"With an incredible range of maps, atlases, travel guides, accessories, globes and more, this long-standing classic is one of the biggest travel bookshops in the world. The store is old, but the philosophy is contemporary, as the guides and focus shift with the trends. Don't miss the map of the solar system above as you're walking up the stairs."

My love for all things maps is reignited anytime I visit Stanfords. There's a duo downstairs who are patient and super helpful. I had an idea for new UK and world maps for my walls and got exactly what I needed 🗺 While browsing, overheard a lady briefing one of the duo about her wedding plans, and he seemed excited to help. Stanfords have rolls and drawers full of small, medium, and large wall maps to choose from - contemporary and traditional styles. I took these photos to help you check out a few different globe options and books of stories about our world. All connected by... maps! 🌎🌍🌏 Hope you're pleasantly surprised to discover more on offer ✨️!

Very relaxing atmosphere, I sat down by the window, which had a good view. I ordered flat white coffee, it was tasty, but I prefer it if it was hotter. If you’re a bookworm, visit there😊✨

Such a lovely shop, has a huge selection of books and unique gifts. There is a whole lower floor with maps and guides for basically any country. Perfect for geography lovers or anyone in search of a nice cup of coffee in a cozy spot.

The place is nice. However, the staff are extremely rude and impolite (especially the blond guy with glasses who was sitting at a table on the lower floor). He refused to tell us the price of one of the books and pushed my wife. This is unacceptable, and the management should have taken action, but they were completely negligent about the incident. A sexist and prejudiced bookstore.
