We've been to this location several times and the service has always been pretty consistent. They seem to prioritize staffing this location. They have a nice outdoor dining area and it is directly adjacent to Nationwide Arena. Be aware that there is no parking immediately adjacent to this location- you will need to park in a garage and then walk.

We were visiting due to an event at the convention center. I think the location is chronically understaffed. Only one person making drinks. We waited in line for 40 minutes and 30 minutes for the drinks. About 70 minutes in total. I’d only come to this location if you have nothing going on.

I recently moved to the Arena District and last week I realized that I live in walking distance to this location. Which is perfect bc I'm a loyal Starbucks' costumer and I go to Starbucks everyday except for Sunday. I've been to this location a total of 4 times and I've noticed that I am never acknowledged nor greeted when I come inside. Yet I've noticed other costumers greeted and acknowledged. I decided that I will no longer patronize this location. I will spend my money where I am appreciated as a costumer.

I was trying to go in to let my 5 year old daughter use the restroom before I got cake pops for the show we was about to watch. The employees watched me walk her all the way to the restroom and when I came back to ask where the restroom was they told me I had to buy something. Smh! My daughter is 5!! I get they don't want people just coming to use the bathroom but seriously a 5 year old tho?!? Then to watch me walk all the way back there and not say anything was like a joke to them!! Do better!!

Everything I attempted to order, they were out of. First time at this location and I left empty-handed. With all the surrounding business I would think they'd have things available. It wasn't even 1pm yet.

Google
I would cross county lines to visit this Starbucks before any other. The stellar service by a friendly and attentive staff is a clear reflection of its superlative management. The charming outdoor seating, artfully expanded umbrellas, and only mildly uncomfortable iron seating are merely secondary to the perfectly toasted ham and Swiss. P.s. please give us back our access to cream. We will be model citizens, I promise.

Yelp
I walk by this Starbucks all the time and tend to forget that it's here. However, while I was out on a Sunday morning walk I attempted to go to the North Market only to realize I got there before they opened at 10am. Thankfully, this Starbucks is right around the corner and is the next best thing. I arrived to a clean and organized coffee shop, super friendly staff, and my drink was made quickly and tasted great. Exactly what I expect and want from a Starbucks. While there isn't easy parking around and I wouldn't say this is a go-to Starbucks for me, it did the trick.

Yelp
While in town and walking around my husband and I stopped in after breakfast to grab another drink. I had my go to iced green tea lemonade (unsweetened) while he had a simple black dark roast coffee. Both drinks were prepared in a timely fashion and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Although I will probably never be back to this location, I recommend it.

Yelp
Do not recommend this starbucks. The service was one of the worst I have experienced at a SB.

Yelp
This Starbucks just opened! It's one of the largest ones I've ever seen, the interior is so clean and it's fully furnished. The workers are very nice and quick as they had worked at other Starbucks beforehand. Since it's still new and German Village doesn't allow a lot of advertisement, it's not really crowded at all. It's kind of in a weird place but there is sufficient parking in the back and there's a drive through.

Yelp
Zero stars if I could. Really disappointed in the workers here (except one young gentleman who was very kind). We are visiting and came in for an Ohio mug. We were told they didn't have any which was fine and were still planning to order coffee at this point. A polite young gentleman proceeded to explain why the Ohio mugs were no longer carried and was in conversation with my husband when another employee yelled at him to get back to the bar area- mid conversation with my husband mind you. There was ONE other person in the store who was settled in with his coffee and food in the corner. Another employee walked passed my husband and said "were you cornered?" implying the kind gentlemen was cornering him into conversation. We don't agree with treating your coworkers that way and speaking behind their backs to a customer. He was just kindly filling us in about the mugs and there were no other customers in the location. We decided not to order from them. Treat the people around you with respect.

Yelp
These Starbucks employees have put in so much hard work that you have during these hectic times. Everyone in your this always goes above and beyond to ensure that I have a FABULOUS experience every time I walk through their doors. I've been consistently visiting this location DAILY for the past year and a half--minus COVID closure times, and I have never left feeling any less than completely satisfied. I have all of the employees to thank for that. As a former barista, I know how straining busy times--and some customers--can be. They all are always so poised and ready to take on ANY challenge that may come their way. Everyone at this location is always around when I'm looking for a new drink suggestion, need a little pick me up for my day, or even just want to have a brief conversation. They are so understanding/caring, and I genuinely appreciate that. The baristas have to deal with me when I'm at my worst--tired and craving caffeine. Nobody is fun to deal with when they're half asleep, but everyone here handles it very well. If you work here, thank you for EVERYTHING. You all never fail to improve my day 100%. :)

Yelp
This is my neighborhood Starbucks and i'm a fan. The service and efficiency at this location is consistently good. Their hours are a little wonky as compared to the typical Starbucks. Since they cater to people working in the Arena District, they close relatively early everyday. This means that they a lot of traffic during the day, but most people grab and go, leaving many tables and seats available.

Samantha S.

Yelp
Cashier gave me attitude when I asked for my coffee. I've been ordering the same thing for five years and shes the first person to give me issues. There are plenty of other Starbucks to go to in columbus. I'd avoid this one

Neal E.

Yelp
We stopped in here to hang out and work for several hours before a customer meeting. Decent amount of work space in here. Ordered a dark roast coffee with room for cream. Dark, delicious, and quality caffeine! Service was good!

Yelp
This is only place in the Arena District to stop when the monkey named Caffeine is screaming its holy-hell-glory headache fit. There really should be more, but as it is this Nationwide Arena adjoined 'buck is good. I usually hit it up for a chilled Frappy while transversing Arena Crossing, or to use their restroom when the line to see President O streched down Hickery to Spring and my bladder is drowning in itself. ( I ran into sunglassed SS men lost in the backrooms hunting for the men's room.) The staff is welcoming, smile obsessed, and helpful. The products are done right. Seems to be plenty of pastries everytine I stop by. The space is in-accordance with the '00 style S-Bucks. FYI for the unfamiliar with the area: there is no drice-thru here. It is a typical Starbucks and the only coffeehouse in the area.

Yelp
Amazing food and drinks. I enjoy how when I wanted a vanilla milk and they did not have any, they got a cup of normal milk and put two shots of vanilla in it. Amazing service.

Yelp
Gotta love Starbucks. Even when I'm not looking for a caffeine boost, most of them in the Dublin area and the Arena district have great staff. Now with the passbook tie-in with the Starbucks app on my iPhone I don't have to take out my wallet or unlock my phone to make a payment. Fast and easy place to enjoy high-quality baked goods and coffee drinks.

Brian W.

Yelp
Right next to the east entrance to Nationwide Arena on the plaza area. Pretty much your typical Starbucks, larger variety. The staff was friendly and efficient. Nice view to the plaza for some people watching, but can get crowded if there's an event at the arena.

Yelp
This is the only coffee shop in the Arena District and I end up heading here for whenever the line at Cup O Joe on the Cap is way too long or smells like burnt vegetable oil. Sometimes it's too late to head to Cafe Brioso (not enough people going there in the afternoon) and I don't want to get there when they're about to close up. In this heat I just don't feel like biking too far for an alternative, even if I'm going at a leisurely pace the nearly 100 degree heat makes even a mere stroll a sweaty endeavor. I don't even need to review the coffee, since you've most likely already tried it. If you have and also had coffee from one of our many great local joints you know there's no comparison and I'm not just saying that because it's a chain. To quote Ralph Wiggum, "It tastes like burning.". The prices for iced coffee is comparable to other establishments and yes, they come in "tall", "grande", and "venti". The atmosphere is rather sterile and not surprisingly looks like some corporate executive's idea of what "comfy" is supposed to be. However, the employees are very nice and prone to striking up a little friendly chit chat and while the white-collar clientele is rather prominent compared to other coffee-shops (and not my crowd) someone was nice enough to quickly offer to plug in my adapter rather than sit right in front of the outlet waiting for me to ask the obvious. While it's not my first choice it's nice to know I have a backup nearby just in case.

Yelp
Service was good and the coffee was really good! One of the best skinny vanilla lattes I have had!

Mark P.

Yelp
I love the tea they serve here, its really good stuff. I had a long talk with the barista about battlestar galactica, since there is a character of the same name in that. She seemed mad I even brought it up, maybe there should be a battlestar galactica day.

April P.

Yelp
Columbus Ohio. You rock. And so do you Starbucks. This staff is super friendly. Visit them and buy coffee from them : )

Jacqueline G.

Yelp
Amazing service time and time again. My order is always correct no matter how fast they complete it. This has become a daily stop on my morning commute. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and super pleasant. Today they even corrected another Starbucks location's mistake for free. I greatly appreciate the consistency in excellent service. Ashley is one of the batistas that makes my drink in the morning and has even gone the extra mile to notice that I was a new regular and inquired if I was new to the area. She is delightful.

Kay L.

Yelp
On my way into work I stop at the arena district Starbucks everyday. I cant even begin to tell you how sweet and considerate the employees are. They know everyone by name, are super quick (it gets so busy all the time I don't know how they do it) and are always so accommodating. Definitely my go to Starbucks.

Megan S.

Yelp
I'm usually in here about three times a week. The folks that work behind the counter here are the nicest baristas in the city. Between all the Nationwide employees the dozens of agency folks, they have their hands full with a packed house most mornings. Yet somehow, they always remember the "regulars" drink orders, and when they don't, they're genuinely disappointed. I'll go in their some mornings like a big grouch, yet they always manage to turn my mood around in a matter of minutes. I could always do without Starbucks prices, but the company they keep is well worth it.

Angie K.

Yelp
So it's hard to give a rating because I think Starbucks coffee is awful however the iced green tea is pretty good and expensive as I'm sure everyone knows. the line was superlong and the staff hammered through it very quickly. Sat outside for an interview and it ended up being a great place to meet. I only recommend meeting here if you work in the area

Sulli S.

Yelp
The coffee is great and the working staff was a delight. The barista was singing "Hit me with your best SHOT" LOL I thew an extra buck tip in for that. Its nice to see happy people!

Yelp
Would have been a four star Starbucks for me (I am a former Starbucks management member from Boston, so my store standards are pretty high in order to grab five stars...) BUT, Walked to the store today (a Sunday) like I do most Sundays to grab a morning coffee and chill out for a little bit, and learned that the store recently pulled its Sunday hours. Not sure what the reasoning was. The store obviously wasn't slammed on Sundays like it is on weekdays when Nationwide offices are open, but it still did a decent business. It's the closest Starbucks to the Convention Center and various Convention Center hotels, and I ALWAYS saw guests to the city in the store when I was there on Sundays. Pretty disappointing. Hope they'll consider re-opening on Sundays soon. I either have to head to one of the indie shops in the Short North (which is a fine alternative) or I have to drive to get to the nearest Starbucks. Definitely knocks the store down a few pegs for those of us who live nearby.

Yelp
very slow employees.. this is not the place to go if you are in a hurry. upon my visit they had 3 people in front 2 of which were talking and one working with the customers. for the price of the products they sell they should be a little faster and taking care of their customers
