"Just across the road from Bermondsey Square, this is the perfect spot to chill away from the busyness of the Friday market or just to take time out for a coffee or lunch. The church itself is late 17th century and is a Grade ll* listed building, so worth a visit for all those history lovers." - Superfantastic
Nice little park space in historic church grounds - open to the public. Close to the all the cool stuff happening at Bermondsey street and 5 mins to the Shard and Guy’s Hospital etc

St Mary Magdalene churchyard is a public park popular with locals. The churchyard was closed for burials in 1854 when most London churchyards were overcrowded and a thus health hazard. This churchyard contains a number of tombs notably the tomb of the Rolls family (of Rolls Royce fame). The churchyard is now in the care of Southwark Council.

The former graveyard closed in 1854.
Though clean and maintained, boasting a variety of mature trees this is for the most part a drab, colourless and enervated patch studded with some scattered crumbling tombs, gravestones and a Victorian ornamental drinking fountain.
Oodles of potential here and not hard to imagine that touch of inspired landscaping, would work wonders here.

Small park located close to most cafés, restaurants etc. Nice spot to enjoy the sun with a coffee.

Pleasant city park next to Tower Bridge Road. Former cemetery of St Mary Magdalene church, which still hosts some tombs (including those of the ancestors of Charles Rolls, of Rolls-Royce).
The park is open 24 hours, has a number of benches along the pathways, and is a favourite park for local dog owners. Ambient traffic noise due to the abutting road ways.

Lovely historic local park used by lots of dog owners and has a nice community feel to it. A quaint tea hut at the entrance on the corner of Bermondsey Street that always has a bowl of water for the doggos.
