St. Luke's Health - Brazosport Hospital - Lake Jackson, TX

I had to have x-rays recently. From the time I arrived at the hospital at check in until I left the radiology department was only about 45 minutes. I was treated with respect from the time I walked in until I left. The technician in the radiology department was very thoughtful. She explained what she was doing and I felt comfortable and well cared for. I highly recommend St. Luke’s Brazosport Hospital’s radiology department.

The staff and their treatment was excellent. The doctor refused to splint my broken leg until I allowed him to administer pain medication. I suggested that he splint my leg and if I could not handle the pain, then I would request the pain medication. I drove myself to the ER and he didn't want me to drive myself home. I then had to call my wife, (what I wanted to avoid), so he could administer the medication and then splint my leg.

Doctors n nurse were great. My Doctor did not see me for 4 days , Hospital Doctor looked after me and kept me alive and comfortable. I’m very disappointed that I was kept in the hospital and did not get anything resolved with my health . It was not the Hospital fault it was Dr Raslan whom did not come see me or run the test the day after I was admitted, that he told me at his office the day I went to ER with major chest pain and he was to do a procedure the next day and did not come see me but showed up 4 days later to run a procedure and He did not in fact fix anything only said everything looked fine BS I have 50% to 40% blockage BP is barely getting above 100/ 76 . Follow up only result in Dr Raslan wanting to do more tests in 6 weeks . Still has not told or conferred with me on how my heart is going to get fixed. Thanks to the nurses for keeping me safe and alive and Hospital Dr for tending to me also.

From the Emergency room to the Hospital , every person from top to bottom was best experience ever from a Medical facility, they all cared , from Dr, Nurses ,Med tech, Kitchen , custodial, Room was exceptionally clean , food was great ! Medical Leaders listened to me ! A+ Well done SAINT LUKES THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY AND HELPING ME WITH MY COPD !!

Professional, caring, understanding and considerate. I was in and out of there with in 60 - 90 minutes. The PA was direct and payed attention to my details and diagnosed, as what I was aware of my body and history of my conditions. She got me started on my prescription immediately. Thank you very much!!!

The ER staff was fantastic, but my inpatient doctor spoke as if he knew nothing about diabetes. My nurse was more knowledgeable than he was, and was far more helpful on preparing me for my journey with diabetes. A doctor shouldn't be assigned to a patient if he has little to no knowledge.

I do not have a complaint about the staff or doctors at St Luke’s Cancer Center . This is about St Luke’s. Run as fast as you can from this organization. For most of us that have to use the Cancer Center it’s a trying and hard time. Last thing we need is for a facility to care less and price gouge. If you go to this facility st Luke’s adds a facility charge onto your bill. The legislature in Texas has attempted to address these excessive charges by passing. Texas Senate Bill 1232 (and its companion House Bill 2556) address this issue. Attempting to circumvent it St Luke’s now lists it on your bill as treatment room. Understand that your insurance or Medicare will not pay these fees. And St Luke’s do not tell me that this a common charge for specialists it is not. I see other specialists in the Methodist system and have never had such price gouging fees added. I don’t know how any of you sleep at night and feel good about what you’re doing. Shame on you

This hospital really needs to improve their staff. The work being done in the hospitals needs to have a qualified staff. Or a staff that likes this line of work because they want to help people and not just for a paycheck. Not all the staff only if the shoe fits.

I had to use the lab here and let me tell you I won't be coming back. Nothing but problems from the last at. The patient access registration deks, talk about attitude. There really isn't anyone here that does not have an attitude problem. They must not have people beating down the door to work here cause anywhere else they would be fired.
