Austin Brewery St. Elmo Brewing Co. Opens New Brewery in Northeast Austin | Eater Austin

"Opening Saturday, September 14 at 8110 Springdale Road in the Walnut Bend area of northeast Austin, this much larger second brewery from founder Bryan Winslow combines expanded production capacity with visitor-focused amenities. It will pour the regular lineup — including the kolsch Carl — on tap and in cans to-go, plus an on-site-exclusive hazy IPA called Zero; non-beer options include Texas wines and ciders, frozen cocktails, nonalcoholic Hop Water!, and coffee from nearby Spokesman. Food trucks slated for the site include fried-chicken-sandwich spot Spicy Boys and taco spot Pueblo Viejo. The venue offers family-friendly indoor seating with glass doors into the brewhouse, a pet-friendly outdoor area with a dedicated order window, and a children’s play area built by CoXist Studios; the entire space was designed by OPA Design and features a mural by Emily Eisenhart. It will begin with limited hours before regular full hours start Tuesday, September 17 (8 a.m.–10 p.m. Sun–Wed, 8 a.m.–11 p.m. Thu–Sat) and will host an opening party on October 5 from noon–9 p.m. with DJs and the official release of Zero." - Nadia Chaudhury

South Austin Brewery St. Elmo Is Opening in Northeast Austin in Spring 2024 | Eater Austin

"Planning to open a larger second brewery and tasting room in Northeast Austin at 8110 Springdale Road in spring 2024, this expansion will let the team continue brewing its classic beers—most notably the Carl Kölsch—while adding new recipes and expanding distribution across Texas. The site will feature a tasting room and beer garden expected to offer 20–30 taps with weekly specials, an all-day coffee program supplied by Spokesman Coffee, and space for a couple of food trucks including the Spicy Boys hot chicken trailer that also appears at the original location. Owner Bryan Winslow, an Austin Beerworks alumnus who opened the original operation in 2016 with Tim Bullock, spent about three years searching for a second site; the new location sits a short distance from the second Austin Beerworks on Springdale Road." - Erin Russell

An awesome brewery in town. They offer variety of hand crafted beers. The Carl and Afterglow are the best, not full body but can taste the sweetness of wheat. High recommended. But their cocktail is weak, tastes like they are pre-made, avoid it. The trailer food is good , it is pets and kids friendly. Enjoy a great night in St Elmo!

Very clean location and brewery! There’s plenty of seating inside and outside and parking shouldn’t be a challenge. Plenty of non alcoholic drinks as well. For food there are two food trucks serving tacos and chicken sandwiches. Pro Tip: On Sundays from 11-2 pm there’s live jazz. Will definitely be coming back. 8/10 Beers 🍻

Very spacious, new, and nice! Austin was the beer tender who helped us—very good service. I tried the Roxanne sour and then the Sparky cream ale. Food trucks are top tier. Everything was delicious! We even bought some cans to-go. We were very impressed with this place and will be back

We love our neighborhood st Elmo! We come here pretty frequently since it opened. Great location with tons of parking, plenty of space to sit with friends and family (and your dog) ❤️ We have come for different events, like Oktoberfest, and just to stop in after work to get a beer and get something to eat from Spicy Boys, or on a Sunday morning to have a chill breakfast from the Pueblo viejo truck and get coffee from inside! It’s really become a staple in our neighborhood for us ❤️ ☕️ 🍻

Went to check out clean comedy and had a great time! Great drink selection for those of us who prefer non-alcoholic beverages. Great food truck selections also!

Nice to have a St. Elmo Brewing close to where I live. The other location is in the St. Elmo district in South Austin, which is a bit of a trek. This location has plenty of outdoor seating (along with a spicy bois fried chicken truck!) and indoor seating if it's too hot or cold outside. It also looks like the brewing facility is here so you can see all the fun brewing equipment on display. Parking lot available

Brewery #9 of Part 2 of my Austin brewing visit. St. Elmo Brewing Company is the place to be! This spot is packed, and for good reason—great beer diversity, a lively atmosphere, and solid coffee and food truck options to round it all out. Whether you’re here for the beer, the buzz of the crowd, or just a good time, St. Elmo delivers. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Austin!

Cool, improved new spot for St. Elmo - much better suited to families, with more parking, more seating, and a play area. The play area is just a bunch of high-density plastic frames, but the kids love climbing all over them. Wide range of beers, with a walk-up window right next to the kids area. Couple permanent food trucks are a fair value. Only warning: events get packed, kinda crazy.
