Fun atmosphere. Sporty. Great service! Alesha was fantastic! My only suggestion is … Bingo was too loud if you are NOT playing… might be nice if they allowed for an area to have lower volume for the bingo announcing. Great place overall! Great fried pickles! Comfy booths!

My coworkers and I have come to St Paul Tap for years for end of the semester gatherings because of the great space, fun entertainment offers and the variety of delicious dishes, something for all. Another reason - the staff! They are always welcoming and kind. Especially Michaela, she is awesome at her job and my coworkers were so impressed and thankful for all she did. Everyone had an amazing time and a good part is owed to the hospitality Michaela and your staff provided. Thank you!

We dont get out often but this little gem..the waiter was absolutely amazing. The food was great, and the shared drink..was definitely a hit. All around a good vibe. Good for a date night or family night out.

Google
Fantastic food and great service. Went during off hours, and it was just us and a couple of guys at the bar. Kids had a good time with the arcade games - pricing wise, same as any other arcade - points run out FAST.

Google
Had my first ever juicy Lucy here. Mikayla and Bailey (I hope that spell is correct) were both incredible bar tenders and I’d come back for their conversation and personality alone. 5 stars? Nah, more like 10!

Garrett H.

Google
Had a large group of people were accommodated very well. All the food was excellent. The drinks were cold and the spirits were high. Had an absolute blast. 10/10 would recommend!

Brad B.

Google
I had the Juicy Lucy with bacon n bbq, pepper jack inside and ghost pepper cheese on top. The burger was perfectly cooked and soooo good!! My wife loved her pesto pasta, it has everything in it that she likes but noone else in the family does. Also my Jeep got ducked for the first while we were there.

Google
The food was delicious, and we loved the variety of games they had. I'm a huge fan of pinball as well as pool which they both had as well as some other retro arcade games. Cha was our server and he was super friendly and helpful with telling us about the town. He absolutely slayed! 😄I had the pesto pasta, my husband had one their burgers and we both loved it!!

Yelp
My review - 3 stars My partners - 5 stars Thus, I'm giving it 4 stars hahaha. I bet many couples would share these opinions hahaha Good - friendly service! Big patio with outdoors bar. Fine prices. Huge menu. My partner loved the wrap and fries. I saw a variety of patrons. Meh - Stick to the menu items that a bar would do best haha. Avoid some of the fresher "specials". The soda from outside was flat/weird tasting. It was dead on a Saturday over lunch, take that as you will!

Yelp
Went to St Paul Tap for the first time Friday. It was a fun bar/restaurant. They had lots of video games for the kids and adults alike. They have an outdoor seating space but not much to look at since its next to the parking lot but it's fresh air none the less. The service was attentive and quick. Plenty of parking. We went with the appetizer platter and supreme pizza and our friends ordered the pulled pork nachos and cheese curds. The platter came with fried pickle spears, cheese curds and tator tots covered in queso, applewood bacon and pico. They have an assortment of burgers, pastas, and salads as well as many other options. Happy hour is $2 off all apps and they have drink specials as well. Most importantly-they have the GOOD ranch dressing!

Yelp
they don't want your business. they stop letting people in at 12:30 so if you happen to show up at 12:35 you just wasted your time and money. not to mention the ambiance on a saturday night is DEAD there is no one there but the bouncers with a thumb up they ahhh
google avatar

Scott P.

Yelp
Major Roadhouse vibes here. Located just off the exit for 35E in St. Paul, big open parking lot, lots of space inside, bouncer scans your ID upon entrance, a space for arcade games and pool but no stage for live music. My sister has lived less than a block away for 15 years and tells me of drunken fights and gunshots being heard late at night... I'm from out of town and have visited my sister many times over the years but have never stepped foot inside. My curiosity finally got the better of me the other night while visiting again. It was a Tuesday night around 9pm so not crowded at all. We didn't have any food, but they had a nice selection of local beers on tap and we all had a few beers each. Our waitress was super friendly. So not as rowdy as maybe a Saturday night would be but overall we had a pleasant experience.

Taylor L.

Yelp
St. Paul Tap was somewhere I stumbled upon when scrolling through Yelp one day and eventually came back to trying it. Doesn't matter what you get on the menu, the food is always good. I love coming during happy hour to get their fried pickles, boneless wings, and chips and guac. I also love that they have such a huge area for playing games, so it's kid friendly and a good time for adults who want to play games too. All the staff that I've talked to are extremely nice and always smiling.

Yelp
They had great burgers! Casual atmosphere and our waitress, Brooklynn, was friendly and provided great service.

Yelp
Ordered the sampler platter, drinks, Mac'n cheese, check pesto pasta. Everything was amazing. My wife is a connoisseur of deep fried pickle spears and these might be the best we've ever had. Wait staff is amazing.

Yelp
I've been here a few times. Some family was renting an Airbnb nearby and we wanted to hang somewhere they could watch a basketball game. It was pretty slow for a Friday night. We all ordered burgers (I got an impossible burger). The food was good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Drinks were good as well. The waitress was nice. A different experience- At night on weekends I guess it's a bar 21+ vibe. We went thinking we would just grab a drink but unfortunately had issues at the door. There was a guy posing as security outside. He checked our bags and held the door open for us where we had to have our IDs scanned and I have one restriction on the back of mine (to wear corrective lenses while I drive) and the man ran my ID through this slow machine over 5 times as if his eyes couldn't validate I was over 21. Then he told me I couldn't bring my purse in after the first "security" checked my bag and said we could go in (he opened the door for us). At that point he made it such a big deal and everyone at the bar was in our business it was like why would I now go put my purse in the car (asking to get robbed) when the "security" could have just told us that outside when it was just us. We left. Wasted so much time in this process, definitely don't want to spend my money there.

Yelp
Great idea for a entertaining restaurant/pub. Kind of on the spendy side, with use of card, not quarters or tokens. Hot, hot, hot. Not sure if the A/C was broken but we were sweating. The game variety is interesting. Some of the games - felt like they were for kids but questionable. A stuffed toy hanging to be cut? A claw machine offering free White Claw from the bar? Maybe not kid appropriate. Some fun throwback games from 80s. The food is not great. We ordered a few apps - nachos, chicken tenders, cheese curds. We arrived at 6pm and spend a solid 2 1/2 hours playing and eating. 2 adults, 2 kids. Spent $60 on games and $40 on food (no drink). Jenga and connect 4 are 'free' but typically busy.

Yelp
My sister came down to visit with her four kids (ages 7-13) so I was looking for a unique place to bring them that could feed us and entertain us at the same time. Less time at my place, less trashed my house gets =) I had visited St. Paul Tap in the past through a Yelp Elite event and decided to come back around to see how things have adapted. The menu was about what I remember, decent bar food and beer selections. The kids were interested in playing in the video arcade while we waited for our food. Food-wise, no complaints. Our burgers were juicy and flavorful and all of the bar snacks were ordered tasted great. I especially loved the deep fried pickle spears and BBQ Nachos, those were winners off of their menu and I would order again. Entertainment wise, there was a good mix of pinball machines and older arcade machines to keep us entertained for a couple of hours (eating included in that time). It was fun to teach the kids about some of the machines I grew up on at my local arcade. One of the girls didn't event know how to play pinball, I blame her mother on that! The only gripe I had when we went was the amount of parentless kids running around the arcade area. It seemed like a bunch of basketball and soccer teams were celebrating various things and the parents just let their kids run wild while they drank themselves happy. I witnessed multiple boys roughhousing and spilling drinks all over the arcade area while frazzled staff tried to keep up with them. Sad. C'mon parents, take control of your children for the sake of other people.

Beatriz B.

Yelp
Very fun place with good, unique drinks. Lots of video games, cranes, as well as lawn games like jenga.

Kailey J.

Yelp
Service was awful. Literally rude to our face and made us walk out the door immediately. Wouldn't recommend to anyone trying to go for a good time!

Yelp
Fun weekend spot!!! Was very impressed with the prices and specials here. The food was delicious for bar food. The staff was attentive and helpful. This is a hopping spot on the weekends so we ready for loud vibes. Overall a great spot to bring a group and hang out!

Joe F.

Yelp
Food was really good, service prompt and cost low. Stopped by to watch Vikings game and plenty of space

Yelp
Fun environment, with arcade games all around! Food is pretty good, this is a place for fun times and good laughs! Be sure to bring your ID because they check for that! They also have security that checks you with a metal detector at the door.

Yelp
My wife and I were in desperate need of a solid burger but didn't want to go to any of the usual joints we frequent. Alas, that was when we thought of St Paul Tap. We see it almost every time we drive on 35E and have talked about going there. Last night we finally did! Atmosphere: 4/5 the games were great and not overly expensive. Plus we didn't want to play a ton after gorging ourselves with food and beverages Food: 4/5. The pretzels were absolutely delicious. Loved the mustard. Beers are always great and they had a good selection! My burger was truthfully, a 3.5/5. Still good and I'd get a different one next time! I got the taps original juicy Lucy and it was alright but a little over cooked. I loved that I could get chips and salsa as a side! I'm not a huge fries person so that rocked! Service: 4/5. It's a seat yourself place and the waitress was reasonably good! Can't complain nor were the wait times long. As a side note: the parking lot is actually kind of small. There is plenty of street and side street parking though. Just a heads up if you have a group of 5 or more and are driving separate. Overall, we'll be coming back here!

Caitlin S.

Yelp
Came in for the first time last week and needless to say I can't wait to come back! Great service, Kayla was a sweetheart.

Yelp
If you're in the market for a true sports & gaming bar with good bar food, you are very likely to be satisfied with a stop at St Paul Tap. For the longest time, I would merely glimpse the sign from 35E, and maybe spot the fully-utilized parking lot, and wonder what they had going on in there. And now I know! The new iteration of what was known as "Tav' on the Ave'" is a large neighborhood-y bar and restaurant with a ton of games. Pool, mega-foosball, mega-table-shuffleboard, mega-Jenga, lots of old and new video games and pinball machines, bingo activities, all that kind of stuff. More than I could even really take in. The games are what will dominate many people's impression of St. Paul Tap, and if you want to go to a place with lots of games options I think you'll be excited to come here. I've tried the build-your-own-burger and also ordered a unique creation of theirs, a Giardiniera burger. I'm not totally sure I'm spelling that right, but it was REALLY good! Huge and flavorful and spicy! So filling. The build-your-own situation is good too; plenty of options at a reasonable price (especially at lunchtime on weekdays). I've had their fries & tots, which were average, and I tried some of their chicken wings which were nice and crispy; their quality surprised me a bit. As part of a recent update, they put in a really cool outdoor seating section. Also, a sign indicates that they are overhauling the parking lot, which is probably a good thing although street parking will do when their lot is full. I think if St Paul Tap were looking for opportunities to improve, they could add some legit desserts to their menu and maybe step up their fried potato game. But I think they deserve five stars for giving their customers a lot of enticing reasons to come and hang out. I feel like some reviewers might be a little too haughty to offer a five-star rating to an ostensibly humble sports bar joint, but they are clearly working hard to excel in this space. I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
Needed a good burger fix last Sunday and really wanted a lot of options cause I wasn't real sure about what kind of burger I was feeling. Luckily they have a great build your own burger option here and I love the endless possibilities of combos. You start with your protein (beef, chicken, ground turkey, impossible) and end with your bun (pub bun, pretzel bun, focaccia, gluten free) and pick a laundry list to thrown in between! We decided to go with a killer app to. Here's what we ordered: BYO Burger ~ ground chuck w/ pink, American cheese, raw red onion, lettuce, jalapeño, smoked bacon, and bacon aioli on a pub bun. **if you ask for pink they truly do give you pink and still char the patty nicely. I loved this combo and couldn't resist going bacon on top of bacon!** Beef Nachos ~ Fresh Fried Tortilla Chips Layered With A Five Cheese Blend & Topped With Queso Cheese, Taco Seasoned Ground Beef, Pico De Gallo, Cilantro, Lime Crema & Guacamole. **the house made tortilla chips here are outstanding and these were some next level nachos that, frankly, I wasn't really expecting from this joint.** If you're Livin for endless flavor combos, stop by and create a masterpiece!

Yelp
I pass by this place and it is packed all the time. I was looking for a new spot to celebrate my birthday with 2 other birthday buddies. Upon entering it smelled like stale beer and BO but we were already there and wanted to play some games and eat some food. The waitress did not look well and did not want to be there. We ordered pizzas, nachos, fried pickled, and cheese curds. The food was very bland, and it was kinda like warm at best. The Beer was kind of stale as well. What shocked me was that they automatically add 20% gratuity to your bill. I like to tip as I have been fortunate this past year and like to help out those in the industry so the waitress got less than she would have. The games were fun but expensive for a minute or two of playtime. I'm sure a lot of folks like bland lukewarm soggy food and stale beer but it's just not my thing. I doubt I will ever go back. Kind of feeling nauseous this morning from eating and drinking there. Maybe this was just an off night but it does not make me want to try it again anytime soon.

Yelp
While expectations for this place were low, I don't know that we will be back. The restaurant felt very busy (definitely more than was allowed with covid restrictions) at the time we visited. Our server tried her best, but her service was nothing to write home about. We gave her the benefit of the doubt with the busy start to our evening, however as the night went on and the restaurant cleared out she still struggled. The food was good, as were the drinks but I'm not sure it was enough to make us want to visit again.
google avatar

Yelp
First of all, I'm only giving it 4 stars due to the lack of tap selection and the service is more typical downtown Minneapolis feeling. Everything else deserves a 5. The service was simply a 4. Real disappointed about the lack of tap selection. Positives of this place however are quite a few. Lots of gaming. Upstairs they have beer pong, shuffle board, arcade style bowling, adult sized jenga. If you were looking to play the beer pong, I'd recommend bringing a different ball, the one that was there sucked. Downstairs their were tons of arcade games, pool tables, and video games. The patio was under construction but can't wait for it to be completed. The burgers we had were cooked amazingly well. The options there for burgers was awesome. Not a lot else on the menu but dear lord the burgers are great. Lots of deals all the time as well. I'll definitely be back, wish I would have gone sooner. One last note, real great cheese curds. Not as great as Shamrocks honey bacon curds but they were real good.

Kenneth D.

Yelp
Best food A-Z and affordable! Excellent patio bar but usually not open even on summer weekends. Great bar service. Great servers!

Yelp
Passing through on a road trip and stopped here for a late afternoon meal. Rating this visit in parts because the atmosphere and service were totally different experiences. Starting with the Good: Bingo: 4. Fun idea on Saturdays from 1:30-4:30 pm. The inside was packed with Bingo players and the cash prizes were legit (up to $1000 in the final round for a $5 buy-in). It's LOUD but people are there for the Bingo, not the conversation. Bonus that there were plenty of big screens playing NFL pre-season games. Food: 4. Decent bar food with an enormous menu and reasonable prices with tons of daily specials. The appetizer menu is quintessential American bar food and a solid list. Enjoyed the Build Your Own Burger concept (starting at $9.99) and that an Impossible Burger was an option. Awesome! Highly recommend adding bacon jam (+$1.49) for some savory yums. The regular fries have a nice crunch too, although the sweet potatoes fries are shoestring and I love a thicker cut fry. Arcade: 5. Bonus star for Pinball Alley. Plenty to do and lots of variety. We played on the extra long foosball table (teams of 4-5) and had a blast. The Not-So-Good: Patio: 3.5. The outdoor seating area does have sliding garage doors over individual booths, so that helps keep the rain out. However, the patio flooded and had pools of standing water. Bring your water-proof shoes. Service: 2. We asked for simple things *3 times*: a cup of coffee (when it finally arrived, it was a half cup from the bottom of the pot as a holdover until a fresh pot was brewed; no stirrer for sweetener) and changing the tv channel to a different station, which never happened (despite asking our waitress twice and the manager twice!). Water cups were never refilled. Sigh. Little things: 0. You know the little things that make for a pleasant meal, like water, condiments, and napkins? Well all of those little things were neglected. The outdoor table was filthy (literal dirt!) and we wiped it off with napkins (see picture). The ketchup bottle on our table was empty. The pencil to fill in the Build Your Own Burger card was dull and had no tip to write (see picture). These are little things that someone who set the table willfully looked over. On their own, no big deal. All together, frustrating. Overall, this is a 3 star experience for me. We were fed and played some fun games. The service needs serious improvement and attention to the small but necessary details for a good meal.
google avatar

Carlos O.

Yelp
They say open until 2am, BUT THEY WONT LET YOU IN AFTER 1145PM. Please tell me why that makes sense? And why that is NOT on the website? What a waste of time. The Door/security were friendly and informative. And expressed the same frustration. I will NOT be back, and I will deter any of my friends from this place. What a bad business plan.
google avatar

Caitlin U.

Yelp
Loved this place. They have some really good beer. Also the food was really good. I loved that they have sports bar with lots of fun games and stuff to play. Parking is free they have a small parking lot. If it is full free street parking is also easy to find.

Cario J.

Yelp
So my bm took me to St Paul Tap last night for my first time. Although the service was great and the food was good. When I left I had food poisoning when I got home I've been struggling all day to recover and it's been tough. Probably will be back for games and drinks but that food idk I'm scared to try again
google avatar

Yelp
Neat bar/grill/ game room. Met another family prior to Wild game. Service was great, food was typical bar food, games amazing... but there were oddly a lot of bugs (in December- in side) had to send draft beer back twice from it.... Wtf.
google avatar

Shauna G.

Yelp
Great food, service and the kiddos loved all the games! We will be back for sure. Thanks

Yelp
This is our favorite spot for daily specials and happy hour. The deals are crazy good and the food is tasty too! We usually share a few apps because the portions are generous and prices are good. We love the loaded tots with homemade queso, the BBQ pork nachos, and most of all the dry rub wings. The tortilla chips in the nachos are fried in house and are super fresh and crispy. The dry rub wings are perfectly cooked every time and have just the right amount of seasoning. The drink specials are great too and they have a lot of local rotating taps. For entrees, we almost always get a burger. The "build your own burger" option gives you endless possibilities. They have a sheet where you pick your protein (chicken, beef patty, impossible veggie burger, etc.) then chose from dozens of options for toppings. Every burger I've had there has been delicious. There's also a lot to DO at St. Paul Tap. There are old school arcade games, pinball machines, new arcade options like Halo, and good old fashioned pool and darts. St. Paul Tap has it all. Good food, lots to do, and great prices.

Pars R.

Yelp
I just love when the bartender makes you give up your ID as Collateral when you order a Moscow Mule. And fails to inform you that "they don't give out the special cups after a certain time" which sounds like a lie. Same bartender charged my card and decided to add her own tip as well the first time I went in. I feel like most of these complaints are all about the same person. Which is actually sad. Lol. It's not my fault you didn't want to go to work that day boo hoo. Can't wait to spend my money elsewhere!!
google avatar

Jackson R.

Yelp
I recently went here to get lunch. It was here prepandemic. First off it was very confusing when we walked in there was a host stand and we waited for a long time before finally going to the bartender and asking him if we were suppose to just seat ourselves. He said yes. Then our waitress came over to help us, she was very pleasant, but kept coughing into her hand. I was pretty grossed out...Covid is spiking and there's a waitress who keeps coughing into her hand. No mask....and delivering our food. When our food arrived it was pretty tasteless.
google avatar

Emily Z.

Yelp
I came here for a work happy hour and had fun playing darts and the arcade games. The 3 stars is for the food. Mostly bar food here which is not unexpected. I tried the cheese curds, pretzels, chips and guac, tater tots, and nachos. They were all just average (maybe slightly below average). Either way, I wasn't expecting the food to be really good but it wasn't terrible. Pretzels were the best in my opinion. I would maybe come again during the night but mostly because it's really close to where I live now.
google avatar

Aaron K.

Yelp
Just checked it out tonight. Had a decent cheeseburger and a few pints. When you check "pink" on the burger order, be prepared for a true medium-rare burger. I can handle it, but some may get a bit queasy. I wouldn't have minded mine a bit more cooked but not so much as well done. They should have more than just a "pink" or "no pink" on the order. Lotsa games, fun atmosphere. Pool and video games. Solid beer and bar. Easy parking, and super convenient right off 35E. For those familiar with Tav On The Ave that St Paul Tap replaces, it doesn't seem that different to me. Maybe more kid or family-friendly perhaps?
google avatar

Bill M.

Yelp
You guys absolutely nailed this renovation! I stopped in for lunch today and had to spend the first 5 minutes walking around looking at all the things. It is so frigging cool in here now! Mom and I split a burger (build your own with the little fill out sheets) and the wild rice soup - it was delicious. The two bartenders were so friendly, and were happy to fill us in on all the details, including the in-progress outdoor bar and booth seating opening this spring. Great great great addition to the West 7th neighborhood!
google avatar

Lex S.

Yelp
This place tries really hard. Solid games. Pool table is in really great shape. Wings were good. It just wasnt the vibe I was looking for which is why I gave it four stars. The place was pretty empty. There were people playing darts screaming at the top of their lungs. Really got on my nerves. Won't be back.

Mika S.

Yelp
We just got back from a team luncheon/party at the St. Paul Tap today and they were great! Our team played a ton of the video games; made a lot of noise; and also made quite a mess and they were perfect! Friendly servers, prompt food delivery, they even turned down the overhead music when I requested it. Lots of folks had not been there before, and for a big group its the perfect place.

Zach A.

Yelp
I've been trying to call them all evening. Didn't answer their phone a single time and no option to leave a voicemail. Unprofessional staff and poor customer service. Bathrooms are always nasty/dirty.

Carlee W.

Yelp
We have been coming to the tap for years. Last night, I went for my birthday because on their website, it says you get a free burger on your birthday. The server said I had to sign up for the loyalty club to do it. It was super easy to sign up, yet my server and the manager working wouldn't honor it. I showed them their website and how it says "enjoy a free burger on your birthday". I showed them the texts that said I signed up for the loyalty club. They still said no. I asked the manager if she could just comp it for me and she said no. Super disappointing. We won't be coming here anymore.

Abbie F.

Yelp
I came here the first time for a yelp event and during the event the service was phenomenal along with the food being excellent. My ultimate Frisbee team plays not too far away from here so after one of our games I invited everyone to go to St. Paul tap and we became regulars. The service here is always top notch! And, that's extremely important to me because many places have good food. They have awesome happy hour specials with some of the best fried pickles I've ever eaten. As a person who can't eat dairy there are plenty of foods I cant eat here and, there are plenty that I can eat. For their burger options they have beef, turkey and impossible burger. I love their chips and guacamole and on Saturdays they have bingo. I also really like their pretzels without butter and cheese although those would make it even better! Great service and great specials!
google avatar

Christina K.

Yelp
Fun neighborhood bar. The bingo is always a great time- fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Yelp
Always a good time, fun staff like Bryant make it an experience every time, 10/10 will go back!

Yelp
Really fun bar right off the 35. Great spot for a good variety of arcade games, bar games and drinks. We played darts, shuffle board, TMNT, pinball. Had a really good drinks special and great service. Glad I found this place, will definitely be back with more people Nice outdoor area too and the tots were great
google avatar

Yelp
Went back today to give it another go. Busier this time. Waited for one of the group of staff who were all talking to each other to come over and help me. No one bothered. Walked around on my own and found some tables ready to be cleared. Went back up front and saw the "seat yourself" sign. Went back to the tables which were now cleared but had "reserved" signs in them. Getting anyone to even ask a question to was difficult, they were far more interested in talking to each other. The "help" I did get was annoyed by my presence. At that point I left. If getting a table was that hard, no thank you. Gave it a second chance. Not recommended.

Brionna W.

Yelp
I sat at the bar alone which is pretty usual for me and there were literally 4 people at the bar the bartender seemed distracted by her own personal issues while she told me she'd be right with me... in that same breath that she told me to wait she could have taken my order. I bartend at a high volume restaurant and bar I wonder how she would do there.. I asked for a menu and she never came back to take my order.. I had to wait for someone else to take it and she was very nice(green hair) and I don't think I would have gotten another drink had 'green hair' didn't ask. I shouldn't have to ask the bartender for anything that's their job! Pay attention to your customers, have urgency, make them feel like they matter. I only come here because it's close to home and I'm sure I'll be back but if the same bartender is working I'll probably sit at a table and get service instead.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this new place. Sports bar, build your own burger, video games old and new, pool tables, giant Jenga, pinball machines.....I mean what more do you want? The build your own burgers are really amazing. The appetizers are quite good and he'll they have Hamms on draft if you need to wash it all down with something light. Here is the 411 on the games. The panel of Xbox & PS4 with fornite are free! Just ask for the controllers with ID credit card. I mean it's free!!!! The rest is a bit pricy but if you are there a lot get the $100 card. Kids are welcome until 10pm. Very very family friendly place. I love the food & ambiance. They got it right!!!

Yelp
Max power. We were lucky enough to show up during the pinball tournament today, so free pinball all night long, thank you Saint Paul Tap. Great beer selection, tasty snacks and the only 8-person foosball table we've ever seen. Our server Dylan, took excellent care of us and helped us with getting our game on. One of our new favorite places, and a great place for a date, if you're gamers.

Yelp
The remodel and rebranding of the former indoor volleyball courts, old Spanky's and Tav on the Ave was just what this spot needed. This is like a mini, homegrown version of Dave & Buster's with an emphasis on 80s classics around the corner in an urban market. Excited about what they may do for the patio remodel come spring. Right off 35E so easy to get go. Daily traditional HH food & drink specials are good and there are a few other daily specials like Wednesday's $6.99 build a burger (includes beef burger, chicken breast or vegan!) that are worthwhile. The food is typical bar food, but the menu options are pretty solid. I had the sausage and mushroom pizza, burger and drink specials so far ($3 Tito's on Thurs and the Pop Rocks Jameson Mule was tasty). The pizza had what seemed like canned mushrooms and had lots of cheese - again bar pizza, but good portion sizes. Burger was cool and cooked perfectly with "no pink" as selected. Oh, and the bacon on the burgers was tasty. I might just get a BLT when salad greens are no longer a health risk). Lots of new staff and they are all fantastic. I sincerely believe the new culture is shifting back to actually making good customer experiences as a focus. I've visited 3 times in the last two weeks and Rueban and Logan were fantastic! The venue's staff is a key factor for the review; they make me want to come back. Pinball machines and 80s arcade games are fun. I invested considerable time in the Iron Maiden game and enjoyed it until my forearm workout had me sweating (add a fan in that area because the airflow is limited behind the floating wall). Fabulous assortment of games. I'll definitely come hang out on a random weeknight with friends to battle pinball, the full shuffleboard tables, pool or maybe even a little cribbage! Bummer you can't hear the pinball sounds over the loud music. Turn the machine volume up a bit or lower the other sound. Lots of TVs and a very large quality projection TV. Great to watch sports here. The venue is VERY LOUD especially the busier it gets. Expect to use more than an indoor voice here and save conversations you want people to hear all of your words for another place. The acoustics aren't the greatest and the volume is loud all over the venue(primarily country, rock and a very light spattering of top 40) regulated by a venue-determined playlist. Apparently, Fri/Sat nights there's a video DJ (haven't experienced yet). No more jukebox or TouchTunes . Bring choice back to the people!!! I can only take so much country music, so unfortunately I won't be able to be a regular that can stay for an extended period in this current music format. Hopefully, the music thing can be adjusted to allow for varied music tastes suitable for ALL. There are other mainstream genres that are appropriate for all ages. In the 8-9 hours over 3 visits, there was NO classic or current R&B selections except one song -- Stevie Wonder's Superstitious. Can this assortment be tweaked?

Yelp
We came here with a big group from my work. It is a huge place with lots of space but limited seating. Beer selection is great, games are fun, and food is good (but nothing to write home about). Good is pretty standard bar fair. Pro tip: when you order the tots, make sure to specify if you want them loaded (you do), otherwise they'll just bring you plain ones. I do have to clarify that our server deserves a 6/5 star review because she kept track of tons of tabs, kept her cool, and was friendly and professional despite a big racket caused by our table.
