The baked goods are yummy, but at what cost to my wallet and soul? Customer service has been mid at best the 3 times I've been here, which in a way makes it more authentically French? The prices are insane, $15 for one bakery quiche should be illegal. They wouldn't make my cappuccino an 8oz because they only "do one size", so it mostly tasted like frothy, warm milk.

Went in hoping for and craving an authentic French pastry (choquettes). I had heard online and through friends this place is authentic and one of the best in Portland, I found that to be not the case. The pastries were disappointing and not authentic at all. The choquettes tasted off and had barely any sugar over any of them. I also picked up an eclair which, once I inspected it, had obviously been frozen and was simultaneously mushy and hard and did not taste great. When I was there I also noticed that the croissants in the case were huge and very American looking, like something you'd see at a grocery store here, not appetizing at all. I don't understand why Americans settle for bakeries of this quality. I can only assume there's no other competition in this city if people think this is good. Save your money for a trip to France, don't buy this crap. Employees were nice, nothing is their fault, make better food.

I got a Nicoise salad on my lunch break. I asked about the ingredients because it was not on the menu and they didn't know what was in it. I got it back to my desk and to my suprise, the anchovies had been traded out for budget canned tuna and there was no dressing in sight. I understand the ingredients are supposed to lend to the lack of dressing but not when you add tuna instead of the anchovies. I just paid way too much for a bowl of dry ingredients on a bed of greens. I was also given bread... three pieces and no butter. I think they must have thrown in an extra piece for not having butter? I'd rather they just stop providing bread and butter and take off $3. My favorite part about this experience was leaving and not coming back.

Ordered take-out of mocha, Parisien Ham Sandwich, Chocolate Eclair, Almond Croissant, and a hot mocha. The sandwich was absolutely fantastic, the bread was not hard and the ingredients were fresh. The Almond Croissant was probably one of the best I have had. I did not enjoy the Eclair; the filling was good but the breading/pastry itself had an odd texture. Mocha had too dark of espresso for me but was decent besides that. I can't wait to try there other bread and pastries!

Pastries are fine, but I was just blown away with my lunch experience. I paid nearly $15 for a pre-made sandwich, I'm not sure if they'll even make a fresh one. I ordered a turkey and cheese croissant because I wanted a sandwich and I was hungry. The side salad was a nice touch but my sandwich was nearly unedible. It was overblown with bechamel, who puts that in a sandwich? There was so much it turned the croissant soggy and I could not pick it up to eat. I ended up taking it all apart and just eating the tiny piece of turkey. Not sure if I found any actual cheese in there.

Cute and delicious, very French! Best patisserie this side of France!

This is our favorite bakery when we visit Portland, great coffee and espresso beverages, and sweet and savory pastries. The seating is limited, but carrying out is easy.

Am happy to have St Honoré in the neighborhood but this location is very inconsistent. Agree with other reviews that the layout is odd. Arrived today for lunch and many items already sold out. Ordered the quiche lorraine and there was barely any egg! When paying $15 for quiche you'd expect a bit more. :(
