I went to this bar for the first time tonight. Since I was providing transportation for some friends that had accompanied me, I only drank water. Not long after I arrived I was chatted up by this friendly girl 'A.' on the outside patio. A. told me about herself and we got along well. She even offered to buy me a drink which I had to politely turn down. At one point during our conversation A. mentioned an argument she'd had with one of the bartenders earlier in the evening. I didn't think much of it and changed the subject, but a couple of hours later the bartender from the earlier argument approached A. and asked her to leave. As the two women started another argument, I kept out of it and tried to mind my own business. So it came as a surprise when the bartender then rudely kicked me out for socializing with the wrong person.
After I left, I heard from the parking lot that the two women were still arguing and a number of other patrons were cheering on the bartender. A couple of minutes later A. came out to the parking lot in tears, telling me that the bartender and some of the patrons had thrown water and ice at her.
I'll admit that A. was outspoken and a little argumentative and that I did not witness the original confrontation. But she was a paying customer who wasn't bothering any of the other patrons and did not deserve the abuse she received.
Needless to say I don't plan to return to this establishment and cannot recommend it to others.
