I've been a regular customer at this Starbucks, getting a coffee latte almost every day. Today, I was meeting someone and asked for a cup of water while I waited. I was told they wouldn't give me water unless I placed an order first — which I found very odd and unwelcoming. I explained I was waiting for someone and would order once they arrived. But after that experience, I canceled the meeting. Once I use up the remaining balance in my app, I’ll be deleting it and saying goodbye to Starbucks. I hope they train their staff to be more polite. Also, the quality of the coffee here keeps getting worse day by day.

Smelled like a literal zoo inside. I almost left my coffee (which i should have considering 1/4 was missing) due to the smell and long wait. I dont know how people can work there with that horrible stench in the air!

The drive thru employees here are so friendly and the service is speedy! Sadly the new Horchata drink was pretty awful even though it was hyped up online. I do not recommend it.

Every Starbucks I’ve been through I can get a free tapwater. That’s the only Starbucks would not provide you a free tapwater. They require me to buy something in order for me to get the free water but thank you. We are a neighbors and we will never do business with you. Shame on you

One of the older Starbucks in Ashburn. Seen better days. Ashburn Crossroads. Seeking to hire like many places. Ordered London Fog Latte and the questions I was getting told me the server had no clue this was a tea. Sure enough when it was delivered as a coffee I had to explain the mistake. 2 staff (friendly) having fun chatting which is super nut please pay attention to the order.

One week ago at 0830, I was going thru drive up. Simply asked to put my items in a bag and was refused. The manager stated that is a policy with Starbucks not to provide any bags. Very rude. I go to other Starbucks in Ashburn and they gladly provide a bag. I need as I bring drinks to my nurses and staff. It was just a simple bag, not anything extravagant. The worse experience with Starbucks ever. This is a terrible way to treat customers and especially a veteran

Well normally Starbucks is pretty efficient and nice. Good all around customer service. Today though, it was a little different and it was 100% staff related. Their easy going conversation and service with witty conversation. Was just what I needed today. Hats off to this location. I wish I knew the names of the duo that handled my order today. Definitely enjoy a mocha frappe. This drink soothes what's left of my mind occasionally. We all need a break. That works as my "chill zone." Here I've stopped several times. They do have a drive through, but I prefer going inside. Christmas Blend coffee is delicious, others are so so. Really nice staff here. All are good people. This location due to the area is popular. I personally prefer more laid back. Still this is clean and comfortable. If you're in the area it works, and service is solid.

Asked for a brown sugar shaken espresso to be remade because it didn't taste normal. There were insane amounts of syrup and it was practically inedible. The barista was extremely hesitant and rude when asked to remake the drink and what I got back tastes like hazelnut not brown sugar so it was remade WRONG yet again. I am pretty frustrated. Wouldn't recommend this location if you want a good coffee or good customer service

I am usually a huge fan of Starbucks and I come here at least 3 times a week. However, every time I go I pray to God that I don't see the rudest man I've ever come across. I wish I could remember his name but he has an olive skin tone with grey hair. He is always hovering around the employees so I'm assuming he's a manager which disappoints me heavily. Every time he is not there I can say my experience has been nothing but amazing. However, on some mornings when he is working, I feel rushed and hated. His tone of voice at 9am on a Wednesday is so ridiculous. I would understand if this is a one time thing but no, this happens quite frequently. I've never had a bad interaction with any Starbucks employee except for this man and talking around with my friends I'm gathering a similar consensus. He acts like me ordering a drink from his JOB where he chooses to work is a huge inconvenience to him.

This location is off and on, sometimes off more than on. I forgot the young lady name but when she works the drive thru things are good with quality and orders are accurate, when she's not there the inconsistencies are down to happen. Just got a matcha latte with a shot of espresso through mobile order, taste no espresso whatsoever, last week I got the maple chicken breakfast sandwich which was extremely bland.

I have traveled across the country to be greeted with a unique but unsatisfactory experience. I went through the drive thru this morning approximately 6:15 one car in line ahead of me and no one behind me. Ordered a breakfast sandwich. As I got to the window I asked to add a latte on my order. The young lady working drive. Responded as if I cancelled and drove off. She stated next time you do this I will have to make you return through the drive thru. I was having a great morning and stated you may cancel my order if I'm an inconvenience. She said next time. If I hadn't rendered payment I would have left. However, noted I will not return and will continue to share the poor service I received to my traveling counterparts.

I was very dissatisfied with my experience here. First your mobile order said it would be ready at 6:55, I get there at 7:00 and it's not ready. When we got up to the window the gave us our drink. I got two drinks but he gave us one straw I tried to ask for on but before I could he slammed the door and walked away while giving me a side eye. VERY DISAPPOINTED VERY.

I had to come back and sprinkle a little love via review for this location after my experience today. Drastic change from my last visit, considering they have moved to a bigger space and now have a drive thru!!! The barista working the drive thru was not only taken orders but also making them as you approached the window, so I had nothing but respect for him when I pulled up and saw him hustling to get the orders out in a timely fashion. Just watching him work motivated me to come and update this review and give the location the extra star he earned. Line moves quickly considering but the short distance between the order board and the window makes it look longer than it actually is.

Hey Starbucks, your employees at this location are totally miserable. Tomorrow is someone's day off and he can't wait to get "sooo drunk!" I feel bad- it's hard time to work, BUT that shouldn't excuse poor professionalism. This kind of thoughtless behavior is just perpetuating poor work ethic. It's the business of misery!

When you order through the app, a message displays saying you can pick up your order inside at the counter, but you can't. When you get there, the doors are locked and a sign says you must pick up your order at the drive-through window. It took half an hour today for me to pick up my mobile order, so I was late for my son practice , which put me behind schedule for the rest of the day. By the time I realized the 2 cars in front of me were each placing huge orders, other cars had pulled behind me, and I was stuck in the line.The app should be customizable enough to display the correct message so customers have the option to go to a different Starbucks --or just skip it.

The patio is terrible now because Starbucks is blasting it's slow normal café music while the new Bungalow Alehouse across the lawn is blasting their high tempo party bar music and it's all happening at once. It's like a mashup no one asked for, and it's ruining my chill patio hangs. I say we hoist up the cannons and fire upon their vessel... I mean... if we were pirates, obviously. Yarrrrrbucks! Ok, that's it from me. Avast and such. Yo-ho!

I used to visit this location when it was in the same area as potbelly. Now, it has a drive through and so much more room! I was glad I was able to come in to this location and get some work done. It seems to be a social hangout at the tabletop. Everyone knew everyone and it was kind of cute, but I just needed to get some work done without distractions, and I was able to do that. I do however miss the staff from the previous location. They were so much fun

Newly remolded. I love Starbucks, but have limited my visits to this particular location because of the service. They aren't rude - per se - but they certainly aren't welcoming. Very cold and off putting. "Thank you" goes a long way, but I rarely hear it here.

An avid customer of Starbucks because their products are consistent no matter what location I visit, except for today,l. Vacationing in Reno NV at the Silver Legacy and came to my favorite coffee spot. Ordered a sausage/bacon wrap and it was horrible, bread on the end was hard, I may have seen 1 or 2 pieces of bacon/sausage combined in my sandwich, no cheese and it was very bland. My mocha cappuccino was awesome like it always is. When I let the cashier know she said, I'm sorry you didn't like it. Disappointed it's not up to the standard Starbucks I'm used to. Some would say what's the big deal? .but is was for me.

I don't know what's up with this Starbucks? It is hands down, the worst Starbucks in Ashburn. My drink is consistently done wrong. I've driven away at least 3 times wondering what am I actually drinking?? There are ALWAYS coffee grounds at the bottom of my iced latte. Why? I have a theory they are using coffee instead of espresso. I don't feel the caffeine rush either, which is the main reason I go! Anyway, skip this store and go to a different location.

Good Starbucks. It is a hit or miss (as with any Starbucks). The place needs some Senior Starbuck veterans who greet the customers when they come in and may know some of the "regular" customers' orders. Unfortunately, the past two times I have come in (1) early morning on a Saturday with 1-2 customers in the place, the person making the drinks was new and got my order wrong (2 times). I would hate to see her if the place was busy; (2) came right before closing (night). It was 15 minutes to closing and the employees made it difficult to get a coffee as they were cleaning up and looks like they wanted to close the place. Other visits were routine and I got my drink pretty quick (no do overs) and once in a while i was able to sit in the shop and enjoy my drink. The place is easy access (right off the main road). It doesn't have a drive through but there is enough "up front" parking near the shop to get in and get out.

The service at 6am was very relaxed and I actually preferred it over the hustle and bustle of the the 8am crowd. Drinks were made and enjoyed. There wasn't anything REALLY different from my experience today other than the soft putter patter if employees feet's as they craft beverages. The strum of country songs played in the background. The environment allowed me to fully relax- warm lighting, soft music, the smell of coffee washing over.. I felt safe. I would come to this location again.. if not for the drinks, for the smiling and sleepy faces that greet me when I stroll in.

Rhian/Rhiam was so sweet and endearing this morning! I felt bad they were working on Labor Day, but he assured me he was happy to! They were out of pumpkin spice so he recommended the apple crisp oat milk macchiato which was amazing! Literally the flavors of fall in a cup. He was so kind and a breath of fresh air in this crazy world. He made a personal connection with every guest and THAT is what makes him so amazing. Thank you for a wonderful morning, R! We have always loved Starbucks' coffee but this specific location is above and beyond. We're going through some allergin-related changes and wanted to try a nitro cold-brew without dairy and were discussing this with the barista. He provided multiple recommendations and even comped our drink for free just in case we didn't like it. He wanted to be sure that we weren't pressured to find something we might not like and I thought that was a really cool thing to do. Sometimes you might be having a crappy day and someone does something small like this for you and it goes a long way. Thanks for that!

This is the most dysfunctional Starbucks. They don't operate normal hours and they are inconsistent in their abnormal hours, even. Sometimes the drive through is open, or maybe not, sometimes they are open inside, or maybe not, or vice versa - unreliable, inconsistent and dysfunctional. And to top it off, the inside dining area is not clean. In fact it is downright nasty.

I'm going to get totally hated on by the yelping public of DC, but I've gotta say... this Starbucks has it goin' on. Awesome lounge-y space that looks like the furniture came from somewhere excessively pricey and swanky like BoConcept, friendly and fast service, and here's the best part: they were open at 0500 hours, so they were all ready for business when we rolled in, fresh off an emergency run at 0530. Hallelujah! I wanted nothing more than a jolt of caffeine to get me through the morning, operating on maybe two hours of sleep from a busy night at the fire station, and these chill chicks totally hooked us up. I only got my typical grande soy misto, but my paramedic ordered up a venti red-eye. Heck. I think we should have hooked -him- up to the heart monitor just to watch how spastic his system was after downing one of those! Dear Starbucks, Much love for taking care of a very exhausted, sleep-deprived, ornery-from-getting-woken-up-for-a-crap-call ambulance driver. Yours, -Kevin

Extremely rude, and they are liars. They're the only Starbucks I've ever been to that has trouble with the mobile order. They give you a hard time EVERY time you have a mobile order pickup and they try to discourage you from ordering by pretending that they "don't get the order for 5-10 minutes" after you submit which is just total BS. No other Starbucks has that happen. What is the point of the app having mobile order pickup for drive thru as an option if they don't want to honor that? You will literally wait for 3-7 minutes in line here and get to the order kiosk and they'll tell you that they "don't have your order yet" and make you leave and come back in 10 minutes. It's absolutely ridiculous. It's a shame because this location is the only one in this area by my daughter's school. This horrible customer service experience paired with the new points reward system that is also insanity I'll be going back to Dunkin for my coffee now. Tastes better anyways!

This Starbucks is awful!!! It is regularly dirty, sticky & gross. The restrooms aren't clean & neither are the seats or the condiment bar. The afternoon servers are rude, but morning & evening the lines are long. Just this afternoon I stood at the counter while a Barrista took precious time completing the order ahead of me before taking my order without kindness or greeting. Then, before in anyway indicating that he had completed my order, he looks over me to the people behind me to take their order. When I raise my eyebrows at him he responds, dismissively, "you're finished." Yes I am. I have withheld saying anything negative because (1) it's a convenient location & I hate having to admit how terrible it is and then have to find some place else and (2) one time out of the 10s I've been in the last 6 months, there was a good barrista. But it's always been nasty as to upkeep & slow service. Once more encountering extremely rude service was the final straw! This location is ripe for a good, locally-owned cafe to take over this mess!

First, Starbucks is always great. But this location is awesome. Called in for a NY Times newspaper and there was one left and so the young guy put it behind the counter for me to come pick up. Super cool. Great location, great baristas, great coffee.

I am a huge fan of Starbucks and this location is one of my favorites. The baristas are some of the friendliest there are out of any oft he Starbucks I visit. My drinks always come out just the way I like them. I do wish that the seating was a little more cozy at this location.

Yesterday I stopped by (around 8 am)to order a chai latte and even though as any other Starbucks it was busy/long line the girl in the drive thru was pleasant and even though they were busy she went out of her way and waited for me to pour my coffee in my personal cup. Great experience to start off a busy day!

Still the worst Starbucks in the area. I hate getting a drink that's all ice --even when I specify "almost no ice", it's literally half my drink or filled halfway! Happy to pay extra --and I do at nearly $6 per grande--but the worst is driving away realizing they completely ignored me or didn't give me something in my order. Just so done with these guys--Starbucks HQS needs to step in. Switching to Dunkin'.

My order was wrong. The cashier did not get my name so I had to stand there and I hope that no one had the same order that I had. While I was standing there waiting, an employee with a piercing through his cheek came up and walked right in front of me almost bumping me and stood there waiting for his food. Complete disregard for the fact that someone was already in line. My drink was a Venti though they made a grande and I pointed that out, I was told it was rung up incorrectly. It was remade without issue though. The cashier thought that I had two separate orders because I asked for milk with my oatmeal, she thought that was a second drink. The warmed up chocolate croissant had chocolate smears all over the bag which then transferred to my hands and my clothing. The store is cold. My house stays at 68°. But I literally had goosebumps and was shivering inside the store. Though I would've liked to have stayed longer to complete some work, I had to leave because It was so cold. The side door actually squeaks horrifically in addition to being very heavy to open. The noise is also awful if you are trying to concentrate. The manager was sitting at the table by the register on her laptop in a coat. Finally, upon leaving the Asian guy who was heating the pastries was standing 10 feet from the front door smoking a cigarette and I had to walk right through his smoke to get to my car. Absolutely disgusting! Thanks for the asthma cough and need for meds that followed. Only good customer services was form the light brown haired barista who remade my drink. Descriptors only given for management to address concerns as I could not see the name tags of the select staff who actually was wearing one.

Needless to say my order was put in the mobile pick up spot unknown to me. After finally inquiring about my tea, I was told it's sitting in the mobile pick up spot. While it seems like something petty to post a review about this, I'd be more understanding if the place was busy. But it wasn't. Plus they didn't add the whip I asked for. I suppose it's too much to expect your in-store order to be announced amongst many other orders placed online.

This place was more efficient before they had a drive thru. They are slow as hell in matter is you go in to dinning or you wait on the 'round the block' drive thru line at almost any time of the day. And half of the staff is not pleasant or try to flirt with customers and make is super awkward.

As usual, this Starbucks is nice and clean. It's a very cozy and comfortable feel with fast service. The drinks are fantastic of course but I will say the baristas here are not very friendly and aren't very knowledgeable about the drink selection. However, still a nice place to grab a morning coffee or afternoon drink.
