"6. On a separate note, we had damage to our hardwood floors as you were roller-skating on them."
Since you never bothered mentioning this at the time, I have no way of knowing if this is true or not, and again, your impulse is to make your client look bad for some reason rather than acknowledge that things were not presented or handled well. The floors were damaged before our event, and I'm sure have incurred more damage in the years since. High heels and handcart wheels damage wood floors more than gel indoor skate wheels, by the way, so perhaps you should ban those if you're concerned about damage to the floors.
"Jennifer, it sounds like our property was not the right fit for you, but it is an excellent fit for 95% of our clients."
And I am happy for those clients for whom this worked out, but we had the experience we had, and I have zero motivation to be disingenuous about it. It's been three years, I'm not getting anything back, and I'm not the one who stands to gain monetarily here.
"Please feel free to reach out directly if you would like to further discuss."
There really is nothing to discuss directly, any opportunity to have made things right is long gone, and the way we were treated made it clear that it wouldn't have been a priority anyway. My review was addressed to the public, not to you or Christine. There are good things about the property that I will remember positively and I'm sure people will continue to be attracted to, hopefully with a measure of caution.
