"Be prepared to stand in line while you await your fresh-baked bagel on a Saturday morning. Whether you take yours with a cream cheese spread or prefer a well-dressed bagel sandwich instead, the wait will be worth it. Gluten-free options are also available, as well as smoothies, granola, and fresh fruit." - Kellie Walton

Sigh. I love bagel shops and I was so disappointed in my food here. The eggs on my California bagel were like a microwave texture. The avocado had no flavor. Most bagel places I’ve went to at least put salt and pepper in the avocado and sometimes lemon/lime juice. I also got a banana bread and it doesn’t taste like banana bread. It’s almost like a bunny wheat bread loaf with banana nuts in it. Very bland and very disappointing. $13 for my bagel and banana bread I expect quality!

Today was the last day going to Star Bagel. The steady decline over the last year is sad for not only Sylvan Park but anyone who appreciates bagels or their money. Everyone knows there is a risk associated with ordering things online, but to strike out so often is tough. Normally, it's the wrong coffee ingredient or incorrect cream cheese. Today, I feel as if I've been robbed. With it being MDW, I was going to splurge on a lox sandwich on my way to the golf course. Little did i know, I had apparently ordered a $10.50 (+ tip) donation to Star Bagel. Halfway to my destination, I decide I'm hungry enough to take down said fishy goodness. The sheer disgust I experienced as I was unwrapping my tasty treat nearly made me veer off the road. My beautiful delicacy was subbed out for the cheapest possible sandwich they could offer (a slimy veggie delight). Being an adult, I am not offended by non animal products, but the rampant neglect shown for regulars recently is actually sad. Not only is this becoming the norm, you're charging what the average American makes per hour for just whatever you want to give them. I'd rather have stopped at the Pilot Truck stop for their spicy tuna roll.

Google
The best breakfast sammie in Nashville! I got the green eggs and ham on an everything add bacon - bagel was so soft and the pesto sauce was so so good. Also one of the best chai lattes I've had in a while! Bonus points - the staff was so nice!

Google
Love the Fruit Tea!!!! I enjoy the food too, I wish they would but more meat on the sandwich’s, can I please get more meat on my sandwich, it’s like I’m eating bread. They barely put a half-a-piece of meat on your sandwich, if I’m paying $15 for a deli sandwich, chips and a drink, I definitely want to be happy with my purchase. But who am I kidding, as long as they continue to make that 🔥 fruit tea, you got my business.

Google
This place is DELICIOUS! I’ve been here twice in three days because it is THAT good! I’ve ordered the Green Eggs and Ham and the Sante Fe. Both were spectacular! The coffee is very good and the service is exceptional! This will be a new regular place for me!

Google
Great neighborhood spot with fresh bagels and pastries. No frills, always consistent. Want a bodega style bacon egg and cheese on house baked bread? They got you covered.

Connor

Google
Significantly overpriced for the quality of the food. Eggs are not made fresh, and the salmon/onions/cream cheese were slopped onto the side of a bagel. Need a chef in the kitchen who cares for preparation. Quality over quantity people!

Google
Have to downgrade my review. Disappointing is the only way to describe it now. It used to be so good that I made it a point to order if I was going to that side of town. Now it's on the list of places we used to like but don't go anymore. I hope they fix whatever's broken or change whatever's gone wrong. Sadly, this isn't the star bagel I discovered four years ago.

Yelp
Star Bagel is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Nashville! It is cost friendly & full of healthy options. The locally owned business has everything you could want - from bagels & cream cheese to fresh focaccia sandwiches to coffee & smoothies! Everything I've tried has been delicious and it's one of my favorite spots to bring visitors & then walk the loop at McCabe golf course when the weather permits. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, which can fill up quick on a weekend! The patio is a great way to enjoy the weather if you can snag a seat

Yelp
Sometimes it's the parking....and beyond. I've wanted to stop here and smell the roses (well, the aroma of hot dough and coffee) but have been dissuaded by the apparent paucity of parking. (Yes, big words for small spaces.) Today I figuratively bit the bullet and stopped anyhow, having first checked out approaches and parking spaces via Google Earth maps. That worked out fairly well. I got there and aimed for the empty Handicapped Parking space....only to discover as I pulled in that someone had tied their dog to the rail at that spot. (No pets allowed inside.) Fortunately for me there was an open space next to the "parked" and quiet pup. Phew! Atmosphere inside the building was lively....lots of chatter as patrons enjoyed their morning brews and bagels or waited patiently for their orders to be delivered. Judging by the crowd, I thought I might have a bit of a wait....but, in fact, I was promptly and politely asked for my order at the counter. And equally as promptly.... was handed the first part of it consisting of 6 bagels to go. I also was given an empty cup for my coffee. (Serve yourself if it's straight up brew from the array of pump-pots with Regular, Decaf, and flavored options.). The coffee was surpisingly fresh and very hot! And the flavor was a delightful treat - one of the tastiest House Blends I've had in quite a while. My Sante Fe Bagel sandwich was delivered only a few minutes later and I carried it to the car. The steaming sandwich was bigger than I anticipated.... nice since I was pretty hungry. So, I opened the tightly wrapped breakfast bonanza and attempted to take my first bite. [To paraphrase a line from the movie "Jaws"...."I should have brought a bigger mouth"....because, in an instant, the very thick (an inch+ maybe) egg-pepper frittata slid from between the slippery turkey sausage patty and the ooey gooey melted cheese lining for the bagel onto my lap. I must have had a premonition before starting on this misadventure because after sitting down in the car, I placed a large cloth hand towel across my lap and that, in turn, caught the entire avalanche before it hit my clothes or the floor of the car. Disaster more or less averted. Thank goodness I still had half the sandwich left. Taste: Excellent! Fluffy-flavored egg with bits of crunch from the peppers on a lightly toasted bun. Will I return....? In all honesty, unless I can find an alternative to the parking situation....I doubt it. BUT YOU SHOULD .... just aim for the Star. Open wide. And enjoy!

Yelp
I've been coming here for a long time and I've watched it gain popularity over the years to almost an overwhelming degree. There is always a rush but if you time it right you can find parking in the lot out front or usually street parking across the street near the park. No matter how busy they get they always have time for friendly service and a smile at the register. I never feel rushed or like I'm inconveniencing anyone , as one tends to feel at hipster coffee shops. This is more of a beloved Nashville jewel. It still has the old Nashville feel. There is limited seating but there are patio tables outside . Or you can get your food to go and go to the park. I really like the breakfast bagels, and the iced coffee. They have delicious bakery items as well. I never make it to the lunch menu because I'm a breakfast all day kind of person. But I hear it's really good. Overall you can find something pretty healthy , fairly quick, and super delicious while supporting small businesses here in Nashville.

Yelp
Great food - local favorite! We live nearby and appreciate this place. The service is always courteous and friendly and we enjoy the bagels! My favorite is the Early Bird Special - available anytime.

Brooklynn K.

Yelp
Nice small local spot in the heart of Sylvan Park. Tasty breakfast bagel with egg, cheese, and Turkey sausage. Long line on a Sunday morning and packed house, making it a little disorganized and crowded to get around. Only 3 menus floating around so made it difficult to know what you're getting if you're a first timer. Nice & patient staff as we had to wait till the front to get a menu and choose. Lots of pickup orders coming in and out, definitely a loved spot.

Kendall R.

Yelp
This place stays busy and for good reason. Their food is delicious and affordable. One of my favorites is simply buttered foccacia, but the Starz classic sandwich is also great. And the mocha muffin is superb!! There is limited indoor seating and maybe 4 patio tables. Not a ton of parking, but many costumers take their food to go.

Kathryn H.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place--but the wait was crazy (35 minutes to get through the line and then get the actual bagels) and when I finally did get my bagels with "lox" spread I just had a glob of cream cheese with 3 small pieces of lox. The bagel itself was good, just beyond disappointing to pay extra for the lox spread and wait for such a long time only to be given this

Gina L.

Yelp
Get there earlier! I went early while my husband slept and I got my food pretty quick but he had to wait FOREVER! This place was so busy! It feels a bit hole in the wall but for what they offer, YUM. Just solid ingredients and the bagels I got a green eggs & ham on a garlic bagel. The garlic bagel was sooooo delicious! Also grabbed a berry smoothie and I love when it's actually fruit in them and not just a mix.

Marc R.

Yelp
Waited in line 20 minutes and had very little selection of bagels. For a place called Bagel cafe I expected more

Sarah T.

Yelp
Lovely little neighborhood spot in walking distance from McCabe park. I've tried their bagels, cinnamon rolls and smoothies and have enjoyed them all. Has tables inside and outside, but does get busy especially on weekends.

Papus W.

Yelp
Best sandwiches in the area, don't look at those one star reviews posted by sensitive hipsters complaining about place being too busy or parking. Yes it's busy cause it's popular and good, order online and pick it up, that's the best way to do it.

Jo W.

Yelp
I love this shop. They've got fresh bagels and other specialty bread options. My go to is the roasted Turkey sandwich on the Asiago bread with lettuce and spicy mustard. The Asiago bread is so good it has me coming back at least twice a week. All the employees are always so generous and they work so quickly. The parking lot is small and right in front of the shop but if that's full you can park on the street for free. It does get busy during lunch time so if you plan on going during lunch I recommend ordering online beforehand. They offer indoor and outdoor seating!

Anelís C.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were craving breakfast one morning in nashville. This place located nearby the old historic neighborhood had so many great bagel options we couldn't go wrong with any. I hope I Mamés the bagel right but mine included pesto, Turkey, mozzarella cheese and egg omelet in a good size omelet! Definitely a great option for a small but filling breakfast. The place was super cute and small it felt homey and cozy! The smoothies were awesome too! We tried a berry berry smoothie !

Stephanie B.

Yelp
The bagels are ok. The service is usually good, but sometimes they forget about orders. Don't go if you're in a hurry.

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
I was in the mood for a leisurely cafe lunch after visiting the farmer's market this weekend. I stopped into Star Bagel, unsure if they'd have menu items to accommodate gluten free, but I figured I'd get a coffee and pop into Edley's if the menu did not have choices. I was pleasantly surprised to see that any of their breakfast or lunch sandwiches could be made gluten free! The counter server asked me if it was a preference or an allergy, which my fellow celiacs will know is a great sign. She mentioned some techniques to handle cross contamination as well. I'd recommend it for anyone gluten free, which is not something I can say about many bakeries. But sometimes we GF people just miss the cozy feeling of a bakery cafe, y'know? As to my order: I got a hummus sandwich with feta and sprouts, and a chilly chai (a frozen dirty chai latte). Came out to $13 total and that includes the extra $1 for gluten free bread. I thought it was a great value for the price and the house made hummus really hit the spot. Seriously, where else in Sylvan Park can you find a frappe under $6 or even $5 for the smaller sizes? Now I understand the lines that form here at the busier times, even though I'm sadly not a bagel eater these days.

Ani A.

Yelp
YUM! I went here with a friend for the first time the other day and am kicking myself for not coming sooner. These homemade artisan sandwiches are unbelievably fresh and flavorful. The green smoothie was also one of the best I've ever tasted! It was a great spot to sit and catch up with a friend. I received my order really fast as well. Will definitely be back!

Doug G.

Yelp
*This Review is based off of a drink and the service...I sadly did not partake in the namesake bagels...at least not yet!" We recently stayed at an AirBnB that located a few blocks away and while we were waiting to check in, we explored the Sylvan Heights area and came across Star Bagel Cafe, which sits in the restaurant row area of the neighborhood. I was just after an iced coffee of some sort and luckily they had just what I was craving, an Iced Mocha! I placed my order than wondered around the small café to see what they had going on before eventually settling down at a table to wait. They asked me my name, so I figured they would call once ready, but after about 4 minutes of waiting I walked up to the counter and saw my drink with my name ticket on top of it. Not sure if that is the process, but seemed odd as I was one of only two folks waiting so a heads up I was good to go would have been nice. But, at the end of it all I got my Iced Mocha. Speaking of said beverage, you could definitely taste the mocha! It was almost overwhelmingly mocha. The ordering counter is essentially made up of the bagel case which showcased around 17 different variety of their homemade bagels! We did not partake this visit, but those bagels looked delish and then you add some of their house made spreads, boyyyyyyyyy! Speaking of the spreads, while I was waiting I canvased the cooler case where they held water, juices, granolas, salads and several varieties of their homemade cream cheese spreads! Service was ok. The person who took my order was all business and again, I did not interact with the person who made my drink...but maybe that is by design? The layout of the place is solid. You walk in the main doors and walk into the front counter. There are a few high tops tables in this area and then on the other side of the drink station you have a few low tops and booths where you can hang out. They do also have a cute patio with umbrellas as well. Parking could be problematic as there are limited spots in front and on the side, but given the nearby businesses and street parking, you should be good to go. Overall, my visit here was limited on time and product, but given the status of this little spot in the neighborhood, I can definitely see us coming back through on our next visit!

Kira S.

Yelp
Bagels were good. Staff was very confused about the status of my order after we inquired about it after waiting for a total of 30 minutes. Ordered 1 sliced and toasted bagel and 2 sliced bagels. The toasted bagel was bagged and ready in less than 5 minutes. The remaining 2 sliced ONLY bagels took an additional 20 minutes. Despite my husband and I checking on whether the remainder of the order was ready repeated times. Turns out the cook had sliced them and placed them on a table in the kitchen, but the cashier kept telling us they were coming out without checking with the kitchen staff until our last inquiry. Surely it doesn't take 30 minutes to slice 3 bagels and toast 1 of them? Probably won't return again after this experience.

Kristin J.

Yelp
As a former New Jerseyan, I know good bagels. This place does not have that. My everything bagel had rosemary on it. Yes, rosemary. I almost immediately hurled. Yuck! And, no salt. The quality and taste was identical to a Dunkin' bagel... The lack of cutting it in half was reminiscent of the latter as well. Waited 30 minutes for an overpriced, extremely underwhelming bagel. Tennessee natives may believe these bagels are great but fellow northerners, avoid!

Emily A.

Yelp
Line was way too long and serve was too slow for an average bagel. Could just be what I ordered but I was it impressed.

Terence S.

Yelp
Great bagels, sandwiches, and smoothies. I love their breakfast sandwiches. I would definitely recommend

Nicole T.

Yelp
Was craving bagels on an early Sunday morning that allowed online ordering. I stumbled across Star Bagel and after browsing the menu I decided to give it a try. I rarely try out a place without reading the reviews, but i took a chance this time. I'm so glad I did because my bagel and coffee was delicious. I ordered the Santa Fe Breakfast Bagel which I highly recommend. I also ordered a caramel coffee (can't remember the exact name) but it was so good as well. The only drawback was that the food wasn't ready at the scheduled pickup time. It wasn't an issue because even though the place was packed, everyone got their food really quick. If you haven't tried it, you should definitely check this place out!

Mckenzie L.

Yelp
So good we all loved what we got and I don't think there's a bad option on the menu! Staff was super nice and there was fast service!

Liv G.

Yelp
One Star for service- just left Star Bagel 4.22.23 Store was packed per usual happy to wait I waited in line for 15 minutes (it's Saturday morning so no big deal) packed house per usual - the young girl at the register took our order - I asked for two asiago sandwiches & two juices from the cooler- 15 minutes after ordering when our name was called - we only found one sandwich in the bag- I asked her about this, if another was coming she said no, the lady next in line politely let me go ahead to resolve the problem. The girl working at the register had no idea how to handle the situation- didn't offer to take another order, or just make the second sandwich and she looked confused, and asked the line cook for help - the cook said to go back to the end of the line and reorder. My response was I already waited in this line once and I have to wait again because of your Mistake ? The cook replied - "fine just take her order" I asked- how long will I need to wait for this sandwich ? Another 15- I said really ? I have a appointment at 10:30AM The girl said it was their busiest time. Waiting 30 minutes only to get 1/2 of my order. Then have staff ask me to get back in line & wait another 30 minutes is ridiculous and poor customer service. I am requesting a full refund after my appointment is over. Mistake happen that's not the problem- the problem is how the staff handled it!

Todd S.

Yelp
Real deal! Don't sleep on the Za'atar bagel and the preserved lemon cream cheese (get it with a tomato slice too)!!

Sean M.

Yelp
Stopped by early on our way out of town heading home. Arrived early before the lines/rush. Ordered a lox everything bagel and a blueberry bagel with cream cheese and a cold brew. I got my order and they forgot the bagel and cc. I went back and was given the bagel without cc. I went back and got the cc. The lox and bagel was delicious, one of my favorites. The blueberry bagel was great. The bagels were well made, crisp outer shell with fluffy. Muffins in the showcase looked delicious. The cold brew was very enjoyable. The service was very friendly. The footprint for seating is very small but open in these trying times. There are outdoor tables for sunny warmer days. The food quality earns the fourth star. Recommended Slainte!!

Fillis F.

Yelp
Delicious fresh bagels. Yummy! I highly recommend this place over Bruggers. Staff friendly and helpful.

Hannah M.

Yelp
This is such an incredible staple in Sylvan Park. The bagels, lunch sandwiches, the honey bee latte! Wow. Such an awesome place with great staff.

Libby G.

Yelp
Not the best but not the worst. Subpar honestly! I'm also a stickler about my bagels so it was still a great one just not my fav! I got a sausage egg and cheese on ET!

Julia F.

Yelp
I love star bagel so much... I can walk there from where I live so it's super convenient. However... the wait time is absolutely painful. Even if you order online it is always 30-40 mins past when they say it will be ready. If you order there, make sure you're carving out like 2 hours to wait and eat your food. It's crazy. The food is fantastic and the staff is great... but they really need a better system for orders and crowds. The wait time is just painful for a bagel and coffee. I made an online order today at 11 am and they said it would be ready at 11:30. I walked over at 11:30 and waited for 20 mins in a crowd of people... then asked when they thought it would be ready and they said another 5. Actually ended up being 15 mins. Insane. Also very little seating. It's a great spot for great food... but make sure you have a LOT of time to hangout for a bit! Lol

Karri S.

Yelp
The updated one star review is for the total lack of public safety and concern during the corona virus outbreak. My partner and I decided to go for a walk and stop in since we know lots of local businesses are struggling during this time. We now live close enough to walk. We've seen local restaurants posting what they are doing to help stop the spread and stay open. Star Bagel seems to be encouraging the spread instead of easing fears. The first thing I noticed is that there is no large menu posted, only handheld menus in the basket - tattered, worn, and clearly not being cleaned between guests use. It wouldn't take much to tape a menu up so people can look and decide but not touch. I didn't want to touch the menu myself, so I asked the younger guy behind the counter what kinds of cream cheese were available. He said the menus were behind me and I reminded him no one should be handling menus. He begrudgingly told me what the options were after I asked again. We really should have left then. Clearly this is just the right place for a virus to spread. While we waited for our bagels to go, I also noticed no one cleaning off the tables as people left or any sanitation stations around. Good luck staying open during this time with so little regard for the community supporting you. We won't be back. They also don't boil their bagels so no one is missing out by going somewhere else.

Lindsey F.

Yelp
Great food. Great customer service. The Dr. Flynn's Cold Elixer tasted like a homemade, healthy smoothie.

Cara K.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE the bagel with lox. Don't forget the capers. Even tho it was $8 I felt like I was back in NYC and had flashbacks to Russ and Daughters. I'll be back.

Sherry Y.

Yelp
Solid bagel place in the heart of the Sylvan Park neighborhood near McCabe Park. The line is usually out the door, but this place does solid bagel sandwiches for brunch. My partner got a few bagel sandwiches to go from here recently, and they lived up to the local hype. He also said, given the line of patrons, service was still pretty fast considering, around a 15 minute wait by the time of his exit. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and the Denver. These sandwiches are packed with eggs, so come prepared with an empty stomach. I would say the toppings are fairly traditional. For example, the breakfast sandwich comes with bacon, egg, and cheese. Some of their other options include favorites like lox and cream cheese, so there should be something for everyone's breakfast. We ordered everything on sun-dried tomato bagels, but they have several options like everything, challah, garlic, honey wheat, poppy, sesame, and much more. If you're willing to wait just a bit, you're in for a delicious, rich breakfast with some trully delectable bagel options.

Cammie A.

Yelp
So good and the line moves so fast. 10/10 recommend. Try the juice options too, you won't regret it at all!

Alexis R.

Yelp
Nice customer service but the bagels are even better! The coffee is okay! Breakfast Bagel

Tucker P.

Yelp
First time and got a bacon egg & cheese on a E.T bagel. Pretty plain with not much flavor at all.... I prefer H&S bagels over this place.

Tanya D.

Yelp
Star Bagel has definitely gone downhill over the years. I used to be a supporter of the local shop but never again. My past few orders have been wrong with missing ingredients but the final straw was getting a bagel with RAW bacon on it. I tried calling and messaging to give them a chance to make things right but everything has been ignored. Complete joke of an establishment! You can't take constructive criticism or right the wrongs you've made, so you just ignore your customers?? Why should I spend $20 on a bagel and coffee from an establishment that doesn't care about what they're giving to customers. Especially trying to give someone RAW bacon!? Ever hear of a thing called food poisoning??? Specifically trichinosis?! Star Bagel is definitely a NEVER AGAIN. So disappointing to the Sylvan Park community!!!

Nicolette T.

Yelp
I feel like I'm back in the northeast again after stopping by at Star Bagel Cafe. It's the rush and buss of city life, where you grab your simply delicious bagel and coffee while trying to snake through the people all squished into one building. It's a bit hectic, but that's its charm. You know food is good when you have to wait in line with lots of other people just trying to grab their bite. After carefully looking through the menu I settled for the Green Eggs and Ham bagel sandwich, and an iced honey bee latte. I was lucky enough to snag one of the last open tables left. I could not have eaten my meal any faster, I debated ordering another one to go, but I figured I just gave my excuse to come back again real soon.

Grant E.

Yelp
After seeing numerous top tier reviews for star bagel cafe I was ready to give it a shot but I am leaving quite unimpressed. The bagels seemed to be on the smaller side compared to most other places in the area. On top of being a bit small they lacked toppings for what the pricing was. I had the lox bagel and maybe had two sheets of fish at most. The cream cheese overpowered the lox completely and left me with an extreme desire for more of what I was hoping to get out of this meal.

Don F.

Yelp
Bagel was mid. Honestly tasted like a bagel you'd get from the grocery store. Cream cheese was watery and runny. They also didn't put very much of it on the bagel. The reason I'm giving two stars is because of the price. $4 for a crappy bagel with barely any cream cheese. Total rip off. The biscuits are actually better than the bagels. The green eggs and ham wasn't bad, but they also skimped on the ham. Paper thin slices. If you want a good bagel don't go here, go to H&S Bagels instead.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Did not have a good experience here. It took 40 minutes to get one sandwich. The sandwich was made incorrectly and I went up to tell them they told me I had to wait 30 minutes for a new one. I said ok and went to eat it. There was an avocado peel in the sandwich. I went back up to tell them and they rudely told me I had to wait 30 minutes if I wanted a new one. The food besides that was very good, but the service was not.

Jackson W.

Yelp
Good bagel spot in a great neighborhood! Hot coffee and fresh tasting bagels, they definitely don't skimp on cream cheese either

Aaron W.

Yelp
I hear this place has been around forever and I'm so happy that it remains a cherished neighborhood staple. While everything around it is hip and trendy, this place has relied on their great product and strong customer base and there's no reason to mess with a good thing. There was a line out the door when I visited and that's exactly what I love to see from a spot that has been so devoted to its community for so long!

Thad B.

Yelp
This is an easy one. Bagels are either really good or really bad. These are really good. I never need anything special when it comes to breakfast, (though let's be honest, I came in for lunch) just tasty bread and tasty spread. Star has both of these. This place feels more neighborhood driven and cozy than some of the other bagel spots around town. I ordered an espresso that was kickin' too. Indulge.

Ben C.

Yelp
Great place to come to after a night out in downtown Nashville. Enjoyed the breakfast bagel and green smoothie. The Breakfast Bagel was nicely toasted and the cheese melted. The green smoothie drink was also very refreshing and not too sweet. What I like most about this place is its location next to the community center and Park. Good place to come grab your order and take it to the park to enjoy especially during covid-19. Just a tip I would recommend ordering ahead of time using Uber Eats app it will save you time waiting in line.

Mary G.

Yelp
I had a delicious breakfast here at Star Bagel. I got their Early Bird breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, and tomato) on an everything bagel along with a small iced coffee with a shot of peppermint. The prices here were very reasonable for food and AMAZING for fancy coffee drinks. A small iced coffee (which is the size of a medium anywhere else) was only $2.75 and adding flavor was just $0.60 more. The peppermint made it refreshing, creamy, and not too sweet. My bagel was piping hot and generously stacked with ingredients, and thankfully they put the tomato in between the eggs and cheese so it wouldn't make the bagel soggy - a pet peeve of mine at many breakfast places! I also got to try my friend's blended Snow Cap drink (like an iced cappuccino smoothie) which was so yummy. Looking forward to returning to Star Bagel on my next Nashville trip! If you can't find a menu to read while you wait in line, try to get one from the check stand where they seem to pile up.

Brandon S.

Yelp
American flag on their sleeves, an American flag hanging above the bar, great food, and an obvious love for what they are offering the customers. I enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spot for breakfast. Coffee was fresh and delicious, locally sourced and the owner focuses on buying from fair trade and responsibly grown sources. Only issue I had with it is that the service was a little slow, but some things in life are worth the wait, and I think the wait here in order to support an honest local business, is worth the time.

Yelp
Best bagels in Nashville. Brooklyn worthy. Coffee is fantastic, my only suggestion is order online. Great businesses mean they're busy, and this place certainly is. Worth a visit in the grossly underrated Sylvan Park borough.

Yelp
Barely any cream cheese on the bagel. The egg is like Einsteins microwaved egg. Big disappointment for a local shop with good reviews. Not sure why everyone loves it.
