I'm a bit hurt 😞 in giving this review but I had to. I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and have generally always been very satisfied with my food, as a matter of fact one of the owner's knows what I like to order down to the specifications and I absolutely love that. Today however was a disappointing and equally upsetting experience , first off there was a new young lady taking orders at the window she was not writing any orders down and trying to repeat them to the cook, I even had to correct her with repeating my order. Good help is hard to find. I usually order either a Gyro or King Steak sub I asked for everything, white cheese, grilled onions and extra extra pickles sub as my go to orders, today was the King Steak. I leave feeling confident that my order is ✅ upon opening up my sandwich when I get home only to find yellow cheese when I specified white cheese, I decided to let that slide until I took a bite and almost hurled from the pungent and overwhelming taste of raw onions when I clearly asked for grilled onions ,and then there was no extra pickle but yet loaded with extra extra raw onion to the point I felt sick and couldn't finish my food. I decided to call and it went straight to the answering service which enraged me. I felt like it was a waste of money and if I would have went back I would have probably behaved poorly because I seemed to have ended up with someone else's food or my requests were utterly ignored. Either way I was left with a BAD taste in my mouth. Time before this visit I ordered the Gyro and said no onion no cheese and add extra sauce, I ended up with cheese still. I don't know what's happening but I am really questioning my patronage in the future 😕
