We hosted a bourbon tasting event at Stable Reserve with our clients, and the experience was outstanding! The staff was knowledgeable, welcoming, and made the evening both fun and educational. The atmosphere is classy yet comfortable—perfect for hosting clients and creating a memorable experience. Their selection of bourbons was impressive, and the tasting was curated beautifully. Yet another stop on the TN Whiskey Trail. This place is a must on your trip to Franklin. First off, really enjoyed the atmosphere. Something about the vibe just felt cozy. It's a good thing I don't live close! Here we each chose the amount of tastings we wanted to do, and we got to choose what items we wanted to taste. So of course, I went for 5 tastings since they are not big and I wasn't driving! 😁 Both my husband and son choose 4 each. For mine, I tried the vodka, gin, straight bourbon, single barrel and bourbon pecan. To be perfectly honest, there wasn't a bad choice. However, it was only after mine were poured my husband mentioned that the bartender chose for him and gave him one with honey, which a brand new release. Maybe I should've let the bartender choose mine as well! In the end, the bartender let me also try their lemoncello, with a charge. But that worked in his favor cause I bought a boytle, where as my son got a bottle of the gin. The bar staff were very pleasant to talk with, even on a busy nighy, and of course very knowledgeable.

Amazing service!! Wonderful full flavored whiskeys! Tastings or cocktails, your preference. Very cozy atmosphere. Perfect date night, before or after a mesl spot.

Employees: Sawyer & Jason The customer service was outstanding — both Sawyer and Jason were polite, friendly, and incredibly attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed The place is exceptionally clean — honestly, one of the neatest spots I've been to. The menu is primarily focused on drinks, many of which are crafted in-house. If you're into unique beverages, you'll definitely find something to enjoy here. However, food options are very limited. It seems the kitchen closes early on Sundays (possibly around 5 PM), as we tried to order a second meal but were told it wasn’t available. Prices are very reasonable, and they also sell a few retail items inside, which adds a nice touch. Overall, I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a great atmosphere to enjoy drinks and good conversation. Just keep in mind — it’s more of a drink-and-chat kind of place rather than a full dining experience.

The ambiance for a night time cocktail is absolutely perfect! We were walking by and couldn't help but stop when we came across Stable Reserve. We were quickly greeted and given the story of how they started and what they're all about. We both ordered espresso martinis, made with their in-house bourbon coffee cream. They were so delicious that we each ordered another. We sampled a few of their spirits as well, which didn't disappoint. We had such a lovely experience that evening, that we came back the following morning for coffee. This spot is a must try in downtown Franklin.

Run, don’t walk, to this place. Service is chill, very knowledgeable of all of their products and spirits, and friendly. I came in on a Monday late morning and it was not busy. Some people were working at the cafe tables and enjoying their coffee. I sat at the bar and tried a delicious espresso martini - the best I’ve ever had, hands down. It likely has something to do with their own bourbon cream. Afterwards I tried a flight of their straight bourbon, wheated bourbon (they also have a few more aged options), and single barrel whiskey. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the flavors on ALL of them and it’s hard to choose between the straight and the single barrel. SO GOOD. The flavor profile descriptions are spot on. I didn’t try any of their old fashioned options but they look amazing and I can’t wait to come back.

Great espresso martinis! GREAT bartender- Fish does it all! Recommendations are great from him don’t miss. Atmosphere/ drinks/ music all hits! Best place in Franklin, it’s my go to!

We visit Stable Reserve frequently and we have always enjoyed the great drinks, food, and atmosphere! The staff Is always kind and incredibly professional! By the way, we enjoy Stable Reserve so much we have trusted their staff to host our family events at their beautiful venue.

This is a great local place to drink. I am A bit confused / concerned if the song writers series benefits charities or not though. At first glance it sounds like it does but then they say during events that merchandise sales will have a very small portion donated. It would be great to know more upfront what Song Writers series money went to as it not cheap if all the money only goes to the owner

We were visiting Franklin on a freezing, cold Sunday and wanted to warm up somewhere with a few cocktails. Stable Reserve was exactly what the doctor ordered! We got lucky and sat in the very back which was perfect for our party of four. It was cozy, warm, and so inviting. Our server was so great and helpful in explaining all of the drinks and spirits. I started with the Lunchbox which was delicious and spirit forward as an Old Fashion should be. My friend and I split The Original Espresso martini for our second drink that they kindly split into two glasses for us. Highly recommend making a stop at Stable Reserve Distillery when you're in Franklin!

All I can say is definitely check this place out!!! We did the Blending class and Brodie was AMAZING!!!! He educated us sooo much and was super helpful! My husband throughly enjoyed tasting and creating his own special Blend! We also found out that this place was the first distillery since prohibition. It's been around many years as it was a working stable in the 1900's. They also found printing ink when the bar was going through renovations and then realized that it was also the home of the local newspaper. But to be honest come here for the total experience with in house libations mixes and good vibes! Also a huge shout out to Beth who handled our reservation and was super on it when our plans changed slightly due to the weather- snowed here and our flight was a little delayed. We can't wait to come back!!! We had charcuterie and pimento cheese- was very good

Visited during Carols and Barrels, so had the chance to try some fun and festive cocktails! Overall ambiance is upscale chill. Good place for a date night or to grab a drink with friends. The cocktails were delicious, just the right amount of boozy without being too strong. Bar staff absolutely know what they're doing. Can't wait to visit again!

An incredibly swanky addition to Main Street! The Stable Reserve offers a dose of ambiance a notch above what I've experienced in Franklin. The layout allows room to breathe & enjoy conversation while sipping & snacking. I tried the "Tres Hombres" (SR take on a spicy margarita, made with jalepeno-infused vodka) & it hit all the right notes. A nice heat level, strong & citrusy - would 100% recommend & will be ordering again! As for snacking, the whipped ricotta is what dreams are made of... I want to slather it on everything. The staff is attentive and engaging. F&B manager, Marcus, told us all about the rich history of the Stable Reserve and we were riveted! Be sure to ask what's behind the name when you pop in. Even better, they double as a coffee shop in the morning! Morning or night, The Stable Reserve is the place for a drink on Main Street!

A nice addition to downtown Franklin! We tried the 412 old fashioned and the 59th & 5th, both were fantastic and the service was great. The sleek, modern design seamlessly blends with classic touches, the atmosphere is fun and inviting. We'll definitely be back!

So my review is based on shopping and not the tasting room. Clearly, this place was a big hit because the amount of people waiting to do flights was crazy...in a good way. They had a bunch of bottles to choose from and different types of spirits as well. I went for the whiskey and vodka (not mixed). The prices were very reasonable and what you would expect when buying direct. The staff was super kind and answered all of the questions that I had. The taste of the whiskey is smooth. Coming from me, that's a big deal since I am not a whiskey drinker.

We were visiting Nashville during Labor Day weekend and decided to venture out to downtown Franklin. We heard that it was a cute little city and we landed on stable reserve serendipitously! It has such a cool vibe, coffee shop/ bar that makes their own vodka, bourbon & gin! Not to mention a lot of cute merchandise - got a little sweatshirt that was affordable and comfy. As for the drinks, one of the employees told me they have the best espresso martinis and since I am an avid espresso martini judge/drinker - had to get it. It was delicious and a must get. Not overly sweet, you taste the vodka while balanced/creamy. Amazing! A must get if you're here. Their gin was also delicious. We prefer more piney flavored gins so it wasn't our favorite but very smooth. Stable reserve please expand and come to Tampa FL

First class service and friendly bartenders. Try the espresso martini. One is excellent. Two are perfect.

We popped in here mid week looking for a good late and it was ah-mazing! The bartender was super friendly and welcoming. We loved hearing the story and about the products. They make their own liqueur and then a latte with that and I would hands down plan another trip to Franklin just for that! Plus the place was clean, and offered plenty of seating - and a bathroom! Which was hard to come by in town. After finishing our lattes we asked to sample the liqueur and a few of their other items. They poured two each at no charge. Needless to say we bought a bottle of bourbon and liqueur.

Have you ever been to the Stable Reserve? Well, maybe you should. It's a distillery and coffee establishment. It has been in business for 3 months off Main Street in Franklin. They specialize in vodka, gin, and bourbon. All 3 owners are native of Franklin, TN, and take great pride in their product. Their space is vast with plenty of seating, wifi, and an easy place to get some work done. They offer handmade truffles from The Coco Tree, another locally owned business that was brought out of retirement to work exclusively with Stable Reserve. Food wise, Stable Reserve offers a small menu including charcuterie, some southern offers such as pimento cheese sandwiches, and hummus. All food is also locally sourced from other Franklin businesses, Daddy Bob's and Hummus Chick. The staff genuinely seem happy here and pretty relaxed. The vibe goes well with the attitudes of the staff, making it just that more enjoyable to be here. It's worth a visit! Good for working remotely, date, spirits tasting, or just grabbing a coffee.

Visiting from IL, we sought out this local distillery. Hubby is the bourbon drinker and the old fashioned passed his approval. My espresso martini was delicious. Gorgeous interior. Love the history in the building. Bartender / owner was a heckuva nice guy as well.

The drinks, the vibes, the service, this place is the spot to hit up in Franklin! Mike served our party of 9 and every drink was perfection. One of the other servers even gave me a blue cheese olive. The espresso martinis were flowing and the gin was the most delicious gin I've ever had in my entire life. Thank you for a fun night!!

We went into Stable Reserve on a whim and I am so glad we did. The service was great, the cocktails were good, and I love the seating throughout the bar. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I come to Downtown Franklin often. Over the past several months, Stable Reserve has become our top spot for cocktails. The ambiance is unmatched in town. The bartenders craft excellent old fashioned and gin cocktails. Plus, their friendly team adds to the overall experience. Stable Reserve's merchandise is worth noting as well. The t-shirts are incredibly soft and fit perfectly. I've got a few compliments on the polo too. Stable Reserve is our go-to spot!

Finally a nice bourbon bar has arrived in downtown Franklin. The history of this place adds to making Stable Reserve more interesting. It's got ambiance and great drinks. The bourbon definitely hit the spot on the smell and taste. It had a nice lingering finish.

Love this place. Excellent wait staff and owners. Fabulous place. Comfortable. Best old fashion in downtown. Their gin blossom was also excellent. And we bought a bottle of the bourbon coffee cream for our bar at home. Will return a lot!

So found this gem in the little town of Franklin that surprised us with its charm. I found the gin to be delightful and the Bourbons smooth. Would highly recommend.

Ask for the toasted almond they will make their version of it but it's good. Service is great atmosphere is lovely listen it might be expensive, but so is the rest of the world take a minute enjoy yourself sit down relax and have a cocktail.

Wandered looking for a place to have a drink before dinner. Intrigued by a distillery in downtown Franklin. Pretty standard cocktail list. One bonus is a tasting menu for each of their spirit offerings. Tried the old fashioned with the premium bourbon. Excellent cocktail. Paper plane is dangerously smooth.

Outstanding service! Lilly was very knowledgeable and excellent server as well. Just came in for a beer, but will definitely back to try the food. Many looks outstanding.

Absolutely love this place! Best espresso martini you've ever had! And their special drinks are fantastic. The bartenders are very friendly as well. I've been several times and it's very clean and a good relaxing vibe.

Great service, great atmosphere and great coffee. Bourbon Crème Shot was very good and the Cold Brew also was solid. Definitely would recommend and return.

The experience felt sterile and impersonal. Won't be back. Hope the staff and owners focus on extending warm hospitality and taking a moment for the patrons beyond the order. The old fashioned was thick and sweet, one of the worst we've had. We felt like a transaction. Glad we still have other bars in the area.

Love Stable Reserve. It's such a fun concept and unique to downtown Franklin! I don't even like coffee, but I loved the honey latte and their specialty cocktails combine ingredients I'd never think to and they're so good! Service is always wonderful and with a smile and lots of knowledge of the spirits they serve. Also, they've added some yummy tapas!

Good vibes. Decor and furniture is great! Fun to have a new spot in town. Tried the Alpine (gin), Old Fashioned, Paper Plane and an Espresso Martini (vodka). Yum.

My wife, my child, and I were downtown Friday December 22nd. We were put on a waitlist at a restaurant, so we decided to walk around. We went into stable reserve a little after 6pm. We found a corner out of the way to park the stroller and found two empty seats by the window. As we were getting settled and looking at a menu, an employee walked up to my wife and 5 month old. He said the establishment was 21+ right now because they had a band inside. My wife assured him that we were both of age. After a little back and forth, he said my 5 month old couldn't be in the bar. There was no signage anywhere stating that this was a 21+ establishment. The last time we were in there, without a band, there were children there. So we left and they lost our business. We walked by stable reserve about 30 minutes later and our chairs were empty with coats and purses on top. We will not be back.

This place has so much potential and I'm excited to have another bar option downtown Franklin. Please please turn down the recessed lights in the evening. They have beautiful soft light fixtures that you can barely see because you're blinded by the overhead lights. Would also like to see more comfortable and inviting seating & later hours on the weekend.

Drinks were good but ambiance is lacking. Since they're new, hopefully they'll be open to suggestions. First thing they need to do is turn off ALL the recessed lighting. It's way too bright. Everyone looks at you when you walk in. Dimming the lights would help tremendously. They also need more comfortable seating areas. Leather couches and chairs. Willing to try again if it looks inviting, hopefully they will listen to feedback.

Our family has visited at least half-dozen times. Never disappointed - drinks are near perfect. Espresso martini is the best you'll have anywhere - gin and bourbon drinks are top notch. Owner and servers make this a really enjoyable night out. Oh yeah, and they serve outstanding coffee during the day. This is an absolute perfect fit for downtown Franklin!
