St Ann Wine Bar

This bar is beautiful, and the cocktails are delicious. The reason that it's 1 star instead of 5 is that I went on a busy night. They had an event going on. There was no reason the owner or manager wouldn't have known that it was busy. There was only one bartender, and wait times for drinks were abysmal. I didn't even think about ordering food because of the wait times for drinks. Once, while I was waiting for a drink, a person that I assume was the owner came over just to yell at her bar & waitstaff. Absolutely ridiculous behavior. If you own a business, you should show some appreciation when you put your employees in a horrible situation and they still try their best. Overall, seems like this bar may be run by a person with over the top expectations for her staff and a bad attitude. I could accept the wait times if I didn't see how people were treated here, but I'm honestly really glad I did. Will not be returning until they get the staff situation sorted.

The management is the reason for 3 stars instead of 5. We got to the bar at 5:00. We ordered the 2nd most expensive bottle of wine and ordered 3 happy hour apps. After 15 minutes we get the wine. Again, it’s maybe 2 tables of people. We get our 3rd appetizer over 60 minutes later. We ordered another bottle of wine, the most expensive, along with 3 more appetizers. The appetizers came out a little quicker. It took us 30 minutes for the check and to get the card back. It’s a Friday, there is a cover band and it got pretty crowded. My problem is, there were 2 people serving and one of the servers, our server, is now bartending! There were 2 other people when we got there, who I assumed were the owners. 2 people can not handle a Friday night crowd on their own. Service was sloooooow. Atmosphere and food were very good. I actually felt bad for the servers. Shame on the management!

A fantastic venue owned by fantastic people! Always a great time, great food, great drinks. A variety of live music acts that never disappoint. The staff is very friendly and eager to please. It's a great place for private parties with a separate room available for reservations. Check out their Facebook page as they have themed nights to fit your needs. A great place for adults to have a great time. I highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a night out on the weekend or an upscale dinner during the week.

Awesome place! Can be a bit crowded because it is a great place. The band was fantastic! Outside fans during the summer would be great for those that step outside to make or take a phone call or to smoke/vape.

New wine bar in Mandeville. Good selection and wine tastings. Service was friendly as were the patrons. Had a small plate to munch - food gets a thumbs up as well. Really enjoyed the ambiance. Great place to meet for a glass of wine and catch up or meet a new friend.

This wine bar is lively, music always good, food (small plates/ pimento cheese is yum & as is many other apps ) always delicious, service is always friendly... We always enjoy ourselves ! What more could you ask for !

Too loud, and very little in the food side. It is more like a local, loud music venue with some bar food for a drinking base, and many expensive wines. You cannot converse so be there for the music. Used to be a regular when it was a real restaurant.

We love St Ann and the staff!! The place is quite upscale, yet feels very relaxed. They have an amazing happy hour with martinis and appetizers! They are very welcoming and friendly!!

I've only been for group events, in the event room to the left when you first walk in. I'm not sure this is a place that I'd go to on my own. There's live music on the weekends, but the overall crowd feels very subdued. During the two group events I went to, the drink selection was well balanced, with multiple wine regions represented. The beer selection leaned towards the local breweries, which was a nice touch. The appetizers and small bites trays were good, but nothing was a standout. Overall, it's a nice venue for a small group get together or private event.

Great spot to check out music on a weekend or weekday. Lots of food items and appetizers to choose from. All of the small plates are amazing. Top Notch craft cocktails!

When walked in we were greeted and told to take a seat anywhere, as the band for the night was setting up. We sat down on one of the couches. We were waiting for service, but instead we were asked to move to a high top because they forgot to reserve a couch for a different party. When moving to a high top, another party had already taken in so we were moved to the back room, isolated from the rest of the bar. The waitress was very polite about it, but never came back to get our order. 20 minutes, moved seats, and no ordered taken after paying $20 cover. Disappointed.

Good wine list. We didn't try any of the mixed drinks but my wife and I ordered a glass of wine on a Thursday evening live music night. We've been here before on weekends and enjoyed ourselves. But the Thursday evening clientele was a contrast from the weekends. My wife described it as a sausage fest because it was probably a 5:1 male to female ratio of middle aged folks. Glancing at the people I realized that now that Ntinis Meat Market has closed, that crowd has migrated to St Anne's on Thursday nights. So divorcee ladies, stop back by, your sugar daddy awaits!

New Year's Eve night was wonderful. All the staff went over the top to accommodate everyone. Thank you so much for making the night one to remember.

Service was good, our server was attentive... The food not so great.. we got the small plates...the meatball tasted like the bagged ones from Sam's and the shrimp spread was ok but could have been better and more flavorful ..might try one more time..,

We went there last Friday night for a date night and I have to say it was a good time! Their wine and whiskey list is outstanding, me and the hubby share a charcuterie board, and live music set the night mood right!! Definitely coming back soon!!

Love this wine bar. Such a cozy place to gather with friends. They have small plates and appetizers, too. The service is great.

Really beautiful inside, delicious food, and obviously stellar drinks. Had wine and cocktails. Loved the creativity from their house cocktails, and my bartender, Jeff, was extremely kind and a true gift to the mixology craft and the service industry.

Nice upscale adult bar atmosphere. Met some girlfriends here on Saturday night and they also featured live music which is so appreciated in the Northshore! Everything about the place was what we were looking for. Our only suggestion would be to work on the food menu. The portion sizes were disappointing and wouldn't even put a dent in Tinkerbell's appetite. Now knowing this, I'd highly recommend this place to meet for drinks BEFORE going out to dinner or late night drinks after a big meal.

Excellent place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine, cocktail or beer. They have a perfect private room area (The Harvest Room) for small to medium size groups, as well as a great open area (similar to an upscale hotel lobby) to enjoying your drink with or without food alone or with friends. For those that enjoy the bar atmosphere, they have that too! We really had a great time on the patio recently when the weather was nice! So enjoyable, I wish I could pick it up and bring it to Dallas!

Steven G's post is spot on. Wish we would have found this spot months ago. Mandeville typically doesn't understand happy hour and a relaxing ambiance with great drink selections and tasty bites, but this place nails it. Brandon gave great service and the cheese board complimented our rioja crianza perfectly. This will be our first choice for relaxation after work. Kudos!

A great adult spot to relax and unwind. Kudos to the owners who I see are very hands on and make you feel welcomed every time we have been in. My favorite wine is the 2016 Southern Belle from Spain(great price for such a wine). If you haven't tried them out yet, what are you waiting for.

My favorite place to get a great glass of bourbon, appetizer and chat with great people. Absolutely love the gluten free crust cheese pizza with bacon!

Went here a couple of weeks ago. Great wine selection by the glass as well as novel cocktails. They also offer a small bar food menu. Next to the bar is and outdoor porch with a flat screen as well as darts. I will definitely go back.

What an amazing, cozy, upscale spot in Mandeville. A hidden gem. My husband and I are from Chicago and have a experienced some of the greatest restaurants and wine bars. We were very impressed by the ambiance, tapas and wine selection offered. Even more, we had amazing service. Two thumbs up for Sam, one of the owners son, who visited us at our table to elicit feedback on the wine, service and.....their music selection! He asked how we liked their music selection and what they could do to improve our experience. As Chicagoans who appreciate music, and even more so the culture of music here, to show a sincere interest in our feedback about the music may seem trivial to some, but was very well received by us. We will be back in a week with friends visiting Mandeville from Chicago for this amazing and quaint wine bar.
