Great atmosphere and drinks. We tried loaded fries...which were not good. Soggy, bacon was oily. The only redeeming item was Ketchup..

Loved loved St. Patrick's. The food was great. The drinks were great. We met some fabulous people from our home state in SC. Met the general manager or owner John. And his family was there and their friends. Great hospitable people. That's a big deal when you are from the south. Will definitely go back. P.S. We went there 3 times. So good.

Google
Very exciting find. Searched for restaurants near my hotel that served wings three different times and did not see this as a suggestion. While walking saw the sign and decided to investigate. Will definitely be back on future visits to new York. Next time I will try an entree... maybe. The appetizers were delicious and the make it yourself tray was great. I do not drink, but the drink specials were varied. Went during happy hour, so it was pretty packed but still comfortable. Wait staff friendly and attentive.

Google
Stopped here after work and it didn’t disappoint we ordered a few appetizers and some beers. They have a great selection of beer and whiskey and Erin is one of the best bartenders I have met on my journeys. I ordered a red horse ale and drank about half of it when she noticed it looked flat, they changed kegs and she poured me a fresh one that definitely tasted better. Most bartenders wouldn’t bother but Erin did

Google
I made an exciting discovery! I had searched for restaurants near my hotel that served wings three separate times and never came across this place as a recommendation. While walking, I noticed the sign and decided to check it out. I'll definitely return on my next trip to New York. Next time, I might try an entrée, but the appetizers were fantastic, and the make-your-own tray was a great touch. Although I don't drink, the drink specials offered a nice variety. I visited during happy hour, so it was busy, but still comfortable. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive.

Google
The least Irish, Irish restaurant in NYC. Food was crazy bland and tasteless. Hardly any Irish dishes at all, mostly Mexican food but not nearly as good as a Mexican restaurant. Mexican twist on something perceived as Irish dishes perhaps other than Philly Cheese Egg rolls…. Not sure what was going on there. Paper thin chicken for our kid. The first piece he ate was fish and I confirmed fish. We mentioned it to staff and the rest was indeed chicken… I believe there was just 1 piece of fish mixed in which is not shocking or that big of a deal. They were very nice and removed it from the bill since it was like eating newspaper anyway. Didn’t eat 1/2 the tasteless fish tacos. Finished wings because we were famished from our 6 hour drive but the microwave ones from the grocery store would give them a run for their money and win. Staff was friendly and helpful, food was extremely disappointing and we left hungry with lots of food on the table.

Stopped in here after some shopping and sightseeing last weekend. Service was great, fish and chips was decent. Overall a good vibe. It was quite heavy on the Conor McGregor/Forged branding though, which was a little bit off-putting given recent events in Ireland. Maybe there hasn’t been time to remove it yet but it’s not such a great look to be honest. Aside from that it’s a decent spot.

Google
A casual atmosphere with a wide variety on the menu. Apps, burgers, wings, sandwiches, salads, dinner entrees. Something for everyone with EXCEPTIONAL service. We had fried calamari (more crust than the squid taste), Buffalo Chicken wrap, and a Messy Burger (which had lots of tastes and a good burger taste). Finished with a piece of cheesecake.

Yelp
It was packed, but we were able to get a table towards the back & watched part of a game. We all ordered Hot Toddies/Irish coffee! Shared an appetizer sampler plate for the 4 of us. Great vibr!

Bryant G.

Yelp
Everything was mediocre. It felt like eating at a Applebee's. We had the Shepard's pie which was more like a sloppy Joe mix with mas potatoes on it. The teriyaki chicken was a little tough and not very good. To top it off they didn't advise no free refills so we paid $20 for two cokes plus 1 refill each. With so many good choices close by I'd never eat here.

Carol P.

Yelp
We popped on here during our hustle through NYC just to catch Auburn vs. Georgia. Turns out, this was a dedicated Auburn hub! We had a great time and met great people. The staff were fun too! The service was friendly and attentive. We had the sampler appetizer with chicken tenders, calamari, and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls stole the show. The tenders were good. The calamari was not what we usually experience. The pieces were very wide and large. They did not have flavor and they were difficut to chew. We just left them on the plate and worked around them.

Yelp
Our server was great. We wanted to eat away from Times Square. Ended up here and had a great time. We sat at the bar and just enjoyed the food and quaint atmosphere. My St. Paddy's Melt was delicious. Juicy. Flavorful. Fries were well seasoned. It was even more delicious later that night. The bread had a chance to soak in the meat juices and Russian sauce. Finished every morsel.

Yelp
Had good drinks here, but bartender forgot to place our fries order. When we inquired he admitted to forgetting, and at this point kitchen is closed. He's super apologetic, we are kind. Mistakes happen. He offers guac and chips "on the house". We agree. Get the bill, 10% off the guac and chips. Thought they're on the house? Embarrassing that now we have to ask for something for free that we never wanted to begin with. We figured we'd remind him, and he'd say "my bad" (again). Nope, he claims he never said on the house, that he said 10% off LOL. My friend and I are wondering if we are in the twilight zone. Eventually he removes one drink from the bill, and even after we tip 20% he does not make eye contact or say a word as WE say thank you and leave. Also, there was a random $3.00 "surcharge" on the bill. Wtf does that even mean? Def won't be back here.

Yelp
This is your classic happy hour spot with happy hour prices. We sat on one of the outdoor tables - very busy like all Irish pubs. I got the Paloma cocktail which was fruity and tasty even on an empty stomach. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks which impressively passed the string test and the chicken tender which was saucy on the outside but very dry on the inside to where I had to use a knife to cut the pieces. It's an overall solid place and I gave it 4 stars when comparing it to all the other pubs. Not gonna knock your socks off but a satisfactory post-work wind down spot.

Drew W.

Yelp
Nice casual bar with good service and reasonable prices. Very good strong drinks. Came for a work happy hour.

Christopher H.

Yelp
Was a great place to get out of the cold before going to a show the service was excellent and ambiance was incredible a great time was had

Arielle P.

Yelp
Super friendly service, delicious food, and comfortable and cozy atmosphere! I loved my experience here and will come back!

Cahlyn A.

Yelp
The food was very bland, fries were more like crisps, the burgers were cooked perfect but they were very bland and they didn't listen to the stuff I wanted on my burger. Took 50+ minutes for our food to come out. Calamari was rubbery and bland. Soda was flat and the syrup was floating on the bottom and it tasted like water. The waitresses checked on us 2 times in the 2 hours we were here. Music was to loud but the vibe was cool. Overall i think is was a Sad experience

Teddy P.

Yelp
Great ambience....Great Bartenders!! Beautiful spot and great location...if you're in Manhattan especially around the holidays stop by!

Ryan B.

Yelp
Excellent food compared to most if not all bars/pubs. The down stairs bar is nice and they have a very nice bartender working days. Definitely a lunch spot.

April P.

Yelp
St. Pat's was a great experience! The service was excellent! Our bartender, Dyramid, was friendly and very helpful! The food was also delicious and the ambiance was perfect! I loved the Christmas decor; it was very cozy and festive!!

Melissa M.

Yelp
I stopped in for a meal at St. Pat's Bar & Grill and it was a fantastic experience. For starters, I like how they now offer outside roofed seating so if you aren't t to keen on eating indoors you have an open air option. The staff were friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. the portions and prices were comparable to competitors. Always worth stopping in and I'm looking forward to visiting again soon.

Rebecca K.

Yelp
This three-story bar is such a fun place to eat, drink and watch games. The bar hosts the local Auburn University alumni club (War Eagle!) and it's decorated appropriately. I had a spinach salad with shrimp. It had blue cheese and walnuts and was absolutely delicious and felt healthy! Service was great! The Auburn folks were awesome!

Yelp
After mass at St . Patrick's Cathedral in the morning, wife and I finished the day at St. Patrick's Pub. Sunday night around 10:30. Bartender, I think Jameis if I remember correctly, was a friendly barkeep from Ireland, with the nice Irish accent. He introduced me to Forged beer, similar to Guiness but better imo, very tasty and smooth. Went well with a Baileys. Enjoyed hearing his stories about Ireland. We didn't try any food but they had a nice menu, and the rooftop was being renovated but I would love to go back and check that out when it's finished. There are a lot of Irish Pubs in NYC, and I only tried this one and one other, but I did enjoy the service here, and we chatted with a local for a bit- I'm sure they get many tourists like us, but it's nice when locals visit your establishment it seems to lend some authenticity. I don't leave too many yelp reviews, so the fact that I am leaving one here says a lot about the good time my wife and I had, and hope to visit again someday soon.

Yelp
Spent a week in NYC and visited/ate @ St Pat's Bar & Grill 3 times. We stayed in hotel close by and we walked passed a couple of restaurants on the way to St Pat's. Never thought of eating anywhere else. The food & drinks were great, over the visits, we had flatbread pizza, salads, burgers... we even stopped by there after the theater for drinks. LOL LOL The last time, we met John and started up a conversation. Unknown to us, we were sitting beside his delightful family. He & they just welcomed us in like we were old friends. We plan on returning soon & this St. Pat's Bar & Grill.... will be on the "short list" of places to visit/eat at again. P.S. Had different servers/waitress/bartenders with each visit. All equally personal & professional, smiles & manners..........Visitors like that, reminds us of out community in South Carolina. Steven/Spartanburg S.C..

Yelp
Dropped by on a Wednesday afternoon before going out to dinner. The bar service was friendly and efficient. The drinks were well-made, but nothing out of the ordinary, and the beer selection was very, very standard. Not a bad place to drink a sip, but I have a feeling that NYC has a lot of better, more interesting places.

Tom R.

Yelp
Irish Curry Chicken terrible and overpriced. Just rice and fries and a tiny piece of sliced dry, tasteless chicken. Fish tacos tasted good but overly spicy. Makes you wonder if they are covering up for day old fish! Adding 20% and up for tip AND a credit card fee is outrageous.

John F.

Yelp
Attended a big party at St. Pat's, and the bartenders kept all my food and drink orders straight. They did a great job.

Kimmie R.

Yelp
St. Patrick's Pub was a nice find. We were going to the spa across the street and decided to check them out. The drinks were nicely mixed and fairly priced. The decor was really cool and aligned with the traditional Irish Pub style. The food was excellent and I would definitely go there again. It's a busy neighborhood, but the staff was attentive, friendly, and everything you'd expect from excellent customer service. When the waitress noticed that I was almost done with my drink instead of asking if I wanted another she asked if I wanted her to "refresh my drink", I can see how certain people may assume she means to add on to the existing drink but it's for a charge. lol When she says, "refresh" she means would you like a whole new drink, I knew what she meant but I believe some may not. When we arrived at the pub we were the only people of color and as soon as we walked in all of the patrons stared at us and followed us with their eyes as we walked to our seats. Why did I stay? It was only the other bar patrons who stared, none of the staff behaved this way and you'd think with New York being such a diverse neighborhood people wouldn't stare so bold and rudely. My friend had skin discoloration because she has vitiligo, which again should not have made the patrons stare that hard, but they did. The staff on the other hand observed how rude the patrons were and they were probably extra nice to us because of it. Overall, I enjoyed myself and would definitely go again. You never let anyone run you out of a place that has good food, good service, and a good location.

Yelp
Extremely Slow service do not come here if you want to do anything else. Several people ppl e came and left without staff even coming over

Justin K.

Yelp
Francis was such an amazing bartender! Took the time to build connections with us, and was very accommodating. Nice ambience, especially with the Christmas decor.

Calvin I.

Yelp
The foos was meh and bland ...the service was slow and we didn't get all of our food. I would not recommend or go back.

Clarissa E.

Yelp
Dropped in after work for a quick drink with a friend. Ordered 2 vodka tonics...and a few appetizers.... Let's start with the drinks....i told the waitress/bartender that it tasted "wierd" I asked if they poured tonic? She proceed to "scold me" LMAO... and says YES! It's tonic, it's from the hose..If I give you another one it's going to taste the same!!! really is that a response you should give a customer!! Now let's go to the food.... I don't know about you but the last time I checked French fries should not be served frozen!! That's right we were given a plate of fries mostly FROZEN! We asked for the bill and the very rude waitress comes over and looks at me and says... You didn't like anything ! Yup! can't make this up!That's the first and last time I'll ever Go there!!! There are so many great pubs in the area sorry this place isn't one!!!

Joe C.

Yelp
We stopped in here after seeing a show on Broadway. The waitress took our order, then 10 minutes another one came and re-took the order. About 20 minutes later she returned and said two of the items we ordered were no longer available-- 20 minutes later!!- They hadn't even started the order yet- So we ordered different items. When the orders came up they forgot another one!!!! They said we could wait 15 minutes while they made another one, and our friends could watch us eat and wait. One of the meals came up with vegetables that were stone cold! One meal was ice cold while one was piping hot and another lukewarm... and the last one missing- We expressed our concerns and they could have cared less. They ran out of pasta- on a weekend!

Allison H.

Yelp
It's not terrible but it's not great. The staff are great very attentive. We were there for the World Cup. Perfect to go for a beer and to watch a game of football. No need to read further if this is all you are looking for. The menu and reason for the deduction of the star. I guess my expectation because of the name there would be more Irish food options. Like an Irish breakfast. They did have some options like chicken curry which they put their own spin on. It tasted great but not a curry as I would define it. Also they didn't understand what a chicken curry half and half was. My husband had the fish and chips which he said was OK. But when he asked for a side of curry sauce he got a bit of a head tilt. They did however give him some. They also had shepherds pie. My other friend had chicken tenders. We were surprised because she received (I think) 5 pieces of chicken slightly smaller than a breast. So while not many they were huge. The food was very expensive for both bar food and that served in a bar. But I guess the 'and Grill' in the name and location was justifying the cost. So if you want something to eat I would say go somewhere else.

Melanie H.

Yelp
Great food and service! Great variety on the menu! We went twice while in NYC. Enjoyed our drinks to cool off from the heat.

Kathleen O.

Yelp
Friends and I had lunch at St. Pat's last week before a Broadway matinee. The menu selections were extensive and varied. Food simply superb and reasonably priced. Great service! Though we took advantage of the great weather to eat outside, the use of beautiful wood and other details in the interior design were eye-catching. Easy to imagine how cozy it would be on a cold or dark day. Look forward a return visit next time in NYC.

Bill L.

Yelp

Joe L.

Yelp
Sat outside at this restaurant located only a block from Times Square. Had the fire alarm burger and it was great. Also tried the pretzel and it was good as well. Beer was cold and server was friendly. Would definitely go back.

C V.

Yelp
Happened in here yesterday after getting off the train to Grand Central. Wanted to catch the second half of the football game, and the guys there couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating setting up the TV right in front of me with the game. Absolutely fresh and delicious Smithwick's ale, and contrary to most Irish pubs-The nachos were really delicious! Totally recommend for anyone who's on their own or a group of friends -nice place with delicious food!

shelby a.

Yelp
I never review places but I felt like my experience needed to be shared. My family and I were staying close to this pub and went two nights in a row. Night 1 was awful. We ordered 3 salads and 1 pasta; 30 minutes later our server comes over and apologizes and says that he put our orders in and somehow they were never made. All was fine, 3 out of the 4 of us reordered our food. Another 30 minutes go by and we finally get our food. The order was wrong and our server tried to blame it on us. Although the service was not great, we decided to go back the next night because the food was pretty good. Night 2 was awful as well. We ordered drinks and food and never saw our server again until we had to go get our own silverware and go to the bar to ask for more drinks. One of our dishes was ICE COLD to the touch and when we complained we got attitude from the servers and food runners. I will say that the food is not bad. The food is pretty decent pub/bar food. What sucks is the service. The manager was nice however and did work with us.

Yukang C.

Yelp
Nice liquor mixed drinks Nice easy chew Irish transitional dishes Good for workers and tourists

Beth G.

Yelp
Close to the hotel and happy to find a bar that had a decent fish fry during lent. Went to go back after a show at radio city musical hall and the grill.closed at 11. So that was bummy.

Rian A.

Yelp
Would not recommend going here. Definitely not worth the money. Was truly disappointed in the service and the food.

Cassidy H.

Yelp
Been a great host to us as the Jacksonville Jaguars bar in NYC. Always have friendly bartenders and the management takes good care of us. Even when it's slow it's great to stop by for a quick beer. We're lucky to have St. Pats in NYC.

Evelyn A.

Yelp
Great Pub if your sight seeing in NYC .. my hometown! The staff of friendly and the food is great. Atmosphere is great to grab a drink and appetizers. Really good spot don't miss out!

Nicole D.

Yelp
Karl, the bartender, is amazing and that accent though!! It's an amazing pub with a great atmosphere. I will definitely make this stop every time I travel to NYC. Sláinte!

Bianca R.

Yelp
I went to New York for 72 hours and when I tell you I stopped here 5 times for food, drinks or both. Our friend, Dave recommended this place and it never disappointed. The food was delicious and we tried a lot of food. Drinks were delicious, good quality and strong. The hostess, bartenders and waiters were all polite and efficient. I absolutely loved this place. I would recommend this place to everyone who visits New York!

Lynn G.

Yelp
5 stars for service/atmosphere. 4 for food. Fine for the category of place. Typical NYC Irish pub. Soccer games on TVs. Typical menu. Shepherds pie, bangers, fish n chips. Super service though. And a great respite from Times Square bs. Gaelic chicken, ok/tough-ish but the mashed potatoes and gravy made up for it. The bar was busy so I had a table solo, and it wasn't a problem. Happy hour wine $7 is fine for me in NYC!! Even at tables. Usual pop rock retro music. Was going to head out when I was done, but comfy here and cozy on this drizzly night. Ordered a coffee and hung out rather than face the crowds at nearby Starbucks. Glad I did. Charged phone. Recharged me. Nice. Would come back.

Jordan H.

Yelp
I went here last night with my friend for a drink before a dinner reservation. They have happy hour menus (12-8 daily) on every table for $6 drafts. We ask the bartender what's included he points and the options and we choose a bud light. We each have two and are in a rush to make our reservation so I just go to the bar to give my card to ring us up. When looking at the bill it says $33 so I ask if he gave us the wrong tab. He says no and we go back and fourth about what I got how it's on happy hour. Long story short he says it's not happy hour and the menu is out by mistake (on every table) and that they won't honor the price. It was a $9 difference so I just didn't tip and left rather than waste time asking for a manager. But this is clearly fraudulent advertising and horrible customer service. I hope the owner/manager sees this and can speak to the bar tender.

NuRon N.

Yelp
Friendly & nice but the food is not worth eating. Go a east of the library and find much better Irish

Ryan C.

Yelp
Ordered a yuengling. A warm pale ale of some other variety was served. The bartender was clueless, hardly knew what beer even was.

James S.

Yelp
One of the best honey mustards in the greater NYC area! Todd loved his salad also. Clean plate club! Messy burger could of been messier! Cheesecake was fabuloso according to Eric!

Janet C.

Yelp
I was in NYC last weekend and found this little gem. The food was great and the Expresso Martini was absolutely delicious. Peter, the owner, made us feel right at home, along with his brother. The live music was awesome too. Over three days we went there three times. I highly recommend you stop in and check it out.

Alexandra M.

Yelp
The worst service ever! Bartender is very rude and security guy gives me creepy looks. The worst experience in New York.

Alex M.

Yelp
My friends and I had an amazing time. Terrific food, great drink, and the best music hope my travels bring me back here.

Tom O.

Yelp
What can I say about this bar Great selection of food and drinks very warm and welcoming staff Who go out of their way to accommodate their customers food always come out quick and the fires are amazing great for a quick work luch or to have a night out
