St Johns River Taxi

My wife and I enjoyed the sunset cruise. The captain was very nice and we had live music as well which made the cruise very enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Jacksonville area. Great way to start off the evening.

Took the sunset cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The captain and crew we excellent hosts. Learned quite a lot about Jacksonville and the St John's River. Got to see some dolphins on the way out and back. Great views of the city and the many types of housing along the river. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and the captain made sure we were recognized to the rest of the passengers. Everyone on the boat was friendly and curious and personally wished us a happy anniversary. Thanks for the memories!!!

We must have arrived on the right cruise. The boat was full but not overly crowded. My cousin saw the boat last time he was in Baptist and wanted to do it for his birthday. We were on the dolphin cruise and saw loads of them. We sailed near exchange Island and got to see parts of downtown you can only see from the river. The captain was a wealth of knowledge, I've lived in Jacksonville my while life and learned things I never knew about Jacksonville history. It was a fun and relaxing experience, I may do it again and bring my niece and sister next time.

What a fantastic way to get to a football game! The party started on the boat and lasted all night long. Bit of a wait on the way home, but we were greeted by a friendly, hardworking crew and an ice cold drink. I could not recommend them enough. Even the dolphins came out to play. Go Jags!

The night on the river was a sight to see and enjoyable!! The Captain and his assistant was very pleasant as well!!

We booked the Sunset Cruise, since we were staying at Southbank Marriott. Convenient booking on line, $50 for two of us including tip. Found the "Water Taxi" sign by the Doubletree Hotel on the Riverwalk. On the boat, the mate scanned our tickets on her phone. About 75 persons boarded, the best 45 seats are along the two sides, everyone else sits on backless benches amidships. Be among the first to board. The cruise took us outside downtown Jacksonville and back In again. Helps understand the city and the area. Beautiful lights as the sun went down. Well worth the trip, great captain & mate, safe twin-hull pontoon boat with two Suzuki outboards. We'll be using the Water Taxi for Jaguars games in the fall.

We had an excellent time on the sunset cruise!! I definitely recommend it for a date night!!
