Where to Find Ice Cream in Austin | Eater Austin

"In Spun Ice Cream’s bright, compact space I watched fresh milk and cream get cooled by spinning with very cold liquid nitrogen, producing billowing clouds and a noticeably creamier, richer ice cream; the shop runs four mixers churning made-to-order cups, lists the daily menu and specials on a large chalkboard wall, offers minimal seating (two benches and four stools), and opened with flavors like the house Crackerjack (kettle corn ice cream with peanut molasses brittle, caramel popcorn sprinkles, and brown butter powder)." - Eater Staff

So only 4 out of 5 stars because of the price. Apart from that, it is a fun & interesting spot. In line with current style, the interior is a mixture of stainless steel and wood, the menu has the classics but in a savoury, Polish way. Truly delicious, and a definite good spot for lunch. There were some mistakes with our order but the staff dealt with it elegantly and kindly. Would I recommend it? Yes. But I just want to warn visitors that, compared to other (similar) lunch brunch spots in the neighbourhood, this one is just a bit pricier. Again: they do deliver an excellent meal.

The place is nice and cozy to go for a coffee and have a bite. I was there at lunch time, I was starving and the food was ok. To me seemed a bit pricey for the quantity/quality. I would rather recommend it as a coffee house rather than a restaurant.

The food here is delicious and service is amazing. Staff are also friendly especially the servers.

Spun is a trendy spot on the Warsaw map. The place itself is quite pleasant—with a nice crowd, stylish interior, and overall a comfortable atmosphere for enjoying a cup of coffee. As for the food—I had the steak with mashed potatoes, and it was genuinely tasty. Unfortunately, pancakes weren’t available on the menu. In general, the menu is fairly small, and a few types of beer listed were also unavailable, which was a bit disappointing. The vibe is nice—but it would be great if the music were a bit more interesting. Right now it's just background music, and the place doesn’t really have a standout element that makes it memorable.

Special thanks for salad leaves in the menu. Pancakes are superb, but I wish to have an option with salmon as well (or an egg)

We ordered some food and coffee. Got the food, coffee didn’t arrive. After a while we asked the waitress what’s wrong. She seemed to have completely forgotten about it. Fine, everyone can forget sometimes, no big deal. Waited 15 more minutes. Still no coffee. Decided to leave, kinda angry at the whole thing. At checkout, they still added the never-delivered coffee to the receipt. When confronted about it they offered a half-hearted “sorry“, found the coffee lost somewhere near the bar and sold it to us as takeaway. I used to like this place, but this whole experience made me kinda sad. Edit: Their response tries to rewrite what happened 😞. It wasn't an 'additional' coffee - it was part of our original order. We didn't even receive any coffee before attempting to leave. Also, they're now trying to guilt-trip me for not leaving positive reviews before 🤦. Funny how they're apologetic in public now but couldn't manage a genuine apology in person 💔. Anyway, I really hope they'll do better in the future 🤞, their cakes are really good.

I had lunch at spun: ordered omelet with salmon, sweet syrnyki, cheesecake and ceremonial matcha. Everything was delicious, amazing quick service and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended
