This place was popping, parking in the neighborhood took a few laps to secure. It was a busy Friday night and it took a minute to get a drink. We opted for the seltzers and IPA on draft. The patio can get busy but people accommodate and make room for each other. Only seemed to be one bathroom and it always had a line. A few vendors outside peddle their artistic creations so that's a bonus.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Issipi in St. Louis, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! The ambiance of the bar was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. A huge shoutout to bartender Tylr, who truly made the night unforgettable. His knowledge of the drink menu was impressive and he skillfully crafted the perfect cocktails tailored to my taste. Tylr was not only attentive but also incredibly personable, adding a special touch to the evening. The overall vibe, great drinks, and exceptional service made my visit to Issipi a five-star experience. I can't wait to return and try more of their amazing offerings! Highly recommended!

After moving out of St. Louis, I visit the city from time to time and love exploring new spots. My friend took me to ‘Ssipi for drinks, and I was impressed by how cute and well-managed it is! They have a great wine selection, and I really enjoyed their olives and bread. The servers were super friendly, and the patio was lovely. I’ll definitely keep coming back to ‘Ssipi!

As a wine lover, you occasionally find places that make your heart sing. This is one of them. Stop by, give yourself plenty of time, taste as much as you can. The selection is smart, interesting and quite delicious. And the staff knowledgeable and keen to share in his wonderful experience of just enjoying interesting things made from grapes. What a treat.

The outside area is the biggest winner in the bar second to the nice menu written in white on a huge mirror. Its chill , the lighting and music are lovely and low. The seating inside could be a bit more comfortable,but a small proce to pay for the experience. It is a wine bar, they have cocktails and beer in cans, fyi.

The bartender could have been an animatronic Chuck-E--Cheese character for as useful she was. Owners: if you build a level of pretense into your bar (like you have here) the bartender is 80% of the product. You've hired a soda-jerk to sling overpriced, pre-mixed drinks and parrot basic wine facts to patrons. Not impressed

Ssippi is an underrated gem. The first thing you notice about this bar is the decor and ambience. It's modern but cozy with mood lighting appropriate for a deep convo with friends (which is my primary activity here. Then, the service: the bartenders are kind, patient, and happy to help you pick out the right drink for you, which is important at a natural wine bar where the wines don't sound all that familiar. I also love that they have fun cocktails and wine spritzers for those that aren't feeling or aren't yet comfortable with natural wine spritzers. They don't serve meals, but there are a few filling bar snacks, including a Union Loafers loaf with a dip of your choice.

This is exactly the type of spot I want in my neighborhood. I've been to 'ssippi many times, both solo and with small groups, and have had nothing but great experiences. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and I really appreciate having the opportunity to taste different selections before making a choice. As natural wines continue to grow in popularity, 'ssippi is really a leader in the St. Louis scene.

The ambiance is here is chill and low key. Perfect for friends wanting a relaxed night out. They have a nice balance of drink options from wine to cocktails and beer. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Stopped by today to do a little work on the patio. I've never been but would definitely come back. Ordered my wine inside from the girl behind the bar, she was super sweet!

Really enjoyed 'ssippi. Went on a nice evening at sat in the back on the patio. They had a nice wine selection as well as some N/A options as well. Took a bit of time to order a drink at the bar, but everyone was friendly and moving as quickly as possible!

Great vibes. Nice music. Friendly bartenders. Ssippi is a small bar. They have cocktails, beer, and natural wine. We only had wine. They were very good, especially the reds. You can taste the wine before ordering a glass. I don't think we've had natural wine before. Only noticeable difference was one glass we had was the from the bottom of the bottle and there was a grainy residue left after we finished the glass. We had a good time. We'll be back.

We came here after a social event just looking to hang out. The vibe, the creative cocktails, we were in. I've heard the patio cool, but we didn't make it out there. I loved the space inside, there were things to look at all over and a great vibe for after dinner drinks. I tried the kalimotxo since we just got back from Spain. It was interesting, very sweet for me. Music was nice and not too loud, just enough to fill dead spaces in conversation.

Ssippi is my new bar obsession. Their selection of natural wines is amazing, the vibes are so cozy & cool, and the service is great. They have funkier stuff like pet nats & orange wines, but they also have classic options if you're not feeling adventurous. If natural wine sounds funky or intimidating, their staff will help you find one that you love! They also have cocktails, local beer, and some snacks. Their backyard patio has picnic tables & a fire pit for cozy nights. This is such a great addition to the StL wine scene!

Went here Friday afternoon with a friend. The place was really cute and quaint. Only complaint was that it was cold in there! The person at the bar was super helpful in helping me and my friend decide what we wanted to drink. I had 2 different glasses of red wine, wish I could remember what they were but both were good. Parking was pretty easy and this place was pretty easy to find! There is not a big menu but there are some snacks available if you need something to munch on with your drinks. Nothing big or too filling though! Def enjoyed my drink and the place, excited to go back!

Favorite STL wine bar. Great vibes, cute back patio, and amazing selection of wines. They often have little pop up events with local vendors and flash tattoos. Hoping to catch one before I leave St. Louis!

We went on a Wednesday night and their back patio was amazing! They had a DJ playing music and there were lots of people hanging out for the evening! Even our dog enjoyed the vibes! They have a great wine list, and we were not disappointed. The only thing was that service took a minute as there was only 1 bartender that night, but we did not mind the wait time.

Cool vibes and was super stoked to check out this place. Unfortunately didn't have a good experience with service. Met up with two friends who sat at the bar. I sat there for over 20 min without anyone approaching me for me to order a drink. My friends then finished their glass of wine and nobody approached them as well. Eventually had to be the ones to get their attention to get served. There was also no toilet paper in the bathroom. Hopefully next visit will be a better experience as I have no complaints about this bars products served.

Went here after an earlier engagement. I was worried that I was going to feel like a sore thumb because we walked in with some much younger people, but I didn't. The crowd is totally mixed. Everyone is welcome, and you really feel that. The bartenders were really laid back and always knew who was next to be served, which I liked a lot. The music was good. Not overpowering. I could hear my friend and I talking perfectly. The seating was comfy. We didn't go outside to the patio because we had a great seat inside, but... next time. We had parmesan crisps and the house white. The parmesan crisps were a little pricey because other than and 4 solid crisps, the rest were crumbs and difficult to eat. Speaking of price... they are cashless. A lot of places are going that route but I always liked typing with cash. Anywho, I also had a Kalimotxo because "why not." I didn't really like it but I was glad I tried it. Why 4? It's all about the crisps.

I had a wonderful time going around to different wine bars this week. This one definitely gave me chill, and cool vibes. The staff is really awesome beautiful art on the walls, and a beautiful list. Definitely worth the hype.

Awesome vibes here. The place was buzzing when we popped in for a drink on a Saturday afternoon. The space is absolutely adorable. The staff is all super nice and knowledgeable. They offer a great selection of wine, a short list of select beers, and few options of food to snack on. As we were out and about hopping place to place, I definitely did not spend as much time here as I'd have liked. Being right down the street from my GFs house we will most definitely be back frequently!

First time a Ssippi, came with a group of friends. The inside is a bit tight, but nice and has a very somber and chill ambiance to it. It gives you (at least in my opinion) a feel of an intimate setting for close friends to chat or a date night. The back patio is spacious with heaters and fire pit! Definitely appreciative on a cold, fall day. I'll definitely be back for a visit.

Fairly new Wine Bar on Cherokee which I would totally recommend. The staff was very sweet and handled all the questions I had. Their cocktails stiff and wine delicious. The vibes are very cozy and the aesthetic is gorgeous. Everything was very reasonably priced as well. Definitely check it out!

Great wine but staff was not very knowledgeable about their wines. Love the patio though and will be back despite that.

This place was beautifully chic and casual. A variety of different delicious wines and beers. Ample seating and picnic tables in the back. Overall such a fun and sexy spot! Will be returning when back in STL

My hubs and I went last night, and I'd highly recommend. It's a younger crowd (i.e., 20s and 30s folks), but even in our (VERY EARLY ) 40s, we felt totally at home. This was primarily due to the women behind the bar, Kathleen and Jordan. Greeted everyone with a smile, kind as the day is long, never once appearing overwhelmed or out of their element, and just damn good at what they do--these young women MADE the experience. The interior is adorable, full of red neon from the exterior sign, and the aesthetic and decor are gorgeous and very tastefully done. Even the bathroom was spotlessly clean and beautiful, despite a good crowd our back in their huge patio area. The wine and beer-on-tap assortment were quite good and very reasonably priced--Delirium Tremens on tap!--and the snacks were the most pleasant surprise. Get the Union Loafers bread, served warm with Partanna olive oil and balsamic vinegar. At $6, it was a bargain and just delightful. You gotta check this place out!

This place reminds me of a wine bar in NOLA. It's just missing some good live jazz music and maybe little food window? Prices are a little high for a bottle of wine but great patio. Music wasn't super loud. Went on a first date, my date kind of sucked. (Find out why in the comments) Would be great for a large group.

Great vibe, feels like you're visiting someone's home! There's a cute bar area and then a backyard with large tables and lights. Started out with a sparkling red and then moved to orange. orange wine surprisingly delicious; lots of tannins. Workers were knowledgeable about the variety of wines (eg: educated me about tannins). great patio.....gave me major swamp ass though (not their fault, was 100 degrees). WILL be back and WILL recommend

Yummy bread and great drinks! Bartender Mila is amazing! Mila gave me many drink recommendations with full transparency. It's rare to find a bartender that is that wonderful . She made my experience at 'ssippi a 10/10.

It was a snowy Friday evening and Shakhura had the mood set perfectly! I enjoyed the music, not too much also not too drab. The service was top tier! Kat guided me towards the vino verde and I've never been more happy with my selection. Definitely would recommend for any occasion.

Wow- doesn't begin to describe this new addition to the Cherokee St! The space is elegantly designed, and offers a carefully crafted selection of natural wines and local beers that elevate the flavor of every "Ssippi". The staff were kind and the environment laid back but vibrant. Looking forward to making nights here a regular thing.

Came here with a group while we were visiting STL. The owners/staff were super nice and gave great recommendations. The place is lovely inside and out (great patio). Definitely recommend spending some time in this lovely place.
