The Best Breakfast Sandwiches in Los Angeles, According to Eater Editors | Eater LA

"Though this is the place for thick pancakes, fruity waffles, and burgers, Glendora’s breakfast spot also serves one of the heartiest breakfast sandwiches in Southern California. Prepare oneself before taking a bite, the egg and meat sandwich is prepared with three scrambled eggs, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, and a choice of ham, bacon, or sausage on white toast. They even throw in a side of hash browns for good measure." - Mona Holmes

We were quickly seated at 930am (by 10am it was busy). Second time here and I enjoyed it once again. Ordered the Denver Omelette with Hashbrowns and Toast. Generous portions and the OJ/Coffee were good! Very attentive service throughout our meal! If this place were closer to L.A. would come more often. I recommend this place for a good breakfast.

Google
The restaurant is an average diner type atmosphere. I tried the strawberry crepes and they were greasy and spongy, not the texture you would expect from crepes. They were filled with fresh strawberries which were ripe and delicious. I had a side of bacon which was cooked perfectly, just enough crispness without being overcooked. In looking around it seems the skillets and pancakes are what’s popular here. I would return to try something else, but crepes are not their specialty.

Google
We came on Sunday and it was about a 25 minute wait which was expected. Food was great and came out promptly. Skillet was ok but the rest of the items including the pancakes and Oatmeal were really good. Our server Sophia B was very attentive and great!!

Google
Stacks came through with quality banana nut pancakes and biscuits and gravy. Service was fast and we got seated quickly. Their strawberry waffles and banana nut waffles also looked delicious. I’d definitely come back to try other food. Their hash brown order was rather small compared to other diners but we loved the crispy exterior.

Well to begin, I heard the Wave of Great Reviews about this place. Food looked literally amazing on people’s reviews and on google. When trying it for ourselves we heavily disliked the food. The pancakes had a wierd sour after taste. The biscuits and Gravy did not taste like anything. Gravy looked watery. The only thing we enjoyed was our Hot chocolate. The skillets have no taste to them. We left a lot of our food behind. Don’t get me wrong it’s a cute place but $48 bill and the food being tasteless. I probably wont be returning. Take my review lightly this is our own experience. Ordered: Country Steak Skillet, biscuit & gravy, Hot chocolate, 2 sunny side up eggs (Even though I ordered scrambled) & two pancakes.

Google
Lines out the door but quick seating. Heaters outside so you're not cold. Crepes are delicious. Coffee angels floating around with fresh pots. Big servings

Google
Service is great, food is really good but their strawberry stuffed pancakes are delicious, no need to warm up leftovers because it's like eating a cake

Google
Absolutely the best breakfast I’ve had in the US! I first visited Stacks on Route 66 in Glendora two months ago, and ever since, I was dreaming of coming back. Today, it finally happened – and it was just as amazing! This time, I also met the owner, Tiger – such a kind and friendly person. Thank you for the great food and warm atmosphere!

Yelp
I ordered 2+2+2 and it was bomb!! The service was quick and it was a nice environment. Sela was really nice and offered recommendations. I liked the vibe

Ruben S.

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast lunch and dinner. They take care of you. Portions are awesome. And they keep the coffee coming. We went pretty late and we still got served. Mr. Tiger is an awesome person. Been a customer since 2019. Hoping they bring back the chicken fajita omelette.

Yelp
Dropping A second review now as an APU Student, and I can confirm it is still absolutely INCREDIBLE! The food is divine still and well crafted, the service is very kind, sweet, and funny, and the music is just right for the atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend 100 times over.

Yelp
One of the best ran restaurants I've been to. Despite how incredibly busy and popular this place is, it's managed and ran extremely well and you'll be seated very quickly. Wonderful food and atmosphere. Also you could tell our server Raul was a veteran in the field and provided incredible service.

Yelp
For almost 17 years, this WAS a place my family LOVED to get our family breakfast. We were loyal customers before Stacks and welcomed new ownership. The food remained the same quality and had no issues with food. However, the experience we had today was horrible to say the least. We were unfortunately sat at a table with a waitress that was VERY rude. We were taken aback with her response when we asked if she can wipe down our table because there was food and crumbs from the previous diners that were at our table. We understand that not everything will be perfect but we do expect to be treated with kindness and respect. She grabbed a rag and her version of wiping a table down was to swipe the food on my husband! I called her out and told her she needed to be mindful how she does that because now my husband's shirt and lap have food on it. Instead of apologizing, she snapped back saying that we could sit at another table. The table was not the issue. She proceeded to rudely talk back and pulled an older gentleman who was busing table and asked him in Spanish to please help us because she didn't know what we wanted. I replied in Spanish that I didn't appreciate her attitude. My husband told her that he did t appreciate the food that was thrown at him by her when she was cleaning the table and now her attitude was disgusting. She walked away. I walked to the front and asked for a manager. He assigned a new waiter. Placed our order. This one event, ruined our dining experience and perspective on Stacks management. It is evident that Stacks does not value CUSTOMER SERVICE as a part of the dining experience. The food is great but when the customer service is awful, it RUINS the experience and to be quite honest, it brings down the enjoyment and quality of the food. I hope Stacks ownership throughly reviews the training on customer service or at least remove /put this waitress on a corrective action notice or performance improvement plan. If not, they will quickly lose customers.

Yelp
I previously had 5 stars for Stacks because I love the food and staff. But today I did a pick up order and one of the workers, Tiger, was shouting at 3 of his Co workers about printing out a void. "Just void it! I don't have time for this!" is one specific thing he was yelling while literally sitting and doing nothing. He took 2 walks just to calm his anger. I've never been so grossed out by a hoasts behavior before. Update: i was messaged, saying I'm lying. But also he knew it was from today, because he was calm all day today. Doesn't make sense, but is telling. As an aside, I also want to add the other workers are very sweet.

Yelp
The place was packed yet we were seated quickly (less than 15 minutes) but the kitchen was backed up and we sat waiting for an hour and a half. The wait staff was on point making sure our coffee was served while we waited. When we got our food my husband's omelette was not prepared how he ordered it; our server Katie quickly whisked it away and brought another omelette within seconds (again wrong). When we pointed out the food order was not correct our server got defensive saying "I only bring it out, I don't cook it." Well the omelette was left almost untouched and we left unsatisfied with the service, we will definitely not dine here again. No one ever came to apologize for the delayed service or for getting the order wrong twice.

Yelp
Stacks (on Route 66) is unflattering chaos. I bite into my country fried steak, and I spit out rubbery cartilage twice. (photos attached) The location over-seats tables, and I am surrounded by frustrated servers getting overwhelmed and loud irritated families complaining about slow service. I arrived on a weekday at 10:20AM. I was immediately sat down. My server never returned, so I waved someone down to give an order. I ordered the Country Fried Steak ($17.99). The dish includes eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. I waited 15 minutes. The pancakes are thick, warm, and bouncy. The scrambled eggs are soft and fluffy. And the hash browns are crisp and tender despite being a little salty. Unfortunately, similar to the frantic servers, the country fried steak's meat patty was rushed. I had to spit out two inedible flaps of rubbery cartilage. I can hear the table beside me complain about slow service. Stacks (Route 66) over-sat customers, and the dining experience result was uncomfortable and impersonal service. I rarely saw my server (Sophia). Thankfully, the other male staff member helped with my order. This diner's food portions are generous. Unfortunately, Stacks provides a chaotic, uncomfortable experience. I can't recommend.

Yelp
I went in with my siblings and husband right when the restaurant opened on a Sunday morning. I don't know if our waitress was having a bad morning but she wasn't all that friendly. She took our order and everything came out at a decent time and was correct, too. We ordered a variety of things and the items that were delicious were: --Chocolate chip waffle --Strawberry, banana and Nutella crepe --Stacks Signature German pancakes --Strawberry pancakes --Turkey club with French fries --Country fried steak breakfast These were all amazing. The waffle was fluffy and delicious. The crepe was fresh yet decadent. There's a reason they're known for their pancakes, they were fantastic. My husband said the club sandwich and fries were the best he's ever had and it's something he orders at almost every diner we go to. The country fried steak was crispy and the gravy was flavorful. We also ordered: --Stacks Favorite omelette --Denver skillet --Eggs Benedict We all felt these were things that you could get at another restaurant and would be made better. The diner is nice but we just didn't get friendly staff, and we were one of the first customers served in the day. I realize we had a big group and we paid the gratuity but felt it wasn't worth it. There's a lot of hype around this place so if you go, definitely try the breakfast items, especially any pancakes, waffles or crepes. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again though, which was a bummer because my family and I were excited to go and came early to beat the crowds.

Yelp
If I could draw up the perfect image of what a true diner is like, this place is it! All your classic entrées, amazing pancakes, huge portions. Your coffee is always full, staff is always smiling. Fun little memorabilia everywhere. We loved our food, and they have cute little entrées for children. This place got packed really quickly by 9 am. We were lucky we came in before the crowd around 8:30 AM on a Saturday and were able to squeeze into a booth. I have been meaning to come here for a long time. It is a great stop if you are driving along route 66.

Yelp
I honestly don't know what I feel about this place. I usually enjoy early breakfast and love trying different spots, but this place didn't warmly welcome us when we came in. The staff member in front was not very friendly and had an expression that made it seem like she was done for the day even though it was barely 630 am. Our server was pleasant, though; she was very accommodating and patient. Food-wise, I don't know either. I ordered an omelet, but my food looked like a scrambled egg with all the add-ins mixed. The tuna sandwich didn't have fresh veggies. The hashbrowns were overly cooked; they had a burnt taste to them. Understandably, it's early, but any customer expects a satisfying meal. This just wasn't it.

Yelp
We heard about this place through YouTube and thought we would give it a try. The place is old looking and also the inside. But the food was delicious I devoured it The bacon waffle was crispy and sweet They have a lot to offer so you have plenty of choices. The ranch to dip the fries and wings was amazing. Service was friendly, we did wait ten mins to get waited on. But we were patient since it was a busy Sunday afternoon.
google avatar

Marii S.

Yelp
We went on a Friday morning and it wasn't so packed like on a Saturday or Sunday. Which for me it was great. I like this place and food is always good. Service was good too! I Just wished the coffee can be serve a-bit more warm, but every thing else is good.

Yelp
I came here on. Sunday around brunch time. This place was packed and lots of people were eating and also waiting. I put my name down for a party of 2 and was told 40 minutes. Thankfully it was only about 15 minutes to be seated and probably another 15 or 20 for the food to be made after I ordered. I ordered a Texas omelette which came with 2 regular pancakes and hash browns. I also added jalapeños. I also tried the French toast plate. I was very happy with the omelette and hash browns. It was a very large omelette and it had steak as the protein. The pancakes and french toast were very underwhelming. They have some that look really good with a lot of toppings but unfortunately if you just get the regular versions they are not anything notable. I would even say the french toast was overcooked. They have inside and outside seating. I recommend choosing whichever will seat you quickest. I sat outside. The service was really good and our waitress checked in on us and filled our drinks often.
google avatar

Anthony L.

Yelp
Came here for brunch birthday. They have indoor and outdoor seating but make sure you come really early or else expect to wait awhile since this place gets really packed. Food portions are huge and freaking delicious. Staff is really friendly and hooked us up with 99% champagne and 1% juice upon request! The old school and Route 66 feel is awesome! Definitely an iconic experience. Will definitely come back again.

Yelp
I finally got a chance to dine here and it was great. Bring your appetite and a little patience because this place is jamming! The weather was perfect to dine outside and relax. Service was top notch. The staff were busy hustling the large crowd. Dillan our server was one cool dude and was on top of his game. Thanks Dillan! My bro ordered the tri tip steak and eggs. He asked for medium rare and they weren't kidding. They were kind enough to take back to grill it a bit longer. The flavor was great. I got the pork chop, and although flavorful it was a bit dry. I still killed it. And what's up with their hash brown? Hash brown was amazingly good and they were generous with the portions. Lastly (and already stuffed) pancakes were awesome. Plus they serve it with hot syrup. I had to roll myself back to my car. I look forward to dining here again.

Yelp
Enjoyed an early morning breakfast with a friend at Stacks on Route 66! Ambiance - super busy but fast service with delicious foods. Tried their skillets along with biscuits and gravy, it was tasty! Servers were friendly and constantly checking if we needed coffee refill or anything else. Overall, would come back with friends again!

Yelp
Went with a friend to have breakfast. Each got a skillet, 2 coffees, side of toast, one glass of orange juice and one glass of water. $74.51 with a 20% tip. Food was good, service good. Didn't look at my receipt until later and noticed we were charged $1.00 for a glass of water. Are you serious? This was not bottled water. That is ridiculous to charge for water.

Yelp
Mission Statement: At our diner, our goal is to offer our customers delicious food and friendly service in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We're passionate about cooking and it's a dream come true to open our restaurant so we can share this passion with the community. Stacks On Route 66 Promise: Promise to ourselves and to our customers to serve the most fresh and delicious foods using only the finest ingredients and a commitment to quality. We continue to uphold this promise by making sure that every dish that leaves our kitchen is the best it can be. Restrooms: They're available. Credit Cards: They're accepted. The staffer will bring a portable credit card reader to handle your transactions. Location/Parking : Shop use to be where Flappy Jacks use to be located. New owner came in a changed the shop to Stacks On Route 66. Decent amount of parking. Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with cool decor along the walls and modern furnishings through out the shop. Food Of Choice: 1) Stacks Fave Skillet: Consisted of diced ham, bacon, sausage, onions and bell peppers topped with cheddar and Monterey jack cheese over a layer of hash browns. It also came with 2 eggs cooked any way you like and either either a side of pancakes or toast. I decided on over easy eggs so once I broke the yoke, it could ooze on to all the ingredients. I decided on the side of pancakes. The skillet was good. Made it a tad better with some ketchup and tabasco sauce. Thought the pancakes were a bit dry. Stacks On Route 66 For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
Definitely need to update my review. This place has lost its touch and quality for sure. Came with my family and it just was not the quality we wanted. The pancakes were inconsistent and horrible. Some were fluffy some were flat some were super greasy and some were super dry. The omelet was the same a little more dry and the hash browns were very greasy. I'm not sure if it was the chef they had or the new way they do things but I'll go back and try again but definitely not the quality I was expecting. Also our waitress kept touching my daughter's head and her face and I felt very uncomfortable I was going to tell her to stop but I ended up leaving. The staff needs to do better.

Yelp
The BEST pancakes ever!! So many breakfast options to choose from! Whatever you like they have it!

Yelp
Their waitlist system is a freaking mess! The text says our table MIGHT be ready?! We waited another 15 minutes after receiving our text. I went to the front and waited there. They gave my table to someone else! I was waiting right there! Mind you I'm 5 '10 and not a small person to miss. SMH. They need to do better with their system. I really was very disorganized. Other than that, food and service was great! I've ordered multiple items here before and they're all good. I'm hoping they fix their seating system.
google avatar

Jeenee Y.

Yelp
So worth the wait and the experience!! The food's delicious and generous portions are given. Service is on point and prompt. A must stop to have a great meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Plain and simple service is crap! My wife and I have been coming for years. We brought our daughter and new son in law We put our name in waited the normal 15-20 minutes. Seated, waited for drink order. Coffees come out half filled. About ten minutes the waitress takes our order we wait and wait and WAIT! We were sitting there for forty minutes and the waitress says to us that the food will be right out, twenty minutes later it finally comes ...Cold I don't mean mediocre warm its cold their biscuits and gravy cold all the way to the bottom of the biscuit. The wife tells the waitress its cold who says I'll tell the manager. The waitress told us they were serving the smaller tables first.
google avatar

Yelp
Late review. Had a pleasure and honor of being present at a event catered by stacks. Their staff (Mya and Krystal) were professional, polite and super attentive. Their professionalism and customer attentiveness was top notch. I would definitely recommend them for future events
google avatar

Yelp
Everything went well here from the great smiles from the servers to the delicious food. Anthing you try there is amazing. It's always a great place to have breakfast. The place is huge and clean so there's always a place to sit.

Yelp
From the time we walked onto the property we were greeted with humor and hospitality. Service was wonderful. Food delicious. Price very reasonable. My family is ready to go back and enjoy Stacks. Thank you so much!

Kimberly R.

Yelp
As I'm sitting here not enjoying my cold breakfast, I decided to start on my review. I've been coming here for year's. This place is not the same. Arrived @7:36 am and waited 7mins before someone acknowledged we were there waiting. It was not busy...Cashier just look at us, the waitresses just kept walking passed us. Finally, we're seated. Our order was taken, I saw our order just sitting there in the kitchen for 8mins. When it made to our table, it was COLD!!! We will not be returning.
google avatar

Jennie K.

Yelp
Great service and good food. Stacks used to be Flappy Jacks. It gets pretty crowded so expect some wait time. We were told 20 minutes but probably only waited 10-15 not too bad. The decor could use a little more of an update/upgrade but it is still a well known staple out here in the SGV.

Yelp
I saw all the videos on TikTok and I've been dying to go to this place so finally I was able to go with two other people.... been wanting to go to this place for at least six months.... When the food came out, it looked really good But my hashbrowns were burnt The omelette that I got didn't taste really good. I don't know what it is. I can't even put my finger on it almost had a taste like powdered eggs.??? I was thinking this place was gonna be five star?? The pancakes came out pretty good And the French toast was amazingly great...visually stunning But the hashbrowns were burnt....omelette didn't do it for me. Haven Haus's food is just waaaaay better... Ultimately, dissatisfied with the food But the servers were really great !!

Yelp
Ambiance~5/5~This was a fantastic choice of a super late lunch, early dinner for me....I was looking for a fun restaurant with restaurant radio going off in the City of Glendora, but especially on Route66. Gotta love the large table to write on....Please consult the attached pics below for reference. Service: 5/5~Extremely friendly from the busser and waiter who sent me unlimited house brew refills with lots of varied creamers all stacked up inferencing the restaurant's name, 'Stacks on Route66.' Food: 5/5 very delicious I took the rest of the hash browns off my plate to go....just the salad was dry I couldn't eat that but that was just an extra item showing up on the whole 'Avocado Toast,' plate ensemble. Drink: 5/5. I got bottomless coffee refills from the nice waiter working here. You both made my weekend already.

Yelp
My father felt like eating breakfast after going to the cemetery to see mom. It was two years to the day so we stopped at Stacks. We were feeling really low and felt worse when the young lady at Stacks told us they were closed. I'm not sure if the young man who I think is the manager noticed us; said he would help us and asked the cooks to stay a few minutes extra to feed us. Dad and I warmed up and did our best to eat. The manager told us it was on the house when we tried to pay. Such a kind young man. We needed that and gave them a blessing. The pancakes are great! And the service is top notch. We are eternally grateful and you have customers for life! Support this business they truly are kind people.

Yelp
Disappointed. Came for lunch with my family, and we were seated right away, although it seemed like a long wait for our food. I took that as a good sign that everything was being made fresh. My son and I shared the Stacks Signature (German pancakes with strawberries, blueberries & banana.) I guess I've never had german pancakes before because it was more like an eggie, thicker crapé with little flavor. Although it was definitely large enough to share with loads of fruit, it's not worth the $$. My husband got the Patty Melt with rye bread. He couldn't tell if he liked it. I tasted it and agreed. There was flavor, but it was different, in a way hard to explain. For a $40 lunch (just the 2 meals, no drinks or add ons), this was very disappointing.
google avatar

Wendy C.

Yelp
I was really disappointed. I have been here before and had a good experience so I convinced my sister to come for the first time. We waited over an hour for our food. Every table around us who got seated before us got their food before us. We asked if they can bring my 5 year old nephews food asap because he was hungry and the eggs were not cooked all the way (scrambled) by the time we go out food we were not hungry anymore. We took 2 bites and left. I did tell a lady who told me she's kinda the manager but only apologized. My sister said she never wants to go there again. And I'm bummed about that

Yelp
The food is extraordinary Absolutely love the REAL not can cornbeef hash and eggs and the Host is the ABSOLUTELY BEST
google avatar

Carolyn B.

Yelp
Quality of food hasn't changed, maybe even improved since change of name. My daughter's chicken fried steak with hashed browns was large portioned. Hash browns were crispy on the outside and creamy underneath the golden brown crust. Pancakes are fluffy and melt in your mouth. My favorite Hawaiian pineapple waffle is better than what you get in Hawaii. ( I just came home yesterday from Maui, so I should know!) Only odd thing was I was charged $1.69 for the side of whipped cream that usually comes with it.
google avatar

Yelp
1/11/25 - about 12pm. Me an my wife decided to come and try some breakfast options as we have been here before but had lunch entrees. The wait was only 10 minutes to get a seat even though the place was packed. The service was good and the food was excellent except that the Tri Tip came out well done rather than medium. The taste was good though so I did not complain as I also did not want to request a redo which I am sure they would have done. Overall, it was a pleasant meal and experience at what I think was a great price for the quality and quantity of the food we received. We will be back again in the near future.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised with the food here! It definitely gives off the most classic diner vibes. It seems like this establishment hasn't aged at all and is true for what they started with! It does feel a bit old in the inside, but food is really great here! Portions are huge so you'd want to share with a friend. We ordered a Texas omelette (which comes with toast too) and a blueberry waffle. The omelette was pretty hefty but very delicious! The hash browns were really good too. The waffle was so cute! I liked how the blueberry jam(?) was extremely thick and paired so well with the waffle. Truly a classic brunch diner. Sitting outside was also pretty nice and breezy. There seems to usually be a wait for this restaurant, but we honestly didn't have to wait too long to be seated. The waitress was also really perky! They consistently checked in with us and were very efficient with their task.

Yelp
This place can get packed. I came here with my mom since we were nearby. I chose to get their Polish skillet ($17.99) with a side of biscuits and gravy. My mom chose to get their Denver omelet with a side of buttermilk pancakes. The Polish skillet came in a warm skillet with crispy hashbrowns and chopped Polish sausage was piled on top with chopped tomatoes and onions with melted Monterey Jack cheese. The biscuits and gravy was fluffy and soft and the gravy was a bit bland. My mom's order was filling with plenty of chopped bell peppers, onions, and chopped ham with plenty of melted cheese. The pancakes were fluffy and the syrup was not too sweet and they gave a good amount of butter. The staff was nice and the place was clean. Very loud though with a lot of family and large groups. Parking lot can get packed.

Yelp
Love the decor! My partner loves breakfast/brunch spots, so we're always trying out different places and I must say, this is one of the best brunch spots around in this area. The wait can be long, but once you're inside, service is great, decor is lovely, and the food is fantastic! We ordered the Country Fried Steak - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! But we did have to take half of it home, as it's so heavy and a lot for one sitting - it's worth it though! The stuffed french toast was also delish! This is a solid SOLID breakfast/brunch spot if you're in the area and have time to wait!

Yelp
The food was delicious. The portions were very big enough to share with a second person. I do recommend this place. The atmosphere is great. The service was 100% our service was really good.
google avatar

Yelp
The portions were big! We're big eaters but we didn't even finish our plates! We ordered a skillet and an omelette. The place looked great with classic diner decor. You can tell it's a place where people become regulars. I might just become one myself! Thank you for the great food and service! -1 for cleanliness.

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while and every time I pass by it looks so busy! This week I finally had a chance to try it and I have to say, it was very. Bleh. I couldn't tell if the host was overwhelmed or just rude. The wait wasn't bad. The server was nice but you can tell they're disorganized, 3 different people asked us if we ordered and when we told them we didn't they said okay and left. Until our waitress assisted. I expected the food to have a home style taste to it, but it was so salty. At most we ate 1/4 of our food. The price was not bad at all, but the overall experience is a No, for me.

Yelp
Love their pancakes and Monte Christo sandwich. Been coming here for a long time. Nice to see the longer hours open now. Been flappy jacks forever but I guess it was time for new name. Not sure if new owners.

Yelp
I loved Flappy Jack's, which is now called Stacks on Route 66. I was recently disappointed in the Chocolate Chip Pancakes (2 stars), which I used to love. The flavor was similar, but the texture seemed different. I'm not sure if it's because of the new ownership that accompanied the name change. It could have been an off batch. I don't think my pancake preferences have changed even though my last visit was eight years ago. Even though the pancakes were soft, they were more crumbly when I cut it with my fork. I remembered the pancakes used to be more fluffy and would not fall apart so easily. It seemed like two of the three pancakes didn't have chocolate chips in the batter and just had chocolate chips sprinkled on top of them. The Waffle (3.5 stars) tasted better with a lightly crisp exterior. However, there was nothing special about it that would make me crave for it. The side of bacon (3.5 stars) was crispy. The service was 3 stars, and our takeout was ready on time. It was still as busy as I remembered even on a weekday with a lot of people waiting outside the full restaurant. I don't think I'll return or wait a long time for this food like I used to.

Yelp
Come with an empty stomach because these portions are HUGE!!! I stumbled upon this gem that's on Route 66 in Glendora from an IG foodie and I had to come check it out. Prepare to wait because they're busy! We went at 1:30 in the afternoon still craving breakfast vs lunch and it was packed! Thursday's through Sunday is open from 7am until 9pm at night, newly extended hours. Perfect to go back and try lunch/dinner. The service was great, for it being as busy and hectic as it was, our server was great! Our orders were accurate and delicious. The food was bomb!!! Of course because of the large portions, the food is pricey, but what can we do about that. It was $100 for a party of 3 and we didn't hold back on our food order. The restaurant was loud so perfect for small parties of 2-4 or large parties of 10! Definitely will go back to try lunch and or breakfast again!
