Standard at Alpharetta

Really cool spot. We didn't try the pizza, maybe next time. We did an Italian sandwich with a Greek side salad. It was very fresh more than enough for two of us. Also, they had half a plate of fries which you're done really well. Their Google rating did not disappoint. Also, they're sweet tea is very good. It's not too sweet at all.

On the corner of Main Street this casual pizzeria also has a healthy selection of beer on tap and liquor as well as food choices in addition to their signature pizzas! The staff is well trained and well sourced. Friendly and fast. Cool industrial decor, frequent live music especially in the afternoon, major sporting events on the numerous TVs. Look around for Star Wars memorabilia.

pizza is amazing, crispy and crunchy. The dough is amazing. Pepperoni is delicious 8.2 out of 10 Burger was juicy and delicious 8.8 out of 10 Mozzarella sticks are generic lazy store bought junk. 0.3 out of 10 Hot wings were tasty and juicy and fresh 7.1 out of 10. Standard lager is a 10 out of 10. you cannot beat a good beer at $4. I would go back just for that. The service is average at best. You can tell during the busy period they are under staffed so it’s not the servers fault but more the management.. By far the worst part is 2 single restrooms for the whole restaurant. Everytime you need to go there is a long line., how does the city of Alpharetta allow this? I will say the people and the atmosphere are great.

It is farther than we would normally drive for dinner but our dog sitter recommended it. They have both inside and patio dining. The atmosphere is fun. We had a couple beers and the Astro pizza. They offer, apps, sandwiches, wings, salads and even a custard dessert. I’m glad we made the drive over.

We’ve been long time patrons of Standard at Roswell (go Bills!) but we’ve now dined at the Alpharetta location a few times. Similar to the Roswell location, they have a good bit of outdoor seating which is great for getting bigger groups of people in faster. The food is always very reliable and some of our favorites are the blueberry Thai wings (ordered extra crispy), any of the pizzas, the buffalo chicken dip appetizer and the mozzarella sticks for the kiddos. The service is always fast and friendly - this is always a great place to come hang for casual vibes and good food. Love this place and glad to see a second location near us!

Visiting the Atlanta area from Syracuse NY and strolled through downtown Alpharetta. Stopped for lunch here and had the seasonal salad with chicken which was exceptional! My husband had the burger and fries and was pleasantly surprised that it was a double burger! Fries were seasoned deliciously and they were plentiful. We'll be back the next time we visit family here.

I’ve been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. it’s been my go-to spot to watch football and grab a meal. Tonight, I asked for a few slices of pizza just past the cutoff time, which I genuinely didn’t realize had already passed. Instead of a polite response, I was mocked by the waitress. I’ve always treated the staff here with respect and have been a loyal customer, but after tonight, I’m not sure I’ll be back. I’m not someone who usually complains or writes reviews, but it’s clear that some customer service training needs to be revisited. Loyal customers should never be treated this way. It’s sad to see a once great place go downhill.

We had such a great time last night! Maddox was our server, and he was on point! The food, atmosphere, and service were all amazing! We got Buffalo shrimp, hot lemon pepper wings, buffalo ckn dip and ckn fingers. The food came out really fast and it was packed too.

Would give 5 stars if the appetizer & beer menu was a bit more extensive. Kind of a bummer when options are limited to IPAs that all taste the same. Cocktail was good, but when it's listed as spicy - MAKE IT SPICY Our server was engaging, friendly and efficient. Mozzarella sticks were good and marinara sauce was tasty. Was surprised to see so many little kids in a bar.

So my wife and I and our son went here tonight for pizza. We were here about 4 months ago and the pizza was outstanding. It was really high quality and consistent. Tonight, not so much. It's like they threw out the original receipe and ingredients and substituted entirely different cheese and crust. It was aweful tonight. So bad I couldn't even finish my pizza and it got thrown away. I am not sure what management did, but they changed the pizza and now it's terrible. I welcome any comments from the restaurant.

I love this place. Their gluten free pizza is amazing. Sometimes service is slow especially at the bar, but overall great spot.

This is one of the best places I've been in awhile. The owner was amazing and had great banter with me and my sister despite the chaos of Thanksgiving Eve. I will definitely visit again and recommend to all of my friends!

Been walking past this place for too long so finally dropped in. It's a bit tight inside, but the service is really great. Even with the during the craziness of Saturday football games, the bartenders were attentive and friendly. Our calzone was excellent and the draught's very reasonable. We'll be back.

I came here with some friends after bar hopping and ordered some pizza. The pizza was delicious! Service was okay I just wish they had their whole menu available later in the night. The ambiance was that of a sports bar vibe kinda it was casual and a great place to go after a night out.

The positive- location is great, right on the square in downtown Alpharetta. The food- pizza and wings are very tasty and the drinks are good as well. It's a fun spot to go after work with friends. The negative- the service is not good at all. Waitress was rude and acted like we were a bother the entire night. We tried to turn her mood around with southern kindness but she continued to be annoyed. One of the drinks was not good so we told her and she snatched it up without asking if we wanted to try something else. She got part of the order wrong and the guy that brought it to the table wanted to argue about it. He was honestly a little hostile about it. Generally I give service staff the benefit of the doubt because I know it's a thankless grind but I couldn't overlook it this time. Food is worth going but service is way below "Standard "

Came here for the first time as a suggestion from a friend and I really liked the vibe and food. It's a community style establishment that had several different tvs which was convenient to watch sports. They had a full bar and a cocktail menu- I saw people drinking wine and they had actual wine glasses for that so that was a win. My water did have a bug in it but they were kind enough and immediately switched it out. Service was good- very attentive and kept coming back to check on us which was good. Loved the live music! Very good set. I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich with fries- I just only wish I would have been asked whether I wanted it as a wrap or sandwich since I wanted it as a wrap, and while it was delicious the chicken was hard to eat as a sandwich. I had to use a knife but it was a pretty easy fix!

I used to love going to their Roswell location when I lived over near Sandy Springs, so I was so excited when they opened up another location in downtown Alpharetta. They took over what used to be Carson's Kitchen right on the corner of Main Street. Super causal as you get to seat yourself, but we were still kindly greeted at the door by a hostess. Our goal was to find a spot with plenty of tv's so we could watch the Denmark vs Slovenia match, and The Standard did not disappoint. We snagged a round table just in time before they got crowded for Father's Day lunch, and the staff made sure to find the right channel for us so that we had prime time viewing. Unfortunately, their CO2 was down, so they were not offering any beers on tap or soft drinks for the next 2 hours, but they were kind enough to let us know right away in case we wanted to go somewhere else. We decided to stay, and it was well worth it! The service was fantastic, and we even got to enjoy some local live music which always makes for a good time. Highly recommend starting with the Buffalo chicken dip. It is a cold dip instead of warm, but our server let us know when we ordered it so that we were not surprised or thrown off which I really appreciated. It was sooo yummy, and I also really enjoyed the grilled chicken avocado wrap with fries. A great experience and will certainly be back for more!

The atmosphere is really cool. Although it's a bar for Bills fans, it's equally a bar for football fans. The waiters are great and attentive. The food is ok, not bad, but neither is it gourmet. I would recommend this bar to any football fans. Oh and it appears that Alpharetta is a transient town, because you will find fans from all over in there. Even the sticky Jets have fans rolling up to have a drink and a bite.

We were wandering about looking for some live music and a place to get a bite when we heard music from here on the patio. We decided to stop in and sit outside. This place was quite busy on a Friday night. We sat between the nice firepit and the musician. I ordered a small Greek salad which was quite big actually and delicious. Their dressing was great and really makes the salad. My throat was a bit scratchy so I asked if they had any honey whiskey. They did not but the server brought me out my whiskey of toys and a little dish of honey so I can mix it to my tasting. It was a very nice ambience out there to listen to the great music and close to the fire. We saw other peoples food and it looked ample and delicious

This place is one of the best spot for juicy burger. They don't have much burger choice but I would say this is my spot. 2 Meat patty and juicy with shoe string fries. I would highly recommend this spot for burger. They have beer and alcohol here. I will be back for more burger, possibly order togo next time. Service was nice, there's one tall girl, she made me look very short. But she was cool.

Wings & Pizza. I order both. Excellent place for great food, drink and watch sports. All the staff is on it and can give great suggestions. You have to order the Lemonyaki or Blueberry Thai wings!! Both Alpharetta and Roswell are great locations

Manager is an ass, swapped stations on a TV where we had a group watching a game and manager informed us we could move to other side of bar if we wanted the game we'd already been watching. His solution? Don't like it, get the F out.

I have been a customer at standard a few times and I have frequented this bar since I work in the area. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere and I adored the staff. I think the pizzas are the best thing on the menu. However, I will never walk into this bar again because the owner was extremely rude and very unkind. I'm pretty sure he was drinking on the job? And I saw him peeing behind his own restaurant. Very gross!

Love the pizza here, Whenever I am visting I alwasy come in for a large cheese. Don't be fooled by all the topping options the OG is the best hands down. Please don't ever change the " standard"

We came here on a double date on a Sunday night and the place had a good energy to it. We arrived first and could seat ourselves. They had high tops, long tables, short tables, all kinds of seating. The outdoor patio area was not available when we were here. There was also alive musician playing cover music. Our friends arrived shortly thereafter and our drink orders taken. There are TVs all over this place so would be a good place to watch a game! The drink menu great and had a lot of fun sounding options. The food menu was just the same. We started with the meatball platter, which came with garlic bread, and also the garlic "nots" which were flat pieces of bread and not balls as the name suggests. Both were good. For our entree, we got the "Standard" pizza, which is a white pizza. The crust was the perfect thickness and it heated up well the next day.

Great food and good music. Fun atmosphere and outdoor seating. Great pizza, wings, sandwiches and salads. Buffalo shrimp and wings are great.

The Standard is top-notch! Service is awesome, and the food is even better! The wings are superior, and I am a buffalo gal. Pizza is so good, and the buffalo shrimp is a must order! It's also my favorite place to watch a bills game, go bills!

The manager is rude and aggressive if he doesn't like your ask or your attitude. He told me he was the owner and if he is I pray for this restaurant. He threatened to keep my credit card I had on tab and add extra charged when I wanted to close out........there are other, better bars in the area where you don't have to deal with rude staff.

Piece of crab place and owner is a piece of joke... yelling and kidding us out without giving us the order that we paid for!

Very fun ambiance! The bartender was incredibly nice and the hosts were lovely. Food was good. I had the chicken tenders, which are normally hard to mess up, but these were delicious! Super convenient location to everything downtown Alpharetta.

I got a Caesar salad and the lettuce was not clean. The service was great and they were great with my dogs on the patio! I'm just posting to help the kitchen be aware they need to clean their lettuce. The manager voided my salad and drinks from the check, but overall service was great. Mozzarella sticks and pesto chicken wrap were both great.

We tried to eat here on Friday night. They were understandably busy but the hostesses were chatting among themselves and reacted to my question on "how long was the wait for two"...in a very dismissive manor. I was told I could look outside because they only seat inside...but they clearly didn't care either way. We left. I get you are busy and business is good but your employees are arrogant and that won't lead to longevity in downtown Alpharetta.

No sound for broadcast of major Sporting events. Alpharetta needs a true sports bar and this is not it.

Mozzarella sticks tasted like they came straight out of a frozen box (not fresh at all); they forgot our orders of garlic knots (they eventually came and they did take off bill). The service was horrible, our server really couldn't be bothered. She cared more about going back to the bar and talking to her friends and was basically non-existent and hovered when it was time for us to pay bill to see her tip. Our kids food came out after ours even though we place our order at the same time. The food was decent but the service kills the experience, one thing I will say is the singer was really good. This is a place to go drink and watch sports.

We were so happy this is completely dog friendly. We have a boxer and there were 2 other boxers in the restaurant!! lol! We have tried to go before and there was a wait we couldn't stay for, but yesterday we hit it right on a Saturday night and it was gorgeous out! We started with drinks, I had a white wine and my boyfriend had the Standard house draft Lager, which he loved!! Smoothe! We ordered the large Caesar salad which we shared with homemade dressing which was fabulous and flavorful. We shared the small Supreme pizza . I asked for well done crust and they listened!! Our waiter was great. We watched the end of the Braves game and then they had someone come in and play the guitar and sing. We will definitely be back! Fantastic place to watch a game, casual with a great vibe!!

Horrible. Rude servers with no personality. The uniforms were very Hooters looking. I felt like I was at Hooters. Everyone looked like they didn't want to be there. Very slow. Food was bar food but way too expensive. They do have Frosé and it was pretty good. I would only go there for a drink. Way too expensive for what you get and the service you get.

I've been to this place 3 times now and I have mixed feelings, though it certainly has the potential to earn a 5 star rating. The service has been bad every time I've been here. Given that I've had a separate server each visit, there seems to be an underlying issue that the management needs to address, though I'm not sure what that is. The servers I've had seem to forget that they are assigned a given table to provide service to. They disappear for long periods of time without following up on drinks, food, or the check. There's no proactive measures taken to ensure that basic needs are met for a simple dining experience. I'd very much like to see this changed, as this restaurant has positive qualities that give it potential. I very much enjoy the food here. It's been fresh with good flavors and textures. The burger and wings have been great. There's also a nice ambience for a sports bar type of vibe, with fireside outdoor seating as well.

The food was good and very fairly priced. I will come back again. The service was top-notch.

Got seated at a table last night, waited about 20 minutes for a server to come up to us. Made eye contact with maybe 2-3 of them, but not one of them came to our table. Was very excited to try this spot, but we ended up leaving. This has never happened to me before, so I had to post a review. We will not be back.

The Standard in Alpharetta has always been consistent with great food and great service. The atmosphere is always upbeat and the open air setting is very comfortable. The location is perfect for meeting friends and watching the world go by!

The food was really good! The burger was like a smash burger and a definite "smash burger'ish" taste and feel to it. Service was slightly so but it was a busy Sunday Funday when we visited. Loved the energy in the restaurant with a Star Wars theme and "live" music. Very eclectic. Does have outdoor seating. Also, love they have sports playing throughout the restaurant. Would recommend for a great local weekend hang out spot!

I went for a late lunch, it was very empty. The chicken fingers tasted like they were fried in dirty oil and when I said I didn't want French fries they didn't replace them with anything but still charged me the full amount. I also ordered the meatball platter and it was 3 small meatballs with melted mozzarella cheese, they tasted good but not worth the price. Lastly I ordered a small spinach salad, tastes great but arrived half full. I had to hunt a bartender down for things that I needed, while 3 servers were standing around doing absolutely nothing.

Great food. Great staff. But you lose a star for lack of menus. I dint come to a restaurant or bar to look at my phone. Bring back a real menu!

I love this place and have been here several times. I want to leave a review in hopes the ownership/management gets the message. The food and service are fantastic. It has a great bar food pizza/wing place vibe: very cool decorations and plenty of TVs to watch a game. Everything is perfect. My only complaint is the live music. The quality of live music is excellent, but the live music is never played at an enjoyable volume for the space, and it makes it almost impossible to have a conversation with the servers to place an order and to converse with people at your table. This is not based on an isolated experience. We got a pitcher of beer and wings, which were great, but we left early before we would have liked to get a main course somewhere else because we couldn't withstand the music because the volume was unbearable. PS. I'm not an old man just complaining about loud music. It just doesn't fit the venue and experience. Keep the live music just please turn it down a few notches. I want to be able to stay longer.

We enjoy the pizza at this location. However, the owner allows his lovely dog to have free rein of the place. We have seen the servers petting the dog & then serving food. Today, the cook came out of the kitchen & played with the dog & let the dog lick his face. This is unsanitary!

I went to the Standard tonight in Alpharetta. I ordered a burger and when it arrived the fries had multiple long hairs mixed in the actual fries. I kept pulling them out of my mouth. I decided to return it and have a new burger and fries made. The next order was fine but when I got my bill they did not offer to take anything off the bill! They charged me full price. Not going back or if I do, not ordering food. Check your food before eating there!

Great place! Best wings and pizza around! Our server Meghan was awesome! They always have wonderful music! This place deserves better than 3 stars! You will love the vibe! Give it a try!

Waitress was mostly interested in her phone. Snarky, "I'm better than you", attitude. Be careful who you hire. Food was really good. Unfortunately, a really bad hire and bad waitress.

This was some of the worst service we have had at a restaurant. The place was not even busy and the waitress was extremely rude when we asked for a draft list. She never checked on us to ask how our food was or fill up our waters. She also never offered us an additional drink or a to go box. She was just sitting in the corner talking and not even bothering to help us. It was very disappointing.

Went there late night with friends to grab a drink, bar was kinda busy but no one was ordering a drink at the time. The girl bartenders were playing on their phone ignoring me and my gf on 1-8-25. I tried to get their attention while they're playing on their phones. The girls didn't like that I called out to them since they weren't going their jobs. They refused to sell to me and also my friends that went up. I've never met a group of girls that are so stuck up for no reason. If you want snobby rude girls to serve you drinks this is the place to be. The bartenders at the surrounding bars are way more friendly. I wasn't kicked out just refused to serve me. Talked to an another guy that I met at a different bar on 1-9-25 and he also said the girls are snobby and out of control. Will never go back. By far the rudest employees I think I've ever met in my life and they need a reality check. We pay their bills

Ordered a margarita with casa migos, glass came out half full, thought ok that's different but must be a good one, considering they flex a big collection of claze Azul at their bar. But no, couldn't tell if there was actually Casamigos in it because the mix was so bad. They have better margarita mix on the bottom shelf at Walmart. Plus the server was just impatient, would walk away so fast when I was about to ask her for something.

As per previous reviews: Good pizza. Bad service. Side note, the host was an exception. He was taking names, seating people, bussing tables while helping out the wait staff,

The food here is awesome! The owner has a passion for food and it shows. Quality food at a great price for the area! Some of our favorites are anything with bacon! It's always cooked to perfection! The standard pizza is so good, all of the sauces and dips are made in house, as is the pizza dough. Wings are good, try the blueberry Thai flavor, you won't regret it and his chicken tenders are epic, make sure you get it with the honey mustard... it's the best dipping sauce I've ever had. The Italian sandwich is great, too. If you want a refreshing salad, the Caprese salad is so fresh and keeps it so simple! The cocktails are great, too. The old fashioned is one of my favorites!! Go enjoy it, the live music sets a great tone for a great time.

Good news , bad news. (And I loathe leaving bad news and the forth coming establishment response) food quality, very top end bar food. Chicken tenders are solid , like real solid. Space is great to watch games. Bad news, service is about the worst I've experienced in Alpharetta. This isn't white table cloth, you just need attentive servers and food runners. No food runners (we watched our food come up and sit and sit and sit while wait staff was solving the world problems elsewhere), waitstaff was apathetic across the board. We counted 7 patrons individually have to go to bar for drinks. P in mind, staff to patron ratio was 4/1 including cooks. Pretty inexcusable. 'Manager' stood in corner for 45 minutes and talked to the same employee. Weird experience. Premium rent, awesome location, hope they get it worked out before football season, but could be a loooong spring. Will try again because of TV situation and food quality, but want to see the staff turn over first. Honest feedback.
