Went here for lunch today with my kids and my aunt. My aunt is very disabled and can only sit in booths so we had to sit right next to a table of rowdy and beefy men in their 40s downing multiple large bottles of sake. They were having a very loud and fun lunch, filming each other chugging their booze. Whatever, that was fine.
Then they started dropping loud f-bombs and other choice language and my kids got really uncomfortable. I asked them very politely if they could please try not to swear in front of my kids. The one doing the swearing became belligerent, denied doing it, then said he didn't care, and one of his buddies said he didn't care either. I clarified "did you just say that you don't care?" and luckily the manager swooped in just then and asked them to leave. One kindly peeled out, but the others put up a really big fuss. The manager explained he's trying to run a family place and he'd call the cops if needed. It got really uncomfortable but they left. They seemed to be VERY drunk.
The manager then came to apologize to us. His name was Aaron. I credit him for doing what he did, and it wasn't the restaurant's fault these guys were drunk lunks. I'm very thankful he stepped in when he did, because the conversation was turning really dark. Big men, picking on a mom, two children, and a disabled woman.
The food was ok. The servers were great. I don't know if I'd be back just because it would remind me of this experience.
On a personal note, I wish the lunks well, hope they got home safely, and hope they can find some grace for others next time.
