Starbird Chicken

I've been to many chicken restaurants, some call me the connoisseur, and this restaurant and location is by far the best, bar none. I'd go out of my way to eat here and I mean that. I don't normally review places, but this one deserves it. The staff here are the most friendly and polite staff I have ever encountered they will literally go above and beyond for you the customer; they're very well mannered and always say thank you and you're welcome and sorry if anything goes wrong, it's a gold standard in customer service for that matter. Last time I went my 87 year old mother engaged in a real heartwarming interaction with this red haired employee about the dessert selection, she couldn't decide which one to get but after speaking with him she decided she wanted to try them all! and despite her being hard of hearing he managed to talk to her in the perfect volume all calm and understanding while still audible enough for her 87 year old ears, she left the store smiling harder than she was at my daughter Sabrina's 8th grade graduation! then the food is immaculate it's like with all the picky eating habits in my family and how complicated my orders can get they still manage to make it all right and hit the mark each time with just the right amount of each ingredient, leaving it as one of the few restaurants where the food looks better than on the menu! and I love the gardenbird sandwich. Man, I love the gardenbird sandwich. Also it really cool to see all the cultural menu options taking flavor inspiration from mexican, Thai, Greek, Italian, Japanese, etc etc cuisine then for the drinks they were wow they have so many drinks all so yummy and good drinks holy smokes. and when I pointed out that I paid for two drinks one of the cashiers comes over and checks my receipt and says sir you are right that's my mistake and gives me my other drink! Man I love the gardenbird sandwich. Then soon after another cashier came and she actually gave me the warmest friendliest smile I've ever seen at a fast food joint. They act like they are doing a favor for a friend when I don't even need a favor I just need more of this star (haha get it?) customer service. and more gardenbird sandwich. like if they’re giving me the food I will eat the food. this location has always been great, whenever I go it's thriving and I can see why, who wouldn't want to eat somewhere that treats them like literal family. (though there was this one gal one time who was really giving the employees a hard time which did disturb the ambiance, but she left eventually) I believe the managers of other inferior chicken restaurants should all come here and see what a real chicken restaurant, with real customer service looks like. Wish they had milkshakes tho. But I see why they don't, it's star-bird not star-mammal after all, bird don't make milk! (Makes me wonder where the ice cream sandwiches come from though... *Shudders*) P.S. love this place's slogan, positively delicious chicken? Haha that's clever 🤣😂😂

Tried a different location of this chain before but did try they're newest items today. Upgrading a side to the brussel sprouts are well worth it. As far as fast food goes it was pretty nice. The chicken was very samey but it's not bad. Worth a try for sure at their prices.

I ordered Thai salad through Door Dash. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered it with no problem. Today it arrived with salad lid off, salad spilling out and most of dressing spilled out in bag. Not sure who was at fault, but is suspect restaurant did not put lids on properly. Very disappointing.

Generally good food in a nice spot at the Pruneyard but their new Chicken Parm sandwich 100% for NOT match their advertised picture of it. A total mess that's difficult to eat and it has an odd sweetness to it that's not very pleasant or fitting. I like the place. I like the salads here. I completely regret ordering a sandwich.

I don’t understand the hype. The chicken was very oily and massively over-salted. They were at least tender. The Nashville spice blend is just a dry shaker that they dump over the chicken, and it was neither hot nor flavorful. The overwhelming flavors were that of salt, oil, and pickle juice. How do people with functional tastebuds enjoy this? Four tenders with truffle fries, a fountain drink, and tip is roughly $25. The fries were limp, undercooked, and again very oily. The truffle flavor was there, but tasted pretty artificial. It smells like fryer oil inside and makes your skin feel gross just walking inside. The actual tables are decently clean, no shade on the staff or service here. At least you can sit outside on the uncomfortable metal bistro chairs that most fast food places use these days. The drinks were decent, and I appreciate the unsweetened ice tea plus POG and lemonade that you can mix to your desired sweetness. The other fountain sodas looked interesting as well, being made with cane sugar and some lower-sweetness offerings there as well. I’m happy to see that instead of the typical corn syrup garbage from the two big brands that have been poisoning the world for decades. I haven’t really eaten fast food in many years but I felt pretty gross after eating this. Just go to a regular restaurant or Mendocino Farms around the corner and get something healthier instead.

I planned a late lunch with a friend in Campbell, so we decided to try Starbird in the Pruneyard shopping center. Now I understand why so many people like this place! I ordered the classic Starbird crispy chicken sandwich and my buddy had the mango cashew crunch salad. Both of our meals were better than we expected. My chicken was especially crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside, and not the least bit greasy. Ditto for the chicken bites in my friend’s salad. It had a nice combination of ingredients, including roasted cashews, and was simply dressed with a tasty sweet chili vinaigrette. The diced mango was juicy and the greens underneath didn’t get limp. Portions were large but not gargantuan and everything was fairly priced. I would have given a higher rating but I have a minor gripe about the service. We ordered at the cashier instead of the kiosk because we had a couple of simple requests: 1) an empty plate so we could share our meals, 2) super slaw on the side of my sandwich instead of on top, and 3) my sandwich cut in half. It wasn’t the least bit busy, so the kitchen staff had plenty of time to actually read the instructions on our order. Unfortunately none of our requests were honored. I’ll go back to Starbird to try other menu items, but I won’t expect anything other than typical fast food service. BTW... I don't understand why someone called this place Starbird Salads. It's not a salad restaurant!

Is there a way to give less than 1 star? Food was absolutely disgusting! We got the garden bird tenders, the texture was so bad I couldn’t even swallow it. I don’t think it was even cooked all the way. 4 tenders, one order of fries and a drink…..27.00 bucks! Threw it right in the trash! Never again. Ever, I’d rather starve to death! I can’t even think about it w out gagging.

I would avoid this location if possible because the staff here are thee most disrespectful staff I have ever encountered they will literally argue with you the customer they don’t have or know the word sorry or customer service for that matter. Last time I went my wife got into a shouting match with this red haired employee about some sauces even tho she said she can pay for them he still decided to raise his voice and be like you just said you didn’t pay for them then the food is ridiculous it’s like I told them to not add anything I asked and paid for extra chicken on all my salads and got 1 salad with 3 pieces of chicken and just lettuce nothing else on the salad that’s how all my salads where and I love the chicken Cobb salad then for the drinks they where only giving me small cups and when I pointed out that I paid for large drinks the cashier comes goes through and touches all my food just to tell me they don’t have the right sized cups but when another coworker came she actually gave me the right cups. They act like they are doing me a favor like if they’re giving me the food this location used to be great but now when I go it’s empty and I can see why no one would ever want to eat somewhere that treats them like literal crap the managers should all take a field trip to in and out or chick fil a so they can see what actual customer service is like.

Once again came here for their teacher appreciation promotion. Starbird 2.0 (4/5): Nothing too special about the sandwich, but the avocado was my favorite addition Pineapple Lemonade (5/5): Definitely one of the best drinks I've ever had. I would count back for that drink.

Service here is beyond poor! I went with my daughter and stood at the register for ( not even exaggerating) 10 min. At first I told myself hey they're busy , so I get it. Then i grew impatient at the lack of zero acknowledgment. The I became intrigued to see just how long it would take for any or someone to take initiative. The kiosks weren't working as they both said to see "another kiosk" . I would be understanding to if I it was visibly understaffed, but they weren't. The girls were so busy flirting with the super tall guy. They're all super young which I don't expect them to go above and beyond but common courtesy to do your job is minimal. I ended up ordering through my phone which was ridiculous to do .

Quick service, friendly, and she even hooked me up with an extra french fries, without telling me. Can you tell I really enjoyed my meal at Starbird Chicken, lol. 10/10 overall

I always get the tender box here and it is quite good, especially for being gluten free. The Nashville hot flavor that I usually get can be a little inconsistent, as sometimes it is not as hot as I expected from previous times. The chicken is nicely crispy and juicy, though. I also really like the sauces here, especially the Korean Seoul spicy sauce and the truffle aioli. I believe that the classic star sauce and the bbq sauce are also quite good, and I am looking forward to trying the honey mustard. The fries are not particularly noteworthy but are still pretty good. I also get all fries instead of half fries half coleslaw because the coleslaw is not that good. I always order at the kiosk, and usually there is an open table free for dining in, though it gets crowded sometimes.

We always order through the kiosk. The salads are a good size and are tasty. I decided to try the spicy Nashville chicken in the salad and surprisingly it was spicer than their spicy chicken sandwich. It's usually busy even though we go during the week. But plenty is sitting inside and outside. The lemonades are yummy!

I decided to try out Starbird for lunch, last week, since it was so close to my Dr. office appointment. They have a very small parking lot but luckily we arrived early enough to get a spot. When we walked it I noticed a lot of employees behind the counter putting together orders. You place your order at the kiosk instead of at the counter. The kiosk was very easy to use and you are still able to customize your order to your liking. I tried the big star and the Nashville hot fries without the hot chili oil. My husband tried Seoul Star. There is a flat screen where you can see if your order is ready to pick up and they also text you when your food is ready, which is nice. We also got 2 drinks. I was disappointed they didn't have an iced tea with no sugar. All the drinks were sugary. It took about 10 minutes for our food to be ready and we grabbed our tray from the front counter and sat inside. There is also plenty of outdoor seating, but it was raining, so we opted to sit inside. The tables and chairs were wobbly which was very annoying when trying to eat. Both our chicken sandwiches were very good. The fries on the other had were overdone to the point that they were burnt. It was like cement. I should have had them remake it but it was hard to get anyone's attention for help. I will not order the fries again but I will return for the chicken sandwiches. Those were definitely the starts here.

Crispy fried chicken chain. Nuggets and chicken tenders or wings all crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The outside batter can use more flavor. But still really good quality chicken. Salads are fresh and they don't skim on the sauces. Service is typical and decent. I do wish that the lobby was more regularly cleaned. But otherwise can't complain.

Came here for lunch around 2:30 PM. Not many people were there at that time. We order salad with crispy chicken. Pretty good salad. The place was clean. Lots of parking in the lot across the street from the restaurant.

Probably the worded chicken I've ever order. Not only was it dry, off collared and dumped in dry seasoning. After one bite I knew something was off. 10/10 would not ever buy it, especially for the price.

Just tried the new Banh Mi Salad & I was really impressed! Lots of flavor in the dressing, not too spicy despite the jalapeños, with just the right balance of sweet, salty & briny from the pickled vegetables. Loved the crunchy Asian noodles & the crispy chicken on top. It's a very generous portion too! Would definitely order again!

Yum!!! I have gotten takeout from here several times throughout college and decided to give it a try many years later post-grad. In the past, I got the nuggets - which were decent! But this time around, I got the Thai Chicken Salad and it was a GAME CHANGER! My new favorite item on the menu. This is perfect for a lunchtime pick-me-up. The salad is refreshing and the vegetables are good quality. Everything balances out the crispy sweet chicken chicken! I'll definitely consider eating here more often. For $15 a salad, the portions are great too!

The service is ok. For some reason the cashiers and all of them seem like they've never received proper training and are often slow or can't grasp what I'm ordering. The kitchen staff are terribly slow and often get orders wrong. The portions of their sauces are so little it's ridiculous! About 87% of the staff members that I've seen all have a little attitude with them that stinks up the whole place. The tenders are often dry with no flavor and same goes with the French fries. There's nothing exciting here but come try it maybe you'd like it yourself. I personally wouldn't recommend this place.

If you had to order just 1 thing here, I'd say go for the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich! Spicy and a little tangy. Simply awesome! A bit pricey considering it's technically fast food - $11 and an additional $5 to make it a meal. But still Nashville hot chicken is worth it. The Chicken chopped salad is fresh, crunchy and big portion size. Garlic Parmesan chicken wings were deep fried with lots of garlic and Parmesan cheese but kind of ok. Nothing much to talk about other options. I'd still go back for the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich!

I enjoy starbird every once in a while. I have had it doordashed a few times and sometimes for order pick up. I am not a fan of chicken so I get the plant-based protein. I like the banh-mi salad especially, which has the cut up fake chicken, but i'm not a fan of the plant-based tender

First time trying Starbird Chicken and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it yet. I ordered the new orange chicken salad because it sounds good, but the sauce was overwhelming. They need to either calm down on the sugar or the amount of sauce they drench the salad with because it was way too sweet. I couldn't even eat the mandarin oranges because of how saucy and soggy my salad was. It might have been soggy from the mandarin orange syrup, who knows. I was extremely disappointed because I know this salad could be prepared better. Same with the Thai chicken salad. I got it with grilled chicken, and while the flavors were good, it was soggy from the vinaigrette.

The service is good. I ordered their chicken tenders with fries and the fries were good. However, their chicken tenders are oily and was not as an enjoyable. They do have a variety of sauces you can choose from. I would probably try something else on the menu, but i was not a big fan.

You get text messages telling you that your order is ready but when you get there the order is indeed NOT ready Bad customer service

Second time here and it was great! Carmen the cashier was such a sweetheart! Professional and friendly ! Her smile lit up my day after a long crappy day at work! Thank you Carmen and the entire staff working tonight for taking care of us! Great customer service, friendly atmosphere and can't forget the great food!!!

I love this place! Very convenient location, strategically nestled inside the Pruneyard Campbell Plaza where everywhere is walking distance. I've been to this place more than three times, and I can confidently say their customer service, and their quality of food have been the same and in some cases even taste better. I always go for their salads. My favorite ones are either the Thai Chicken Salad or the Orange Chicken Salad. They don't skimp on the lettuce and the chicken! Their chicken always TASTE so fresh! It is different if you use fresh, not frozen chicken, you can tell right away. I don't think their chicken is dry, as some people might have mentioned on the previous reviews, they give enough sauce to go with salad or the sandwich, so I always feel their chicken is perfectly sauced. Another menu that I always reorder is their wings! My two favorite flavors are garlic parmesan and lemon pepper! Those two can't go wrong, and you can eat it anytime and any day. I also love their drinks selection! My kids can go crazy with their awesome and healthier option soda from Starbird. My favorite is the root beer one (they rename with something else but it taste just exactly like root beer). They also have the sugarcane one! So fresh and refreshing! This will be our go to place whenever we are craving for good salads or chicken wings!

First time coming to this location as I've had Starbird before at the Niner Stadium. I really enjoyed it. The place is a small spot and parking is kind of crowded, but my friend and I came in a Sunday and it was very busy. I ordered the Starbird 2.0 sandwich with fries and a drink. It was quite good and was out in under ten minutes. I liked the slaw on it and would highly recommend this one. The fries were really fresh too. Overall, solid with my only gripe is that the food is a bit pricy, but in 2023 at this point it's expected.

I was recently contacted by Starbird management. They offered me credits toward my next meal, so I appreciated they they compensated me (somewhat), rather than nothing at all. Green Goddess Cobb is my go to.

The salad was plentiful and perfect. The craft soda was... mediocre, and over-priced. The lime salad dressing was quite delightful.

My wife and I tried Starbird for the first time a few days ago. The location is convenient for going to the movie theater next door. It was relatively quick to receive our order once it was placed, so it is good for before a movie. The decor is basic fast-food style, which is sufficient for a quick bite. However, the ordering kiosk was not intuitive. It would have been so much easier to place our orders with a real person instead of struggling with a poor user interface on the kiosk. In particular, when ordering ther Thai chicken, there was a required choice that needed to be made (essentially saying that "no, I don't want a larger portion"). I didn't select that, (but I didn't select the larger portion option). It just wouldn't take the order, but it didn't tell me what the problem was. Also I didn't see anything to give special instructions. Hopefully they will improve it to make it easier. A staff person told us afterwards that orders can be placed with an actual person without using the kiosk. The food was tasty. My wife had the Starbird 2.0 sandwich ($10.97). She enjoyed the combination of the chicken and the slaw in the sandwich. I had the Sweet Thai Tender Box ($13.47). The fried chicken pieces were covered in a delicious sauce. It comes with two sides; I chose the slaw as both of my sides. Following my wife's advice from her sandwich, I ate the sweet Thai chicken with slaw in every bite; that is a great combination.

Got the Nashville Hotbird sandwich because I usually choose what ever is spicy. You order through the kiosk and pick it up at the counter when you receive a text that your order is ready. The sandwich is very juicy and tender. The sauce was leaking from the bottom of the wrapper before I took a bite, so prepare to have lots of napkins. It's wrapped in the style of an In & Out burger, which most of the sandwich sticking out for better biting. It's not as spicy as I hoped, it's more of a peppery taste. The interior is bright and yellow. Lots of seating area. Bathrooms are clean.

I posted a review yesterday and it was live. It has now disappeared-not sure how this happened. I am posting it again. This is touted as healthy fried chicken. Maybe. Probably not. I ordered thru Uber Eats. Chicken fingers and the Starbird sandwich. I was really looking forward to trying this place. I was thoroughly disappointed. Here are my reasons for the 1 star rating. I had a bite of the chicken finger. Saying it was over salted would be an understatement. It had at least 20 times the acceptable level of normal salt. The breading was at least 5 times what is needed, probably done to make the chicken fingers look big. It was over fried rendering the edges tough and dry. The fingers are supposed to come with one sauce . I chose blazing ranch. For 8 fingers I got 2 tiny cups of the sauce (probably no more than 2 teaspoons in each). The cup is so small that it is almost impossible to dip the finger in it. And at 3 bucks per finger, surely more sauce can be provided? The sandwich might have been good. Unfortunately it depended on the same chicken finger which ruined it. The only saving grace was the lettuce. The pickles were evenly spread throughout the sandwich but the 3 tiny tomato slices were stacked on top of each other. Surely the lazy kitchen staff can be trained to spread the tomato slices evenly across the sandwich? It was also soggy on account of excessive Star sauce. I ate the sandwich without the finger. I did examine some of the fingers prior to tossing them out. The chicken seems to be quality chicken breast. I have eaten chicken fingers in various places. And these were the worst. The fact that my original review mysteriously disappeared just proves my point!

I read an article in the paper about Starbird chicken and how great it is. Since I love fried chicken, I had to try it. My husband and I went there on a date night and we were greeted by Michael and he was very friendly and welcoming. It is a nice and clean restaurant and, oh my goodness, the food is wonderful! I ordered the new chicken 2.0 sandwich and my husband ordered the big star. Both sandwiches were so good! Although it's fried, it doesn't taste greasy and the inside is moist. I ordered the slaw, and it was so good! Very flavorful and like no other I have tasted. My husband had french fries and they were very good. The drink selection is amazing. They have a variety of drinks that usually don't see at the soda fountain. On the wall, they show how they support their employees with education incentives and assistance in other areas. The employees are very happy and they are very nice. We will definitely add this to our date night list!

The food girl??? The food?? Omg the food is so good ugh. The salads are immaculate. You can't go wrong with their chicken chop salad, it's my go to fr. And it is so filling ‼‼ everything from there is filling. Basically, you get good tasting good quality food, for a good price and in a short amount of time. And I mean a short amount of time, I typically order a salad and tenders for me and a friend and it takes maybe 7ish minutes for the order to be ready. This place is easily my favorite chain. Also if u get the salad I recommend taking the chicken out then putting in the sauce and shaking the bowl. Then you have more room when shaking the bowl for the sauce to get all over the salad and if you can't finish it all then your chicken won't be as soggy. 10/10 highly recommend

No longer have my favorite salad - the chicken katsu. I am so disappointed. That one was my favorite. I ordered the green goddess cob and it was not good. Please bring back the chicken katsu! It was so good!

The salads are the best way to go here IMO. They have always been spot on. I tried a Nashville Hot taco which isn't hot but it is tasty. The tacos equate to a half a chicken sandwich in a taco shell instead of on a bun. Chicken strip, lettuce, ranch, pickles in a shell. Looking forward to trying the wings.

I was craving a crispy chicken salad & decided to try the Thai flavor. I wasn't big on the sweet brown dressing, it tasted really overpowering and was a little sickening towards the end. But of course I feel like that's my personal preference, not the restaurant's fault. I will say that they LOADED the salad with chicken so I was pretty happy about that. It's a huge portion too, very filling. I'd probably come back to try the other salads they have.

Service was quick and the order was all correct! I love the variety of choices and even the drinks are good!

This branch is ghetto and dirty. There was grease and food all over the floor. I literally almost slipped. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and did not know how to operate a business. Never going back.

You really can't go wrong with a bomb fried chicken sandwich. I feel like I've heard so many good things about Starbird, and I'd say it lived up to the hype! The interior is cute and thematic, and the ordering process is really seamless. They have a few screens to order and pay on, and then the orders are presented in a pick up area with the names of orders ready on another screen. We ordered the Starbird, which comes with avocado and a slaw, and we got it on Dutch Crunch, which is probably the best kind of bread ever. They initially got our order wrong, and I think they gave us the Big Star instead. They quickly acknowledge the mistake and made us an order of the Starbird. I took a bite of the first Big Star we received and ate a good chunk of the Starbird, and both were really good. The chicken was juicy and crunchy, but the Starbird was far superior. I'm a big advocate for avocados in every sandwich, so it made a difference in the overall composition and texture of the sandwich, and the slaw was very refreshing and flavorful. The one complaint I have is that the bread was bigger than the sandwich. I feel like an ideal chicken sandwich has more chicken than bread, but at least the chicken here is good quality!

Great fast food alternative. Delicious chicken either fried or grilled. The banh mi salad is awesome. Nice drink selection on the fountains. Counter service. Easy to get to in the Pruneyard.

Nashville hot tenders and regular tenders were great. They forgot the drink and the wings were a miss. They don't cook the wings with the seasoning which is strange. To be fair the seasoning tasted good but the boneless wings were really hard. I may go back for the tenders. Fries were cold and I live close. Only order the tenders. I can't speak for the sandwich. I wish we skipped the wings and fries.

Excellent fried chicken. Crispy, juicy and flavorful. Highly recommend this place, it's hard to be disappointed here. You can enjoy fried chicken here in so many different ways-- tenders, wings, burgers, tacos, and salads. I also want to add that the chicken to salad ratio is excellent. They don't skimp out on the chicken. They have many unique offerings that you don't normally see at a fried chicken place. Have you heard of california roll tacos?or chicken katsu salad? They have them here! They have an app which you can use to order ahead of time. This place is quite busy, because of it's yummy offerings. They also have a rewards program! Parking can be difficult to find here due to the place being inside Pruneyard Shopping Center. I've always had to park a bit further and walk.

Yum, yum, YUM! I had their tacos and they were extraordinary. They reminded me of Torchy's in Austin, Texas (trailer trash to be specific). Fresh, crispy, and their ordering system allows you to customize easily. Want to add or subtract an ingredient? Do so with ease and clearly understanding the cost. Flavors are on point and the value too. Restaurant is always clean and service is exceptionally friendly. Can't say enough good things for this spot! PS: their salads are great too!

Went today around 2 and ordered the vegetarian strips and the regular strips for my husband. The meals came fast and with a lot of fries. The best thing about our food was the sauces. The honey mustard and sriracha sauce were delicious with fries. The vegetarian strips were disgusting. Ate two bites and no more. My husband ate one strip and we were done. We threw them away and went to eat somewhere else. The one girl who helped us get a clean table was super friendly. Won't be back.

I rated another location with one star. I'm not entirely impressed with Starbirds offering even still. Today I had their wings which were kind of on the small side. The garlic parmesan flavor I avoid because it was really devoid of that nice garlic Parm flavor you expect. The sweet Thai chili was nice but it was only sweet without any semblance of heat. Chicken was cooked better than before and came across as average. Hence my current 3 star rating. I have zero clue as to why this place is so popular given the quality. It's like going to Pacific catch for seafood.

Look I love Starbird. The Tacos, the salads, the sandwiches are consistently awesome. The rotating lemonade is always good and I have always had an excellent experience. We have been to this location a few times but I have never gotten down to writing a review. Szechuan Hotbird Taco: Crispy chicken which to be fair is not all that hot paired with a spicy aioli and a ginger Pique sauce. Cabbage adds a crunch and tiny sliced pickles adds more crunch and nice vinegary hit to cut the richness. Service was fast and friendly as always. Plenty of parking and a nice outdoor eating area adjacent.

The food here was tasty and the fountain drinks definitely hit the spot after a nice day outside! There are a variety of sauces, which were all tasty. The bread was a little different but I can see that the sandwiches are based off of subs. The $2 Nashville Tenders are scorching hot and delicious! I'll definitely be back again sometime! My only advice is that the touch screens at the front need updated UI or software to speed up the process.

Food was really simple to the point! Nice service, I didn't know what sause to get, and they gave me all of them, lol. Very clean, nice ambiance!

This was my first visit to Starbird. Sadly, it was disappointing. First, when I picked up my order, the two ladies working there were just chatting away. I just stood at the counter waiting for them to help me. Secondly, the Banh Mi chicken was overcooked. Half of the chicken was hard and rubbery, like it was over cooked in the microwave.

Heck yes 5 stars!!!! +2 Been seeing people at church bring Starbird Chicken to our fellowship Sunday so this Wednesday an opportunity came up to go. The restaurant was nice and clean, employee at the register was polite and got our orders correctly. looking at the menu I decided on the Chicken Cobb salad, it came in what's best described as a bowl big enough for a dinosaur "seriously huge" with lots of tasty succulent fried chicken on top "not greasy" I ordered a drink as well, strawberry hibiscus iced tea "soooo good" Bottom line: good service, good prices, and darn good food. 3 "Yums up"

We came in at the beginning of Saturday lunch rush. We had a bunch of questions, re: Gluten free items, I'd ordered ahead and wasn't sure if I'd done so correctly. Julio was happy to help, and answered all of our q's with certainty and a smile. We really appreciate his kindness in the middle of lunch rush. The food here is great, gluten free chicken is delish, and we were in and out without a wait.

Ordered for the first time and all our chicken dishes had a very bad and noticeably distinct fishy taste as if they use fish oil for their frying. As we are super sensitive to fishy smells this was totally unacceptable. Super disappointed as we didn't eat most our food. Really wanted to like this place. Over $50 for 3 dishes .. also Fries were relatively cold and not crisp.... Sigh...

Food was amazingly delicious. I ordered for my team in Campbell and the chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The fries were also good, the sauces I tried were also full of flavor. The Greek yogurt ranch was perfect with my Cajun seasoned strips! You have to try the pomegranate tea, that was just as good. It was a bit confusing for me as a first timer at the prune yard but it's next to subway and the only downside is trying to find parking to pick up. Other then that, amazing chicken!
