport, absolutely terrible and not worth the $8 spent. Said baked fresh daily, but I highly doubt that is actually true. Save your money!!!!

Yelp
I've seen Sprinkles vending machines but never had the chance to try them until today. And it did not disappoint! I got a Red Velvet cupcake and a Vanilla cupcake. Both were delicious! Soft, moist, and the icing wasn't too sweet, perfectly smooth. If you're looking for a quick, sweet snack, stop by Sprinkles Austin!

Yelp
Costumer service horrible, i made an order of 12 cupcakes online and once i did the checkout i found out about the promotion they had of buying 5 and getting one free and tried to cancel the order and didn't let me, so once i got to the store and try to explained the ladies what happened and they didn't care and didn't do nothing to fix it and were rude and racist at the time, my English is not perfect but I know what I said. This is the last time ill be back to this specific store.

Yelp
This made my night after having dessert that just didn't quite hit the spot. Was excited to try the cupcake ATM as this was my first time. We ordered and waited a couple of minutes and voila, cupcakes! Interestingly, we only ordered 3 but got 4. We were unsure if we were lucky or if some other poor soul didn't get it out in time. As I was pulling out the last 2, the door came down with a vengeance! We almost lost those two, or a limb trying to get them! It'd be great of there was timer or something that prepared you for the door closing. Also, I didn't get a receipt, nor did I see the option to print one. The store was closed. We enjoyed the cupcakes !

Yelp
I stopped by to grab pup cakes for my dog and try the limited flavor, Piña Colada. Both items did not disappoint. My dog loved the mini cupcakes! As for my cupcake, the flavor was pretty spot on although the frosting was a tad too sweet for my liking. Overall decent spot - worth the visit.

Yelp
What to say about this place. Well, I noticed that it was very busy so I thought I would try it. I don't remember what kind I ordered. They weren't like breath taking. The people were nice and friendly. Shop was packed but flowed well. Wasn't very congested. Clean and neat. But the only thing I remember about the cupcakes is that they were moist and good flavor (we had a few drinks before) Now i did think it was cool that they have like an ATM machine outside for the cupcakes. I didn't try it but I think that's pretty cool. You can place your order there and then get your cupcakes right out of the machine. I would say it's a nice place to try and see what they are like. If for nothing else to check out the ATM machine.

Yelp
Recently have tried them again and I'm glad I did! The seasonal limited time flavors are especially delicious and unique! Ordering online for pick-up is a breeze, and staff has always been friendly and welcoming! They can be a little pricey, especially the limited-time flavors, but I definitely think it's worth it. Parking can be tricky especially during peak shopping hours (in the domain).

Yelp
This is the perfect place to drop if you've got a cupcake craving. I first fell in love with them at their Palo Alto location and was delighted to find them here in Austin! We went on Easter so we got to try their specials, out of the two I was tempted by the Chocolate Bunny and my god I am so happy I did! It was absolutely perfect in everywhere, it included different types of chocolate that were melted ooey gooey perfection. The red velvet was delicious as well and I'd definitely come back, I hope they open a branch in South Austin soon!

Yelp
Stopped by as it had been awhile since I had Sprinkles. Went in expecting to get what I usually get (red velvet) but they had some new flavors: lemon blueberry, cookie, matcha and snickerdoodle so I decided to try something new. I went with the snickerdoodle and it was pretty good. The cookie they put on top and the cupcake itself were great. The cookie on the bottom (would've assumed they were the same ones but didn't taste like it) however, they could've gone without. The icing wasn't too sweet but there could've been less of it. Overall, not bad and would return but would probably go back to my classic red velvet.

Daniel A.

Yelp
The pictures on DoorDash look really good. Made them look bigger than I thought they would be. They are about average size. And for the price, not worth it. Don't know what all the hype was. As for the taste, dry and underwhelming. The frosting was just ok. Certainly not buying again. Oh yeah, I didn't get my 2 pup cakes. So don't know if they would have liked them.

Yelp
This review is for the after hours cupcake ATM! I love when I get a sweet tooth at midnight I can swing by for a fun and easy experience. I've tried a few different cupcakes now and every single one is delish! It's super quick too! It's the best way to satisfy that sweet tooth.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Delicious! Only 4 stars because they were out of what we wanted and forgot that she told us we could get the one she had left if we chose a different one then forgot so we got one we didn't want. Still amazing delicious.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
They always come through with vegan cupcakes for my kiddo who has an egg allergy. You help me be a lazier mom. Thank you Sprinkles. Their cupcakes are always moist and the ratio of cake to frosting is solid. You do spend about $5 on a cupcake for vegan or specialty cupcakes, but you don't drive your happy butt to the Domain for a discount.
google avatar

Jesse B.

Yelp
The Vegan Red Velvet cupcakes are delicious and unbeatable! The cake is the right mixture of damp (or moist) and dense, while the frosting is thick and not-too-sweet. The ordering system is easy, hands off, and the service was so quick - we didn't have time to read the receipt before they were ready! Definitely an easy, quick option for vegan, gluten-free, or regular cupcakes. I really wish they had a location in the Temple/Belton area! This place is definitely a big hit

Yelp
Every time we pass Sprinkles I so badly want a cupcake but the past couple of times my family and I have had cupcakes from here they've been dry. Today I stopped in because I saw that an open box of them and it caught my eye because they looked so good. So I decided to give them another shot, especially because they had a new flavor, s'mores. We had a vanilla, dark chocolate, lemon, red velvet, & s'mores. All of them were super dry, except for the s'mores because it had ganache inside. The red velvet had the best flavor. The others were good but if they were moister they would've tasted better. I wanted to love Sprinkles again but I don't know if I can keep coming back and getting the same results. The I only reason they're not getting two stars is because the staff was very friendly, patient, and nicely answered questions I had. The guy also went to the back to get me fresh cupcakes instead of taking them out of the case. It's unfortunate that they were still dry if they were from the back.
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
After dinner we wanted a sweet treat so we headed over to sprinkles! I of course got the sprinkles cupcake because 1) I love confetti/sprinkles and 2) honestly the way it looks is so satisfying to me! The presentation is great obviously and one bite of this cupcake and your cravings are satisfied. The service there is fast - they have iPad/tablets that you order on and then you can watch as the staff packages up your treats. I hadn't been there in forever and they now actually sell cookies and other treats that looked pretty good.
google avatar

Tracey Z.

Yelp
Such an innovative idea! This makes contactless food delivery so seamless and simple. It's basically like a cupcake vending machine, with so many options to choose from. Also since it's 24 hours, you can pick up a cupcake anytime. The cupcakes are very moist and the frosting is just the right amount of sweet so it's not over powering. Overall, a great treat. I also appreciate that they do have vegan and gluten free option. I wish that there were more choices though since it is pretty much just red velvet. It is pretty expensive however, almost $5 for one cupcake. Additionally, since it is an atm delivery style how fresh are the cupcakes really.
google avatar

Shayer S.

Yelp
Okay, so I'm not a cupcake connoisseur so don't take my words too seriously. I don't really get cupcakes to be honest. With that said, I can tell you the cupcakes here taste good to me. Even when consuming 2 days after purchase. So far I've had the red velvet, strawberry, vanilla, black and white, and vanilla milk chocolate and all of them were good! Service is helpful and friendly.
google avatar

Autumn M.

Yelp
These cupcakes never disappoint! I've had several different flavors and loved them all. My favorites are the vegan red velvet and the pumpkin spice latte. I am always excited when September comes around and I can order the pumpkin cupcake with marshmallow cream inside and Cuban coffee frosting. Yuuuuum! Not too pumpkiny. The frosting has a nice coffee flavor to balance out the sweetness. Ordering online is super easy and pickup is a breeze. If you haven't tried this place then you are missing out!
google avatar

Chanel M.

Yelp
Cupcakes can be a little pricey but definitely delicious and worth it. They offer special cupcakes on a limited time basis... they had a Banana Split cupcake when I visited. I got a 4 pack of cupcakes for $18. I have to say that my favorite of those was the Banana cupcake... sooo good!
google avatar

Candace B.

Yelp
These cupcakes were amazing and the best birthday gift ever! The black and white cupcake featured moist chocolate cake and vanilla icing that had the perfect amount of sweetness. Are these the best cupcakes I've ever had? After eating a second one, the peach pie cupcake which was moist and full of peach deliciousness, I have to say yes!
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
I used to love Sprinkles, but like so many places, they have gone downhill. The cupcakes are dry and crumbly. I didn't mind spending $5.00 on a cupcake in the past, but if the quality is not there, there's no point. Their new ordering process is impersonal, and I get annoyed that the system asks for a tip.
google avatar

Timi S.

Yelp
I purchased there 12 Box ended up being 102.00. I think I got 1 of everything except the gluten Free. The flavors were not what I expected. Not even sure I could tell the flavors apart. They were very dry and crumbly. Strawberry did not taste like strawberry tasted more like maybe a blue berry . I am extremely disappointed for the amount I paid for these. An the thick layer of Icing was way to much.
google avatar

Tracy S.

Yelp
They have changed the ratio of cake to frosting, which is a bummer. There is less frosting unfortunately. Also, the cookies are not always consistent. Sometimes they are baked just right and other times they are over baked.
google avatar

Alison M.

Yelp
My friend insisted I try these - and we had a chocolate cupcake which was very good. Simple but moist and delicious - topped with an abundance of little chocolate sprinkle discs. Very yummy. The inside is plain and simple with a large glass wall looking outside - it's directly across from the CB2 furniture store so you can see passersby and people watch from inside or from the outside bistro tables for seating. They have a bunch of cupcake flavors and options and a few small sized cupcakes if you want to try a few and don't want to commit to a bunch of big ones... they also have some ice cream and cookie sandwiches we saw after ordering the cupcake. The cupcake ATM is a cute touch - kitschy bc the staff still have to walk up to it to put your order in - but a cute little idea.
google avatar

Waliya L.

Yelp
Of all the chains that emerged from last decade's cupcake craze, Sprinkles is by far my favorite. The season flavors are always innovative and all of the flavors I've tried are really delicious. The cupcakes are moist and flavorful with just the right amount of icing. Their red velvet is the best! I got three cupcakes, but wished I would have gotten more. I ordered using the kiosk outside, which I'm assuming is a Covid measure. I got my cupcakes within a few minutes of placing my order. It was easy and fast!
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
The store's interior is cute, and so is the Cupcake ATM. But you're mostly paying for the novelty because the ATM is a glorified walk-up-to instead of a drive-thru. You even get to see a person inside of the store walking up to its side at the interior. The cupcakes aren't that good either. The frosting and the cupcake itself are either too sweet or too tasteless. And they're tiny considering that you have to pay five dollars for just one.

Mike D.

Yelp
Our order was not accurately filled. We ordered a dozen at a price of $66 and included gluten free. The employee stated my order did not come through after I paid for it. She filled the order incorrectly and we got cupcakes we did not order. It was for a birthday party... it was a mess. They do not care. More importantly, the cupcakes are incredibly dry. Suppose that is why they warn you against putting in frig.... they are already very dense and dry! Would not recommend this place.
google avatar

Sandra B.

Yelp
Sprinkles has the best pup cake options for our doggies! We love the fact that there is a vending machine and it makes getting cupcakes so easy! We have gotten a few flavors for ourselves but per usual we inhale our desserts and forget to take a photo! Yumm!
google avatar

Paul D.

Yelp
With everyone taking photos of the cupcake ATM and a line to enter I patiently waited to go inside. I have never used the ATM but at some time will. It was late in the day and many flavors of cupcakes were purchased. But ready to select Red Velvet where there were plenty. They sell normal sized cupcakes along with miniatures and regular layered cake designs. The staff working there are very nice and friendly. I was second in line and the person in front of me decided to order a bunch. I then saw through the cupcake window one by one the Red Velvet was being selected, with my fingers crossed and praying three were left, two and the that was it one. Who know going to a cupcake shop can be so stressful. I ordered the last remaining cupcake and walked through the tight crowd on the the sidewalk. I sat down and enjoyed it. It was very delicious and the cupcake gods were good to me. From previous experience it best to get here before lunchtime to beat the crowds and enjoy breakfast at Sprinkles.
google avatar

Kourtnee K.

Yelp
I couldn't help but notice how many reviews claim these cupcakes are dry, so I wanted to give my input since I've eaten here multiple times. Of the probably 50 or more cakes I've had from here over time, maybe 2 or 3 of them were dry. Like, it happens with baking sometimes! I honestly feel like it's infrequent enough that they don't even deserve to lose a star over it. The icing is delicious, and I just crave it sometimes! My favorite is the red velvet, and I love trying their limited time flavors as well. And as for a couple of reviews complaining that they were out of an item, get over it! That's what happens when cupcakes are baked fresh daily and sell out because of how delicious they are..
google avatar

Yelp
We purchased strawberry, carrot cake, black & white, and vanilla cupcakes. While the presentation and packaging were excellent, all four cupcakes were dry and crumbly. The cake base was almost identical in the strawberry and carrot cake, minus a few carrot shreds. Zero flavor in all four. There was so very little strawberry flavor to the strawberry i could not tell what it was supposed to be. The highlight was the extremely over sweetened grainy frosting. Customer experience / service was also non-existent as the lady behind the counter could care less to have been there. She could not even tell my wife what type of sweetener was in the gluten-free items. So disappointed. In a town with so many wonderful local bakeries, I will not be back to this chain any time soon.
google avatar

Noah C.

Yelp
I had bought a cookie from this place and my friend bought a cupcake, the gluten free red velvet. First, we were disappointed that there were so few options for the ATM. Second, for the extremely expensive price, it does not match the quality. My cookie was extremely dry and crumbly and I feel like it has been in the atm for too long. My friends cupcake was also very dry, perhaps for the same reasons. And since we used the atm, there was no way to get a refund. But the quality of this certainly does not match the price. However, an additional star for the concept, it's a cute idea, but could definitely be improvised by either lower price or better dessert or both.
google avatar

Sabrina S.

Yelp
My first time at Sprinkles was in LA (the flagship) so I had to stop in as soon as I saw it. Sprinkles has a special place in my heart, so they got an automatic 4, but it would have been a 5 if this location had in-door seating, and a toppings bar. We were there in a cold October day, and didn't want to freeze eating ice cream outside. They were nice enough to allow us to bring the chairs in from outside to enjoy or cupcake Sunday treats. Red velvet cupcake on red velvet ice cream is my favorite. Gluten free options available.
google avatar

Crystal L.

Yelp
The hype of sprinkles in Austin is real! I love cupcakes and always save room in my tummy for a sugary bite from them whenever I'm in the area of northside domain. Their seasonal cupcakes always take me by storm, from the St. paddy seasonal to smores gooey Sunday goodness paired with amazing ice cream yumminess. Be prepared for extra rich sugar should you pick the salted caramel one! There's also gluten free options and sugar free red velvet which my husband swears by if you're a bit more sugar conscious than my gluttonous self. Ps. Use the cupcake ATM to beat the lines!

Olivia M.

Yelp
I wanted to like them, but I couldn't. I ordered three different cupcake flavors from the Sprinkles ATM (which was really cool, by the way): red velvet, dark chocolate marshmallow and black and white. They were bought to celebrate my daughter's birthday today, 7/25. This visit was also to serve as a trial run to determine whether or not we'd go with Sprinkles cupcakes for her birthday party on Saturday (7/29). I was super excited about sampling the dark chocolate marshmallow, because it reminded me of my favorite Little Debbie cream-filled, chocolate cupcakes with the white frosted spiral on top... Boy was I disappointed. The cupcake was dry and the entire cake lacked flavor and sweetness. I took two bites (just to be sure) and put it back in the box. I found this to be the same experience for the rest of the cakes I tasted as well--dry and flavorless. The cupcake ATM was user friendly and convenient, and there are a couple of 15min parking spaces right in front of the store and ATM for a quick in and out visit-- smart, thank you! The cupcakes however, were just not up to par for me at all; and as a Candace Nelson fan, I was seriously disappointed. So, would I return??? Maybe to try ONE more... but only to be sure that I just didn't get bad batches on a bad day.
google avatar

Emma P.

Yelp
Sigh. Nothing like a dry cupcake! Said... no one... ever. This was my first Sprinkles experience so I wasn't sure what to expect but I'm not sure if I'll be back. Additionally, I think the orders from the ATM should include a napkin. Maybe that's just me?
