The Venetian and Palazzo reveal their renovated pools overlooking the Las Vegas Strip - Eater Vegas

"Last year, the resort opened Spritz Restaurant & Bar, a sister restaurant to Capri from 50 Eggs, on the Venetian side for breakfast and lunch with slushies and a spritz cocktail menu." - Susan Stapleton

Spritz Restaurant & Bar opens at the pools at the Venetian - Eater Vegas

"The latest restaurant from John Kunkel and 50 Eggs Hospitality Group is ready to launch on the Venetian's pool deck June 4 when the resort reopens. Spritz Restaurant & Bar will join Wolfgang Puck’s seasonal restaurant Solaro and introduces a Malibu, California-themed style to the Mediterranean-influenced pool scene. Scheduled to be open daily from 8 a.m to 6 p.m, the sophisticated setting was designed by locals Novus Architecture, creating a potential for 88 seats under a shaded canopy chilled by ceiling fans and 15 seats at the standalone bar. Customers can opt for table seating or on raised daybeds with views of the pool. Inspired by its own name, the drinks menu features three, $18, spritz Champagne cocktails, the sherry and green tea Sencha #2, cynar and passionfruit flavored Como Spriz, and the Wimbledon, prepared with Pimm’s, citrus, cucumber, strawberries, and mint. Serving breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m, and lunch until closing at 6 p.m, diners can order a fresh spin on morning classics, including pancakes, bacon and eggs, coconut, or acai bowls, avocado toast and sides of pastries, juices, and flatbreads. The lunch choices include snacks of chicken wings, edamame hummus, crispy shrimp, and a turmeric tonic among the juices. Salads and flatbreads join entrees of a Skuna Bay salmon poke bowl, a truffle burger with Parmesan fries, a grilled beef tenderloin and ciabatta sandwich, plus a Nashville hot chicken sandwich with spicy slaw. For dessert, customers can chill down with fruit pops, a brandy-yogurt semifreddo and a churro sundae, topped with strawberries. The menu also offers a separate collection for kids, serving flapjacks, cereal, or cheesy scrambled eggs for breakfast, plus lunch meals of burgers, buttered pasta, pizza, and grilled cheese sandwiches." - Bradley Martin

When you find yourself at the Venetian Pool Deck and want to enjoy a few drinks and tasty food the Spritz Restaurant & Bar is the place to do so as they are the only spot onsite that provides service for the cabanas. Prices are what to expect being at the center strip. Dedicated waiter service is excellent and efficient. The food is tasty and large enough to share. Drinks are strong and refreshing but don't look like the pictures from the menu lol. All in all, a relaxed vibe where you receive amazing service. Be back soon.

Google
Beautiful little spot to start your day! We ate here twice during our wknd stay for breakfast- service was super friendly, cute atmosphere, and steps away from the pool. Highly recommend!

Google
Look at the picture of what I ordered and what it actually looks like. Best advice is to bring your own drinks and enjoy it at the pool. They charged $22!for this mediocre drink ! My husband ordered a rum and coke double and it was $32! I asked the bartender where was the strawberry and the flower and he said they don’t actually have berries and the best he could pull because I asked was a cherry!!!

Google
Had a great experience here. Enjoyed a wonderful lunch, drinks, appetizers, and dessert. Our waitress checked on us often. Food was tasty. Fries were so good I would go back to order them again. The ranch was delicious too. Oreo cookie sandwich was actually an ice cream cake cut in half! It was huge. Loved the experience and recommend it. I noticed not so favorable reviews. Hopefully new visitors will have the experience I had.

We got an early start on our Friday and beat the crowd. Beautiful atmosphere. Fun music. Great service and food. We frequent the Venetian but this was our first stop at Spritz. loved it. The breakfast burrito was awesome as were the spiked Dole whips.

Google
Food was ok, I tried mix tacos, my fav was with chicken. Avocado toast I ate only half, very plane taste

Google
Classy relaxing lovely setting by the pool at Venetian. Food was fresh and good, some ingrediants could have taste more organic, but overall good, and healthy. A small incident, went to the bathroom and my not finished plates got removed, very quickly resolved by my waitress Vicky: special mention for her, very pro, quick and effective : she gives a great service. Will come again.

Google
Monday am visit. Monique provided top-notch service. I read the reviews and they were very mixed. We are very glad that we came as the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very tropical and pleasant. It’s in the shade this time of morning the music was perfect. Gotta try the grapefruit Mojito!

Yelp
The Spritz Restaurant & Bar is on the Venetian pool deck steps away from the two largest pools and even walking distance from the Palazzo pool deck. This place was incredible! The food was all fresh, organic, and the healthy options were endless. Plus the portions were decent and the taste was superb! We at breakfast + lunch or brunch here every day. A few o my favs; -Avocado Toast (add eggs over easy on top) -Baja Breakfast Burrito (skip the cheese add extra salsa) -Under "Snacks" the Guacamole + Chips + Salsa was an entire meal it was so large - the guac was fresh and so tasty! -Blackened Fish Tacos - amazing!!!! -Morning Express, don't order "sourdough" it's just white bread, otherwise it was tasty The service we received from the hostesses and each of our waiters was great. We weren't in a hurry so having a more laid back server was great for us. ***HEADS UP! They add a built in gratuity to the bills. I get it and it was fine as they would highlight or circle it on our bill, however the first waiter we had didn't say anything and we didn't notice it until after we'd tipped, paid and left. All the other staff was forthcoming with it, but keep your eyes open!

Yelp
The food was okayish . The eggs Benedict came without the ham. The American breakfast was OK. The eggs were too runny and the potatoes didn't have any flavor. Service was slow but friendly. Only come if you have lots of time to wait for your food your table and your check. And all we were here for about two hours and little of that time was spent eating. We were sat in the sun. There's very little shade here, but it was nice to have a view of the pool and the splash pad.

Yelp
Food was great. We had the cauliflower pepperoni pizza and a few drinks. We had a whiskey sour (egg whites not provided here but still tasty) and I tried the Happy Dad seltzers. The flavors really come through with the seltzers...my new fav drink! Jose was an AMAZING and attentive server and Justin the GM came by and was so sweet and accommodating with great suggestions on other places to eat like Wakuda and Chica's or Yard Bird which all sound AMAZING but Wakuda won for tonight! We had Yard Bird earlier lol. YUMMY!!!

Jewlynn C.

Yelp
I ordered the bubble waffle and it was absolutely amazing! I substituted the caramelized banana for berries. The portion was just the right amount. The pistachio rose latte was super tasty. The two flavors complimented each other really well. The service was quick and fast. I loved that we got to listen to the music and see the pool deck. I will be coming back this summer!

Yelp
Lazy, rude, horrible. If you say your hours are until 6, guess what time you should close? 6!!!! Lazy asses. Now we don't get to use our voucher and my daughter doesn't get her pizza that she waited all day for to specifically get it from you. You are trash. It was so obvious that you were just closing early because it was hot and wanted to leave. Trash. Pure trash.

Yelp
4th Floor of the Venetian in the Pool Area, you must show your room key to enter the space. Open Air Dining, there is Bar seating and Tables; the hostess will seat you. I opted for Bar seating and with the high chairs it's a great view of the Pool Area. Here for breakfast, I arrived right at the 8a opening time and food cane out in less than 10 min. Sangria, Bottle of Water and Breakfast Sandwich w/Hashbrowns. Food tasted great! Scrambled egg was fluffy, bacon crispy with 2 slices of cheese and wonderful Brioche. Luved the Hashbrowns, they're in some sort of square shape and pretty decent size. Sangria was well balanced and worked well as a breakfast cocktail. Servers were attentive and friendly. $53.08 for the meal, cocktail, Bottle of Water, tax and Automatic Gratuity at 18%. I share this to set proper expectations. Decor definitely gives a resort vibe. The breeze was out this morning and made for a very relaxing start to the day. If looking for Breakfast without leaving the property, I certainly recommend.

Yelp
This little eatery is located on the fourth floor of the Venetian towers. It's set on the pool deck, so it's a nice place to get some eats and some drinks if you're lounging at the pool for the day, or if you just want to have a bite and enjoy the sunshine and the view. (you won't get the direct rays of the sun until around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, so anything earlier you may need a light hoodie or sweater.) We were seated quickly; however, no one came by our table for about six or seven minutes. We ordered coffee and orange juice, and had to remind the server to bring our drinks. We decided to split a breakfast which was the Hickory smoked bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich served with potatoes. The sandwich had a nice thick layer of scrambled eggs with thick applewood smoked bacon on a brioche bun. The sandwich was good; however, the potatoes it was served with lacked flavor. The coffee we ordered tasted terrible, and the cream that we put in the coffee curdled at the top which made it rather disgusting. The service throughout our experience was less than average. I give it 3-*** based off ambiance for extra points; otherwise it would be 2**.

Yelp
4 stars for the food, 3 stars for the service, 1 star for robbing you blind in Vegas. $298 for 3 people, 1 cocktail each and 1 mimosa each. What kills me is that they give you the $21 cocktail in an 8 ounce glass. The burger is excellent. Potato wedges are perfectly cooked and have a nice crunch on the outside. Waffles were awesome. Fish tacos were meh.

Yelp
I am loving the newly redesigned Venetian pool deck! Spritz is definitely a step up from Riva. The restaurant itself is quite pretty! Very contemporary Mediterranean chic. White beams, cool-toned wood and eye-catching blue tiles. Perfect Instagram fodder! The menu is full of light bites with bright flavors, simple ingredients, and petite portions so you'll still fit in that bikini after lunch ;) Definitely a cute lil place to recharge in between sunning sessions!

Yelp
When my close friends let me know that they had a staycation planned at The Venetian, and were planning a pool day, we were so excited to meet them there! This restaurant is located inside The Venetian Pool area. They have a beautiful covered patio where you can sit and enjoy your meal poolside, or you can take it to go (like we did) and eat it at your spot at the pool. I believe they are recent to open, but glad there's a spot where guests have the option to choose whether or not to dine there or take it to go. I ordered the avocado toast and the All American breakfast for my husband. The process was quite easy. Jazmin (spelling?) was the one to help us out and take our order. She was super kind and helpful. We placed our order then walked over to the bar area to order drinks. By the time we got back over to the food area, our food was ready to go and packaged nicely. The avocado toast was delicious! They actually gave two pieces of toast, so obviously I didn't even finish it haha. It was a lot! The prices here are pretty standard when it comes to hotel in Vegas prices. Definitely higher, but I feel like the quality and portions of food was substantial. Definitely recommend this place if you're sitting poolside or just want to enjoy a nice meal by the pool!

Yelp
We ate at Spritz twice while staying at The Venetian. We sat near a splash pad with a coastal mural that was beautiful and ambient. The DJ played great music that offered a chill soundtrack during the meal. But the best part of Spritz was far and away our server, Sean (we hope we're spelling it right!). Sean was so fun and affable. He made us feel taken care of from beginning to end and always made sure our waters were full ("gotta stay hydrated in the desert" he said!). We enjoyed him so much that we returned the next day and requested to be seated in his section. He also made sure to point out that 18% gratuity was included on our check and even circled it for us. He really put us and our enjoyment first. As for the food/drinks - their fries and sauces were some of the best we've had. We also split a margarita pizza that we absolutely delightful. The elderflower cocktail was so bright and refreshing and the drinks were served with the fun sort of glasses and accoutrements that you would expect from an indulgent vacation spot. Can't wait to come back here!

Yelp
Not writing home about it but serves its purpose. Located poolside at the Venetian, we were looking for a convenient breakfast spot in the hotel offering some healthier options (again, hard to come by in Venetian/Palazzo or Vegas in general). Seems to be a bit of a hidden gem in the morning - breezy, casual, very pleasant and feels like you're on a patio in the Med (except not, lol). We had avocado toasts with poached eggs and smoked salmon - the food was decent, the price point was...Vegas. The salmon swim far and upstream to reach the desert so the bill was about $90 for two meals and one coffee. The server was as tired as the salmon.

Lorin B.

Yelp
This place is beautiful and welcoming. The food is great and doesn't take too long to come. The pina coladas are delicious. But I have to admit, the best iced water in the WORLD is poured with love from the bottom of Paul's heart. Thank you Paul! My sister and I had a great weekend because of your energy!

Yelp
Went to Venetian hotel for a three day staycation. Great. Went out to pool. Time for a snack. Shared a pizza, great and ice tea . $15.00 for a ice tea or Arnold Palmer. My friend says I want a refill and waiter says there are none. WOULD HAVE TO PAY $15 for a refill of ice tea. What does that mean. We are still talking about it. Spent a lot of money, show, food, room, etc. But you want to relax by a pool what?????????. And mrs Adelson pays no taxes
google avatar

Dave N.

Yelp
The food was okay. We had chicken tenders with fries, truffle pizza and a sandwich. The service could have been better. They weren't busy and the drinks were average. I think with the automatic 18% gratuity, their staff just don't care or want to make it a great experience. The scenery was great. Plan out your day to enjoy the pools, get some drinks but have your meal elsewhere, before or after. There are so many other better options.
google avatar

Pablo B.

Yelp
Perfect spot for breakfast. Actually, the perfect spot for anything! The food is amazing, the drinks are delicious and the ambiance is adorable. But that's not all. The gem of this place is the staff. Eddie, the manager, is a sweetheart! Today we were served by Michae. She'll get you with her smile! Very attentive, fast and charismatic, she'll take your experience to the next level!!! Jacob, from yesterday, was at the same level. Just be careful, you might not want to leave!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Very very dope spot with chill vibes. The wife and I stayed at the Venetian and seen this restaurant near the pool. I don't know if it was just the morning after hang over that made this food taste sooooo good bro. I stole a few bites of wifey sandwich. she got mad mad but she got over it lol. Customer service was good no complaints. And pricing was actually good!! We all k ow how Vegas prices can be. I recommend this spot to anyone that's staying in the hotel or looking for a bite to eat.
google avatar

Heather G.

Yelp
1) 18% tip is included but they don't tell you and didn't show on my receipt (I had to ask) 2) the waitresses have different outfits depending on whether they serve food or drink. This is confusing. 3) gave up on the food waitresses (in green) and went straight to the restaurant to order myself. Was told 10 mins. Went back in 15 and still not ready. This is after adding additional tip to the 18%. First world problems for sure but when you're paying premium rates, the service should at least be good. I get better service at McDonalds...
google avatar

Eileen C.

Yelp
We have been here every morning since checked into the hotel. Very simple menu, you can sip your coffee and watch the pool side. I like to start my morning here.

John A.

Yelp
The bartender John is so hot!! He makes the best drinks yum. He's the best!!!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Ngoc L.

Yelp
It s located in the Venetian swimming pool side. This one is just opened lately this month but I didn't regret to try out this place on Sunday brunch. The view with water, the bikini, the summer, the bright sun, the foods, the service are all contained in this pretty spot. I am a summer lover
google avatar

Yelp
Salmon Salad and House-made Guac is the way to go, severs was really good. Malik kept the drinks going and had a great attitude! I'll be coming back!

Careese C.

Yelp
First off, this is a establishment within the Venetian resort by the pool. Knowing that, the food and drinks are going to be pricey. However, I ended up here after visiting the "drinks only" bar with RIDICULOUSLY priced drinks, because I was looking for food. The food is exactly what you would expect. Quick, convenient, and not a lot of options. The drinks are cheaper here however and again there is food. The 1st day, my server Gideon apologized because I had just arrived after the kitchen closed. He invited me back the next day, and I when I showed up, he met me with great conversation, food , and drinks. Don't go here expecting an extensive menu. Go here if you are looking for great convo, nice atmosphere and want to get close to the party atmosphere without being in it. ETA, a lot of reviews complain about the 18% gratuity. It is literally posted on the menu, so it isn't a surprise. Also, you can ask the servers about it.

Yelp
It is our first time staying at the Venetian and on our first outing to the pool we decided to have drinks and a bite to eat at Spritz. Our bartender DeAndre was so helpful and attentive. He made amazing drinks and helped me and my girlfriend pick out drinks that we ended up loving. He gave us great dining options and was overall such a pleasant surprise. We are definitely going back.
google avatar

Agnes R.

Yelp
The bar/restaurant looks very nice, staff is friendly and attentive. The food though is absolutely disappointing. $20 dollar for a very dry bacon sandwich, which has barely bacon in it, fake cheese and mediocre eggs. No vegetables or garnish to give at least some moisture. Instead of hash browns we got steak potatoes, which fine but I warning would have been nice. All in all, overpriced let-down :(
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
Nice little poolside restaurant. A little pricey, but what in Vegas isn't? I'd been before and had the chicken tenders and they were really good. This last time I had the breakfast burrito and it was just okay, lacking any flavor at all honestly. All in all, if you're trying to grab some food on the Venetian pool deck, this is your go-to.
google avatar

Mary Jo R.

Yelp
Jess R and Eddie were amazing!! She would be an asset to any business where service is key!!! Made our experience worth the money!!! We will look for Jess again on our next trip!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food: recommend rice crispy rice and bbq chicken pizza! Great service and Sean and Eddie are awesome! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great food and service overlooking the pool at the Venetian hotel. Thanks Michae and Aaliyah

Yelp
Wonderful experience! Andre and Karlie were over the top hospitable! Made it an experience!

Yelp
The Venetian just unveiled their new Pool Deck June 4 amid the reopening of Las Vegas after the Coronavirus closures. One of my best girlfriends and I escaped Chicago to the Venetian for five days. We were happy to dine at Spritz everyday while we were relaxing poolside. This is an outdoor restaurant offering an American menu with a little Mediterranean influence, Serving breakfast and lunch daily. For breakfast we enjoyed the Avocado Toast (it had pomegranate seeds!), the pancakes and the breakfast burrito. For lunch we liked the flat breads, Caesar salad and the Salmon Poke Bowl. Drinks are super yummy as well! This restaurant is casual and we ate every meal in our bikinis sitting in their comfy chairs! You can also bring food To-Go to your pool lounger. Service was excellent and friendly and seemed to be seamless which is great for a brand new restaurant.
google avatar

Inna L.

Yelp
The most important factor is the food quality and taste, this was a 5 stars. But I think it is a little overpriced and I don't believe the automatic gratuity should be applied to take out orders. I understand the situation that we are in or were in the past year but there should be limits to some sort.

John B.

Yelp
Raw bacon does wonders to the intestinal track. Unless you want to know what that is like, stay away from the American breakfast from Spritz.
google avatar

Mtxcoll ..

Yelp
Great service, fun atmosphere, good breakfast food. DeAndre our server was attentive, engaging, and friendly.
google avatar

Johnny N.

Yelp
Spritz was a great time. The truffle burger and crispy rice!! Thats all you need to know. Malik, our server was refreshing after being elsewhere in vegas. He was always there when we needed him. The manager too, I forget her name... Aleeya??
google avatar

Robert L.

Yelp
Anyone goes to Las Vegas knows that it is a fast pace, high energy, world. It was extremely refreshing to go to Spritz Restaurant and Bar, at the Venetian, and have such unbelievably nice and efficient service. Andre, the mixologist, could not have been more personable, professional, and flat out nice in my opinion. I will 100% recommend this facility to everyone. Clean, courteous and great atmosphere. Thank you again Andre for such amazing service!

Syl L.

Yelp
All we wanted was a great pool bar in Vegas and we found it in Spritz! The bartenders Christian and a Theresa were bomb. Drinks were on point and so was the food! Weekends they have a dj that was just killing it. If you want a great pool bar and a chill pool day...check it out.

Wayne M.

Yelp
Great value compared to the rest of the same price range restaurants. Had the chicken tenders. Was 4 tenders, each the size of a breast. Plenty for two of us for lunch. Wedge potatoes were ok too. Also had applewood smoked bacon breakfast sandwich. Big sandwich with also 2 giant square shaped deep fried hash browns. Very tasty and enough for two people IMO.

Adam F.

Yelp
i'm a bar guy, so i was very happy to have a great experience at Spritz Restaurant & Bar! the staff was super welcoming and nice at the bar... i know, i know - i totally could have ordered from the pool or my chair, but there's just something about walking up to the bar, ordering, chatting, and taking your drink back with you. Sean and Sam were great bartenders who got me what i needed from start to finish! it was even nice to have people like Eddie and Catherine checking on me out on the deck... will def make time to come back whenever i'm in Vegas! mezcal palomas for the win!!

Angie S.

Yelp
How do you make a California omelet and not cook the spinach or tomato? it was like scrambled eggs in a salad! Ingredients were fresh but really??

John N.

Yelp
I have had better breakfast food at Denny's. Service was below average. Our waiter was stumped by the simplest additions to our meal. They seem to be out of everything. I felt like Elwood Blues as my dry white toast was barely toasted and came with no butter and the had no jam/jelly. My "homemade " hash browns were terrible. Oh, they put the gratuity on automatically even for parties as small as 2. Big Thumbs Down!

Sunny V.

Yelp
I walked up to the cafe and ordered two side fries which was $12 each. She said total is $30 and charged my card. Printed a receipt with a tip line, total and signature. I tipped extra, she didn't mention that she had included 18% gratuity, without my knowledge or authorization. This was happening all day with drinks and even coffee, which I was just picking it up. Very very deceiving. Management needs to know that employees are overcharging all guests.

Sandra S.

Yelp
Went up to restaurant to ask if there was poolside service. They said yes even asked where I was sitting and they would send someone over. Been sitting for 25 minutes and no one in sight.
google avatar

Lia F.

Yelp
Great avocado Caesar salad. Had it 3 times while staying at the Venetian w/my family amongst many other great menu items. Had great service each time we sat at a table. However on our last day, it was unfortunate that we received poor service from the bartender who treated me very poorly, yelled at me, and then when I cancelled my order bc I couldn't bear to give him the tip that's automatically included in my bill, he kept saying: bye.....bye....ok bye....bye. Treating me like I was not a paying guest at the hotel. Oh, and lied when I asked his name which I quickly found out when complaining to a supervisor. Said supervisor said and did "all the right things" of course but not until after he defended the fake named bartender. I'm only writing this so that if ANY member of their mgmnt actually cares to know how their staff are treating guests...here's a snap shot. And for the Venetian Hotel mgmnt since said Mgr also felt the need to explain that they are "3rd party" whatever that should mean to me - a guest of the Venetian.

Danielle C.

Yelp
Had a great experience here with Philip and Eddie (I'm praying that's there names!). We were here for a bachelorette and they sat us right away and kept the drinks flowing! The food was delicious and they were so sweet and brought out a Champaign gun for us at the end! We had three pregnant girlies with us and they brought them ice cream instead. So sweet and attentive. Thanks guys! We'll for sure be back!
google avatar

Emma E.

Yelp
Our server was MIA and she ROCKED!!! She clearly is very good at what she does and loves her job. She was super attentive and everything was perfect. Beyond that, this has place knows how to make a great spritz and has amazing food. Great atmosphere. Very clean. Great experience!!!

Orlando V.

Yelp
Food was average, atmosphere is ok I guess but there is definitely way better places to go in Las Vegas...Servers, Bartenders, and hosts were great but the managers were assholes. Place just looked chaotic, won't be coming here EVER again

Dylan O.

Yelp
DeAndre went above and beyond. He was very helpful and patient when trying to decide what to order. Ended up with a gimlet! DeAndre exceeded expectations. 5 stars...

Jason M.

Yelp
Last day in Vegas and Andre and Karli made this stop and absolute must do while at the Venetian/Palazzo!! Just go to the bar... you won't be disappointed!

Jay D.

Yelp
Awesome spot by the pool, great and friendly staff. Shout out to our server DeAndre, great service, and really friendly. Came here nearly every morning during our stay at the Venetian.
