I had recently ordered in-store from the Niagara Falls Blvd Amherst Starbucks location on 3/22/19 at approx. 8:30 a.m. I ordered 3 Caramel Macchiato drinks - two size grande, one venti.
I checked out for my order and proceeded to wait a preposterous amount of time, as many came and went that placed orders after me. One girl in particular was offered a free pastry to compensate for her wait time. At about 9:00 a.m. I was one of two customers left waiting, and was asked what I was "waiting for" by a male employee. I told him what I had ordered, and he responded that they must have "lost" my order.
The employee proceeded to make the 3 drinks I ordered very quickly, and although he did apologize for my experience, he did not offer me anything additional. Again, I note that a girl had come and go after me and had a long wait, and was offered a free pastry. I was offered nothing - no free pastry, no giftcard to reimburse me, nothing.
To make matters even worse, when I got back to my office, I and the two friends I had purchased the other drinks for, noticed that they were made wrong. There was zero sweetener/syrup or whatever is put in there. The drinks tasted absolutely horrific and they were not consumed. I had wasted too much time at this point to go back to have them re-made.
This is the first review I have ever written, and I do so because the experience was that horrific that I felt it was completely necessary. The complete lack of customer service and the consistency in customer service, is 100% unacceptable. I am truly flabbergasted that the situation unfolded this way and remains unamended for.
Needless to say, your company has lost a loyal customer and I will be forwarding this review on all platforms available.
