This food was soooo good! My wife and I split the fish n chips and it melted in my mouth. Rosemary fries were amazing. And they were very friendly. We had a great conversation with the lady out front while she took our order and we waited. Would go again, 100%.

Among the best if not THE BEST fish and chips I've had on the Oregon coast. It had perfectly golden breading, with smooth tasty halibut on the inside. The flavor was delicious and the fries were great too! Service was very friendly as well.

The best chowder on the coast!! You can stick a spoon in it and it stands up. I crave it. Fish and chips have local lingcod and the best light and crunchy batter. Great place to chill on the coast. Lots of love in the service, food, and outpost!

Great food. Great people. Fresh Fish each week based on what is locally available at the dock in Newport, yum! Chicken and Waffle with Bacon Butter and syrup, yum! Rosemary French fries, yum! World Class Clam Chowder! I pick up Every week we’re in town. Update 5/22: it’s been a year since my original post and these folks are still Great. Some places start to slip over time. Not these folks. Update 8/25: so, wife and continue visiting and Squatchsami continues to be great. We visit a couple times a month.

I wish I would have ordered 2 of our meals the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. I'm visiting from Michigan and I would have come back today for more. The young man working in the dining area was amazing. What a fantastic meal!!

Best fish and chips hands down. The chicken strips are also 5 🌟. Fish is perfectly cooked and great batter. Definitely would recommend 👌 👍.

My daughter has the best party for her 11th birthday here. The kids all got delicious ice cream and the space was perfect. I highly recommend having your next party here!

Went to this place last year, and it was amazing! Great fish and chips! Absolutely loved loved loved the chicken strips! Missed out on the chowder, but we knew if we didn’t get there at open we’d probably miss out on it, so that’s on us for not going early. Looking forward to stopping there our next time in Lincoln City! 🤗

I had the fish and chips and a cup of the clam chowder. The fish is locally sourced ling cod. The batter is nice and crispy and the fish is soft and flavorful. Not over cooked like I have had at another popular restaurant nearby. I upgraded to rosemary salt on the Fries. Delicious!!! The meal took about 8-9 minutes to cook. The staff are super friendly. They make sure you have everything you need for your meal. They have seating right behind the truck. I also believe they have a dining area as well. I will be back as soon as my wife gets out of the hospital.

I am going to start out with: BEST CLAM CHOWDER ON 101!!! We tried the chowder from places across Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, and Newport. Hands down, the BEST! The fish and chips...were amazing. The fry on them were incredible and the freshest fish we had in the area. This will be a required stop for us on all our visits. Note: While people may get scared off since this is a food truck, don't let appearances fool you! They have an inside space where you can order and they bring the food to you.

Find this truck tucked against the southern side of Salishan and take it to eat inside. The halibut was fresh and the rosemary fries exceptional. Pair it with Beachcrest Hef and eat it a table in the sun while listening to Soul Proprietors and you are in heaven!!

Cruisin the Oregon coast and wanted some good fish and chowder! This was the perfect stop for that! Great flavor to the fish, crispy fries and delicious chowder! Friendly, quick service! So glad we stopped here! Food truck with outdoor seating options available.

We ordered fish and chips and chicken. Chicken was huge. Food was served very hot, straight out of the fryer. Fish was juicy and tender but a little bit oily. Overall, good food.

We make it here a few times a year. By far the best clam chowder in the PNW. Found out today there's a store and an eating are around the corner. Thanks Debbie for being the best waitress/hostess. Beautiful setting. Sunshine and no wind.

Such a WORTHWHILE stop!! We actually turned around and retraced over 5 miles to eat here because of the amazing reviews!! The reviews were correct! Delicious chowder and fish and chips! It was raining and we were so happy that they have a charming indoor seating area! The atmosphere is comfortable with beautiful views! Debbie (the owner) not only took our order, she delivered it to us! The passion Debbie exhibited was demonstrated by her entire staff! We will return next time we are in the area!!

The reviews all read "best clam chowder" in the Oregon Coast!! So I wanted to come and check it out for myself. The food truck is located in a small shopping area, which meant plenty of parking. My partner and I got 2 pieces of cod, a small cup of clam chowder, and coleslaw. We got super lucky because we got the last of the clam chowder! Mind you... this was at around noon, so the clam chowder was really selling that day. The clam chowder was indeed good, with generous portions of clam, and very filling! The fish was excellent too -- generously battered, but not over-battered to a point that you can't taste the fish anymore. The service was also great because the owners kept checking up on us to see how everything was going. If I'm at the coast, I'd definitely come back for some good fish and some great chowder.

Was in Lincoln City for a weekend trip and stumbled upon this cute food truck on Yelp. Couldn't really figure out where the location was at first and called the establishment and spoke to Debbie who was super nice and provided adequate directions to the marketplace where the truck was located. We enjoyed the fish and chips and was super tempted to try their clam chowder but will have to come back another time. Fish and chips were amazing, the fries reminded me of McDonald's fries (for me that's a compliment) and the tartar sauce was stellar. Must try spot if you're up in the area and they even have a cozy indoor seating area if you want to stay warm.

I left a review last year but had to leave another one as I met the owner, Debbie, and tried a few new items. The food is simply delicious and all fresh made to order. The service is always 5 star rating. Debbie, the owner, treated us to a complimentary piece of their homemade Tiramisu, which whichbmeled in your mouth. They have added a cozy indoor option if you wish to sit inside. Outside seating is available as well.

Squatchsami Food Truck and Outpost is amazing! Customer service is top notch! Debbie went above and beyond for us and my unique request for some seasoning to go. Rosemary fries are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, perfectly seasoned with fresh chopped rosemary. Each one is a a flavor explosion in your mouth! Chicken was juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Seasonal waffle was piled high with delicious fresh apples in a cinnamon, sugar compote. Highly recommend! Amazing food! Wow! Had recently heard about this place online from the comment section of a Facebook post about places to eat. My husband and I finally got to go try it out today and my only complaint is that we didn't know about it sooner! We got the fish and chips and a strawberry lemonade and both were phenomenal! The rosemary fries were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of crunch and the fish was cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor! Strawberry lemonade was the perfect balance and a great pairing with the fish and chips. We come to Lincoln City all the time and somehow didn't know about this place but we do now and we will DEFINITELY be back, but next time we'll bring the kids too! Can't wait to try the chowder and pulled pork sandwich in the future! The woman who served us was so friendly and sweet. Overall just a 10/10 experience! Thank you, Squatchsami! Be back soon!

Hands down the best fish and chips in the area. Friendly service (way way nicer people than other local fish and chip shop), were so kind to our littles and the food was amazing. Dreaming of the next time we go back!

Can't go wrong, fish and fries on point! I typically order rosemary fries & cod. Lady that takes the order is a sweet heart, thank you for great service! The place is located next to Depoe Bay bakery, they have a nice covered patio around back, you can have some drinks as well.

I heard they often run out of food unless you order ahead. By the time we got to the website, ordering online wasn't available, so we set off early the next day and were the first ones in line. They were super nice and accommodating. We sat down in their cute coffee shop and enjoyed their chicken and waffles. It was a huge portion and delicious. I wish I had room to try their clam chowder. I hear it's something they run out of quickly. I guess I'll have to visit again when I'm in the area.

I've been lucky enough to be able to eat some really great food located at a food truck and their Outpost only a short distance up the road from my home. The crew at Squatchsami Food Truck and Outpost are some of the friendliest I've come across here on the coast. The food is on another level, depending on your preference. You can choose from the fresh locally sourced fish which is currently Halibut (Lingcod when halibut is out of season), Chicken in a few different variations, Waffles with fresh fruits depending on season or with Chicken, salads, and fresh made daily Chowder. My recommendation is work your way through the menu, I have! The halibut is my favorite in both fish and fries or the Sami variety with the added pickled onions (add some malt vinegar for another level). What I really love about the crew is their willingness to try new things, hence a secret menu. The Chopped Cheese is my go to sandwich when I need something different. You have to experience it and I'll add keep the jalapeños! I'm not much for that kind of heat but it truly adds to elevate the sandwich to next level stuff, personally I'd like to see Triple D test drive it for merit. I think Guy would approve! Also spring for the fries upgrade with Rosemary, this freshly grown by them and adds some great flavor if you're up for it. Unfortunately for me I can't give a review of the Chowder as I'm highly allergic to shellfish so I've not personally tried it (really wish I could) but, I have it on good authority from close friends that came to visit, that it is awesome! I highly recommend trying them out next time you're in the area, you won't be disappointed, hopefully you agree.

Best chicken and waffle. That should be all. But let's elaborate. The batter was delightfully light. The maple syrup was beautiful. The waffle was airy and crisp. The chicken was amazing and moist. Perfect cook. The halibut and chips with rosemary were delightful. Great fry and wonderful batter. Stop by and have a try, you'll regret it later.

Amazing food, friendly service, great dining room to eat the food ordered from a food truck in the parking lot. My husband and I shared a fresh Halibut sandwich. More than enough to share, flaky and crispy fish on a fresh bun. The Lime Cilantro Cole slaw is ridiculously good. We finished with a brownie Ala mode. It's definitely the best fish sandwich we ever had and the best meal we have had in a restaurant in a very long time.

We had been craving clam chowder and were holding out to try Squatchsami's since we heard it was made fresh daily, and it was totally worth it! The clam chowder was delicious and the bread bowl was also amazing! Definitely would recommend! The service was also friendly and fast!

This was some of the best fish and chips we found in the area, and I tried quite a few. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't yet halibut season (I understand this is late June through October), but the cod was top notch. That's not usually my go-to fish, but it was expertly prepared and fresh. If this is what you're craving, definitely stop by!

The fish +rosemary fries and clam chowder were spectacular! The chowder was creamy and full of generous portions of clams. The fish was thick with a light and crispy batter. Adding rosemary to the fries was well worth the upgrade. The staff was attentive and friendly. We anticipated having to eat in our car but they had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We are feeling fortunate we were in town on a weekend so we could try what everyone was raving about. It lived up to the hype!

We love the chicken and waffles, and the rosemary fries at this food truck. The food is delicious and the service is so attentive. The inside space is nice for when it's not very warm outside. Also the brownie sundae is "to die for." The gal taking orders is so sweet. I highly recommend this special place.

We ordered the fish n fries and a bowl of chowder, and brought them to the brewery so we can sit down and eat with beers. The fish chips were fresh, hot and juicy, and surprisingly it was not oily at all. The french fries were thin and coated in a rosemary salt mixture, which was addicting-ly good! The chowder was nice and thick, overall it was a really good meal. The brewery had an outdoor seating area, which was surrounded with beautiful views of the bay. We ordered a hazy IPA and a dry cider to go with the fish and chips, and they were refreshing with all the fried/starchy food we were having. Overall, we liked this food cart as food were amazing and so does the people who worked in it. We would definitely recommend it and would come back again and again :)

For me, still the best fish & chips on the coast. This weekend we decided to actually try another option as well, the chicken strips. While served in huge pieces and definitely enjoyed, the chicken still can't beat that fish. Friendly service and amazing fish...keeps me coming back!

Five stars for their New England-style clam chowder Five stars for their beer battered halibut fish & fries Five stars for their Chix-N Waffle with bacon butter Seriously could not have been a more enjoyable food cart experience. Only you have the best of both worlds since the food cart is in the parking lot of the Salishan Marketplace and they have an indoor dining area overlooking the golf course so it is a comfortable dining experience too. Staff at the cart and in the Outpost were as attentive and kind as can be. Loved every bite!

Best clam chowder in Oregon! We always have to stop by when we are in the area. Fish sandwich is also good and huge. The women who takes the order is friendly and always has a positive attitude!!

Some pretty excellent fish and chips. I prefer batter to panko when it comes to fish and chips. These are battered. The perfect part is the ratio of fish to batter. Not too much not too little. It's a good batter but I've definitely had better. It was a little under seasoned which happened to be a theme. I like the cut of the fries. Nice and thin and not too crispy. Unfortunately just a little short on seasoning but it is easier to add than take away. We got the affogato too. I don't know if they understand what one is. The ratio of ice cream to espresso was way off. But it's hard to complain about too much ice cream. The clam chowder was some of the best I've had in a while. Lots of interesting stuff in it. A hit with the family. It's good to have options in this area. If we were in this part of town again I'd come back. Note. They share outdoor seating area with the brewery even though the signage is not super obvious.

Love! Everything is amazing but the rosemary fries are addictive! The chicken is huge and juicy. The clam chowder has more clam than potato! And the salads are so good! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

In the fall of 2020, my wife and I travelled down the Oregon coast and it was my goal to try as many different fish & chips offerings as possible along the way. My final tally was twelve. Most were good, some were very good but the undisputed champ of this epicurean undertaking was the Squatchsami food truck parked at the Salishan Marketplace in Gleneden Beach. The fish is flavorful, moist and flakey and the crispy beer battered coating is like a crunchy warm hug enveloping the lingcod or halibut (depending on the season). Our daughter loves their honey-kissed, buttermilk fried, hand dredged chicken and she insists on the rosemary fries. My wife swears by their clam chowder but order early because it's in high demand and sells out quickly. Pro tip: Order the chicken & waffle with bacon butter, take it home and put it in your refrigerator - you'll thank me at around 11:30 that night. Proprietors Ken and Debbie are the best, the kind of people you hope will be successful in all of their endeavors and if you order from Squatchsami, their cuisine-level food truck (yes, it does exist), it will become immediately clear that their wildly successful business is no accident. My wife and I have since moved to Gleneden Beach into a house that is, unsurprisingly, within walking distance of the Squatchsami food truck!

Best fish and chips I've had on the Oregon coast and I'm not even exaggerating. Their batter is lit. I look forward to it. I CRAAAVE it. My man loves their chicken and the salad with spinach and apple and feta and hazelnuts is wonderful- the dressing is perfectly light. Debbie is the bombest and I'm glad to have them around.

I've never had lingcod before, so I was skeptical, but this is probably some of the best seafood I've had on the Oregon coast by far! It was NOT busy, which, I loved.....and I'll be coming back for sure!!!!

Wow! The reviews are true, some of the best fish & chips and the chicken tenders were awesome. I've had fish & chips all over, and these were perfect. Crispy light outside and the halibut was flaky and juicy inside. We visited at the end of the tourist off season and service was friendly and fast. Can't wait to go back and try the clam chowder as well!

I'm in agreement with the masses. I went to the food truck and loved it. We live about an hour away, and I wanted to take photos for a private Facebook group I'm a part of. The woman taking the order and the chef were most accommodating. They were so nice and helpful & put the syrup on the side. I knew the chicken and waffles were excellent. They always are. We also got the chowder, and it did not disappoint. Yum. Their fish is fresh and battered to perfection. If you see the food truck, you should go. I'm guessing the restaurant is the same, but I always love to go to the truck. This place is a 10/10. As good as the food is, the chef and the people taking the order are even better. Isn't it nice to support a local company with great employees? Go. Go. Go.

We were there for the chicken! Tried both chicken and waffles, and the chicken sandwich as takeout. From the untrained tastebud, all I could say was delicious! Everything I wanted in a brunch. For another point of view, my boyfriend is serious about his fried chicken. He carefully explicated the chicken experience. He reasoned the larger size of the fillets added to an excellent chicken to breading ratio and kept the inside perfectly cooked. For fried chicken on its own, it was a little under seasoned, however in this case, the chicken needed to work for a chicken sandwich and chicken and waffles. It was nicely balanced for both uses. Freshly prepared! Service was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back to try the fish!

The worst thing about this place is trying to decide what to get. Everything on their menu is fresh and delicious. The fish and chips are crispy and flavorful. Not a fan of fish...their chickens strips (huge and made to order) are incredible. The salads are so good that you don't feel like you're missing out. Their pulled pork is scrumptious too. Let's not forget the clam chowder!!! There's a reason they sell out every day. Do yourself a favor and go there. You won't regret it. - I also have to mention the crew. You'd be hard pressed to find nicer people. Seriously a great experience every time we go.

We were first impressed by the willingness to accommodate our basketball team with all the parents on very little notice. We arrived and tables had been reserved, and the staff was super friendly. We all ordered food and drinks and spread out. The fish & chips and chicken were fresh and very good. We also enjoyed the cookies and ice cream. The extra nice thing about this Salishan Marketplace is the ability to either eat inside the nice outpost or venture out under a tent with heat lamps or inside the Beachcrest brewing with the food. I will definitely visit this marketplace again.

I felt like Clam Chowder on this fine Sunday! I saw this location and thought, "A spontaneous drive would be great." Upon arrival, I was greeted by Kylie (hope I got that right, she wasn't to be seen upon my departure) I ordered a cup of Clam Chowder and a Fish Sandwich with Rosemary Fries. Clam Chowder didn't disappoint!! Was Hot!, thick, and flavorful! The fish Sandwich was good and the ciabatta bread held together very nicely & with a rustic look! I can't wait to return and trysome other items.

Amazing food! Clam chowder was hot and spot on with flavor. Fish and chips was the best I've ever had. Fish was tender, flaky, and moist under a wonderful tasting batter. The fries were yummy and crispy. We will definitely patronize this establishment again. Thank you for the yummy fresh meal!

Hands down, absolute BEST fish & chips on the central OR coast. Ditch the crappy chain food and come here - the fish is seasonal and incredibly fresh (ling cod during winter/spring, now back to white & tender halibut), the fries are delicious and CRISP, and the 'slaw is just right, not too sweet. And the proprietor is SO nice and so friendly, she always checks in and asks how it is and makes sure her customers are 100% happy. I really appreciate this personal touch and this truck - parked at the Salishan lodge over the weekends - deserves all the business it can handle. Love coming here every couple of weeks with my dog for lunch and a trail walk along the golf course afterward. If I could give MORE than 5 stars, I would!

Had to return on our second recent visit to Lincoln City with our group of extended family. Everyone agreed best fish and chips they've ever had. Normally I wouldn't mention sides but if you care at all about coleslaw theirs is a must try. Creamy lemony goodness. And the fish, like everything else, is top quality. Whoever cooks it does it to perfection. Excellent customer service. Do yourself a favor and go.
