We ordered some food and coffee. Got the food, coffee didn’t arrive. After a while we asked the waitress what’s wrong. She seemed to have completely forgotten about it. Fine, everyone can forget sometimes, no big deal. Waited 15 more minutes. Still no coffee. Decided to leave, kinda angry at the whole thing. At checkout, they still added the never-delivered coffee to the receipt. When confronted about it they offered a half-hearted “sorry“, found the coffee lost somewhere near the bar and sold it to us as takeaway. I used to like this place, but this whole experience made me kinda sad.
Edit: Their response tries to rewrite what happened 😞. It wasn't an 'additional' coffee - it was part of our original order. We didn't even receive any coffee before attempting to leave. Also, they're now trying to guilt-trip me for not leaving positive reviews before 🤦. Funny how they're apologetic in public now but couldn't manage a genuine apology in person 💔. Anyway, I really hope they'll do better in the future 🤞, their cakes are really good.
