Slicing Bagels Like Bread: A Debate | Eater

"A practice of slicing bagels into super-thin vertical slivers — reportedly a St. Louis/chain innovation — sparked a social-media debate: supporters praise it for reducing density, maximizing surface area for toppings, turning bagels into chip-like, easy-to-share pieces (handy as an airport snack) and say it works particularly well with very sweet varieties like cinnamon-crunch; detractors argue it destroys the classic contrast between crust and crumb, undermines the bagel’s role as a comically large sandwich platform, produces awkward center pieces that are hard to hold or spread cream cheese on, and find the idea objectionable especially because it originates from a chain." - Eater Staff

I had the perfect lunch at this location. Soup was hot & delicious. Mediterranean sandwich was simply good!

Google
Yolanda is a joy. She was kind when taking my order and making casual conversation and overall very welcoming! She is a good front face to this location! Bagels were fine, but I miss the cream cheese selection Bread Co used to have. And bring back the Cobblestone!! I know it's been almost a decade but I miss it

My sister and I occasionally come here for lunch. We have never had a bad experience until today. The woman behind the counter called us up when our food was ready. We ordered two fountain sodas: one regular, one large. I politely asked for our cups. She handed us two regular cups. I let her know I ordered a large and set the one regular drink cup on the counter. She did not acknowledge me. Thinking she did not hear me I said it again, politely. She continued to work, completely ignoring me. I stood there for a minute, she looked at me and took the regular cup off the counter and put it back. Knowing she saw me, I again politely let her know I ordered a large. Only then did she acknowledge me to let me know they had to get some from the back like I was an annoyance. Super frustrated with the customer service. She was clearly ignoring me even though she knew her coworker heard me ask and went to the back. It takes two seconds to acknowledge someone and give a response back. When I got back to our table I saw our sandwiches we paid for...both were basically all bread. Very disappointed.

Google
For the morning crew: There is a difference between great customer service and going overboard. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE stop holding entire conversations with every customer that comes through the line. During morning rush people are trying to pick up their food and keep it moving. Folks are trying to get to work, school, appointments, etc., and they are just trying to grab a bite to eat before they start their day. But when the associates are already moving at a snails pace AND chatting about life events with everyone that comes through the door during peak rush hours, it creates a recipe for disaster. This is honestly the best location in the area as far as food presentation, availability, and quality but my goodness please train your staff to accommodate customers in a timely manner especially during peak hours.

Google
I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup and was shocked to find that both the bowl and spoon were visibly dirty - as if they had just been rinsed with water but not actually washed. On top of that, I ordered hot tea, but the “hot water” at the drink station was not even warm. I had to give up and get a cold drink instead. Worst of all, I had to wash the spoon myself using the lukewarm water and a napkin. This level of cleanliness and service is unacceptable. I expect much better from a place like Panera. Never coming back to this location I understand if someone forgot to change the water but bro, the cleanliness is the most important in food

Google
I often go to various Stl Bread Co and I must say that this is one of the most accommodating place I’ve been at. Wendy, the manager was kind and very helpful. Can’t complain about the food. It was good as expected and the wait time was reasonable. Will most likely to return.

Google
Very clean! One of the better St. Louis Bread Co in the area in terms of food and atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but we were there at lunch time.

Google
I usually love this location. But recently it has been awful. Last week I got a bacon turkey bravo sandwich with no turkey on it, I drove all the way back up there for there not to be turkey on the second sandwich either. By the time I got home the second time they were closed so I couldn't go back a 3rd time for them to fix my sandwich. I don't understand how someone misses turkey on a turkey sandwich and just puts toppings but I gave the benefit of the doubt and shrugged it off. I came back tonight for 2 sandwiches and mac and cheese. The bag felt pretty full so I regrettably assumed they put everything in there. I get home to find no mac and cheese. And of course now they're closed I can't just call up and say what's happening. I'm about over this location. Pretty long wait time as well tonight. Thanks panera 👍

Yelp
Their rewards tend to be better than the rest but once again they changed up shit like they always do my coffee iced caramel latte. It tastes different every single time I come here or any other location. There's only one that I know of that is consistent but what I'm really leaving a review for is that New egg for the bacon egg and cheese croissant they used to have a folded egg now it is a round egg. I couldn't tell you all the different eggs that I've been through here. Once you get used to something they take it away. I understand the egg crisis, but Jesus stop it. It's the same carton of egg batter but it just something about the texture, just taste extremely dry and I've had several of them some location still have the folded egg. I'm just so sick of them changing stuff I'm almost the point where I want them to shut down!!!

Yelp
We heard about the new menu selections and decided to give it a try. I ordered the New Toasted Italiano. It had ham, soppressara, provolone cheese, Romaine, pepperoncini, onion, garlic, aïoli, greek dressing all served on a French baguette. My husband ordered the Chicken Bacon Rancher. It was grilled chicken, bacon, white cheddar ranch dressing on focaccia bread. You could get a half sandwich or a full sandwich. We decided to order the full sandwiches and split them. We both agreed that the chicken bacon rancher was much smaller. If you were ordering a half a sandwich, make sure you're not very hungry because I don't think it would fill you up. For the chicken bacon rancher I enjoyed the bread that was served on. You can't go wrong with focaccia bread. Other than that, the sandwich was a bit bland. It really did not have much seasoning. I guess it would be a good sandwich for a picky eater. It had a very minimal amount of bacon. So minimal that you really did not even taste it and could barely see it. For the Toasted Italiano, this sandwich was bigger. You could get away with just ordering half of this one. It was pretty tasty. The pepper and onions had some kind of sweetness to it that made it really good. I would definitely order this one again. The restaurant was fairly clean for this time of evening. We came later around 7 o'clock. The servers were very nice and we got our food fairly quick.

Yelp
Terrible service! Had to ask 3 times before someone came and refilled the iced coffee. Totally unacceptable

Catherine C.

Yelp
For starters, SHRINKFLATION. $11 for a tiny sandwich and bowl of potato soup which looks NOTHING as pictured on the website. The pic demonstrates loads of seemingly shredded potatoes. What was served up was just a few chunks of potato in a disgusting base LOADED with SODIUM. I'm just over PANERA. Simply put, overrated, overpriced and unappealing.

Sam L.

Yelp
Food is great but they always, always, always forget something. Sometimes they refund, sometimes they say sorry and that's it. But they always check mark the receipt that everything's there. But.....it's not

Luca T.

Yelp
I Ordered at 8:00pm and was the only person in line for the drive through, a large mac and cheese was 12 bucks, it took 10+ minutes to get the food and they forgot the baguette. not impressed.

Timothy U.

Yelp
I'm very upset that they got rid of the frozen/blended caramel and mocha drinks. that was a staple here. I've been getting it for 20+ years then they just stop. I won't come here as much anymore I was upset when they change the brownie years ago also the over easy egg option was eliminated. Then they change the chocolate croissant. And finally now they eliminate my favorite drink everything I ordered here has changed. I'm all about change but some things like the drink should not have gone away. Oh I forgot they also change the sizes before they eliminated it.... on a positive note Wendy is the best manager, she will put a smile on your face. Thanks Wendy for caring about your customers.

Yelp
Two words to describe this restaurant: Aggressively Average Went at noon to order the Teriyaki Chicken, which they were already sold out of. I decided to order a Baja Bowl w/ Chicken which was okay. The service was abrupt and annoyed with me when I asked what their sides were. Nothing about the bowl stood out. It was bland, cold, but neatly put together. Outside the presentation of the meal, can't think of anything else to compliment this restaurant. Save your money and go to a place that specializes in a certain cuisine, because everything you get here is mediocre at best.

Yelp
My wife and I dropped in to St. Louis Bread Company in Dierberg's Plaza on Telegraph Road in Oakville (south St. Louis County, MO) to buy a gift card for our letter carrier. While we were there, we decided to relax and have a couple of cappuccinos, but the experience was anything but relaxing. After we ordered, it seemed like we had waited a long time for our drinks, so I asked the counter person what happened to our cappuccinos. She found them misplaced on the "Rapid Pickup" cabinet, and she apologized. No big deal. We sat down to drink our coffee drinks, and I discovered that mine had no coffee in it whatsoever. It was just hot, frothy milk! After a brief discussion, my wife returned the drink to the counter. An employee poured it down the drain and verified that there was no coffee in it. Apparently the employee who made my drink didn't know how to make cappuccinos. They made me a replacement at no charge, but the replacement also had hardly any coffee in it. We have gone to this cafe' often in the past, and we have always been satisfied with their products until today. After today's experience, I doubt that we will ever go back.

Yelp
Worst Panera in town. Took 30 minutes of waiting inside to get a charged lemonade and large carafe of coffee from an online pickup order. Absolutely ridiculous wait for two drinks when ordered ahead.
google avatar

Jacqueline F.

Yelp
It was fine but it turned my finger green?!?!?! And the employees were all fat! But the drinks are free so all is well at Panera sunset hills

Yelp
Look, I know when I go to Bread Co. I am not getting Michelin Star food but I do expect a flipping sandwich to be prepared well. Condiments evenly dispersed across the insides of the bread, and not just squirted in a blob on each side of the bread. The meat should not be slapped on the bread in a clump and half off the bread. Whomever made my sammie was no sandwich artist and truly could give a crap. I think a two year old could make a nicer sandwich. This pricey excuse for a turkey sandwich is down right shameful. I except way better.

Yelp
Slow as can be. Rude, bratty kids running this joint. this grinds my gears every time because when I was a young person working in restaurants, I would be fired if I didn't smile until my face hurts and these kids talk to me like I have half a head. NOPE. The sad thing is, is the people who raise these little monsters are people my own age. Nice job, fellow Xennials! especially the brat with a purple ponytail told me my order wasn't ready yet (with a MASSIVE ATTITUDE) when it was just hiding on a shelf that I found after looking really hard... was there the whole time - - She's got to go. BYYYYEEE!!
google avatar

Stacey D.

Yelp
I wanted a Carmel machiatto and the young lady suggested a Carmel Latte. She made it so beautifully!! Her name os Grace and I will forever call her Amazing Grace!!!! She made my night!!! Stay great Grace, because you are AMAZING!!!! Somebody give Grace a raise Asap!!! They were closing and she was so nice, helpful and pleasant and these days that's hard to come by. We need more Grace's in the world. I give Grace a 1000 stars!!!!! I would've taken a picture of it, but I drank it all.

Yelp
I have driven past this location dozens of times and it always looks like a zoo. A friend wanted to meet to study and I reluctantly agreed. I was so pleasantly surprised to find it quiet was ample study space. The manager was kindly checking on people and clearing dishes but not in a rushing way. I was content with my fountain iced tea today and it was a great location for homework. Also drive thru here very important to note.
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Well the only good thing I can say is the food was delicious.... avidly I take that back..... the little tiny dish of Mac & cheese was delicious. The Ceasars chicken salads were super disappointing! They came in a small dish and it was super plain unfortunately. I also got a lemonade that I was not able to drink. It was sooo super sour that I had to throw it away. My hubs did get an ice mocha that he really liked but we spent $35 and were expecting much more. So if you decide to stop here just stick with the Mac & cheese. You can thank me later

Scott J.

Yelp
I go every morning through the drive thru. Jenna always has a great attitude and provides great service. Always quick and is very pleasant to have as a server. Food and coffee are always consistent and delicious. Great overall experience! Keeps me coming back each morning.

Yelp
I used to live in this neighborhood and frequent this Bread Co. The main thing to keep in mind here is it gets really busy and the parking lot is small. I wanted to drive thru on a weekday morning but the drive thru was wrapped all the way around the building and spilling out onto Chippewa so I parked and went in. Very fast service and I was out in a couple of minutes. I definitely beat the drive thru time by a lot. I'm sure I'll be back.

Yelp
Ordered delivery, arrived late, one sandwich was missing, one had been opened up and was loose in the bag. Called the restaurant. They won't redeliver the missing items. Stated that is between me and Door Dash. I ordered from the my Panera App. I didn't even know door dash was delivering it. Store says I can come pick up the missing sandwich or get a refund tomorrow, for just the missing sandwich. $60 for two "you pick 2" and a pizza with delivery and tip. Ripoff! I will not be back. Update... person I spoke to said they would issue a refund for the missing sandwich the next day. 2 days later, no refund. I called the Panera customer service number. They gave me a $20 credit on my account. I used it to buy some bread that I picked up. I have no plans to order delivery from any Panera again. How they handle deliveries is a cluster.
google avatar

Haley M.

Yelp
Ordered two cookies with my online pickup and they only gave me one. Called back and asked for a refund of the cookie or a coupon for one for my next order and they only were able to offer a coupon for a free beverage that I have to pick up in person? Not to mention the gal who answered the phone was standing next to the manager and kept having to ask him for all the answers to my questions? Why not just talk to me himself? Disappointed.

Fanya E.

Yelp
I ordered Mediterranean bowl with chicken today and asked to add cucumbers and avocado . There were no cucumbers and all pieces of avocado were bad . I was not very happy with my food and the price was almost $ 20.00 .

Christel A.

Yelp
Worst place ever and I like bredco. This location is awful. Employees rude and yelling at me for taking my order off the counter. I had 2 small kids with me and had to make several trips. Very unhelpful. Whatever happened to this location. I spent $35+ and get treated like it's a chore to be waiting on me. Whatever happened to the nice Employees that used to work here. Tables are disgusting, one has to clean up before sitting down. Not gonna be back and certainly won't recommend this location to anyone

Yelp
Never have I ever walked out of a Bread Co. (Panera) before ordering, but today was the day. We just wanted to pick up a salad before heading home and since we were driving by this location of Bread Co. we decided to give it a go. Bad choice. The girls behind the register were clueless and by the time we were ready to order a manager (we assume) started talking rudely to the girl taking our order. As in, she interrupted and started talking about the lack of cleanliness of the space. The girl taking our order tried to talk over the manager, but it was pointless. She ended up just walking off without acknowledging us at all. The manager could have cared less that we were customers trying to order. Then another girl came over to try to take our order and by the time I finished ordering a pick 2 she then turned around and grabbed a plate and started looking for its owner. She also just ended up waking off on us without saying anything. Seriously. Was it worth it to keep waiting? No. So we just decided to leave. We were shocked and speechless. Worst customer service experience ever. I really have issues with this location and I think this was my last visit. I won't be back. People here are just rude and not helpful. I'll go somewhere else from now on.
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
I've been going to this location frequently during Covid. The last couple months the quality of food and the service have really gone down. Bagels are burned, sandwiches are flopped together with clumps of food and slices of bread crooked. The last two times I ordered soup there were no croutons, and I ordered a side today of the cucumber tomato salad for an extra $1.99 and the container was 1/4 full. There were literally 4 bites of salad. I tried calling to talk to the manager and couldn't get through. I love Panera but I am really disappointed in this location.
google avatar

Chelsea M.

Yelp
Pros: -Food is good and reliable. For a faster food option, I appreciate the effort that Bread Co puts into making the food have healthier qualities. -Given the food quality, I believe the price is reasonable and I like that you get regular rewards on MyPanera. Cons: -Whenever I come to this location, it's always unclear where the line is or what the order to being helped is. It's always a game for me to decide which workers are on cashiers and who I should walk up to. -My order was wrong (had onions when I asked for them off) and the worker got me a new one without apology or anything to make it right (despite the receipt saying I should get a treat for my trouble). -Also, someone was vacuuming the floor and got very close to us at our table for an uncomfortable amount of time while we were eating. I enjoy coming to Bread Co occasionally, but slightly disappointed that this location isn't consistently great service.

Yelp
Need a fast breakfast? Go to Bread Co., it is far better then a sausage biscuit from a fast food place. The breakfast sandwiches are totally awesome, as are the small quiches. We can never make up our minds so we share several items to get a taste of our favorites. We'll share a sandwich, quiche and a scone (for something sweet). The customer service here is down home friendly. I'd highly recommend this be the location used for training the staffs of other STL Bread Co's. My only negative of this location is that they are putting in a drive-up window. I know it's weird, but I just don't like drive-up windows. I prefer to park, go inside and experience true customer service in person and not through a speaker box and window.
google avatar

Taryn P.

Yelp
This was my last time here. Horrible service, and a 25-minute wait to the window, where they forgot what drink I ordered. Also, the pricing for the same items changes every time I come here. I've had enough! When I get to work, I unwrapped my Napa Almond Chicken Salad sandwich. It was made with a different kind of bread than usual, and wasn't even cut in half. There were cherry tomatoes on it, which I had never seen before on this sandwich. It tasted like it had been made with week-old ingredients. An hour later, I was very sick. Do not go here!
google avatar

Dave S.

Yelp
I ordered the Baja bowl and the order-taker said, "So, we're out of the black bean and corn salsa." I might have stayed and ordered another item if she'd acted like she cared that she had to disappoint me. Rule #1 of customer service: ALWAYS apologize for your customer's disappointment. That doesn't mean you are directly to blame. It means you are aware that the customer isn't happy and you, as the company's representative, regret it. I said, "I'll go somewhere else." Only at that point did she say, "Sorry." I tried to call today to talk to a manager, but no one answers the phone at this location. Is this the best they can do?

Rheita F.

Yelp
I approached the counter to order the young lady did not even acknowledge me. She seemed high or spacey when I attempted to start my order. She was speaking to a man behind us which I found extremely rude. I asked her was she gonna let me order she just said yeah did not even bother to apologize. The bathrooms were filthy with paper towels laying everywhere. Stop hiring people spaced out on drugs. Needless to say I will not be coming here again!!!
google avatar

Leslie G.

Yelp
I order here often and today wasn't up to par. My friends Order was completely gross. This was the only thing with mine, and the only time I've had an issue, but this is unacceptable.
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
Okay I frequent this establishment but this is just pathetic this time. I'm 38 weeks pregnant and don't like to leave my house per the swelling. So I ordered delivery and it's been over an hour now I live right down the street so I called and the "manager" said the only driver on staff took out 15 orders at once. Which why? Just put on the website it's not available at this time..... so I can't cancel or get a refund I just have to wait? And see if this delivery girl is going to bring me my food? I'd rather her just not and I'll order from somewhere else that can handle regular deliveries. It's an easy solution...
google avatar

Sara M.

Yelp
This location is meh. Sometimes the drive thru takes forever! I prefer the rapid pick up, because it's much faster. Don't go here if you're in a hurry and it's a busy time.
google avatar

Tasha Brewer V.

Yelp
Very unprofessional!! I ask about the Asian bowl and she had no clue. They were out of the chicken teriyaki bowl and she was rude about that. I will never go back!!
google avatar

Susy Q.

Yelp
Food is good... it's Panera. But THE LADIES WHO RUN THE LINE on Saturday mornings are ROCKSTARS! Always smiling, friendly and efficient! Shout out to the ladies who made my lunch today! Y'all are the best!

Serena P.

Yelp
If you need a nice wake up call in the mornings, the morning workers at the Bread Co. are A1. Jenna, Brandon, and Shawn (Shaun) are so incredibly kind, and are an absolute breath of fresh air in the morning. I love the sausage, egg and cheese on Asiago Bagel, and there drinks are fantastic. Keep up the great work!
google avatar

Trisha W.

Yelp
I'm going to be a straight up tourist about this! This is Panera, what what?! Ok, so I didn't eat here, but I did go through the drive through. My friends got salads to go for the plane ride. They seemed to be very pleased with their orders from Saint Louis Break Co. / Panera. I can't believe I went here, Panera is blowing up everywhere... I've only been to one Panera in New York and I didn't think much of it.. but I still think it's cool that I got to visit here. If you have friends in town you should definitely take them here. Saint Louis pride. Fast service at the drive through! Great for a meal on the go.
google avatar

Abbie G.

Yelp
This location should stop taking order ahead curbside rapid pickup orders. Last two visits were terrible w/ wait times of 40 minutes after the scheduled pick up times. They also sell out of items you select and pay for(even when ordering the night before). I'll stick to the drive thru..
google avatar

Joan B.

Yelp
I love Panera/St. Louis Bread Company. I especially love to order soups with bread for lunch. Today I ordered delivery from the Chippewa store. The lunch was delivered on time, however, the croutons were not included in the package nor was the real butter that I love with their bread. I called the store and asked why there were no croutons for the soup? I spoke to Kevin the manager and he said the croutons were not ready when my order came up and he sent it out without croutons. Now, anyone that likes onion soup knows that it is great with the garnishes. Sort of bland without. He said he is NOT sending out croutons. I said he should have kept the order until the croutons were cooked. At this point he was snotty and ignorant. I reminded him HE was the one making the mistake; not me. I ordered almost $40 worth of food and he feels he can raise his voice to me. He also said that I can come pick up the garnishes. He also offered to send me a pick two coupon. I declined. The food for the next time does not fix the problem with mistakes, attitude and mishandling a customer's phone call. I recommend that anyone reading this should use the Webster Groves Panera location as they are super to work with and most of the time their orders are correct.
google avatar

Maureen R.

Yelp
I do not know why I keep giving this St. Louis bread Co. a chance. During the beginning of Covid I ordered and had delivered and the order was wrong and they never made it right and never acknowledged. Today I went in and an employee with no mask walking around asking where are the masks, where are the masks. it just felt dirty and no one waited on me and I just cannot see myself going back

Joseph L.

Yelp
Incredible online service. One of my drinks were taken by the driver, and when I called in the respondent was so helpful. I appreciated the upbeat tone and response, on top of that the food is always great.
google avatar

Deborah A.

Yelp
I ordered delivery to my place of business...driver left my incomplete order outside ! There is a doorbell outside for clients but he didn't use it! The order was wrong omitted a bakery item but he didn't tell me! It took me 5 different calls to actually get the manager, Jenna, who was unable to credit my account for just the missing item but said just tell them next time they owe me a brownie as if I'm going to order again! So my mediocre sandwich cost me $17.43! Really disappointed
google avatar

Garricka A.

Yelp
I pulled up here about 7 minutes before close, which I know is last minute but still enough time to order and get out before close.I came straight from work. No one answered at the drive thru until I spoke up. Was told they were closed, clarified that they close at 9, and then told them it was 5 til 9. The person on the headset then said they were out of bread because they had already donated it. I wasn't interested in any bread, which they would have known had they asked what I wanted. I was also not interested in ordering somewhere I clearly wasn't welcome.

Luis P.

Yelp
So disappointing!!! I ordered a take-out Baja Mac and cheese, but got a regular one... it was also disgustingly cold - as in - took it out of a refrigerator cold. Really??? Couldn't they even touch the bowl and check before serving it? Gross. Service was slow, they didn't seem to care and the place is unkempt. Napkins, bread crumbs, random stuff on tables and on the floor. The bread is hard and not fresh. What happened ?? This used to be a nice fast casual place to comfortably eat a nice light and WARM meal. It is not a place worth going to. Who manages this place? Looking at all the other reviews, my experience is not the exception.
google avatar

Katie H.

Yelp
Rickey the team manager is one of the most nicest and incredible managers I have ever met on this earth. I'm not joking. He was very attentive and made sure we felt welcomed. We came in right when they were closing and usually any type of team member would be exhausted from a long day of work. He greeted us like we were the first costumers there even though he's dealt with hundreds of people today. He still made everything personable. I will be visiting this Panera more because of Rickey. I wish I could give more stars to this review please go there and whoever is Rickey's boss PLEASE give him a raise he deserves it for being the good human he is. :)

Yelp
This Panera is to be avoided. Place an order online last night at 6:50, did not receive delivery until 8:47. Tried call the store directly, but of course no one answers. Then when we check the order our Steak and White Cheddar sandwiches were made on regular sandwich bread. For a 10 dollar sandwich it should come they way it is described. I totally understand running out of a certain bread , but let the person know. Also, soups had to be changed due to running out.

Shelby W.

Yelp
I typically only get St Louis Bread Co to splurge or treat myself, imagine my surprise when I go to eat my sandwich and it is only egg, salt, pepper, and bread. I ordered a bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit on brioche and an iced cinnamon crunch latte. I got an ONLY egg sandwich on ciabatta with a HOT coffee. Very disappointed and frustrated. Will not be going to this location again!!!

Yelp
I am writing this review in the hopes that the management team will coach and train their team at this location. Consistently, the staff has been rude or it's uncomfortable because they are not kind and they seem very unhappy to work there. Today, I was rushed through the ordering and then when I got to the window, the only words spoken were the cost of the meal and I was silently handed my food. It's just uncomfortable because it makes you feel like you are burdening them with your presence. Another day, I asked if caffeine in a certain drink and the guy laughed and said why would ask that, I've never heard of caffeine in that drink. Bad energy :-(

Yelp
This review gets a 5 because of Nancy who took my order today! I went in for a work lunch. I'm doing the Whole 30 eating plan so that makes it hard to eat at restaurants - no dairy, sugar, legumes or bread! That eliminates almost everything. Nancy took my order and I told her I'd have the kale Caesar salad with no cheese. I told her of my restrictions (I expected the dreaded eye roll for the time it would take to tweak my whole order). She enthusiastically jumped in to tailor it to fit my needs. She took out what I couldn't have and added In some veggies to replace them. She was very sweet and helpful. Thanks Nancy for making a difficult situation easy!
