The place is clean. not too cozy s a good place to grab a cuban pizza, and I also think they can put a bit more cheese on the pizza . The real cuban pizza should have a lot of cheese coming out of. That's how we identify our cuban pizza. The service was good and attentive. Even though I waited more than I should for a couple of pizzas while there weren't too many people when I went in.

Very delicious pizzas! The dough isn’t too thick like other places that make Cuban pizza, and the edges are toasted and crispy. I also tried the milkshake but it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. It was my first time going and it certainly won’t be my last.

This is the real cuban pizza. Lots of cheese, thick crust and that really crunchy border that we cubans know and love. The milkshakes are delicious too. The staff is very nice and the prices are good.

OMG the pasta and pizza are delicious I will definitely recommend this place, y el batido de mamei (de helado de mamei) was awesome!!!!

Thanks to Star Chiguas's Team and specially to my waitress Dagmaris for been such a professional. As I arrived they kindly envited me to seat by the coffee bar and wait for the table I requested, but the service was so good that I decided to order my pizza by the bar. The pizza was tasteful as well as the suero de helado. Loved this place. Can't wait to return once again.

Non sense pizza place, great staff and amazing pizza. I ordered a half and half pepperoni and ham family size pizza and it was delicious! Well covered in cheese but not salty which it was weird considering the amount of cheese. They have juices, coffees and ice cream.

I'm always on the lookout for Italian food, especially so on National Pizza Day and even more in my hood. Granted, the star pizza concept had been premiered elsewhere locally and there's that line about the definition of flattery but anywho... Star Chigua is tucked away in a strip mall right off West 16th Avenue and near a Mexican place and a few other businesses. There are both tables and a cafeteria-style counter (which is where I sat). Service was about adequate for a busy Friday night, though I did have to check on my order once or twice. To their credit, they did comp the colada (I had asked for cortadito, but they didnt make it..ok) As I've mentioned before, Cuban pizza is similar to Chicago style with a deep dish crust. My pie obvs had a lot if cheese, and seemed a little light on the actual marinara sauce. I ended up having to ask for extra sauce. Toppings tasted alright, and maybe next time I'll ask for extra sauce right off the bat.

Poor service. the phone does not work or people talking which make imposible for client to make an order. they didn't greet client and answered in rude way when client asked about phone problem. very rude service. only in Hialeah. poor service and bad quality. after 35 minutes waiting for a cheese pizza, the pizza was borned and no cheese in there. Bad deal, they were distinguish for their quality and the amount of cheese they put in the pizza, but now they are the same or worse than any other place

After reading all the reviews on here and google had to try when I was in the area. Don't take this the wrong way, but if this is what good pizza is to Cubans you should stick to the Ropa Vieja and Lechon Asado. That's your sweet spot. Leave the pizza to the Italians. This was a doughy, mushy thing. Hardly any sauce. Tasted like canned sauce and cheap cheese. Honestly reminds me of a Pizza Hut or Sbarro that are under the heat lamps on a highway rest stop.

The spaghetti was cold and there's little effort in how they prepare it. It seems like a kids meal that was quickly put together. The pizza is overrated, pretty average in my opinion.

I came here with my boyfriend and my brother to meet-up with some friends. First off the customer service was a little off since there was one waitress tending to us and then another one would come with the same food. I had the pizza estrella which was very cheese, crusty, and full of toppings. We also have garlic bread which was pretty good too. Overall I would give this pizza a 3.75.

Very clean place , best Cuban pizza in town , very quick and great service over the phone or in person . Highly recommended .

Absolutely delicious. First time I'm here. Very flavorful pizza and spaghetti. Had the vegetable pizza and hawaiana, so good. I included pictures and videos so you can see how fresh the cheese is. Highly recommend

I was born in Cuba and have gone back to visit multiple times and now I have been here. I have gotten pizza in both places. This is as authentic as it gets!! If you're looking for Cuban pizza, you need to come here! I'm still trying to figure out the name of the cheese they use, but it taste just how I remember it from back home. It's crispy. It's cheesy. It's fluffy. It's absolutely scrumptious!!

Delicious cuban pizza ! Its crispy and cheesy. The only reason why i gave it 4 stars is because the service is whatever. I ussually get take out and have to call 4 or 5 times until they pick up to take my order. The spaghetti is alright, but the pepperoni and the chorizo pizza is awesome!

The pizza is not as great, ive had better. Its not as crispy as it looks. Chocolate shake was good. Garlic sticks were good aswell.

I've tried many Cuban pizza places in hialeah area and this one has been my favorite for many years. I've never stay to eat on the restaurant I've only picked up pizza to go. The only two items of the menu I've tried are the pizzas and shakes and both have been always delicious!
