I have enjoyed many meals in this restaurant - often celebrating special occasions - but I cannot recommend takeout. The young lady who took my order over the phone was friendly and knowledgeable. However, when I arrived I learned she was new and should not have allowed me to order from the Happy Hour menu. The manager honored the original price quoted, but it definitely tainted the experience. If I were to dine in, the only difference would be service - which is accounted for in tips. And, really, what difference does that even make when tips are requested for takeout as well? Beyond that, I arrived home to find that our rainbow roll was not drizzled with the traditional sauce. No sauce was provided on the side either. The sushi rice was dry and, without the sauce, the whole dish was extremely bland. There are so many more options for sushi in the valley. Why pay an elevated price for a subpar experience?
