Saint Bibiana - Review - Santa Barbara - Santa Barbara - The Infatuation

"Saint Bibiana is a pizza shop right off State Street that’s a solid option for a quick slice or a sit-down meal over a whole pie. There’s only six pies to choose from, including a standard margherita and pepperoni, but the best of them is the lemon-mushroom pizza with beurre blanc, mozzarella, and lemon zest that gives it some oomph. Slices here arrive pretty lukewarm, so get a whole pie if you want it fresh from the oven. Also, there are a few arcade games in front if you fancy a match of Mortal Kombat II after dinner." - Sylvio Martins

Saint Bibiana is a great spot for a quick bite and some elevated comfort food in a cozy, modern setting. We stopped by and ordered the whole Lemon Mushroom Pizza 🍋🍄 — super unique and flavorful! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the citrus twist gave it a refreshing touch. That said, we felt the toppings were on the lighter side compared to the price. If you’re big on generous portions, just keep that in mind. ✨ The vibe is chill, service is friendly, and the quality of ingredients really stands out. A great place for a casual lunch or relaxed dinner that still feels a little upscale. If you’re searching for gourmet pizza or a trendy comfort food spot in Santa. Barbara, CA, Saint Bibiana is worth checking out.

This was our second time dining here, first time we ordered Cream of the Crop which is an unusual yet delicious pizza. This time we had the Lemon Mushroom pizza and garlic knots, both were delicious, you can tell they use good flour and fresh ingredients. This will be our go-to pizza place from now on. The only thing we didn't like was the glass of red wine I had which was so acidic even my boyfriend didn't want to drink it.

Google
As far as neopoliton pizza spots go in Santa Barbara this is definitely up there. They have a tight menu and the pies all look great. Pricing is definitely on the higher side but it is artisan pizza as other reviews have stated. I knocked a star off because I felt like one of my two pizzas was undercooked and the garlic knots were also undercooked.

Google
Best pizza in Santa Barbara. I inhaled the lemon mushroom before I thought to take a photo, and the sausage was superb. I’ve been here several times before, and everything I’ve had is so good!

Harsh Patel

Google
We ordered takeout and tried the veggie and sausage pizzas. Despite being takeout, both pizzas were flavorful and enjoyable. The pizzas were a bit firm, but that was likely because we waited about 30 minutes before eating. When we arrived for pickup, the long line made it clear this is a popular spot—and for good reason! Overall, a great place for pizza, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious options.

Google
I saw nearly 5 stars (4.9) and thought that's pretty impressive! I ate here, and instantly understood the rating!! When you eat somewhere and think to yourself "there is actually nothing I could do to this pizza to make it taste any better" I find that both satisfying and impressive!

Google
As always the best pizza in Santa Barbara. They’re almost always busy so leave ample time before you want it. It’s not the atmosphere of a typical pizza joint. Seems that most of their business is pickup & delivery. It’s well worth the wait though. Don’t miss the Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. Yum.

Google
Tried this little pizzeria just off state street and it did not disappoint. I don't know if I'll ever be able to rate all their pizza because I will be going back for the Detriot style pepperoni with sourdough beer crust every time. Don't forget an extra side of the amazing red sauce or green ranch for dipping.

Yelp
Good news and less-than-good news... this place has a kitchen that is putting out the MOST DELICIOUS PIZZA (?with the most phenomenal crust) IN SANTA BARBARA!!! However, when I discovered it on Yelp inno way did I think this was just a casual pizza slice place because the food has such stellar ingredients, for sure they could transform this "pizza joint screaming for a new vibe"into a beautiful dining spot with full service. Instead, it's woefully understaffed, and the woman in front is doing an amazing job, it's a wonder she doesn't quit on the spot, but she loves the place and is quite dedicated to it. But still it's hard to order from anyone who is multitasking like an octopus!!! The place to sit is in the tiny table outside but both times they were no chairs there so I had to move furniture so me and my guest could enjoy this wonderful pizza spot, a spot t that really doesn't look like ALL that much but it IS all that much! It's SUPERB!!! They should open up a kiosk at the San Ysidro Ranch, it's THAT good!!! Hey, a girl can dream.... No one expects to go to the BEST pizza spot in town and find video machines which are not only a waste, they take up space for customers and highlight what should really be highlighted at this place...the phenomenal pizza!!! The lemon mushroom ‍ pizza is next level phenomenal!! Same for the Margarita pizza!! When I came here during the day, it was sunny and delightful, but at night, it's sort of a comedy of errors, and that made me a little sad. No organization, out of many types of pizzas, etc! So...if you know of any hard-working people that are looking to work, this place is hiring and they don't want someone who's going to come and go. They want someone who's willing to be a team player. For now, the walk-in customer is secondary to the delivery orders, and that should not be the case. Looking forward to coming back here many times, but hoping that they will evolve into more than just a "slice joint " because what they are doing is better than all the rest. No doubt! I'd love to see them tackle a vegan pizza free of ANY kind of cheese, just tomato sauce and all kinds of colored olives!!! Bring it on! ‍‍‍ PS I met Eric Estrada's agent here, if it's good enough for the guy who manages the best looking guy on a motorcycle ever to be on television, it's good enough for you too!

Yelp
these pizzas were tasty! my favorite was the lemon mushroom we also got a side of roasted cauliflower without knowing it was tossed in a salad! It wasn't bad, the dressing was just a little bit too sour. the girl at the counter was friendly and service was great! the inside is cozy and super small. a very rustic feel too. i love it! luckily we came at an off time so we got a table to sit down at~ lemon mushroom: 9/10 pepperoni: 8/10 roasted cauliflower (salad?): 7/10

Yelp
What went well you ask? Everything! Start to finish Saint Bibiana for the win! We went with the pepperoni & added some garlic. The pie was perfect. Great sauce & the dough was light with a great crisp & char. The ingredients were fresh & flavorful & they have their dough game down! We also got the cauliflower salad which was great. To end the meal we finished off with one of their house made cookies, amazing. The owner served us our pie & her passion shined through in every way possible, especially in flavor! Very very happy with this experience & Santa Barbara is lucky to have a solid pie joint with both solid food & a great vibe to boot. Well done, thank you

Yelp
The pizza was bomb! Got a slice and took a pie to go. And the inside is cute and cozy. Will come back again :)

Yelp
My new favorite place! Great energy, sweet people and very very tasty pizzas! Solid pies!

Yelp
Wowowow, one of the best pizzas I've had in a while! My boyfriend and I shared The Whole Shabang and we were both quite full after finishing it. The toppings were perfect, the sauce flavorful, and the crust was so so good. Such good chew and you can tell lots of love went into the pizza. The only thing that could make this place better is if they had more seating- it's first come first serve and they've got about 5 tables of 4-6 chairs and some bar seating by the window. Not ideal, so we waited a bit for seats but luckily had a table (shared with another couple) by the time our pizza came out. The arcade games are fun (and free!!) so that's nice too, just a little cramped for space. I wanna come back and try their detroit style pizza!

Yelp
Salad was awesome 5/5 The cheese less pie was good too 4/5 We came here on a rainy day. The service was great and so was the food.

Yelp
We have loved the pizza and have recommended it to so many people, but sadly, we can't anymore. The pizza we had last night was burnt and tasteless. I am so sad!!

Yelp
I've been here twice, the first time I had a simple plain, pizza, can't remember if it was a margarita, or what, but it was fantastic, one of those pizzas that Dave Portnoy would give an 81 on any day. My second visit was not great, second time I added a bunch of stuff onto the pizza, I got "the whole shabang" and I added even more on top of that. Do not recommend- these pizzas are great, when there's not a lot of toppings on them. If you add too many toppings they lose their crisp and gain too much flop. I called ahead and ordered for pickup. Easy. The place is very small in person. A literal hole in the wall type of place. Next door to wildcat, I'm sure they do great "by the slice" business at night but I don't know anything about that.
google avatar

Yelp
The pizza was very good. I am so glad we decided to try the pizza here. The pizza is made once it is ordered from scratch. The service was good. The ambiance is kind of minimal but with some nice touches. I think the restaurant is small so this is probably a better place to go to during the week than on the weekend.
google avatar

Mark K.

Yelp
The pizza is superb. I had the cream of the crop pizza. Delicious crust cooked perfectly. The non traditional toppings complement each other very well. My only gripe is the long wait. I was told 30-35 minutes. It took over 45. They need to find a way to more efficiently handle prep to be able to make more pies faster. Order well in advance of when you want it.
google avatar

Darin J. B.

Yelp
The pizza was very good and we will return. I am not a big fan of the granular (what I assume is corn-based) bottom of the crust but the flavor was very good and the presentation was excellent as it's pizza and who doesn't love a good pie. Service was good and the ambience was okay. In all fairness they had some refrigerator machine that was out of commission and taped up in the front entrance ( a bit of an eye sore at the time) and that may have been removed or repaired since we last dined in. A casual great pizza place. I recommend this place for anyone wanting a great pizza.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and ordered 2 pizzas for 3 people and had plenty left over. The place itself is small and cute, and the pizza is decent. The lemon mushroom pizza was particularly interesting since I haven't had anything like it before. Overall I enjoyed the place but nothing particularly stood out which is why I'm giving it a 4 star review. Solid place if you're craving pizza, plus the service is nice!

Yelp
Ordered the sausage pizza pretty close to close. Very cute little quaint spot for some high quality pizza options. Staff was friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed their little arcade game area while waiting for our to go pizza. Bonus points for the free games! Menu is simple and to the point but has some great options. The smell alone is just incredible! The pizza was flavorful, thin crust, and just the perfect late night meal that we contemplated coming back again the next day. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Finally tried Saint Bibianna. Have heard some good things about the pizza. We ordered on line and ordered was ready at time specified, stars for that part of experience. My husband is a whole Shabang type pizza person and was looking forward to trying their pizza. Since we had a group of 8 people to feed we ordered 4 pizzas The whole Shabang Lemon mushroom Veggie Pizza Pie And Pan pepperoni pizza Detroit Style For a grand total of ~$120 For this price we would expect exceptional and wow to the palette, but that is not what we experienced. The crust is good but quite chewy, toppings a little sparse, not near the toppings as the pictures, especially on the whole Shabang pizza and the amount of mushrooms on the lemon mushroom. I regret not taking pictures but everyone started digging in right away:). They were hungry. But interesting enough there was enough pizza left to make up one and a half pizzas. The pizza that was almost all gone was the pepperoni and that actually was the only one with plenty of toppings. I did enjoy the flavor of the lemon mushroom but definitely needed more mushrooms. The fresh garlic helped with the veggie pizza but again it lacked other ingredients. Cannot recommend going out of your way to pay premium for a so so pizza.

Patrick M.

Yelp
We love this pizza, we eat almost every week. It is the perfect solution to both a burnt out parent who needs something to feed the family and a treat for your spouse who is burnt out and needs to eat now. The pepperoni is outstanding, the lemon mushroom will change your life and the owner is incredibly cool.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and ordered by the slice. It's a tiny place with no where to sit outside. There are not many options by the slice, even though "By the slice" is what is advertised on the street corner. You get two choices: sausage or pepperoni. I didn't want to order an entire pizza so I ordered the last sausage slice, since I hate pepperoni. It took about 10 minutes to heat up the slices. My only complaint is that the employees look and behave like they are unhappy - maybe because it's a cramped place to work. They were not happy toward the customers in any way. The pizza itself was good and the crust is addicting...but you must eat it hot because as time went on, and the pizza cooled, the crust hardened and didn't have that sweet flavorful taste anymore. Overall, I'm glad I came here to check it out. Is the pizza worth the hype? YES it is. But next time, I'm ordering the Hawaiian.

Yelp
Downtown pizza satisfaction! I was craving a quality pizza but did not want to travel down to Montecito. I decided to give this place a try! I am glad I did. The crust, the quality of the ingredients, the flavor... taste buds are in heaven. We ordered the lemon mushroom for pick up via phone. The order was ready within a reasonable amount of time. The pizza is enough to feed two people three in some instance. The lemon mushroom is vegetarian. The amount of the toppings is just right. The toppings include garlic, basil, mushrooms and lemon. The pizza is not greasy and doesn't feel heavy after eating. I will definitely be going back to try their other pies. They have ranch but it's green (surpiros The inside is narrow but there is enough seating. Employees were very nice and informative.

Yelp
First time staying in Santa Barbara. It's so overwhelming coming to a town that I know nothing at all about. Thank goodness for Yelp! I honestly couldn't believer the solid 5 star overal rating...how often do you see that!??! I was definitely in the mood for pizza so decided to try it. it was myself, husband and 2 teen's. it was a decently short walk from our hotel (we were in lower state street). very casual atomosphere with about 5 indoor tables and 2 outdoor tables. we sat inside. we opted to order two pizza's from their speciality menu - Cream of the Crop - The whole Shebang the kids didn't seem enthused with the idea of lemon and squash on their pizza...but i wanted us to eat the pizza that they seem to be known for (based on the yelp reviews). we all LOVED both pizza's. the cream of the crop was such an amazing surprise! while we waited for our order, they brought us out some complimentary garlic knotts! wow! service was great place was clean. it was a hot day and it wasn't too hot inside (a little more AC would have been nice). i will 100% definitely come back. in fact we though about returnign the next day but they were closed.

Yelp
We've ordered take out here twice now. It's good pizza. Online ordering is quick and simple with every topping/combination available. orders take about 45minutes. Base pizzas are Neapolitan style, with both familiar topping combinations (think Hawaiian, pepperoni) and more novel ones (white sauce with lemon and mushrooms). They also have salads and deep dish, that I haven't tried, and pizza by the slice. Parking for pickup orders on Ortega street is ok but not great. There is a loading zone, but it gets filled up. The inside is quite small, bright and fun, with a few indoor and outdoor tables for dining in. Service is very friendly, efficient and competent. Now for the pizza! The crust is perfection, very thin and bubbly, crisp on the edges with a chewy center. You will get char spots here and there, indicative of a very hot oven, which I love. The cheese on top is light. The pepperoni is the small cups type, it's good but there's a bit too much on the pizza for our taste. The sausage pizza has a better balance of meat and toppings, as does the Hawaiian and Margherita, with nice touches of huge fresh basil leaves. Everything is of the highest quality. What needs adjusting for us is the red sauce - it's very thick, tangy and a bit overpowering, more like tomato paste. On a light, Neapolitan style pizza, I would expect a simple, thin crushed tomato sauce with salt and a few seasonings. I honestly think it would make for a better balanced pizza. At a price point of $23 - $27 a pie, we need perfection. St. Bs is good, try it for yourself, see what you think. We'll be back when the mood strikes.

Yelp
We found this place on Yelp and has high expectations but the pizza was not as good as i thought and the roasted cauliflowers were also just ok...
google avatar

Nanette H.

Yelp
First time here and so impressed!! Ordered a margarita pizza and it was perfectly cooked, which means you could pick up a slice and the cheese didn't slide off this thin crust pizza. I also loved the chewiness and flavor of the outer edge. I noticed they use great products too, check out the photo! They also served some awesome garlic pizza dough knots with the pizza. And yes, we ate them too! Sooooo good! We also ordered a roasted cauliflower and arugula salad to share. It took awhile for it to be served because they actually roast the cauliflower to order. We are talking fresh! I was a bit nervous ordering this salad because lately it seems arugula has become so dry and lacks flavor, but I was so happy when it arrived because this was tender leaves of arugula bought from local farmers. I would definitely order this salad again!! Our dinner of a pizza and salad easily fed two of us. No room for dessert, but I noticed some fresh baked cookies at the counter. One drawback for date night is that there is no real ambiance. Ordering is done at the counter and there are half dozen or so tables to sit at. Nothing fancy. I also noticed a fair amount of people picking up pizzas to go as well, but I say it's always better to eat a pizza fresh from the oven if possible!! Staff were friendly and provided great communication when our salad was taking awhile. I'm ready to go back!! Hope you go too and support our local businesses.

Yelp
Saint Bibiana was a 'virgin martyr" and a Saint of the early Church. "It is said her father was beaten and exiled, where he died of his wounds. Her mother was beheaded, and she and her sister were left to die in their home with no means to survive." I would love to write that she is the patron Saint of Pizza but there is no such connection to baked flatbread and Bibiana that i could find. But be that as it may: this pizza joint in the Paseo Nuevo area: very similar to places in Echo Park LA is producing first rate, Neapolitan style pizzas, The storefront is played way on the downlow with a mere small sign with St B and a few tables on the inside and a patented SB cupola seating area on the outside. Upon first entering i was put off a little as there was a wait to be recognized as a customer and to be waited on. Then Michello appeared offering suggestions and answering my questions with a smile. As usual it is the crust and dough that is a primary issue with me. The crust is an old school Sicilian style dough: yeasty and crusty with a beautiful voluptuous bake with enough salt to give the whole Pie a lift out of the ordinary.. The sauce and cheese is in the background yet supportive of the huge amount of mini pepperoni which dot the top of the pizza. Also: one problem is the box in which we took the pizza home. I do not know the bio-metrics of pizza boxes and what makes it keep the pizza at least warm on a drive of about 10 blocks but the one that St B's uses is not. The pizza was cool when we got home in a straight away drive to home. So, at this point: either eat in house or have your oven ready to give the pizza a little boost of heat when you get it home. St B's: this needs to be fixed. As it is your take away box is merely made of light cardboard and does not function properly. Overall if you are afraid of burned spots on a pizza crust you should probably avoid St Bibs. If not, St Bibiana's is serving up a primo pizza. These are also beer and bottles and glasses of wine. Parking is on the street. I will be back. cheers!

Debbie G.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and cute place. It was so cute to see the young boys helping out. Pizza was hot and ready when we came to pick it up. Friendly people that helped.

Scott R.

Yelp
We have recommended St Bibiana to many friends. I just looked and realized I gave them a 5 star review a year ago. We just ordered again tonight, the crust was poor (some burnt) and no where near the quality of a year ago. Flavor was ok - but not great. Sales is still good. Long wait - which means others are ordering too - but very disappointed. Need to find another pizza place.
google avatar

Kelli J.

Yelp
It was just ok. Ordered a couple of slices and they weren't that warm. Thought the cookie would be warm, but it wasn't. Not sure I'd go back with so many other choices in town. Maybe their whole cooked to order pies are better.
google avatar

Derek G.

Yelp
Top three pizza in all of California. The lemon mushroom is phenomenal! Chocolate chip cookie is delicious too. Right off state street. Best pizza in SB hands down!
google avatar

Selene S.

Yelp
Highly recommend! Chill spot with video games to entertain while you wait for your delicious pizza! Friendly service. A lot of regulars which is always a good sign.

Yelp
I found my new local favorite! Just walk in and order a pizza and salad, sit down and relax, and enjoy the best food brought to you with kindness and a smile. Our group came in on a chilly evening and spotted the best looking salad. We didn't think twice and ordered it with no regrets. Out came an arugula and cauliflower salad with a yogurt dressing enjoyed in a cozy wood bench seat. We then had two pizzas. One was the sausage, whose ingredients were fresh and every bite flavorful. The lemon mushroom pizza was my favorite, especially dipped in ranch. I never would have thought to use lemon on pizza and now I can't wait to try it again.
google avatar

Janit V.

Yelp
Let me preface by saying I'm a sick human being who does not really enjoy pizza. I'll eat it, but you'll never catch me going out of my way for it. But this pizza is a different story. I would actively choose to come here next time and that speaks volumes about how good it is. While some may argue that the menu is somewhat limited, I think that's for a reason and to really execute their pizzas well. We ordered the margherita and whole shebang. The pizzas are made to order so they come out fresh and hot on a thin crust. While the margherita was simple but delicious, the whole shebang offered a mixed sauce (red and white) and a variety of toppings ranging from different cheeses, meats and vegetables that made for a unique blend of flavor profiles. The pizzas are also really sizable. For our group of 5, we were able to share two pizzas and a bottle of wine under $100.
google avatar

Shelby F.

Yelp
This was honestly some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life! My mom and I shared The Cream of the Crop pizza and the Roasted Cauliflower (which was more like a warm salad). It was plenty enough food for 2 people (and I eat a looot) and we ended up taking a few slices and half the salad home because it was so filling. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the cauliflower was to die for. Both had super complex flavors with the taste of lemon coming through in both. You could also tell they use really fresh ingredients. The food was so good we ate it the next cold (since we were traveling and didn't have any way of heating it up) and it was still amazing. The staff was also super sweet so that was another plus. We are definitely stopping by again the next time we're in Santa Barbara
google avatar

Daryl D.

Yelp
Our order took a while but they said it was because they burnt the pizza so they had to make a new one. The pizza was good. And I love the dried citrus decorations.
google avatar

Mary S.

Yelp
So I'm going to be completely honest after reading these reviews, I cannot say this was the best pizza I have ever eaten. I enjoyed the pizza. In terms of the quality of the pizza, there are no complaints. However, it was not worth the price we paid for. Yes, we had add-ons, but I do not understand how pizza and drinks cost so much. The pizza was just good, that's all. It is without a doubt the most expensive pizza I have ever had. I recommend if you intend on trying this place , maybe just buy a slice.
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Great pizza! We grabbed a few slices to eat by the beach and the pizzas did not disappoint. We got 1 slice of margherita, 1 slice of pepperoni, & 2 slices of sausage. All were amazing & I can't find any faults. The dough was yummy, baked to perfection, tomato sauce was tangy but not too tangy, cheese was nice and light. Sausage was definitely our favorite.
google avatar

Lily Z.

Yelp
Cindy Black, the former owner of the Blue Owl makes fantastic pizzas at Saint Bibiana, which has Bettina quality pizza without having to drive to Montecito or make a reservation a week ahead. The whole shebang and the sausage thin crust were delicious, special love to the soft roasted whole cloves of garlic. The Detroit pizza was also good, but a little too salty for me. Don't miss the brown butter sea salt chocolate chip cookies. Those big cookies were baked with high quality chocolate chunks and still retained a melty texture at room temperature.
google avatar

Andy H.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best slice of pizza I've had since I was in NYC at Joe's. It's not quite a NY slice-type of pizza but if you are looking for fresh ingredients, a solid, solid crust, and a well put together slice - I'm not sure you're going to find a better one in SB county. The staff are great and they even have a few 80s arcade games - Dig Dug, Ms Pac Man - to play for FREE while you wait!

Addi W.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town, first time getting pizza from here. WOW it was really good. Got 2 pies, pepperoni & sausage with other goodies. Really liked them both, great crust! Also ordered salads. I Love, Love, Loved the Cauliflower salad! Best salad ever!! So delicious can't wait to go back again.
google avatar

Shelly C.

Yelp
The ambiance is cold and not very nice. It feels cold in winter, take a coat and keep it on.
google avatar

Brad L.

Yelp
10/10 incredible! My girlfriend and I both agree the pepperoni pizza had to be one of the best we've had in our lives. Friendly staff, great ambiance, delicious pizza. Definitely coming back next time I'm in SB.

Sia M.

Yelp
Hands down best pizza in all of Santa Barbara. Someone finally got it! The balance of the sauce, crust and cheese. I'm an east coast pizza snob, both NY and Boston. Joe's on carmine and 6th in NY and Reginas in the North End of Boston are my pizza places and no other pizza in Santa Barbara does it for me. So i'm absolutely elated because FINALLY! Real pizza. You can also just get a slice! Amen! I also love the atmosphere. Friendly comfy and the woman serving the pizza is down to earth and lovely. A great pizza joint! The real thing.

Yelp
Man this pizza was delish!!!! We were so excited to try this spot as we love Blue Owl (Chef Cindy Black started both). We got the pepperoni and sausage for pick up and were not disappointed. The pepperoni has a nice little kick to it, but not too much to deter our kids from going back for seconds and thirds. Our three year old just kept murmuring "this is so good" as she ate. The crust is delish, perfectly crispy with good thickness, quality ingredients, can't wait to try more. Highly recommend! Price was a bit more than expected for the size of to-go pizza, but delicious and with quality materials. Also allow time for your to-go order...maybe 30-40 minutes. But online ordering was easy and convenient!

S R.

Yelp
A solid first experience! We went with the popular Lemon Mushroom, it was delicious. Crust was perfect. Ready right on time.

A A.

Yelp
Their pizza dough used to be better. The wait time was also better in the past. They had more people working and the turn around was reasonable.

Yelp
Among all the competitive pizza spots in the area Saint Biniana stands out. Great pizza and service recommend if you're in the area getting a whole pizza or pizza by the slice.

Chris J.

Yelp
Pizza was great taste like revolver pizza. I've always wanted to try this spot and finally did and was not disappointed

Halie K.

Yelp
We went here for dinner last night and it was phenomenal. The four of us loved the pizza here. The staff were amazing and the pizza was so good. They do pizza by the slice or made to order whole pizzas. I'd suggest you try the sausage. We are in town for the week and will be back before we leave town. This is a must try. It is a small location with a handful of tables.

Yelp
We always go to another place in Montecito when we visit the area, but it's hard to get in. St. Bibiana was recommended by a local friend. I will only ever come here for pizza from now on. I may even drive up from LA just for a bite of that delicious crust. My husband and I are both gluten averse but neither of us reacted. I wonder if they use flour from another country or if it's just their fermenting process? The lemon mushroom pizza was the best I've ever had. Who dreams up this stuff? I understand they only serve a few types of pizzas, and they change the menu often. I can't wait to try other creations. The ambiance is what Grandma Lottie would have called "a joint" no fancy tables, servers, or prices. You order at the counter and they bring the heavenly stuff to your table. The people are very nice and helpful. They only had a few bottles of wine to chose from and I will bring my own next time. And the next time. And the next. I'm a believer in St. Bibiana's.

Yelp
Decided to come here on our trip back from Solvang and it caught my eye because of the name, little did I know that was the best decision I was going to make that day. This was the best pizza i've ever had, I can't eat regular pizza now without comparing it to this place. It was so good that even after I was full I kept eating it cause it was amazing. I'd willingly drive 2 hours to come get this pizza. The service was great too! everyone was very kind, the people next to us even gave us a slice of their pizza to try because they were also in awe... The vibes were great also, i loved the minimalist look and the logo is gorgeous. Overall love this place 10/10.
