As an American in the Netherlands, Stacks Diner feels like home. The food has a Southern American vibe that truly hits the spot. Their biscuits are incredible, and their Thanksgiving feast was fantastic—the turkey was juicy, and every dish was divine. * also shout out to the hot honey butter. Instead of pumpkin pie, they served Key lime pie, and it was so good salty and sour and sweet.
The margarita was strong, and the service was warm and friendly, with many American staff adding to the welcoming vibe.
One small drawback: half the seating is backless, so if you need a chair with support, it’s worth asking in advance.
Overall, Stacks Diner Amsterdam is o my shortlist of places to eat out. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is cozy, and I hope they stay in Amsterdam for years to come. Highly recommended!
