The Best Things to Eat at Universal Epic Universe in Orlando | Eater Miami

"A Celestial Park snack kiosk with a very limited menu that includes Celestial Steamed Buns — an otherworldly purple bao stuffed with bok choy and mushrooms — and the tteokbokki skewer, described as a grilled hot dog and rice cake situation wrapped in a crispy griddled cheese crust, topped with sweet Japanese barbecue sauce and drizzled with yuzu aioli. The skewer is sweet, savory, crispy, and hits a broad range of snack flavors." - Eater

Had my eye on the fun bao dumplings and they did not disappoint!! I’ve never tried a steamed bao dumpling so that was very interesting. Bao buns are so yummy with the spongy thick bread, so just imagine a steamed dumpling that uses that delicious bao bread instead, and that’s what you have here. The celestial steamed bun uses ube bao to give it that out of space looking purple color. The insides are mostly vegetables with a salty soy sauce and it was mouth watering good. We shared the dumplings but could’ve gotten an order each ourselves. So good and will definitely be a go-to snack at Epic Universe. They also serve a teriyaki skewer that looked good but we were pretty focused on those steamed dumplings.

This was our first food stop in the park and we had to try the Bao Buns. I have never seen a theme park offer something like this and it was a fantastic first experience! The Bao Bun was very tasty and had great flavor, especially with the sauce which had some heat to it. My wife thought it was too spicy but I thought it paired well with the bun and wouldn't eat it without the sauce. Easy access between Stardust Racers and Isle of Berk allows for a quick stop to get a tasty treat. 15% passholder discount allowed here! 5/5 will return.

Visited during preview and I must say, this is one place I'll check out again when the park officially opens. The skewers were very tasty. If you like corn dogs, I'd consider this a classy version/take on it. Star Sui Bao is located right next to Ise Of Berk.

Really yummy! My boyfriend and I split a Celestial Bao order (so one dumpling per person) and they were so tasty! Perfectly filling, but not overly so, which is actually a good thing, since the heat can make you queasy in the middle of the day. The colors were fun, but be forewarned, you WILL see some, uh, "surprises" the next day if you get the Celestial (midnight blue) ones. Price was decent, portion was fine, I wish they had had more seating but we did ok with nearby benches. Fun and perfect for a small meal.

The teokbokii is over hyped. The sauce was good, but the rice noodle to hot dog and cheese ratio was like 1:4:10 when it should have been more balanced.

I liked the different food options for a theme park, but be aware there are only about 3 tables near the pickup counter and the food wasn’t the best for eating on the go.

I ordered the kimchi bao based on the employee’s recommendation, and the kimchi slaw was really good, but the honey tossed chicken was definitely too sweet for me. The staff were friendly, and the wait was five to ten minutes.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised! This was very fast service and actually not too busy. We wanted the soup dumplings at first but I guess they were out; came back out of Berk and got the bao buns. The filling is yummy- and the sauce is good. Great grab n go snack option at the Park; definitely recommend picking up and eating while you wait in line for a ride or show.

Yelp
I should have tried the bao buns. I was super excited to try the tteokbokki skewer and was sadly super disappointed. We took one bite out of it and the whole thing fell apart. It also wasn't very hot. So between everything crumbling off the stick and the lukewarm temperature, this one was a no for me. It was quick though and the employee was friendly.

Yelp
Got the bao bun and fried cheese wrapped rice cake. The food was hot and fresh and the dipping sauce had a spicy kick to it. Ordering was easy and there was a handful of covered tables outside of the stall to sit and relax.

Yelp
These are very, very good. They prepared them very quickly and the bread is soft and the filling is savory... just right. Great place to grab a quick snack while in the park and not your typical fast food. I would say preparation is excellent.
