Absolutely Incredible Experience at Stagecoach Inn!!! We hosted our wedding reception in the Grace Jones Ballroom at the Stagecoach Inn, and it was nothing short of perfection! From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. The food was phenomenal—sirloin, pork chops, and jumbo Cajun Creole shrimp that were cooked to absolute perfection. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it, saying it was some of the best wedding reception food they’ve ever had. Huge kudos to Cody, who absolutely nailed the menu! The bar service was fantastic thanks to Jackson, who kept the drinks flowing and brought such a fun, upbeat energy to the evening. Behind the scenes, Abby, Jamie, and Armando worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly—hot food, happy guests, and even making sure the room stayed perfectly comfortable. And then there’s Kaci, who created the most stunning two-layer cake that tasted as amazing as it looked. She even matched it perfectly to our decorations, which was such a thoughtful touch. If you’re looking for a venue that combines incredible food, outstanding service, and a team that truly cares about making your event special, Stagecoach Inn is the place. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Its a real shame that this place remodeled into less personality. We stopped there mid afternoon for a glass of wine, hoping for a classy, Texas-authentic experience. It wasn't that. The wine was sub par and the menu had absolutely nothing to offer in terms of appetizers. Entrees are standard pub food. I cant comment on the quality of the food because nothing appealed to me. The bartender was slow and inexperienced. And, adding insult to injury, I was told there was no TP in the restroom. Ick.

Very nice, cost-effective place to stay. You can walk to the main street where there are lots of shops / coffee / historic old school ruins etc. The rooms are very nicely done, great bed, nice lighting and styling... was sad to see them mostly empty when we stayed but we imagine its just being in the middle of winter. Only negative was just the road noise from the highway - its fine in your room but pretty loud outside. Otherwise great place and I'd recommend if you're transiting like we were between Dallas & Austin!

From calling to make the reservation to check- out, everything experienced at the Stagecoach was perfect. All staff were pleasant and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant meal was delicious as were the pastries in the bakery. It was a super relaxing weekend; Salado is a fun little town to visit. It was the perfect girls out weekend and definitely will be repeated. Highly recommend.

The hotel is newly renovated and the rooms are adorable. There is a cool pool bar with live music and the service at the restaurant was great. My waitress Abby was very attentive and took good care of my family and I. The food was really good I recommend the chicken fried steak. We will be coming back to visit such a nice location.

My friend and I visited Salado for a girls’ trip, and I’m so happy we stayed at Stagecoach! Our room was the poolside Queen double with patio, which I recommend. The lighting in the room was so perfect, especially if you have sensory issues. All the switches had dimmers, and the bathroom had an under cabinet light so you could find your way at night. The beds were comfy with great pillows (I brought my own from home but didn’t need it!) and there was a white noise machine as well! All the staff we encountered were lovely, helpful, and kind, including the manager, who was happy to hear the few bits of constructive feedback we had about our stay. There are some improvements being made in the next phase of renovation, so we’ll definitely be back!

The staff here are AMAZING!!! From Marisol at the front desk who was so friendly and helpful and accommodating with our requests...to the groundskeeper and housekeeping who escorted us to our room! Very quaint hotel with old charm. Rooms could use a little updating....but the beds & pillows were heavenly! Like sleeping on a fluffy cloud! Rooms were super clean! Will definitely be back!

We had a great time during the holidays!!! Salado is definitely a fun place to be! Pictures are of a previous visit during a warmer time! The service was great! I totally love the gift shop! We all bought a Salado, Texas shirt!!! Love them!!!
