Ranking The Absurd Amount Of Taquerias In Wynwood - Miami - The Infatuation
"The main problem with the tacos from Sr De Los Tacos is the tortillas. They’re underdone and a bit oily. You can overlook the tortilla shortcomings if you order the chorizo tacos, which are crispy, juicy, and very tasty. Otherwise, expect to be let down by an underseasoned shrimp taco or a thick ribeye that’s ruined by plops of too-sweet chipotle sauce." - mariana trabanino

But really, they’re just casual lunch spots that’ll do the trick in a pinch." - Mariana Trabanino
One of the best Al Pastor quesadillas I’ve ever had. The homemade corn tortillas were incredible, and the variety of sauces took it to the next level. The owner—or today’s server—was incredibly kind. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Miami.

I’ve been here 2 tñimes. Once at 2am and another time in the evening after a beach day. This place is amazing to get a bite to eat, whether it’s by yourself or with your family. I’ve had the steak burrito bowl, birria tacos, chicken quesadilla and a burrito and all these I can recommend 100%. The consistency and flavoring have always been spot on. If you think chipotle is good, then Sr de Los Tacos is 10x better.

Went here after a pool party and it literally brought me back to life everything was so good and flavorful. I had the birria bowl and elotes and my friend had the tacos which came with A LOT of guac if you're into that. Will definitely go again when I'm in wynwood 🙂↕️

Did a little taco and art adventure through Wynwood and started at this joint. By far Sh!ts all over the other spots! Tried the carne asada and the guys insisted we try the birria and kindly shouted us a taste. So authentic, fresh tortillas, birria wasn't so heavy and oily like most places, perfectly cooked asada and balanced well with the cilantro and onion. Sauces were on point too. Little out the tourist zone (but little do people know some of the best art is in the back streets around here).

tacos here weren't authentic. they are sort of fancy tacos with twist. I had pork belly, which was very sweet and over sauced. birria and ribeye were incredibly heavy. overall, it's okay but I won't return. BTW, it's quite pricy.

This taco spot is fantastic! The tortillas are fresh, the meat is flavorful, and the toppings are just right. The birria tacos were especially delicious—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The salsa had the perfect kick, and the service was quick and friendly. Chirle & Santiago attended us, and she was very nice, making the experience even better. If you’re craving authentic tacos, this place is a must-try!

Yelp
Big spacious venue. It seemed to be busy. Quality of the tacos were okay. I would say they were a bit overpriced for what it was.
They auto-charge 15% service charge on every order (which is fine I suppose), and then they give you another option to tip more (15-20%) without disclosing that there is an existing 15% service charge tacked onto there. It feels very switch and bait.

Yelp
We're in Miami for the weekend and decided to stop in here. I had the Birria taco and it was amazing! The restaurant is really cute, cozy wood booths with flower awnings. The menu was all in Spanish, so a little challenging but not an issue. There were two things that reduced one star. The chips and salsa - chips were very good and fresh, but the salsa was very underwhelming. The second thing was an automatic surcharge. There was no explanation for it. I

Yelp
Not sure what's up with the 2 star review below? I am as tough as they come when it comes to expectations. The restaurant has beautiful ambiance, clean, the service was excellent, and the food was really really good. I don't know where they source their tortillas, but they were not from Publix! Excellent corn tortillas! Check out my photos and see for yourself. Great lunch spot!

Yelp
This place is a cute new "double" concept restaurant. They have Tacos/Mexican on one side and Venezuelan food on the other side. We ended up trying the burger from the Mr. Cachapa side and the guacamole and tacos from the Mexican side. The guacamole was delicious. The service was quick and once you order at the front, you go and pick your seat. After that, there's no "real service". It's a serve yourself sort of situation. The price is a little higher than I'd like to pay at a taco/burger spot. The food doesn't feel gourmet enough to justify spending $50 on a burger, some tacos, and guacamole. But I am excited to try their arepas and empanadas soon.

Yelp
While out in wynwood I wanted something low key to eat. Couldn't decide what so decided to stop here which is a 2 restaurant in 1 with Mr Cachapa and Sr de los tacos. They do not sell any alcohol that I saw so just soda and juices.
For el Sr de los tacos we had the esquites which were super flavorful.
The birria tacos were pretty tasty and cheesy.
We also decided to go with the birria quesadillas which were huge and packed with so much flavor.
The service was ok, not great. You have to order at the counter and they bring you the food, however they don't tell you that a 18% service charge is added plus they ask for tip. So I left tip on top of the service charge and still had to get up to ask for to go's since the "server" never came to to check on us.
Overall the food was really good and I would go back.

Yelp
This place was recommended by one of my friends, which I'm goinghave a deep conversation with about my experience at this place. The person taking our order wasn't very helpful explaining the menu or the process for ordering. The presentation of the food was excellent but unfortunately the taste/flavor fell short. It was flavorless. This is a tourist trap. I found it extremely expensive, a 12oz can soda was$3.49. AND the automatic service charge was not warranted. I am not recommending this place.

Yelp
Wish I would have taken pics of the tacos. Giving them 5 stars mostly because I want to balance out the 2 star review which was totally not my experience, and I'm picky. I don't know how that person had an issue ordering. The ordering process was straightforward for me. Restaurant is clean and nice decor/vibe. I ordered Camarón and Carnitas tacos. Camarón came first. I wouldn't really recommend it. Was not bad, but not amazing. I was not expecting how good the Carnitas was. Super good. One of the best I've ever had. Would def recommend this place.

Yelp
Great food and friendly service! Everything tasted fresh. Especially the Birria taco.
