St. Elmo's Coffee Pub

Just found my new favorite spot! The sandwich was heavenly, and I’m still thinking about it days later! Smart layout with plenty of outlets to get some work done.

I love the coffee and pastry options, location, amount of seating inside and out, dog bowls, and service! The execution of drinks is hit or miss and the pastries are also a gamble to be yummy or stale. Today was amazing! And St Elmo’s is overall wonderful!

St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub is a neighborhood gem! The coffee here is consistently great, and the mocha is definitely my favorite—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and their service adds to the warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for a quick cup or staying to work or chat, it’s a cozy spot that truly feels like part of the community. Highly recommend!

Watch this guy prepare your drink. I ordered tea, and while he was making it, he dropped the teabag on the floor, then tried to use it anyway, thinking I didn’t see. When I told him I saw what happened, he finally threw it away and started over. It takes less than two seconds to grab a new teabag. Imagine if I hadn’t been standing where I could see, I would’ve ended up drinking it. That’s unsanitary and unacceptable. Please teach your barista basic hygiene standards.

Ordered a matcha latte but asked the barista to make it like their fall special “toasted marshmallow latte” (use matcha, instead of espresso). Maybe it was supposed to look and taste this way due to the way I ordered it but it really just tasted like milk a hint of matcha. I also did not enjoy the cinnamon bun. Very good and quick service though.

Came here for the first time this week and had a great experience. The line moved quickly and the staff is super friendly. My friend and I both got a cappuccino and it was delicious. Lots of people inside but, it wasn’t too loud and there’s a good amount of outdoor seating as well. Very nice selection of sweets that I’ll definitely be back to try.

Great little coffee shop in Del Ray. Plenty of seating, both indoors and outside in a really cute little part of town. Prices are reasonable, the coffee is quite good, and the service is always attentive. Parking is on the street, so it can be a bit hard to find close parking, particularly when it gets busy. The same can be said for seating. This is a popular work and hang out location, so it can be difficult to get a good seat at peak hours.
