Very excited that you opened a new location in Walnut Creek! We needed this. The food was excellent—the Hawaiian pizza and the vodka sauce were good choices, cooked to perfect temperatures. The staff was very friendly and helpful, pointing out what's not at the top of the menu and giving suggestions on other pizzas. I would definitely come back again. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been here three times since I saw I could place an order and each time the pizza has been amazing. Being from the midwest I have been addicted to Jet’s Pizza and since moving to CA, I thought I would never get my Detroit style fix, but SPG delivers. Thank you guys for making me feel right at home with every crispy bite of pizza. 5/5 all around.

I frequently drive all over the area for my job and I'm stoked that a location in Walnut Creek opened up. Excellent pizza and a good spot to sit and exist in for a minute while catching a break. Even just the basic pepperoni is some of the best pizza I've ever had

So Facebook was blowing up my phone with these 40% off promos, and like most people were unable to use during their soft opening. Then I got an add for $10 credit if I downloaded their app. I thought I could use that towards ordering a pizza which is also incorrect. (You need enough points earned in the app to pay for the entire item) I thought let me just walk in an order a pizza on Friday since Google said they open at 1130, and it wouldn't let me order through the app and they didn't pick up the phone. A sign on the door said they didn't open til 3pm that day. Skunked again. Sunday rolled around and I was able I place an order through the app using a 20% off coupon which helps cause these small pizzas are on the pricey side. I parked in the Bart garage, walked over grabbed my bag and went back to my car. Before I drove off i told myself I should open the bag and check if I got the right order. Sure enough both items I ordered were wrong. I walked back over, explained the situation (I had to reopen the bag and pull out both now opened boxes of pizza and cheese bread and then show them the receipt that was stacked ro the bag on how they didn't match up). "OK, we'll have to remake them." I then had to wait another 30 minutes for my order. When they handed me the bag and I walked out the door I received a half apology like they've been saying it all week. They could of at least let me keep the wrong order since it was already opened. Were the employees going to eat it or just throw it away? Would have been nice to try other menu items and thought the situation could have been handled better. Overall the pizzas were delicious. Not sure I'll go back until they work out all their kinks which might take a few months. If you do go, and it's on the weekend, park in the Bart garage. It's free on weekends and a short walk over.

Amazing food, fresh ingredients, local, and I love that SPG provides promo days for us foodies to their new stores to allow new staff to ramp up. They even have a sign that lets you know they are in training. The pizza, wings, and salad were all fire! 🔥 So glad my favorite Detroit style pizza shop is expanding in the bay! Umm, can we also talk about the social impact donations and collabs with local artist? Support local!!! 🤘🏻🙌🏼

I saw a post about this place on Instagram and decided to stop by. The cashier was who had curly hair in a ponytaiI was very helpful!! ordered the Hawaiian pizza and substituted Beyond Beef instead of pepperoni. Overall, it was a good experience. One small suggestion: if customers are not allowed to substitute ingredients on the standard menu pizzas and are instead required to build their own, it would be helpful to update the POS system so the cashier can easily select and add the appropriate ingredients to the pizza. I would forsure come back for another pizza!!
