Stanford's Restaurant & Bar

This was my first time here, and I should of listened to previous reviews, as one of my glasses not only came dirty but had a red lipstick stain on it. Food was flavorless, not hot and over priced for the type of food we ordered. Only gave two stars because our waitress Jay was really nice, she was professional, checked on us and had refilled our drinks without having to ask. Other than that we both agreed we will not be returning.

Severs were nice but quick to walk away... Food was well prepared. Had seared crab cakes for the app. (2). Was a little bit of shell in one but I would still recommend getting. I had a full rack of ribs subbed in parmasean bacon Brussel sprouts and garlic mash. Mash was very dry could have used some butter or milk and more seasoning, ribs were kinda stiff and needed more BBQ sauce, but surprisingly enough the Brussels were pretty tasty. My friend got the jambalaya.... Which was deconstructed... My daughter (picky 7 year old) wanted Mac & cheese and fries. She didn't like the Mac. I didn't try the Mac but it looked cheesey. I had a pink lemonade cocktail. That was 💣. Overall, I would return. Waitress could slow down a bit and return for empty plates and glasses.

I love the food here especially the Pepper Bacon Mac N' Cheese dish. We had dirty dishes that we had to send back and the server didn't get the order correct from our group. I love the food but didn't like that they didn't check their dishes before bring them to us.

I went because I read online they had calamari, I arrived during happy hour to the bar just before they got very busy.Still had great, very friendly service from Philip during the rush! Good price on big mugs of beer and calamari! Calamari was perfectly crisped with a delightfully savory, softly acidic tartar sauce to dip. The draft selections of beer was very basic and I would strongly encourage them have more local and artisan choices. 4 stars for the food and drinks, only the full five because of amazing service.

Pretty good; service is slow sometimes and while the happy hour menu is okay, they occasionally run out of one or two items. It's a quiet grill and bar with better than average food (for a bar). A GREAT place for the overall feel - not a dive or a meet-market, but also not some high-end snobbery. A great place for us older types to have a meal and a couple drinks without having to endure the "What's your sign?" crowd.

Happy Hour has discounts on food items we were glad about and enjoyed. Atmosphere, service, and the food were all as it should be going. This is one business model that has the dining customer smile upon this place. No complaints against this place, just another positive review. It just happened to be Happy Hour when we visited which was good for us, helping us to focus from their large selection of dishes to the smaller menu with the discounts. There's still a good variety to choose from.

My wife and I visited a couple of months ago. I ordered the best steak they have on the menu and my wife ordered chicken strips. We didn't like our food that we didn't eat any of it really. Asked for the check, we were asked if we needed boxes, we said no we didn't like the food. The manager came to apologized, didn't charge us not even for the drinks and offered us dessert to take home. Customer service is superior. I know Stanford is a good restaurant but. I'm not sure why our food came out like it did on that day. The place is nice on the inside and even though we didn't like our food. I'd rather have bad food with good customer service than to have it the other way around. We will give it another try.

We had a wonderful experience here! The food was good and the service was excellent! But the best part was that I had made a reservation and just mentioned that it was my bridal party and that we were shopping for my wedding dress. They surprised us with decorations and champagne, which was amazing by the way! And they even gave me a dessert! Mark and Cindy were great and we'll definitely come back the next time we have a special day in South Center planned! ☺️
