Ordered take-out of mocha, Parisien Ham Sandwich, Chocolate Eclair, Almond Croissant, and a hot mocha. The sandwich was absolutely fantastic, the bread was not hard and the ingredients were fresh. The Almond Croissant was probably one of the best I have had. I did not enjoy the Eclair; the filling was good but the breading/pastry itself had an odd texture. Mocha had too dark of espresso for me but was decent besides that. I can't wait to try there other bread and pastries!

The pastries here are really good, but the prices are so high that it doesn’t seem worth it. I was also put off when I realized they charged me for whipped cream for a drink that came with it. They also are often out of sandwich items, even if you get there before 9am. I want to love this place, but it’s a frustrating experience when it’s pricey, and they are out of a menu item for days.

Unfortunately, today's visit to St. Honore was a major letdown, and I sincerely hope it's not a sign of declining standards, including a lost order, then a partial order, and dangerous, unhygienic food handling. We arrived during a quiet period and placed a simple order: two sandwiches and a soup. After about 25 minutes--well beyond a reasonable wait--I noticed others who ordered after us being served. I approached the counter to check on our order. No one was present, the order screen was blank, and the staff were chatting among themselves. As I suspected, our order had been lost. That kind of thing happens--no big deal if it's handled well. But instead of acknowledging the mistake or offering even a basic apology, I was met with "You're good." I watched as they pulled up the order from the system history, and I assumed they'd prioritize getting it out quickly. After all, this is mostly pre-made food. Not quite. About 5-6 minutes later, only the soup appeared. I took it to our table, returned, and waited, expecting the sandwiches to follow. Nothing. I asked again and got a blank look from the same staff member. I reminded her--again--that we were still waiting on two sandwiches. She turned to check the queue screen, which was once again blank. At this point, we had been inside for nearly 45 minutes and had barely started eating. I decided to hover nearby to monitor things, and I'm glad I did--otherwise, we probably would've been forgotten a second time. I watched as the prep cook worked on someone else's order before making any progress on ours, only preparing one sandwich and leaving the second untouched. He clearly knew there was a delay--he made eye contact with me and raised his eyebrows as if I was the one being unreasonable. No apology, no urgency, no recognition that anything had gone wrong. And then came the most troubling part. As we finally sat down to eat, we noticed that the same prep cook was exhibiting unhygienic behavior. Over 10 minutes, we watched him touch cash, his phone, an iPad, cabinet handles, his hair, and people's food--without once changing his gloves. It wasn't just careless; it was gross and unacceptable for any food establishment. I understand staffing is hard right now, and mistakes happen. This visit delivered neither quality nor consistency. There was no leadership, no accountability, and no basic food safety. I'm not sure if this location is struggling more than others, but based on today's experience, it will be our last visit. I expect better from St. Honore. And frankly, you should too.

Am happy to have St Honoré in the neighborhood but this location is very inconsistent. Agree with other reviews that the layout is odd. Arrived today for lunch and many items already sold out. Ordered the quiche lorraine and there was barely any egg! When paying $15 for quiche you'd expect a bit more. :(

Been a St Honore customer ever since they opened on NW Thurman. Favourite sandwich is the Pear Bartlett with Brie. Today, I stopped by the Macadam cafe and was very disappointed with the service of one of their staff named Josh. He was very rude and unfriendly. He shouldn’t be in customer service!

I want to like this place so badly, but today it was just off. The tough part is that we have been going through a heat wave and you can tell the staff are really stressed out and going thru it! This is when I would contact the owner and say hey let’s figure out a way to get an air conditioner in here for these people because the place was frying inside. I do feel bad for them. I came during lunch time and due to this they could no longer serve hot food because it was just not safe at that point which I appreciate them letting us know. We only had really one sandwich option besides a beet salad and we were hungry. The food was decent under the circumstances. I hope they figure this out for the people working there and for future customers.

Wonderful awning covering bistro tables and chairs. 'Garage Door' style frontage opens the cafe/bakery to the seating area. Friendly staff. Downside is faces (tree lined) Macadam, which is a well traveled road.

Our first visit we had coffee and croissants which were delicious. Our second visit was for lunch. We ordered two of the same salads and two drinks. The salads we ordered were incredibly inconsistent. One container was full but the other was only a third full. We asked for another full one but weee told that that was what they had. The salads had different ingredients and dressings too even though we ordered two chef salads. Weirdly inconsistent.
