Delicious food, everything we ordered was amazing flavor, the service was impeccable, super friendly staff, I would come back anytime!

Enjoyed attentive service and fresh, flavorful salads while dining outdoors.

It's just bad. Asked for a medium burger, got an extremely well done one. The place was half empty and yet had to wait unreasonably long. On top of that i got a mild food poisoning from this burger.

What a gem in a small town St.Helena north of Napa! We had the best salad (avocado salad, sounds “boring” but the baby salad and the dressing were perfect and they didn’t those cheap zero nutrition Romaine/water lettuce), with beautiful dish presentation. Chicken & steak fajitas was great too though they used the worthless lettuce salad on the salad and cheap fatty dressing - should be better for the price of that dish. Also the corn taco should be replaced with regular taco bread. Most friendly and attentive server n bus lady.

We were in downtown st helena and we found this Mexican Italian fusion restaurant. That was perfect for our group of 4 adults and three kids. Loved the gelato con churros, the classic burger, the chicken alfresco and the combo enchiladas

The service was a little slow at first, but the restaurant was busy and they seemed understaffed. With that being said, the guacamole and Alfredo were delicious. Their fries are nice and crispy as well.

Went up to see Mike at the Harley place to show him the Spitfire propeller I got from Devonshire Dan, but his shop was closed so I decided to have lunch at the St Helena Bistro Man-O-Man was it good! 5 stars all the way ☆☆☆☆☆

Lovely place, right in the middle of St Helena. I came here for dessert and loved it. I ordered the churros with Gelato and it was delicious. The order came right away and the gentleman that was helping me was very nice. I highly recommend it.

My mom and daughter said this place had the best shrimp they've ever tasted. My mom also really enjoyed the salmon. Kids pasta seems like it's just jar pasta sauce on top of noodles. They have outdoor seating which is nice but no wine. You can drop by next door though for happy hour or a coffee. Good for a quick and casual lunch and wasn't crowded. Service was okay, a bit slow.

There weren't many restaurants open between lunch and dinner on a Sunday so we came here. Overall everything was ok, but nothing spectacular. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and is pleasant. Service was friendly, attentive, and food came quickly. The lamb ragu had good flavor, but I would have preferred the sauce be thicker. The fish tacos tasted ok, but the texture of the fish was off, almost hollow and slightly gray in color.

We eat here at least once a week. The food is always delicious and fresh.I love the Pastas. My wife likes the salads and the Taco salad. Service is always good, as the owner (Israel)is the main person serving. The best thing apart from the food is that there is no Corkage. So bring a bottle from a winery you visited.

If there was a spot 0 stars, this place would have it. Not only did they serve two other parties before they got to our table and our food came out. It took over forty minutes. The other tables had finished eating and left before we got our main course. I explained to the server that this was an exceptional amount of time to wait for food. He was sarcastic and disrespectful.I will never go there again.

A small little viby bistro on Main Street in St Helena is worth a stop. The restaurant is clean and tidy with chill decor. Tables with tablecloth and proper napkins gives this restaurant an upscale feel. The service is quick and friendly. The menu is a nice size and the wine list is as well. The menu confused me a bit with the choices of ravioli, fish and chips, a burger and tacos in the same menu but it kinda worked. The food came out quiclkly and hot. The burger was noshed down quickly as was the fish and chips. The artichoke was a bit wet even though it was grilled. The pumpkin ravioli was tasty but a bit too sweet. The wines we chose were good quality and went well with the food. All in all a good experience. Caution: parking is not that easy to find and you may have to walk a bit.

Been here so many times, Israel is on his 19th year. Delicious eggplant Parmesan again. New stuff _ hot fajitas, sizzling!

Great food! Especially the salmon with the Caesar salad. Great service and would go again when I am back in the area.

We stopped by to have lunch here after a morning of wine tasting on a Wednesday . We were seated immediately as there were a lot of open tables to choose from inside or outside . We tried the burger w/fries , salad with a chicken tostada shell and salad with salmon. The tostada salad was amazing!! And highly recommend as it was light and delicious . It was a very large tostada salad and was unable to finish it all great portions! My husband tried the burger he said it was okay the sauce was overpowering the burger . And lastly the salad with salmon was also a hit! I highly recommend stopping here for lunch in St Helena as it is very close to nearby wineries . The service was excellent we were able to order and eat within the hour which was great for our schedule ! The only issue might be finding parking as there is not parking available and will have to look for parking on the street .

Great find on our way back from wine tasting. Cute little restaurant with patio & they could seat a party of 4 quickly. Food was good, service was wonderful, some nice wine choices & clean restroom. My lettuce wrapped hamburger was made was fresh crisp lettuce & you couldn't go wrong with the burger & thin crisp hot fries. My friend had the mole chicken enchiladas & she loved them. She is kind of picky about the mole sauce & really liked theirs. Worth a stop if you're headed down Main Street.

I had the pumpkin ravioli. It was fresh and homemade, excellent. My husband had the combo fajitas. Also very good. We'll be back

Today I finally had the pleasure to try this restaurant! It did NOT disappoint! Cute little restaurant on Main st in St Helena with a great little patio for outside dining. I ordered the chicken tacos with salsa verde & an Avocado salad. The avocado salad was bright, tasty & beautiful. The tacos were out of this world! Fresh, great seasoning & fully satisfying. Israel was my server. He was gracious, helpful, attentive & friendly- I'm looking forward to going back!

Spent the weekend in SH and came here to dinner because their menu has a little bit of everything to satisfy your crave. Small restaurant, with outdoor seating. Service was great, we didn't feel rushed. We ordered the bruschetta, which was yummy. Need a little bit of seasoning, thank you to the salt and pepper on the table for us. We had the rib eye and fish and chips. Rib eye was a bit on the rare side but I didn't mind it too much. Unfortunately there was more fat then meat. For $30. Caramelized onions and veggies were good. Fish chips were not greasy but lack seasoning.

Wonderful little spot we stumbled on and amazed it wasn't busier. Super diverse menu from burgers to Mexican cuisine. Hard to imagine doing it all well but this bistro is all about can do! My burger was cooked perfectly and the charbroil flavor oozed with the juice. Tasty bun too. Served with a simple tossed salad. My pal got the mole enchiladas which he loved. And of course the service was top self. Friendly and efficient. Can't wait to return. So if you are in Napa skip the lines at the grocery store and road houses and sit down and enjoy!

Came for lunch after our original restaurant plan was a fail and over an hour wait. We got a table right away for outside and our waiter immediately turned up the outdoor patio heater to full blast, which was much appreciated with the colder weather. In fact it even sprinkled a bit while we were dining and we were really impressed that the covers blocked the rain completely. Taco Salad ($18) - Lettuce, rice, refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, cilantro dressing, and choice of meat in a tortilla shell (I got carnitas). Man this really hit the spot after wine tasting. It was basically like a burrito in a crispy tostada bowl. The meat was juicy and crispy, and everything went really well together. They didn't skimp on all of the toppings for the "salad". I loved it. 5/5 Would not hesitate to come here again!

We love the food and also the service here. We've been a few times. The avocado salad has a wonderful cilantro dressing. The eggplant parmigiana is my favorite ever. The breading is light and not overpoweringly eggy as so many are. The marinara is delicious! He always gets the Alfredo and it's perfect. Not too greasy. We also got their tiramisu and it has a lovely maple syrup soak that made it delightful. Great place!!

First just a reminder the owner was involved in an accident that unalived an EMPLOYEE because he went drinking with her, a friend and another employee while his now ex wife was at home. And for his Horrible service. Came In with my friend for lunch. I ordered the Alfredo and my friend ordered a salad which she loved. I felt my alfredo was a bit too salty.. didn't even say anything. And I wasn't going to. I didn't really touch the pasta but asked for a box because my husband eats everything. Anyhow, the server asked me if I didn't like the pasta- so I was honest. The server was the owner. And he was offended I didn't care for it. He told me I was wrong because nobody ever complains about the pasta. The only thing wrong is all the spelling mistakes on your menu sir.

Stopped by for lunch on Thursday pre-frozen grilled chicken breast tacos, pre packaged iceberg lettuce tomatillo salsa, from a jar The staff is nice and friendly food is terrible. do not recommend.

Stopped for a mid afternoon snack post wine tasting. Relied on previous reviews and boy were we steered wrong. We ordered the bruschetta and calamari. The toast points for the bruschetta were brunt and the middle of each slice ended up being soggy as it seemed the bread was grilled without any oil. Flavor was good, but the burned bread over powered the tomatoes and herbs. The calamari. Where do I even begin. Looked good and that was about it. The calamari was over cooked and ended up being chewy. The aioli served with the calamari was basically mayo and lacked flavor. Ever have one of those meals where you felt it was just wasted calories? This was one of them. 2 stars because the service staff were nice, friendly, and diligent about refilling our drinks.

Very nice little bistro. Clean, and well kept. The ingredients were fresh, well-cooked and served by friendly staff. They had good wines available if you wanted that with your bistro fare. I wish I had known it would be some of the tastiest food I had in Napa Valley. I would've come back more.

Excellent bougie food. Good variety. Owners/managers are very nice. There goal is to cater to the clients. I particularly enjoy the salads and fish and chips. The fish and chip dish is good but the fish is skimpy. The chips are a solid win. As expected, all is over priced in this area. Very clean. Location is perfect. I am a repeat customer.

We were in St. Helena during my hunt for small towns and came to this place for lunch. I had the chicken burger, my husband had the avocado salad with salmon. Both tasted delicious!!

My wife and I stopped in the other week for lunch and had a very enjoyable meal. We came on a Thursday, but St. Helena was still quite busy during the lunch hour. Found parking nearby and were greeted very warmly as we entered the restaurant. Got seated right away and I really liked the decor of this restaurant. There are about 12 tables inside and another 4 or so outside. It was a warm summer day, so we opted to eat inside. I ordered the BBQ Burger with fries, while my wife ordered the Steak Taco Salad. We thought about ordering an appetizer, but didn't think we'd be able to eat all the food, so that will have to happen at a future meal. I did want to try the Calamari Appetizer, but once I saw how much you get, I was happy we opted not to do it this time. Plus, we filled-up on pastries and sweets earlier in the morning, so that contributed to our lack of appetite. My BBQ Burger was cooked just right. I substituted the blue cheese for Provolone. The BBQ sauce had a nice tang to it and along with the onions and lettuce made for a very good burger. The fries were just as I like them, thin and crispy. My wife's Taco Salad was also good. The steak was a bit dry, but the flavor was really nice. Service here was very good. The staff were very friendly and were constantly filling our glasses of water. I'll definitely need to come back and sample more of their menu items.

This place is amazing. Chicken enchiladas mole is incredible. Sat outside and the service was wonderful. Friendly waiters. A++++++

We walked in to this bistro because our intended destination was closed for the afternoon. I ordered the mushroom bolognese lasagna. I am a very picky eater and my partner is a chef who loves bolognese and is a regular connoisseur. It was fantastic. Homemade ravioli. Sauce to perfection. Could have devoured it all but want to savor it again tomorrow! Will definitely be a regular.

We stumbled upon this cute little bistro by what it seems like Downtown St. Helena! It is a cute tiny place. The staff where nice and it was a quick service! They have happy hour as well! The food is delicious! Their teriyaki chicken is a MUST! It wasn't dry and the sauce was a great balance so I highly recommend it! The shrimp tacos was also good, it was made with cheese, sour cream, bell peppers and lettuce! Definitely will go back!

I like the way this restaurant shuts down and allows the staff to prepare and eat a meal for themselves, prior to reopening for the dinner crowd. We had the bruscetta as a appetizer, so good with toated bread, garlic, diced tomatoes, herbs and spices, topped olive oil. We had a salad, as it was still hot that afternoon, beautifully prepared with sparkling wine to drink. So Good, a must visit in St. Helena.

All the menu prices have changed and need updated on this app. For example the salmon tacos are $22, not $11.

Cute little spot right on Main Street. Lively area! Perfect to have something hearty before your wine tasting appointment, which is what we did. We ordered steak salad, avocado salad and fish tacos. Perfect amount to hold you through for a few hours. Service was quick but attentive. We were in a rush and the service was spot-on. Thank you.

I went here today for lunch. Got the salmon and shrimp, it came with mashed potatoes and tomatoes. I now have food poisoning, along with my 7 year old daughter. We shared plates. Definitely not returning here.

Found this place to be one of the lower-priced restaurants for lunch (but not fast food prices). Got here for lunch around 12 on a Wednesday, and had no wait. Service was pretty quick as well. I got the chicken burger and an order of fries. I was sad the burgers didn't come with fries, but we got a pretty big basket for one order, so it wasn't a big deal to me. The chicken in the burger was super moist, and it also had avocado (the real reason I chose that item on the menu). Burger wasn't really big, but wasn't too small, either. With the fries, I was very satisfied. I would definitely be back if I were in the area.

What a gem of a place. Started with the artichoke appetizer to die for then the tortilla soup. We went for lunch and had the avocado salad with shrimp and another with chicken. Everything was super fresh. Service was also great. Highly recommend this place.

NOT a good food and a waste of money. I ordered fish and chips and let me tell you something it taste like plastic PLASTIC and on top of it it taste horrible. the fries that comes with it is SOGGY. The slaw that comes with it is slimy. My husband steak is terrible as well. Go somewhere else.

Adorable place but very very small. There was a line for the bathroom that had you wait by tables which was very awkward. The food was very good. House made mozzarella and salsa. The chicken empanadas were not to greasy and very crisp.

I am so thrilled we found St Helena Bistro. We are new to town and had friends in for the weekend and wanted to go out for lunch. We happened upon The St Helena Bistro and found a gem. The food is delicious and the owners are lovely and friendly people. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We will be back again and again.

Was shopping near by and just happened to give this place a try and wow! Everyone loved their dish so much we drove 30 min to go back the next day and again everything was a 10/10 from steak, chicken sandwich, pasta, fajitas and dessert. Plus the waiters are amazing! I will definitely be back my next trip to Napa.

Please don't tell anybody how amazing the food is here, because it's our secret place in St Helena! Grilled Artichoke, Parmesan Risotto with shrimp and Eggplant Parmesan! Seriously plate licking good!!! Homemade Churros, with espresso gelato for desert! Chef Isreal never disappoints. One of our favorite restaurants in St Helena!! Life is wonderful!

It pains me to sometimes give lower stars especially when people are so nice. This is a busy spot in the quaint downtown area of St. Helena. My best friend Sammie and I swung by to eat after running the Vine Body Sole Race so we had a big appetite. The menu was a little basic but it smelled good inside. We opted to sit at the bar because there seemed to be quite a few reservations. We waited for a while. And I mean, a while before we had any service. Sammie had to ask someone to help us. We are both patient people but it was genuinely a long time. We split a vanilla milkshake which was tasty. She had a watermelon salad with no cheese and added chicken. I went for their giant cheeseburger with bacon and all the fixings. Why they lost two stars: one for the wait and second for the food. My fries were lukewarm at best. My burger was OKAY and severely over cooked. I asked for it to be cooked medium. It was well done. I cannot with well done meat. I want juice and flavor...not charcoal and tar. Overall, it was okay. Reasonably priced. Clean. Nice staff. But the wait and my food quality earned them two deductions in stars. I'll probably continue elsewhere for food.

Boy was this pasta delicious! I came here for lunch last week and tried one of their pastas. It was so good! The staff was super nice and let us pick where we wanted to sit. It is a narrow restaurant with seating inside and outside. Their menu isn't that large, but I would still really recommend this place because the pasta was worth it! It was delicious!

Surprise! My grandparents really like their burgers!!! We got 5 out of the 6 options, and all of them are great. I can tell their food is good for elders. My grandpa prefers soft food but he found the food acceptable and liked it very much lol!

This was a great place to have lunch in St Helena. We were disappointed that Gott's was so busy so we went into town and found this great Bistro. We had an amazing cheeseburger and fries. So good.

Visited St. Helena Bistro during this past weekend and my overall experience here was fair. I called ahead of time to reserve a table of 10 and we had no problems with sitting. The restaurant is actually very small/narrow but my party was able to fit in comfortably. They have a free corkage fee for your first bottle if you decide to BYOB as well. I am mostly giving this place a fair rating because their food was not that special and the server was rude. I forgot what I wanted to order and asked the server to come back to me after writing down everyone else's order. The rude ass server gave me a dirty look and moved on. Like really...did you really have to give me that face just because I didn't order. The lousy waiter's manners with the mediocre food resulted in a 3 star rating. Most of my party ordered burgers but the pricing and presentation of the dishes was weird. I was personally disappointed that the fries were considered extras ($3-$5) and the waiter struggled to explain if fries were a part of the burger dishes or not. Also the burgers were presented in a basket with paper underneath. I personally do not like using my hands for burgers, so I found it very stupid and frustrating to cut my burger in a hollow basket. This is also just my personal opinion, but if one sees a party with birthday related things, it's polite to wish the person or person(s) a happy birthday. But nope, nothing. No comment or anything from the waiter. I would not recommend this place to friends nor will I be returning. Food here is mediocre and I've learned when in napa, just pay a little more for better food restaurants and better service.
