We stopped in here after a concert on the Emory University campus. The restaurant is less than a mile from campus. Though the restaurant fronts on Clifton Road, parking is in a garage off a street behind the restaurant and parallel to Clifton. The cluster of businesses / condos is in a self-contained development. The restaurant validates parking for an up-to-2-hour window.
When we arrived (around 6 p.m.) there were a few people on their covered patio, but no one else inside in the larger dining room. It was cooling down outside so we opted to sit inside. They seemed to be doing a decent take-out business, but we were the only table in the inside dining room.
I'll pause here to make it clear that I'm not a super-demanding diner. If I visit a restaurant and the place is swamped, I try to be extra patient with the servers and include a good tip for their extra effort. That said, when I'm at the only occupied table in your restaurant, there shouldn't be too much else to preoccupy the staff. I.e., if there is a choice between taking the food order or wrapping silverware sets for tomorrow, maybe the right choice is taking the order first. There didn't seem to be a shortage of staff, but service was nonetheless slow.
Once someone took our order, the appteizers appeared very quickly. It took somewhat longer for my drink order. The main dishes also came out fairly quickly. The food itself (an order of sushi and a plate of pad see ew) were both pretty good.
Maybe we just came by on an 'off' day. I chose this place to be different since we'd eaten at the nearby Thaicoon a few times before over the past several years. However, given the same choice again, I'll likely go back to Thaicoon.
