St. Anselm Catholic Church

They are always on time and spiritually involved, and focused in the celebration of the day. Hence I am always happy going there to celebrate whenever invited by the Pastor. Thanks and may God bless you for asking.

I like this church but the fathers got moved. It was better with father Shelton and father Paul.

Went to a Christmas play in the auditorium.

Don't come here father fideis. It's a fraud he claims to be honest but yet he sign off on kids to miss classes for half of year for they're first communion just cause his grandmother works here. Once I confronted him about this with proff he try to blame other people. His cursing at our meeting I can't be believe he calls him self a father.

Very disappointed. People want to experience and praise God in His own home. Not to hear about political opinions of a priest during services. Opinions after service or during outside gatherings is fine. Feeling alienated due to political views of a priest is not Christ like.

Beautiful warm hospitable catholic community in Los Angeles. Visited recently with friends and enjoyed a warm welcome by a parishioner called Dustin. This gem of a parish is an oasis of Gods love in action .

The African parish priest at this church may need a crash course on being polite to his parishioners. I wanted to escort my daughter to the communion line so that she may receive communion being that she just made her first communion a week prior. I wanted to let the priest know this. I even brought her certificate. Why did he look dumbfounded??? I have to say, he was slightly rude. We didn't get a "oh, congratulations" or "wonderful." Just a serious look of confusion. Why? Funny how some of these priest can talk a whole lot righteous stuff during the homily, but when you have to ask a question or something impromptu occurs, you see their true rude, arrogant colors. Do better...

St anselms is a hidden treasure with many beautiful gems. The people young and old are the gems of this church. Praise the lord for Father OBrien. I hope and pray the Lord brings us together in love peace and pride. This is truly a beautiful church located in south central los angeles. Come to our church and worship with us we are kind friendly people. Amen, amen.

been a parishioner here at St.Anselm all of my life the only church ive ever belonged to in my 52 years of life! easy to get involved very welcoming and friendly congregation i have been a part of the confirmation program here for over 25 years. i feel blessed every Sunday to have such a loving and supportive church family! people come and go because life happens but when major things happen in their families trust me there is no place like home and they come home to open arms i love my parish community we are family!
