Spruzzo Restaurant & Bar

Food was good and service was good. The family loved the complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The peppercorn sauce on the filet mignon was very good. Overall I would definitely return. It is a short drive to the Getty Villa if you are looking for a quick bite before or after heading there, only 5 minutes.

The Spicy Rock Shrimp was the best dish… the Spaghetti Bolognese was okay, but not wow… for me, lack of flavor. The Tiramisú isn’t homemade and was frozen, talked with the manager, and he was denying that it was frozen until I challenged him to taste it, then he offered me an apology, and maybe the fridge was having some problems that day.

Excellent food, great service and beautiful ambience. I’m a booth person so this place is perfect for me.

Enjoyed an early anniversary dinner. Place was not packed, felt intimate, and that's just what we were looking for. Perfect 👌 and service was excellent.

Loved the focuatta bread they brought out! Ended up getting a second round of the bread. The lasagna was good too, very cheesy.

Saturday's dinner is wonderful. The lamb is very delicious and the vibe is chill. I incaustiously forgot my iPod there and Ryan dropped off it for me. I can't appreciate more!! I spent a busy day and it means a lot for me. Spruzzo is a such a warm place!!!!

Very nice little restaurant. It does not look like much from the outside but the inside is beautiful, the staff is very kind and accommodating and they had the best cheesecake! Nice people to talk to as well.

Authentic Italian food. The AHI Tatar was delicious, seafood pasta is strongly recommended.

Gorgeous restaurant!!! The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful with the tables set really nice as well. The lighting isn't too dim but not those annoying fluorescent lights. Our waitress was friendly and checked in on us periodically. We started with their house focaccia bread paired with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar that's on the table that we can pour ourselves. For our main entrees we ordered the 12" BBQ chicken pizza: it's a great size to either share or have leftovers for lunch ;) and the chicken piccata: this is served with steamed veggies and mashed potatoes and let me tell you these mashed potatoes are among the best I've had! The piccata sauce is light but has the perfect amount of citrus tang. Overall both dishes were great! We didn't indulge but they do have a full bar and wine list.

Pizza is OK honestly but the pasta is decent here. The restaurant itself it's pretty regular and the same with the staff. A lot of other locals really recommended this restaurant as a go to, but I'm not sure I would say the same. . The looks of both the food and service were not incredible to say the least.

I just had a nice early dinner at Spruzzo Restaurant and had a superb time. Their ambience was relaxed and collected with enough space between tables. There were several great choices on the menu my order consisted of Fresh Baked Salmon, Rigatoni Vodka, Rigatoni Pesto, Linguine Alfredo and pizza Napoletana. The service was well planned with the server continually checking on drinks, bread and food quality.

We had a reservation and were seated quickly to a booth in the back, it was quiet and private. Servers were friendly but it did take longer than expected to get the check. I personally had the chicken Alfredo pasta which was delicious and served piping hot! We also shared the garlic fries to start which were outstanding. Nice dinner spot in the palisades!

This place exceeded my expectations... came here for lunch with the girls after we got done hiking cz we found this place through instagram :) we seen a video of the place that went viral and it looked pretty good so we gave it try. First impression, the style and character of the restaurant was nice, it definitely fits the vibe. Everyone was so welcoming & friendly. Excellent service. Great menu choices, I had such a hard time deciding cause everything sounded so good. They serve you with delicious complementary bread. Don't sleep on that, it was tasty! We also started off with some Calamari, AMAZING!! If you love calamari it's definitely worth coming here for. It was gone before we could even snap a picture of it. I rewarded myself an espresso Martini after a good hike lol & let me just say that I will do the commute just for those 2 things alone... I mean wow, the drink was made with love. Haha I went ahead with the chicken pesto sandwich with avacados & a side of ceasar salad. The girls got Chicken Alfredo & Homemade chicken Ravioli... everything was very well seasoned which made it extremely satisfying. Last but not least, we ended it with delicious Tiramisu for dessert, I'm sure that's a crowd pleaser :D Also the owner was kind enough to introduce himself & showed us such an appreciating dinning experience. We definitely went into a food coma on the way home. Shoutout to my girl Evelin for the 2 hr commute home!!

Very impressed by their bolognese sauce it was really good. The cocktails were also of good quality I would probably come back again.

The food is outstanding! My son has ordered the spaghetti multiple times. Every time it is served exactly to his liking. The noodles are cooked perfectly and the sauce is delicious. I love the beet salad with an added avocado. It is so good. Outside on a cool night they have heaters to keep you warm, or you can dine inside too.

A neighborhood casual Italian that serves the locals very well. Decent sized interior with some tables outside near the parking lot. We had the sole w/ lemon cream sauce and Eggplant Parm. w/ a side of spaghetti. May try the chicken parm next time. I enjoyed the Meomi Pinot Noir so much I got another glass. Service was relaxed as is Spruzzo.

Great Happy Hour! We had: Two veggie pizzas Meatballs Calamari Two glasses of Pinot Noir Two Gin and Tonics ...all for $60 before tip! Service is very good here, with friendly and courteous wait staff. We will be back!

Great neighborhood Italian restaurant with a wide variety of menu options for everyone in your party. This is one of the few places in the Palisades with a bar where you can watch the latest sports event or come for a simple dinner with your family or friends. We ordered the chicken piccata and a 12 inch cheese pizza. Both were quite tasty. Pizza is thin crust like Italy. Service was friendly and attentive. This was one of those inviting places where you are happy to return to for simple, comfort Italian fare.

The food was really good. We ordered takeout. Chicken Parmesan. Wings. Skirt Steak and a pizza to share. All of it was good. We had it delivered so it wasn't hot but that's the grub job guys fault. I would definitely try again and probably dine in

Amazing happy hour & service! I stopped in for a late afternoon bite after leaving the nearby beach. My bartender was welcoming and helpful; she informed me it was happy hour so I ordered a couple margaritas, meatball mozzarella and bruschetta.. all were delicious and for a great price! I had my two drinks and a belly full of appetizers for under $30. Seems to be a popular spot for locals. Great vibe, super kind staff. Restaurant is very well-kept yet intimate enough. Can't wait to stop in again next time I'm in the area.

Pesto was very good. One of the best I've had. Tho there was some issues with the delivery, restaurant not at fault, however food was worth the wait. Regret not ordering the tiramisu.

Cute Italian restaurant located in the Palisades Highlands Shopping Center. I ordered takeaway - food - 3 stars. spaghetti carbonara - very creamy, rich, filling, flavorful, generous portion. Spicy Rock shrimp - a little spicy but very good - shrimp was still crispy! Buffalo wings - good, but 7 wings for $15 - very expensive, I would pass on this.

Absolutely excellent dining experience!!.... The staff are super cool and always available.... Inside seating is extensive and it looks classy indoors.... There's a good amount of tables outside as well.... Personally I think this restaurant is the best Italian option available...I'm always very pleased with whatever I order here!

Really really good food, loved the chinese salad and i had a spaghetti carbonara which was really tasteful but had a little too much oil. The bread they give you is also very fresh and soft. Great service aswell, there's seating inside and out.

Good food and friendly staff. My mom loves their minestrone soup and linguini with clams. I get their chicken marsala or seafood pasta. Their Italian sub sandwich is also good. They mixed up a pasta on our take out once and I didn't notice until I got home. They were so nice about it and had someone deliver the correct pasta. Also, is it just me or do they have a same owner or chef from the old restaurant Tivoli's (where Casa Nostra now is) work here?! The seafood pasta and Italian house dressing are identical to what Tivoli's served. The pasta and dressing were signature house items to Tivoli's so it can't be a coincidence that Spruzzo's tastes the same, can it? Either way, I'm happy I can order these nostalgic dishes from Spruzzo!

You gotta go for the Spicy Hot Rock Shrimp. It is fantastic in flavor and taste here. We had the pleasure of eating at this spot earlier in the week. Another gourmet style food atmosphere . My first time ever eating at Spruzzo Restaurant. I also had me a couple of glasses of wine to enjoy my Italian dinner. SInce my girl would be the one driving us home lol. Nice people and waiters and waitresses here treated us like family. Hope we have the pleasure of coming back again.

We love getting take out from here, the food is always delicious and the order is always correct . The beet salad is a must if you are a fan of beets ! We like to share that with a large pizza, their pizza is outstanding. I always get the tiramisu.

We went to Spruzzo yesterday and Let me start by saying the food was delicious... but the waiter, although very nice, seemed a little scattered. The restaurant was not busy at all but he kept forgetting things and just seemed like his mind was elsewhere and some of our requests were acknowledged but he didn't follow through. My husband didn't get his salad. And some of the little things we asked for we never got like some extra sauce for my husband's pasta. Instead the waiter pointed at the pasta and said there's sauce there. Lol (maybe he should have a refresher on customer service) I liked that the restaurant was very clean and my margarita was delicious and so was the pizza and for that reason i give it 3 stars.

Disappointed. I've been coming here for the past 15 years or so but was left disappointed this time around. Waited about 30 minutes to get seated, only to sit inside where the tables were unoccupied. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Was served luke warm water from outside, that had a big in it. Was brought "new" water but this time it was completely warm with no ice. The basket of bread was fine. Ordered: Italian Salad. It was missing the watermelon radish but the overall taste was okay. Rigatoni Pesto- Way too much pesto cream sauce. The pasta was drowning in it. Linguine Seafood-Overall taste was nice. Seafood tasted fresh.

A local haven filled with a neighborhood vibe we have come to trust + treasure! A few favorites are the Chinese Chicken Salad, Margarita Pizza & Espresso Martini. The staff is always hospitable and lovely. The Palisades location is our favorite! Enjoy

I loved it. I live in Santa Clarita and started coming down to LA more cause lets face it the food scene not great up there. Service and food is excellent and very much worth the trip. Definitely will be back.

First, let me start by saying the service at Spruzzo is exceptional. From the moment you are greeted with a warm smile and the staff are always on hand to answer any questions. The wait staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu which adds to the great dining experience. The Penne Alfredo with Chicken was simply divine. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was rich and creamy with just the right amount of seasoning. It was clear that the ingredients were of high quality and that the chef takes great pride in their craft. Overall, I would highly recommend Spruzzo whether you are looking for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends this restaurant is sure to impress!!

333 pizza delivered was excellent-do need to crisp the bottom in a frying pan before serving-bottom is soggy. Club sandwich was enjoyed as well. Delivery very prompt.

Let me start by saying that the food here tasted very good. Now comes the bad part. I had diarrhea 4 hours after eating here. One of the dishes I had was their beet salad and what I saw in the porcelain throne was remnants of the greens in the salad. I had not had salad greens prior to this for at least a week. So I am certain it was their salad unless my stomach is a salad growing field. Now comes the worst part. I made a courtesy call to the manager to let him know so he could talk to his staff. What the manager did was told me that what he learned from food school is that these things happen 6 to 12 hours after consuming contaminated food. What they failed to tell him was that every person reacts differently. He proceeded to tell me that he's not saying that I'm lying but.... That generally means that he's saying that I am lying. He said that he could do something for me if I still believed that it was his food. I responded by saying that this was a courtesy call and that I didn't want anything from him. Had he just accepted what I was saying without presenting his "food school" credentials and talked to his staff about it, I wouldn't be writing this.

The vegetarian pizza was so good that it was tasty even when delivered cold at the beach. Compare to Rocco's pizza next door which was downright the worst we have ever had.

We've known about Spruzzos forever as malibu residents but stumbled upon this gem today..the owner and his sons are so welcoming..Emma our server was delightful! I wish I would have taken photos to add to this review..we had the calamari to start wonderful dipping sauces and so fresh!! We split the penne vodka and it was one of the best we've had..we are excited to come back and try so many other dishes..especially the pizzas! Happy to find a new restaurant with good service and great food..def a must try!!

That Lady and I have enjoyed dining there several times so far. Each time our dining experience has gotten better, mostly from the excellent staff and great tasting food. You can tell the owner cares and the staff supports that perspective by being attentive. The steaks are delicious, the pasta dishes are excellent and some of the tastiest salads and sides you could want. I am partial to the grilled artichoke and Greek Salad with added Ahi Tuna. Additionally, they turn out a wonderful spinach soup. And some of us they have an excellent bar with a knowledgeable mixologist for your favorite cocktail. Kid and pet friendly.

This spot is close to home so I want to like it!! The ambiance/service is ok. I keep going back & trying different food but everything tastes so bland and generic. And not consistent either. I could deal with funky service if the food quality was better!! Overpriced and basic sadly :(

Great place to grab a bite if you're out in Malibu. The outdoor patio area has nice ambiance and there's generally good parking in the lot right below. The food is good and the service is usually very good, although I think they struggle sometimes with only a couple servers to cover the whole place.

So happy we tried this place out, everything (except the artichoke appetizer) was perfect for our lunch after visiting the Self-Realization Center. The restaurant itself is airy, bright, spacious and good amount of booth seating. Bathrooms were clean and smelled good, although only 2 stalls. Staff was friendly, fast and didn't bother us as we wanted to take our time and chat during this meal. They provide complimentary warm soft bread with olive oil and vinegar on the table, which is always going to get bonus points with me. First off, the Aperol Spritz drink was sooo divine. I believe it was the manager or someone like that who was making them and damn, it was so good I had to get 2. We decided to do appetizers and ordered the mozzarella sticks which were really yummy with the marinara sauce, we got the grilled artichokes which I wouldn't recommend. I think chopping up artichoke hearts and adding them to dishes is the way to go, so I've learnt. Just artichokes on their own don't offer much meat or flavor so I would say this shouldn't be a dish on its own. The star dish was the beet salad...omg, we both devoured this. We had a to-go order of the eggplant parmigiana that comes with spaghetti, I tasted this and let me tell you, it was hard not to eat it all myself, 10/10 for this dish. I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back for the food and Aperol Spritzs!

Deliciousness!! Ordered Calamari, Artichokes and the Spaghetti w Meatballs. It fed 3 people! Even better the next day for lunch. Bread was ok. Pretty dense. Would have preferred a softer bread. Staff is super nice and professional!!

Our Pickleball group had a fantastic happy hour with wonderful food and service. We all enjoyed ourselves on the outdoor patio. Thanks to Ryan for being so welcoming

This is a cozy neighborhood spot. I've been here twice now and both times received excellent service, delicious food and the best Skinny Margaritas I've ever had, made by owner Ryan. The menu is Italian and American continental fare and served in generous portions at great prices. Their fabulous weekday happy hour menu is enough reason to stop by and the servers are cordial and attentive. If you're looking for a regular haunt to frequent in Pacific Palisades, Spruzzo's will not disappoint. And by the way, they have great burgers!
