Great location with easy access and quick in/ out. Warm and friendly greetings from the moment you arrive. Drinks were ready and waiting at the mobile pickup area. Decided to stay and enjoy the A/C as it's a warm day. Plenty of seating available, clean and comfortable. Remember to tip your Baristas!

Good morning, 13 million viewers! Thank you, thank you, thank you for reading and engaging with my reviews—I love that you all follow along with my coffee adventures. Now let’s talk Starbucks. Guys, I don’t know if it’s just me, but the Starbucks around the Boston area are slipping. Weak, watery coffee and a service experience that feels completely understaffed. Honestly, I feel like Caffè Nero and Tatte are starting to take over this city. Here’s the thing: I love Starbucks. When I travel through D.C., Maryland, Virginia, or even Florida, the quality is consistent and strong. But here in Boston? Sketchy at best. This visit was… mixed. The coffee itself tasted good (thankfully!), but the service was cringeworthy. Sarah—who was clearly overworked and underpaid—was left to handle all orders, both walk-ins and mobile. I waited 10 minutes just to order, then another 15 to get my drink. By the time I got it, my phone had almost died from being in the store so long. Sarah looked like she was ready to walk out from her job at any given moment! With that being said, when you’re paying close to $10 for a cup of coffee, you want it right. My drink was light—about 2/3 full. When I asked if she could top it off, she told me she’d add “milk” and never circled back. After another long wait, I gave up, drank it as it was, and left. To make things worse, the outside seating area was messy and uninviting. Coffee was fine, but for the price, portion, and service, it didn’t come close to expectations. Starbucks, Boston—you need to step it up. Customers deserve consistency, full cups, and basic service for the price we’re paying.

Mobile drink took more than 12 minutes, when asked: they said we kind of busy, if and order together it should be brought out at the same time, my food was done already but put somewhere, also staff here has never say welcome. It is because of location it near my work so i have to order here. But i’ll make my trip to east boston, they are more friendly and much faster.

Mario was so nice and is a great employee - my friend and I came in and she specified she had a dairy allergy, but they hadn’t used a different pitcher to make it. She clarified her allergy with them and Mario immediately made her a new one and made sure there was no cross contamination! He was so great and deserves props for handling it with grace!

Bad attention they made me a coffee that wasn't and I took it out of my hands and threw it in a bad way I don't recommend it

Horrible experience ! I decided to go to regular Starbucks location today in Chelsea. When i came into the entrance to head towards the drive through a car was illegally parked in front of the Starbucks blocking the entrance to go through the drive through. I went around him like anyone else would because he decided where he parked was the right spot to talk to someone he was dropping off while that person was heading towards the door. While he was talking he decided to start driving off while not checking his surroundings areas for any other cars. When i was going to take the slight turn in the driveway he did end up rear ending my car . I then got out my car and yelled at him freedom of speech because the least he could have done was simply pay attention instead of driving and not looking. He went on how he didn’t hit my car but he did mean while he now has a scratch on his car because of it. I was very upset which i have the right. I then proceeded on because my car had no damage. I went in the driveway through to order my drink and when i was told to come to the window I then see the employee who was outside who witnessed everything name is REMY. She is a SHIFT SUPERVISOR. She then came up to the window and told me she seen everything that happened outside. I’m thinking she’s understands what happened because MY car got hit where a car was ILLEGALLY PARKED AND BLOCKING THE DRIVE WAY ENTRANCE. She then brought up how she will not be serving me because i was arguing with the other driver and his girlfriend (who may or may not work there) I have freedom of speech to be upset. I was not on the side walk of Starbucks nor in the drive through yet. i was in the parking lot. I did not say anything disrespectful to the employee named REMY. I was also a customer who planned on getting a refresher before the incident happened that was not my fault. This is very bad customer service for someone who’s supposed to be a shift supervisor.I was rejected a beverage for a incident that wasn’t my fault. This location has bad customer service and lack of empathy for their customers. She needs to learn when or when not she should have taken action for rejecting a order for a more serious matter not me for getting my car hit. Please advice on this employee who is a supposed to be a supervisor. Horrible experience with REMY.

Went there for a quick bite, the all day breakfasts are pretty good, fresh and piping hot.

I love all of the staff. They’re all so friendly and bring great energy. They know my orders and Starbucks, give them a raise! Immediately.

I've had to request refunds for my last two orders because they were not drinkable. Worst coffee ever. Will not be ordering from this location ever again.

I always usually go in person to get my order only if Mario is working (I believe that is his name) because he's the only one that makes my drinks right every time? Today I decided to order from Uber eats and I don't know what happened. I ordered a coffee with vanilla syrup, white mocha, and sweet cream and when I usually get this in person, it doesn't look like a cup of milk and today it was a cup of milk. I also ordered a tomato mozzarella Panini That had absolutely no tomatoes, and no mozzarella, and it tasted sour to the point where I could only take one bite and threw it out cause I thought I was gonna be sick from the soreness. I also ordered a cake pop and that I haven't touched yet because so far everything from the Uber eats order was wrong. So I recommend going into the location because the staff is very friendly. It is very clean inside and the orders are never wrong in person so I do not recommend ordering through Uber eats.

Over the course of 15 years as a customer at Starbucks, one of my favorite aspects has been when they ask for your name to label your coffee drink. I understand this can be a tricky job, trying to write down customers' names correctly. It's obvious that in American culture, names can be complicated to spell accurately. Most of the time, I present c. card to help them spell it correctly. Today was an exceptional day. My barista, Kai got my name right on the first try. It made my day! Therefore, I am writing this note to share my appreciation for the Starbucks workers. They work hard to make Starbucks shine!

this is numerous ti es now that u have ordered through uber eats from this location and im missing items that i paid for that are not cheap by a long shot, and every single number they have listed to call even on "yelp"a totally separate website doing the same exact thing as there "customer service phone #'sthat they claim are available 24/7 7days a week!! so yelp is no different of a website if theyre claiming to be available 24/7 and after about 4 rings it hangs up on u, no leave a voicemail and we will get back to you asap(as soon as possible) n o p e they r e f u s e 2 use answer any type of phone call i dont know what to do im not going to jeep spending $$$ i dont have on food that doesnt come and i dont get reimbursed for!!

This Starbucks is conveniently located for those living in East Boston and Chelsea plus it's along the way if you're heading into Everett from Eastie. I've been here in person a few times and gotten delivery via Uber Eats more than I can count. The service overall has been good. A few times they've forgotten an item like a pastry when I've opted for delivery. Once in awhile this Starbucks is not available on Uber Eats for some unknown reason. I've been told sometimes restaurants will turn off Uber Eats if they're getting slammed with orders. This Starbucks is slightly bigger and has more seating than other Boston area Starbucks. I came here during a busy Saturday morning and didn't have trouble finding a seat. There's plenty of parking which is a big plus if this the first stop of many during Saturday morning errands.

It does not matter the day of the week or the time of day... the service is extremely slow and the employees spend more time talking and doing other things rather than making drinks. I don't know why I think it's going to be different each time I decide to give it another chance. I wait 15-25 minutes EVERY TiME.. even on a mobile order. I would recommend reevaluating the staff and or the way the entire system is run within this location.

This Starbucks was great. The staff were all friendly and actually quick at making my order. Very clean starbucks and had a lot of staff behind the counter. Plus my drink was perfect!!!

The service was extreme slow. The staff were not respectful to customers. I asked for my bakery item to be reheated because they waited a long time to give it to me; Harmony snatched it out my hand and then rolled it on the counter. She had a bad attitude and when I asked for the manager he was not helpful he just gave a refund without addressing the issue. This was extremely frustrating because I waited 25 minutes for my order.

This place was Great when Malissa was the manager, no it outright sucks!!! Whole lot of FREAKS working there. Their service is horrible, their drinks are horrible! The barista's are more worried about things that DO NOT pertain to job and are always complaining! I suppose that's why they make $12.00 per hour!

Coffee is fine, and service is good -- but wow, why do they let all the "drive up" people park in the fire lane. So ignorant and rude. There's a big no parking sign, but these jerks don't care. I wish the Chelsea PD would ticket every morning. It could generate a lot of revenue of the city..

Fast service but bad. The macchiato foam was spilling out of the cup and the barista with glasses and a ponytail still found an excuse that denied my request of having another macchiato l. Too bad she cared more about her bad macchiato than a customer who was trying to enjoy the wake-up coffee. You ruined it. Thanks

I came here a couple of weeks ago with a friend. We each got an iced Green Tea Latte and love our Barista!! he made it perfect! He even recommended to let the cashier know next time to ask for it shaken so that the Matcha can mix better since I asked for extra matcha. The place is brand new so everything is new and sparkly! I love the decor there, and the ambiance. It definitely sets the mood with all the browns. The seats are nice and it's very spacious. The bathroom is VERY clean here so that's a plus. if it wasn't so out of the way for me, i'd definitely come here regularly!

The staff here is SO wonderful. Every single person I've ordered from/talked to is so nice and helpful and I always feel better after going here in the morning. Thank you!! Food tip I learned from them: impossible breakfast sandwich with avo spread :)

Long lines, very poor customer service and the place is so dirty! The atmosphere is so different of any Starbucks I've been to... the barista is so slow and lost and extremely unkept Probably the only Starbucks where I don't see q sense of pride or any kind of passion for what they do ... first and last time

Normally get good service but the last couple of times the service is very slow and ordering on the app doesn't seem to help. The barista was moving so slow I finally just gave up and asked for a refund. Poorly staffed,they def need more help. No complaints about the quality of my food and drinks. They normally don't disappoint in that department. .

This is certainly my worst experience ever at any starbucks. First time ever I was racially profiled and commented upon how i speak (accent). It was so disrespectful. This place is so bad. Anybody who is not white should not go to this place (outlet). Starbucks, pls hire right people.

I am a mobile order fiend so whenever I am headed to work on the weekends, I always order ahead at this Starbucks for my daily fix. I'm *that* person who adds a bunch of different syrups and stuff to my drink and this location gets my drink right literally EVERY single time. Their baristas are awesome!

Manager is a sweet heart! Super friendly and always greeting when enter and leaving. Always a big smile to start your day. Knows name to face to orders. Employee are great they know what our regular order is and how we like it. This location is supposely one of the busiest online order's as it serve City of Chelsea and City of Everett. Good location with plenty of parking. Has plenty of seating and bathroom. Online order available for quick pick up.

The best Starbucks in or around Boston! Excellent baristas who know their craft, and are great customer service providers!

They should have a "newbie" line.. Several times I've come here and the product is usually fantastic, however I've often been in line ordering and the cashier doesn't take my name, which in my opinion is pretty counterintuitive considering that it is a standard practice at Starbucks, and it only present as an issue for me because three or four different occasions it has left confusion as we wait for our beverages. I usually never give a review based on one visit. I make every attempt to be unbiased and fair. This is my local Starbucks and I will continue to patronize however i implore you, please just take our name, we expect to give it to you anyway. I will adjust my review score accordingly when this oversight is corrected. And I will still buy my coffee and tip my baristas!

40min waits at this location. Do not offer ahead they do not have a system to keep orders in a row. Saw folks come in and leave in minutes. After asking only 3 times the staff continued to care less. Finally the manager decided to ask her staff to make mine and pointed to my cup. Zero stars if I could give them. Love Starbucks coffee but very displeased with service here.

While it's definitely a beautiful Starbucks, the service is just okay. I ordered a venti strawberry Açai refresher and a bacon, egg, and Gouda breakfast sandwich. I asked the cashier if they had any of the bacon, egg, and goudas left and she said yes. Paid and sat down. She didn't have any left, so I asked for a refund. Then when I went back up to the counter she didn't know how to do a refund. Then she asked her coworker who also didn't know how to do a refund. So the coworker had to cancel the last order and then just charge me for the drink again. The baristas here seemed slower than average. My drink tasted fine but I felt like I waited much longer than the normal amount (3-5 minutes). Maybe it was an off day for everybody? The staff were still courteous and did their best to correct the mistake so I'm willing to give the store another chance.

I've been working in the neighborhood all month consequently I've been stopping by frequently. The store is busy most of the time. I'm guessing the staff is under pressure as I am not getting a friendly or welcoming "vibe" from the place. Maybe that's a New England/East Coast cultural thing and the "locals" are either fine with it or maybe treated differently. When I look around the staff's eyes are downcast, few if any smiles to be enjoyed and little to no friendly eye contact. If I owned the place I would ask myself if my front line staff is taken care of, are my expectations reasonable and whether they have the resources they need (including time off & flexibility)? I spend a lot of time & $ at Starbucks around the country every month; this place is noticeably "different" (not in a positive way). For the record I don't know ANY of these people, issues or the owner(s). I'm just a random customer working in the area for the month. For the rest of you folks who come in here; WHY DO YOU STAND IN LINE TO ORDER? May I suggest using the Starbucks App where you are able to order anything off the menu, and pay for the transaction before you show up. When you arrive here you walk up to the counter and pick up your mobile order and go on your way. You don't stand in the long line, your order is done, and paid for prior to your arrival. I walk in the door bypass the line, anywhere from 2 to 10+ people, go to the counter grab my order and an available table. I'm "done" and enjoying my purchase before the person at the head of the line completed their order. Last input; many other stores make picking up the mobile order simple. At those stores the Mobile Orders are lined up with receipts in the order they came in at an easily accessible place. Not here, perhaps due to theft, at this store the Mobile Order is sequestered behind the counter where I have to interrupt the busy, and not particularly friendly barista to hand me the order. This interrupts their work, delays the drink & customer they are serving.

If i could give a 0 start review i would. place sucks and always gets orders wrong. its not the first time they give us incorrect drinks and we've called them multiple times about it. last time the shift leader/manager apologized and offered to give us the drinks free or remake it which we appreciated since we work for a big office building and our employees are always ordering from there. today however one of our drinks was wrong and chris the 'supervisor' said that even though they did mess up theres nothing he can do. to call uber and have them deal with it. i asked if there was a way to get it fixed and he said nope call uber. okay great management. only reason we order from here is because its near by but we much rather order from east boston now and wait longer and have BEN and his crew take care of us. will never order from here again

When I am feeling down at any point, my first thought is to pop in to a Starbucks. To some this may seem a tad bit odd, but the emotional connections that I have formed with the coffee people allow me to relax and enjoy myself. I always add as many shots of Espresso as I am allowed to because I love the buzz. The coffee is good and so is the outstanding customer service.

Seems unusually dirty, the trash cans are usually overflowing and there are loads of straw wrappers blowing around the floor because the trash is overflowing.

My husband came here today at 5pm on his birthday and realized he didn't registered his birthday on his Starbucks card, and said he can show his ID, but the employees and manager still wouldn't honor it and tell him to go register. If a customer has a reward Starbucks card which showed he's a regular and loyal customer, and also can show his driver license to confirm his birthdate, I don't see how the employees and manager couldn't honor this. I say bad customer service and don't know how to assess the situation! How many times do they tossed out drinks when they made them wrong? I find it's hard to understand to not honor a drink for my husband birthday today. I feel the employees and manager need to be re-train and learn to assess on different scenarios.

Your app order does not go to the front of the line as advertised! Coffee is often lukewarm. Staff not very friendly. Service ok if it's not busy. If it's busy plan on being late for work. Had to walk away this morning after ordering my coffee on the app 10 minutes earlier.

Zero stars. The staff are rude and unfriendly. They consistently take 30+ minutes to get to your order completed, especially mobile orders. Don't even bother. I order 15 minutes or more before I get to the store and my cold brew takes an additional 20 minutes or more once I am there... standing there and waiting. You would think standing there and staring into their souls would motivate them to pick up the pace... nope. Asking where the order is? Nope. They take even longer if you ask about your order. Go to 26 Broadway in Lynnfield right on Route 1 they are the best.

Mellow Starbucks no line at 630am. Lol never seen anything like that. This is the closest starbucks to the wyndham hotel in chelsea. Two girls tuning the shop did a good job friendly and busy cleaning and preping. Coffee was good as expected and so was the food. This part of town is kind of rundown. Lots of construction and shaby buildings. Also mass drivers are the worst, what's a blinker? Starbucks is located in a shoping plaza. Overall good starbucks

This is BY FAR the best Starbucks I have been to. All of the baristas are super friendly and efficient, especially Stephanie--she's my favorite barista! Definitely recommend!

I come to this Starbucks almost daily, the staff is great and supper quick service!

I usually order my breakfast or drink here in the morning by mobile. The staff are ok. Most of the time i got my order after 5-7 minutes after i placed an order on apps. However i recently figured out whenever I use my reward to place an order. It take about 20mins for them to complete my order. Idk it's the system problem or the staff want to put rewarded orders to the last

The clerk Christina was really rude and unprofessional. It started off by her making a remark about Hawaiian people and our culture. I'm Hawaiian btw. I told her she was appropriating my culture and told her repeatedly to stop. I thought she did and then she continued to do it because I would hear her make comments hear and there. I will ever go there ever again. SHE DIDNIT AGAIN

Best Starbucks in the district! The manager Malissa runs a tight ship! Her partners are knowledgeable, friendly and fast. The decor of this store is by far my favorite. So clean and funky. Great job guys!

I asked the cashier if I can blow him, but he looked at me as if I needed jesus in my life. But other than that, this Starbucks is pretty great. P.S I like it Grande, if you know what I mean ;)

if you only come here in the morning you may not have been lucky enough to meet the shift manager chris who works the closing shift just about every night. he is a sweet and friendly even to the customers who come in at 9:59. even though i live closer to another starbucks, i go out of my way to come here because he knows my order by heart and makes my mocha coconut milk macchiato perfectly each time. chris is the best yay starbucks

Starbucks is here! Starbucks found it's home in a sea of Dunkin Donuts. This place is clean and has all the expected Starbucks features. When I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, there weren't lines but customers trickled in (families, Market Basket employees, students, annoying guy that took off his shoes and whispered everything he typed). There appear to be three seating zones. Tall bar chairs and tables; an extra large table and chairs; and several small tables and chairs. It's nice to have the different areas as it helped diffuse the sound a little.

Impressed with this Starbucks. I can be picky sometimes because I worked at Starbucks for five years. Seems very clean and the staff is super efficient. What more could you ask for?

Never had a problem here always good service and fast. The place is very big, doesn't look it from outside but very spacious. I have never had a problem of them messing up any order. They are always on point.

They work in slow motion and have messed my order up more than once! At other Starbucks they give you a complimentary gift card on the screw up but not here in Chelsea with me anyways!

Been here a few times for a chai latte or two-- they make them great! Staff is quick and attentive, very nice. Place is always clean. Good atmosphere, good coffee, good service.

I love Starbucks as a whole, but the staff here is exceptionally kind. I would really love for Starbucks to start using unsweetened soy milk. That would be the icing on my latte ;)

Probably the best run Starbucks I have ever been too. The staff is top notch and that's no hyperbole! I go there every day for mid-morning coffee and sometimes after work. They always get my drink right, remember me and are always friendly and quick. On a couple of occasions I should note that I encountered one of the supervisors/manger chide employees in front of customers. I find this sort of managing intolerable having been in the industry myself. She is short with glasses, light hair and larger. She is very nice to me and others and seems to to run a tight ship but she should always reprimand employees after the shift.

I've been going to this location since it first opened a few years ago, as far as first impressions went it was lovely. A very friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. If I had written a review based on passed experiences I would not be giving it only two stars, However my most recent visits have been so incredibly unpleasant that I felt it absolutely necessary to write a review and bring this to someone's attention. First and foremost I have a certain standard for Starbucks as most consumers do, That is an excellent customer service experience, That has gone out the window at this location. Truthfully I'm rating one person in particular and although unfair, the unfortunate truth is that when you put on a uniform with a brand name and logo, you are representing that business as a whole. I believe the employee's name is Delena, just an extremely rude individual. I went in with my younger sister who was visiting from the midwest, she ordered one of the newer beverages and didn't realize it was made with cinnamon and when we kindly asked if we could order something else her response was "why would she order that if she knew she didn't like cinnamon." another time I was meeting up with a colleague and I offered to pay for our drinks but she beat me to it by handing over her phone to this employee in which she very aggressively grabbed her phone and scanned it. she never greeted us or thanked us for our business, on another occasion another employee who was very nice was taking our order and Delena came over to see "what was taking so long" and said "you better hurry up, there's dishes over there". I can't tell if this is a personal problem with me or this is just her way of operating, whatever the case may be it's very unprofessional.
