Google
Close quick and easy they even have their own free parking lot. Smaller store with a great selection of your everyday needs. Great produce, bakery selection , meats and cheeses. Did I mention they have their own free parking lot! They take all the Shaw's coupons. I'm giving four stars because it is a smaller store and don't always have everything your looking for and the lines are long with usually only one or two cashiers are open at a time.

Google
Good choice, plenty of items to chose from. Have a bakery, a fishmonger, a meat area. Prices are high, as in every star market. Certain items are as expensive as at wholefoods but the cleanliness and service are not as good as wholefoods. This supermarket has parking.

Elaine

Google
Selena, a manager at Fenway Star market was courteous, knowledgeable and professional in resolving my issue. I appreciate her going above and beyond to even find the item that was right for me. Thanks, and very appreciated!

I wanted to buy fresh lobsters so I was quite disappointed to find out that there was not a fresh seafood stall in this Star Market branch. But otherwise this is a well-organized supermarket with decent amount of food selections. I did not encounter any attitude problems as mentioned by previous customers as I used the self-help pay counter.

Today I had the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had in the United States at Star Market. We purchased a promotional item, and usually we choose the staffed checkout counter for such purchases to avoid mistakes at self-checkout. However, today there were no employees at any staffed registers, so we had no choice but to use self-checkout. At the register, we did not see the expected discount applied, so we asked an employee working in the self-checkout area (a woman with glasses and curly hair). Her attitude was extremely rude. My partner could not clearly understand what she was saying, but instead of explaining patiently, she spoke to us as if she were holding back anger. Because of her constant rushing, we accidentally missed scanning a bag, and she became visibly angry, telling my partner to “step back” in a harsh tone, without any polite language. Throughout the entire interaction, both my partner and I remained polite, yet she treated us badly. What made it worse was that when interacting with other customers, her tone was noticeably friendlier. This contrast made us wonder if her behavior toward us was influenced by assumptions about our English ability or background, left us feeling particularly unwelcome. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had in the U.S., and it left a very negative impression of Star Market.

Google
I had such a great experience at Star Market thanks to my cashier, Neil. He went above and beyond, offering thoughtful tips and spending real time with me to make sure I had the best experience possible. It wasn’t rushed or routine; it was genuine and helpful. Neil made my visit feel personal and welcoming. Grateful for service like his—he’s a true asset to the store!

Once again this is the place to go! I enjoy shopping at Star Market for the Friendly Staff! They always make it worth the trip. I enjoy the staff here and there friendly service. Always ready to help you find what it is you are looking for. The flower department is always worth stopping by to see. Fresh Flowers and arrangements to choose from. The girl who works at the flower department always knows how to pick out the best flowers for your occasion.

Mr. Dana B.

Google
Always have everything I need and I find it fast to self checkout but if you choose to go through a normal line cashiers are courteous and fast

Yelp
Neil is the best employee here at Star Market Fenway!! Always smiling and always ready to help all customers. Please give him a raise or a promotion. He told us about the app and extra savings and to clip all the coupons beforehand! Now I try to remember to do that and it definitely adds to the savings!! The store has everything you need although it is a city store and not the suburbs so can't expect the same in terms of space and items, but still it's pretty good for weekly shopping. I like the fruit platters and the veggie platters and small fruit and veggie cups. Very healthy and also placed right at the front when you walk in the store main entrance. The produce section is decent but they don't have herbs like cilantro. They also have a decent grab n go prepared foods, soups and meals section. Sometimes we get the rotisserie chicken and sometimes the 8-piece grilled chicken. A lot of these conveniences are great especially for this area that has a high density of students and professionals who are busy. For some things we'll price compare with Target and get it either here or there whichever is a better price that week - like yogurts and milk. We like the salad bags and here there are fewer options than Target but again not a dealbreaker. Don't forget to check out the markdown shelves at the very end of the store! It's great that they also have a parking lot in this prime location in the city which also has a couple electric vehicle charging stations. Currently the store is all decorated for Valentine's Day - love is in the air - literally- with those floating hearts balloons :) And of course strategically placed teddy bears with hearts for those last minute impulse buys on February 13th or maybe even the 14th lol ;).

Yelp
The smell is so fishy and rancid the second you walk in. It's so bad, that after you bring it home, your food tastes like the smell. It's nauseating. There's giant holes in the ground poorly covered with duct tape. There's stains and smells on the ground. The workers are sad, bored, and unenthusiastic...and I would be too if I had to work in this trash heap of a grocery store. Don't buy your stuff here. I made an account just to make this review. If this app lets me edit, I'll provide photos later. DISGUSTING.

Yelp
"Conveniently located in Fenway with parking lot" This is conveniently located in the Fenway area. It has a parking lot . Inside it's a big grocery store with everything you'll need to feed yourself or family . The prices are not too bad . You can also register with your number to their savings program. A huge selection of foods from all over the world .

Yelp
I had to leave a shopping cart full of groceries in the middle of the store to take my kid back home to use the restroom. We live a 10-minute walk from the store. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to pay or return the groceries to the shelves. Keeping your restrooms open during store hours would be a smart and basic courtesy. It's the least you can do for your customers, especially parents with young children
google avatar

Sasa P.

Yelp
Would I choose to go to this grocery on the reg? Probably not. It's not the nicest place, the prices are high, and the staff are pretty apathetic. Is it very convenient to have a full grocery in the middle of the city if you're staying nearby while visiting Boston? Absolutely.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
This photo sums up the respect star market has for their customers. Not only does the place smell but there are multiple issues with cleanliness and freshness. Hard to understand how corporate can sleep at night.

Yelp
Five employees between sushi and deli departments. At least five minutes past, I say excuse me is any one working the deli? The employee at the deli says yes and continues doing whatever he's doing. Although he's gloved he was eating deli meet. Another gentlemen came from the back and asked what I wanted. I said please genoa salami 3/4 pound sliced thin. He proceeds to slice. When I see it on weight machine I ask if I could see the salami as it looked thick. I was correct and the employee stood there so I asked if he could reslice. Without a doubt based on the look he gave me and taking a breath started to slice again . He presented the salami from a distance and I asked if he could bring the meat closer and clearly annoyed he did. I took hold the sample and I was skeptical. Another employee at the deli said that as thin as it can go or it shreds. I have had it thinner but felt so unwelcome that I accepted it. This is the worst customer service from any store I have visited. I will call the day manager because they were lazy AND rude. I also want to add that I go to this Star maybe twice a month. I would give my experiences with the seafood department and cashier's fantastic scoring a Five. Manager please address this issue.

Yelp
Kudos to Neil @33 Kilmarnock street Boston for going above and beyond to explain and assist in setting up the Star market app. It took more than 12 mins but Neil was patient and upbeat. Great customer service Neil!.Appreciative customer 01/25 11.54

Yelp
I will usually will always find some sort of silver in a lining but IDK about this one. Waited for 15 minutes at the bakery department for a scheduled pickup, no MNGR assistance to pick up this cake, see picture. Never been somewhere where anyone knew less about something else than this and I work in a hotel...

Mildred C.

Yelp
On 11/27/24, I needed assistance at self checkout. A very nice young man whose name is Neil went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. He was very patient, courteous & professional. We need more people like Neil in this world.

Carolyn J.

Yelp
Today I had the pleasure to meet Neil who helped me with the Star Market App, he saved me $9 dollars. Neil was very informative and just placed a reminder on every Monday to click on the discount items. Please make sure Star Market give Neil his recognition of his work and customer skills.

Joe R.

Yelp
Without question, the worst chain of supermarkets in Massachusetts. The stores are always unkempt and littered; the prices are no bargain; the registers are ALWAYS understaffed; and - likely least acceptable to people who walk into the places TO SPEND HARD-EARNED money - the "help" are the very antithesis of the term! I live in western Mass., but I commuted into Boston on a daily basis, for well over a decade during the late '90's and early 2000's. On rare occasions and only reluctantly, I would pick up a few things at Star Market stores. Never found one that didn't fit the above description, THEN..., and after walking into the Boylston Street store today - again reluctantly and out of she- er necessity ( I am currently in Boston for just over 2 weeks, with the Love of my Life, who is being treated at Dana-Farber for her illness ), I must say that NOTHING has improved. In fact, the store was even more unkempt and the "help" were even worse, than I had recalled. I think Star Markets owes its customers a lot more, than it offers. Management needs to get off its ass and EARN those hard-earned dollars being spent by good people who deserve far more respect, courtesy, value and service than they're receiving! You can take THAT to the bank!

Yelp
I was there this past Saturday about 1:30 pm. I went to the seafood counter to get some Salmon. I got it and asked the worker to cut the skin off. He told me they don't do that here. I knew it was a lie. Just didn't want to do it!

Ann P.

Yelp
At checkout, Neil was amazing. Not only did he sell me on the value of getting the app so that I could save money but he went way above and beyond to ensure that I understood how to use. I haven't experienced that level of friendliness and excellent customer service in eons. He's a rare gem and I can't say enough good things about him. Made my day. Thanks Neil.

Yelp
Extremely rude employees in the self-checkout corners. I brought my service dog with me and one of the employees who was suppose to help me with the discount code was telling me to move the dog out of her way and we were already more than 7ft away from her. I told her it's a service dog, and she shouted at me with such a loud voice where other ppl in the check out could hear- "It's different". I asked what's different and all she did was repeating that it's different. No reasoning behind her attitude- just super annoyed by us for no reason. Maybe it's because I requested for a help when she was in the middle of chatting with her colleagues. I don't understand what she wanted to say at this point but her attitude was very rude as she'd constant shake her head at me, and telling me to move the dog when my dog was already held by my roommate 10ft away from her. Can't believe her unmannerly facial expression, looking at us with such a despise when we passed by her after checking out. Extremely unpleasant and unprofessional.

Yelp
1.5/5 for the donuts, but 2.5/5 overall Pros: -The reason I come back is for the very strong ice cream selection (possibly one of the best in the Boston area...) Cons: -Seems like the most expensive grocery store in Boston -Lines can be outrageously long and slow-moving at peak times -- Boston Cream Donut ($0.89) Yeast donut with chocolate icing and sprinkles filled with bavarian cream. The dough was unfortunately very stale and dry at 5:30PM on a Thursday and, while festive, the sprinkles definitely took away from the texture of this donut. The chocolate was just OK (on the darker side), but the cream was decent. Definitely wouldn't buy again unless there are days/times the dough is fresher. Chocolate Croissant ($1.69) Butter is the strongest flavor. It doesn't even taste like chocolate--just butter. Also fairly stale at 5:30pm on a Thursday.

Yelp
Very distasteful. Better of spending the extra money to get good food from one of the nearby restaurants. As you can see, this pasta is way over cooked and tastes like mush. I thought it'll be good because it was the only one left but I was sadly mistaken.

Patricia M.

Yelp
My name is Mrs. Patricia Mitchell Seams. Today Neil helped me with everything I was absolutely in pain., and I also have a hand injury. I was so appreciative that he was helping me. He was absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much for hiring him. Please have a great day.

James W.

Yelp
Fenway Star never fails to disappoint. Went for two items, Baby Swiss and cole slaw. Left with just Baby Swiss, no cole slaw in Deli Dept. Really? No cole slaw in Deli?
google avatar

Rosie Q.

Yelp
An easy and accessible grocery store right in Fenway. Pros: The only reason why I go to Star Market is out of convenience. Or just pure laziness. On certain weeks, I don't want to spend time after work or on my weekends to go grocery shopping so I do it during my lunch break. They have fresh produces and groceries that I need to get through the week. Cons: Messy clusters, understaffed (twice~over 20mins in line), poor management. And the guy at the deli is a total D.

Yelp
I am sorry to say that I have to update my review to one star. I went in to get a healthy snack. I chose a fruit bowl that was on sale two for four dollars I also took one apple from the tote apples at $.77 per pound, a Tropicana orange juice and a personal sized box of Pirouline. I waited over five minutes in line for the cashier to ring in my bowl of fruit at $4.99 for one when they were advertised with big signs all over the display two for four dollars she left the register came back and told me that you have to buy three for $12 which is ridiculous because that was the large size I bought the personal Single serving size for two dollars they were advertised heavily, there must've been five or six signs everywhere two for four dollars so I told her to forget it because there were nine people behind me in line. She just wouldn't listen she proceeds to ring in my Apple at $1.99 per pound when the sign specifically said $.77 per pound. Granted I got one apple but it's the principle of it that she did this right after I had to put my fruit away I'd have to get out a line to go shop and get something else this really disturbed my whole evening I'm very upset and I hope a manager reads this. The cashiers name was Imani and she really did not care that she did anything incorrectly I frequent here and I am very disappointed with the customer service. I'll have to make do with one overpriced Apple and a couple Pirouline. This star market gets a solid five stars the fact that it's open 24 hours a day in the heart of Boston is amazing. Floral department is fantastic with Beautiful flowers that are fresh and arranged perfectly. The store is kept clean and functionable. They also sell beer and wine. There are always amazing specials especially in the meat department. Clerks are very courteous. They have a good size private parking lot so extremely easy to shop here
google avatar

Fundador M.

Yelp
I like to shop instar market but not here all the employees are so rude never shopping here again

Jen T.

Yelp
I cannot emphasize enough how much I hate this place. This is the worst Star Market in the greater Boston area; probably the worst in the world. The inventory is awful. The customer service is awful. The aisles are always extremely crowded. Everything is disorganized and hard to find. Half of the self checkout machines are always broken. The back entrance is always closed. If I could use one word to describe this place it would be: headache. I hope it permanetly shuts down.
google avatar

Alice W.

Yelp
The most customer unfriendly store ever created,! Months go by when no shopping carts are available. Online shopping is inefficient. Customer service ignores phone calls and pick up service is inaccurate! No way to know whether items you ordered will be correct. Inside shopping is difficult with aisles blocked by employees stocking shelves and refuse to let you pass! If you value your time and energy stay away from the 33 Kilmarnock St Boston Ma store!
google avatar

Julie I.

Yelp
The renovated supermarket is much better laid out and organized/cleaner than it was previously. The floral department is pretty well maintained and they offer a wide variety of options. Their bakery goods are also sufficient but could be better in terms of options compared to other supermarkets. I came here recently for a customized cake and flowers. Both items came out surprisingly nice especially given the reasonable cost. They offer an unbeatable value for the price.
google avatar

Goku U.

Yelp
Standard star market. They have a Starbucks inside and they also sell alcohol. The fresh fruits and vegetables are sub-par and a limited selection. I like going to the Prudential location more than the Fenway one. They're usually always busy and checkers are a hit or miss.

Megan M.

Yelp
It is always terribly under stocked and a poor selection of options. Bread is never fresh. Most of the time the grab and go food is empty. The only reason I go to this market is convenience and even then I dread going. Typically have to wait to use self checkout despite there being 8 of them. Half the time the door facing Boylston is locked and you have to walk over to the parking lot entrance. The seating outside is sad and pathetic. Employees seem rude. Only reason it is still in business is because Target is not an actual grocery store and the closest other option is Whole Foods which is a relatively far walk for Fenway residents. It's also depressing af inside. The only perk is the Starbucks and most of the time I go it seems closed or not well run.
google avatar

Nikita S.

Yelp
Pros of this Star Market: - It's sizable enough to not feel cramped - Has a great parking lot that's easy to get in/out of - Good selection, including some fresh baked goods, some prepared foods - 24 hour opening - Starbucks inside - You can buy stamps here! Cons: - It feels like they never have enough people at the cashiers - no matter what time or how many people are in line, you have to wait for quite a while - Sometimes, the lines can back up through much of the front of the store so it can be really hard to move around through the front - it can be more expensive than other local grocery stores Definitely a good place to go when you need to pick up things in the area, but not my regular grocery store!

Wossen G.

Yelp
neil is amazing, very helpful, funny , knows his products , honestly he needs to become a manager asap , give neil a raise. true definition of customer service!!!! thank you neil for being amazing i appreciate everything you do :)

Yelp
Before I review this location, I want to say something about Michelle K's review below: anyone who doesn't like a business because there are people from Saudi Arabia in the store really needs to look at their themselves and ask "why do I hate so much?". Of course, haters tend to blame everyone else, and for some odd reason, Yelp said her review was OK when I flagged it (and she has two for this location). Anyhow..... Two great things about this location: Unbelievably nice girl at the bakery named Asiah (sp?) who makes you think you have just walked into a 5-star bakery instead of perusing muffins on sale. If I had more time, I would have chatted with her all night. Other great thing? Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Buns, a flavor I had not seen in at least 4 years, and that is probably a good thing as I would eat so many pints I would need cinnamon just to make my own buns look OK, but that is another story.

Josh G.

Yelp
I placed an order. it never arrived. they scheduled a redelivery. it also never arrived. their solution was a $5 credit. I will absolutely never shop here again

Nancy C.

Yelp
It's worth it to enroll in their Member Rewards program. Then you get special discounts on products you tend to buy--targeted marketing!

Johanna C.

Yelp
I asked an employee where the shopping carts where he rudely told me there were only four so I have to find one myself. The only one I found was broken and had a chewed up peach pit in it. Disgusting. Please shop literally anywhere else. How is it acceptable that there are no shopping carts? Worst grocery shopping experience I've ever had. Store is a mess. The security guard was rude as well.
google avatar

Natalie T.

Yelp
This is a super convenient star market with good prices and a lot of variety. It has a Starbucks inside so I can get my coffee fix too! There's just about every kind of food here including a wine aisle, a deli, and a section for ready to eat food. The only problem is that the store gets very crowded very fast which leads to long wait times in line.
google avatar

Danielle - A Pseudonym B.

Yelp
This place used to be pretty terrible. But fortunately due to competition, they bothered to step up their game with renovations and improvements The lines are always dreadfully long, and they don't have conveyors, so check out can be quite awkward. But most of the people here are pretty pleasant. Just the other night I was here and a foreign couple was requiring a lot of extra service from the cashier, and she was very patient and sweet with them. Managers are good, but there is one young man who works in produce on Sunday night, who I am pretty sure is going to stab a customer at some point. One time I asked him a question unrelated to the store, but about parking, and he narrowed his eyelids at me and said, "How the f-ck would I know that?" Eeek. Sorry for engaging. But generally everybody else is decent.

Zoe G.

Yelp
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEWARE OF SCAMMERS Andrew at the deli tried to scam me. I asked for 1/3 a pound of meat. When he started cutting the meat I noticed that he wasn't stopping and it looked like way more than 1/3 a pound. He handed it to me and I clarified by asking "This is a third a pound right?". He said no but I was only getting charged for 1/3. I walked away and then noticed that I was getting charged 5.20 for meat that was 9.99/lb.... I went back to the counter and told him that I was getting charged for more than half a pound when I specifically did not ask for that. He then put a new price tag on the ham for 2.80.

Seth E.

Yelp
If your choice is starve or shop here, you might want to choose the former. This store is woefully understocked and staffed by rude incompetent people. You may think the stock issue here has to do with the shortages affecting the entire country, but you'd be wrong--the Prudential store doesn't have the same issues. As for the employees, it's best to try not to deal with them--they are bad at their jobs and rude. Once I was going through the checkout line and apparently had an Anjou pear in with a bag of Bartlett pears, they were all the same price per pound and I also had a bag of Bartlett pears in my cart. The checkout guy accused me of trying to steal. I was confused and asked what he was talking about, and he pointed out the pear in the incorrect bag. I told him they were the same price and pointed out the bag with the other Bartlett pears. He told me "don't do it again," in a threatening tone. What a dolt. If you must go to a star market for any reason, head to Prudential, they are well stocked and well staffed. As for this store, I think they get the castoffs, both of food and people. It also frequently smells of sewage in the meat section.
google avatar

Sputnik C.

Yelp
Good small store, but the employees are the absolute worst. Watched an employee berate a customer at the self checkout for not moving fast enough. Managers stand by and do nothing about rude and condescending staff. Just terrible.
google avatar

Dimitrius M.

Yelp
Things have got a little better with their service since my first review but there are still a lot left to be desired from their service. The new young ladies who are currently employed at the in-house Starbucks are very friendly and attentive to their customers which is refreshing to see and very welcoming. I still need to see more improvements throughout the rest of the store though to be won over as a customer again.

M E.

Yelp
This is absolutely the worst supermarket I have ever been to. It seems like everything on the shelves is passed its expiration date. The employees are incredibly rude, the checkout are is utter chaos all the time. Do yourself a favor, spend a bit more and go to Whole Foods up the street.
google avatar

Alex W.

Yelp
I live in Fenway and don't have a vehicle, so I shop here simply because of the location. That being said, every single time I go in here, I leave frustrated from the very poor customer service. I'm not expecting sunshine and rainbows, but at the very least, don't be rude. I've have numerous experience where something entirely out of my hands (the product rang up the wrong price, or I was told to move to another line and then chastised for "cutting"), but I was made to feel like I hugely inconvenienced them or did something terrible. This was evidenced by the use comments and utterances under their breath as if I couldn't hear them. Honestly this place makes me feel terrible and the lines are genera horrendous. I would avoid at all costs...I'll probably walk a mile out of my way carrying bags of groceries just to avoid it.

Gregg S.

Yelp
Never Fails to Disappoint. I've used Star Markets for all 9 years that I've lived in Boston. First at Huntiington and now at Kilmarnock in Fenway. The one at huntington tried, and sometime succeeded, to improve itself. The Star at 33 Kilmarnock has taken a different path and actively antagonizes customers. My most recent experience was today (saturday) at 2pm. The store was very crowded as always. It has about 1/3 of the floor space at Huntington. So some of its choices are surprising. Despite what Star Market web site says, and an email from Corporate, they refuse to take recycling "films". Despite that almost every items in their store uses these, they refuse to accept them. And they want you to buy plastic bags if you want to recycle bottles. But today, They had one 15 or fewer cashier and one everything cashier. This situation lasted for over 20 minutes while 23 people (I counted) waited in the two lines. Of course, the 15 or fewer rule quickly went out the window, further inconveniencing the customers who just wanted to grab a quick item or two. I asked one of the stock-people to grab a manager and ask if they could open another line or two. I was told that the manager was busy and the AM was at customer-service. If I wanted to talk, I'd have to go over there. So I did. When I arrived at CS (45 seconds later) there was no Asst Manager and the woman working there didn't know where they were. I asked if she could open another line or two and she reached for a phone. I said Thank you and returned to the line. In a stunning display of either lack of awareness or not caring, no manager showed up and no one opened another line. By the way, NO ONE was using the self-service check-outs. They are flawed and their software interface looks like it was designed by someone arranging blocks in nursery school. Obviously bad if everyone was willing to wait in long lines rather than use the self-service. I've tried and its horrible. Finally it was my turn at checkout. The lady ringing my items started scanning and dropping on the counter as the couple ahead of me was still collecting their items. By the time they left, more then 2/3 of my items had been scanned and dumped. So I scrambled to put in my cart. When I finished and went to enter my phone number for the Rewards Program, I was told that I was too late. Its my fault, I shouldn't have packed my items. I was supposed to enter the number as soon as she started scanning. (Of course, I couldn't because the couple in front was still packing their items.) I love being blamed for things. Fortunately, Star has a monopoly here and, as such, will continue to do what they want. I'll leave their selection choices for another review. Glad I can't get 1/2 of the ingredients I'd like but I have the choice of 27 different types of corn chips. Thank goodness for online shopping. Have a great afternoon.

Yelp
I'll get to the point - buy what you can from Target, as it's often cheaper for the exact same thing. Case in point, Star offered almond butter for $12.99, so I went across the intersection where Target offered the exact same brand and size for $6.99. What groceries you can't buy from Target, buy from Star. The reason I am giving it such a low rating, aside from the often pricier items, is the congestion at the checkout counters. For such a busy store, they do not have nearly enough cashiers/baggers staffed. If I need just a roll of parchment paper or maybe a bag of mandarins, a quick two minute stroll turns into a 20 minute wait in line because of how slowly checkout proceeds, even during the non-rush hours of the day. The produce otherwise is pretty standard, but I try avoiding this place if I can. The best thing they can do is to get self checkout lanes. It would make everyone's day faster.

Yelp
Their alcohol policy really pisses me off. As someone who's over 21 with a valid license, I should be able to legally purchase alcohol--if it's so suspicious that I have an out-of-state license (I'm a student), scan it! Or ask for my many other forms of ID that will back it up. If you're under 25 and not from MA, you have to use a passport. Last night my friend tried to buy a bottle of wine for someone's birthday. She followed the stupid protocol of bringing a passport, only to STILL be denied her purchase because I was standing next to her (buying food, not alcohol) with an out-of-state license and no passport. That is just BS; I've never encountered such a policy anywhere else. The woman was condescending, acting like we were doing something sneaky...who would fake a freaking passport? Not to mention which, I wasn't even purchasing alcohol, so why should my friend be denied based on my license? Luckily Target is right across the street, and they have a better selection :)

Yelp
This morning I went in to get a sandwich and the manager at the sandwich bar was very rude asked if I was union and say that union worker sucked and stude around , didnt work at all ..the manager gave me a hard time to wrap my sandwich and told me to get a real job .. I wont ever go in to a star market again !!! So union workers shouldn't go to STAR MARKET???

Yelp
Awful. Overpriced and expired food. Do NOT buy the chocolate chip muffins if you are actually expecting to get chocolate chips in them. They sprinkle a few on top and when you break it open its empty. Completely empty. One time I got them they were great, obviously a competent person was baking that day. Next 3 times, nothing. It's ridiculous. I work across the street and would rather drive someplace else on my OWN time than ever give them another cent. Try Target across the street, much better and more reasonable prices.

Yelp
They clearly don't want people shopping here. Less than helpful employees that hate every customer. The criteria for hiring must prohibit any decent human beings from working here. After two instances of witnessing barbaric behavior towards shoppers, I bring my purchases up, and they tell me I need the App to get the sale prices. My phone had just died and I asked if there was anything they could do and they said no. I shouldn't need a a Smartphone to buy milk. Sale prices were higher than Walmart's regular prices. They basically told me to go F myself so I threw my basket full of stuff onto the floor and left while they laughed.
