Stafili Wine Cafe

We had an awesome time tonight at the Stafili Wine Cafe. The food menu is somewhat limited but the food served was outstanding. The service at the bar was excellent too. We were there for a party and the whole experience and atmosphere was great!

This spot is making brunch the best meal of the day with not only cocktail options, but a full Greek wine bar. We started with both the Natural wine flight and the Orange Wine flight for only $22 each, nice price for this area. A great precursor to this delicious meal

Stafili Wine Cafe in Tribeca is a solid little spot if you're looking for a Greek vibe without breaking the bank. I popped in and tried their smoked salmon sandwich, and honestly, it was really good. No complaints there. They've also got a decent drink selection. I went for their IPA, which they said had tropical notes and a dry finish, coming from Paros island in Greece. It was interesting to try something different, though it had a bit more fizz than I usually prefer. Still, points for offering something unique. The people working there were on the ball – quick, knew what they were doing, and were polite. Overall, it's a good place to grab a bite and a drink without any fuss.

My wife and I were walking by this place one afternoon and decided to check it out. We soon found out that this is a Greek wine bar. We drink a lot of wine but neither of us had ever had a Greek wine. We tried the Mavrodaphne which is made with Greek black wine grapes. The name of the bottle was Mademoiselle Haritaros (see picture). It was great, we enjoyed it while sitting outside on a warm day in September. Looking forward to going back and trying a few different Greek wines.

This is a Greek wine bar — my new passion and love for Greek wines. My first reaction was “wait what? Greece? 🇬🇷 “. Apparently it turned out into a unique experience where I discovered something new for me, the whole new world of wines. My personal choice is Chardonnay and orange wines. Amazing people work there, amazing people come there. This place is perfect for me! My personal thank you for Vasilis who guided me perfectly through my first Greek wine journey 🤝

This place has quickly become one of my favorites, especially on Friday nights when they have live jazz. The spicy avocado margarita stole my heart. It's got this creamy texture with a kick of spice that keeps you coming back for another sip. Perfect for a night out with friends or a date that you want to impress without trying too hard. Stafili has that cozy, laid-back energy that makes it easy to lose track of time !!

Went to Stafili yesterday for happy hour. They offer $8 glasses of white, red, or rose. HH runs until 7. We ordered a charcuterie board and a spicy feta dip for the table. The dip came with multiple baskets of bread and the whole thing was very filling! We were able to walk in on a weekday, no need for a reservation. It was raining when we went but they have outside seating available. The place is very welcoming, there were even people working with their laptops out at the bar. It's a good spot to meet friends for a drink or a date night.

I didn't even order anything here because the attitude the staff had was atrocious. I really needed to go to the bathroom before we ordered so me and a friend went in, I went to bathroom and the friend sat at the bar to look over menu first. However, while I went to bathroom I didn't realize this young lady was basically running after me yelling (I did not expect would be towards me) so I went ahead to bathroom. When I came out, apparently the lady gave my friend a full on HUGE scolding and lecture and attitude about ordering before using restaurant "services" basically treating my friend and I as if we did something illegal by simply not ordering quick enough. Totally offended, we did not feel like ordering anymore because why support and condone this behavior? How about next time, you give your customers benefit of the doubt and chance to relax before treating them like criminals because we were ready to be seated and order until you gave us such attitude. The worker at the bar was kind but very pushy to order something and when we decided not to, due to hostility, he ran out of bar, I'm guessing towards the lady waitresses to bad mouth us which the lady most definitely already was. Overall not a good look for the establishment to be met with such hostility. Mind you, we just came from a fancy steakhouse nearby and dressed the part as well (as if choice of clothing would justify treating customers this way). Overall, doesn't value or treat customers as human was huge turn off.

Love this place for wine. They had live jazz music and it's such a vibe. We had some appetizers and a cheese board. Highly recommend.

This wine bar had a lot of potential very cute. The host/server was incredibly rude to the point where he ruined our experience. Very condescending and just nasty. The blonde haired server was so sweet but the host was just obnoxious and we would not return based off his performance.

Customer service sucks! I was there this past Tuesday night around 9:00 pm, I walked in and I ask the hostess if I can sit at the bar and she was very kind and said yes go ahead but when I was about to sit one guy told me that the whole bar was reserved!!! I was like really? I felt discriminated for real, the place is new but not fancy at all and it doesn't have a dress code

I think this is on the newer side as I just recently noticed it. The wines and food were great and service was amazing. The waiters were so attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back

Great experience overall, amazing greek wines but dont overlook their cocktails. Aged negroni for the negroni lovers , and their avocado spicy margarita is top notch.

I love this place! They have Greek wines which is amazing, loved the food and also the atmosphere, perfect to come for happy hour or dinner, excellent customer service, definitely coming back!

This place is an absolute gem in the heart of Manhattan! Excellent service, excellent wine and overall an extraordinary experience in the concrete jungle that you can barely have anymore.. i consider myself a wine person but to be honest my knowledge in Greek wine is limited, the server was very knowledgeable and he guided me through the unique varieties of wines.. if you are looking to travel in Greece with a blink of an eye, this is the place. A relaxing atmosphere with the combination of the food and the wine made my day.. thank you Stafili for everything.. we definitely need more places like this!

Nice ambiance, horrible service, and food caused upset stomach. My family and I popped into this establishment on Sunday afternoon. It took them 45 mins to get our food on the table. While they were very apologetic about it, saying that they're short-staffed today, we were reluctant to order anything more. Two of the four orders, which were simple sandwiches, were tasty and filling. But their crapes were not good at all: covered in aioli and difficult to cut through. Shortly after we arrived home, my spouts and one my children began to experience upset stomach and diarrhea.

A stunning venue with amazing wine! Would recommend either location for a quiet glass of wine with friends.

Great place. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a great complement to it's W. Village instantiation. New, but can't imagine it won't take off . Great atmosphere to enjoy a glass with friends.

Very good ambiance. An amazing selection of some of the best wines from Greece. Excellent service with a personal touch. A definite must.
