Place is really pretty dirty inside. In front and behind the counter. Including the glass partition. It needs a thorough professional cleaning to keep it up to corporate standards. Makes a really nice lobby look run down. Person at the counter was nice. If this is a franchise location it needs an inspection. All Starbucks are neat and clean and look really modern. A place you would like to sit down in.

I placed a Door Dash order for a caffe mocha and cheese Danish. When my order arrived the bag contained a caramel frappuccino instead of a cafe mocha. I double checked my receipt to make sure I didn't accidentally order the wrong drink myself and it was right. Since my name was written on the outside of the sealed bag it was clear that it was Starbucks's mistake. I've never had an issue with any orders in the past so I wasn't sure what steps to take so I called the Starbucks store I ordered from. Now it wasn't a really big deal to me as I understand accidents happen but what bothered me was the fact that when I explained to the person who answered the phone that my doordash order was wrong the young lady stated that the dasher grabbed the wrong bag and then put the manager on the phone who did apologize but stated the same thing... the dasher grabbed the wrong bag and that I needed to contact door dash. As I stated earlier my name was written on the outside of the sealed bag so the driver did indeed grab the correct bag. It was just that Starbucks's had put the wrong drink in the bag. I got the situation straighten out through Door Dash but I think that since it was Starbucks mistake they should have corrected it. And for them to blame the doordash driver when it was clearly their error is just wrong.

On April 16, 2025, I visited this Starbucks store and placed a tall pink drink on a mobile order without ice due to the freezing temperatures of the morning. Upon retrieving my drink and other beverages from the store, I discovered that my tall pink drink was only half full. I inquired with the barista if I could have a little more, but she said, “No, because I asked for no ice and that she was not going to put any more”. Consequently, I was left with a half-cup of the intended size. This situation was not only frustrating but also indicative of a lack of customer service and guest satisfaction at this particular location.

Duper slow, faster to go through the drive thru. No hello or greetings, stood 12 min before acknowledged then at 15min lots of people walked in and to hear employee complain about so many people at one time. The only reason I didn't leave is my daughter wanted a matcha. Do better covington.

This is the only Starbucks that can’t seem to get my order right. I’ve been coming here religiously since November, and every single time, they mess it up. I just went on vacation to New York and New Jersey, ordered the exact same recipe at four different Starbucks locations, and every single one got it right. Even other Georgia locations don’t have this issue. Somehow, this store doesn’t understand that when a customer adds a flavored syrup, it’s in addition to what’s already in the recipe—not a replacement. It’s not complicated, but apparently, it is for them. The inconsistency and below-standard quality at this location are beyond frustrating. If every other store can make it right, why can’t they?

Now I’m not usually one to moan and complain on restaurants or places of service, but when I ask my drink to be remade, cause I didn’t get what I ordered which was a white chocolate mocha frappe, I do expect the barista to not have an attitude about it. I didn’t expect it to be pushed up the line, nor did I make a scene in any way, I just wanted my drink to be made right, which after being made still had a spiced cinnamon taste to it. Mind you I’ve been getting the same thing for about 4 years now..

Ordered Starbucks Covington, GA. Moble order at 6:08 pm waited 18 minutes in drive thru our coffee was cold. They remade and we had to go in and get our order they forgot us. We left there at 6:58p. They need better supervision at night.

I went to Starbucks on Saturday 1/4/25...when i walked in, no one greeted me, i stood at the register 3 min before someone came to take my order. The staff just was not pleasant....lately when coming to this location its has been very slow and they seem behind. Not sure if its a staffing issue or an efficiency issue, but I was not happy with this visit at all

Never thought I'd be reviewing Starbucks. Definitely prefer local coffee shops, but after tons of Christmas gift cards, I had to put them to use. Also the Covington/Conyers area doesn't have much to choose from cafe-wise. There is Bread and Butter, but other than that there really aren't any local coffee shops. I think there was one in Conyers, but I am pretty sure it closed. ***LOCATION*** Right on 278, and just down the street from I-20! Really easy to access and plenty of parking in the shared lot. There is a strip center behind it, with all of the parking and then the Starbucks is in the lot right next to the road. ***STAFF*** They were very friendly and got my drink out quickly! ***EXPERIENCE*** The main reason I specifically wanted to leave a review. I have never seen a better interior at Starbucks (and I have been to Starbucks Opera in Paris lol). The inside is huge and ideal for working. There is even a glass quiet room you can go for meetings or calls! There were plenty of outlets everywhere. It was very clean and quiet and the decor was nice! The way the layout is, also provides privacy for everyone with the rooms being separated. ***BATHROOM*** Very clean! ***CONCLUSION*** If I'm in Covington, I would definitely come back here if I need to get work done. Usually will go to Bread and Butter, but if I really need a quiet space, the working room here is perfect!

Terrible... stood waiting to place an order for 10 mins with no one being willing to acknowledge me waiting at the counter... three working. Yes the drive thru was backed up.... But would have been ok if staff would have acknowledged I was waiting... but looking at other review, it seems this is not unusual

Everytime I've been to Starbucks it was quick, friendly and fast. I haven't been inside yet, but I would imagine it's nice! I've never been disappointed in my drink orders or food.

Worst Starbucks ever. The store says open, so I place a mobile order 15min in advance of arriving to the store, and there is a sign on the door saying " inside closed get in line for mobile order " What is the point of even mobile ordering??? Long story short the line was almost in the road, just save your time and money and drive 10 more minutes to the Starbucks on Salem Rd. No matter how busy the salem location is they will always be open on the inside and they will have your order ready by the time you walk inside, like a mobile order should be....

No hustle and VERY slow. I've been in this Starbucks many times and wait at least 15 min, if not longer, every time. Doesn't matter if they are busy or not, it is still slow. The people are nice, just slow and move like molasses. They have 5 ppl on staff and can't handle the business that much busier Starbucks handle with less people. Just zero sense of urgency. So if you are in a hurry, don't come here.

Hands down; the most incompetent location that exists far and wide. I was so excited for my town to finally get a Starbucks but I have NEVER, NOT ONE SINGLE TIME, gotten a correct order from here. I will drive to Salem Rd every time!! Maybe train the baristas better ? I honestly don't know what this locations problem is. It runs literally from one end to the other: from placing your order to taking your first sip. The cashier doesn't listen, the batistas can't follow directions, and they do not like to fix their mess ups. Pathetic. The drive thru is always 6 miles long. Expect to spend a minimum of 30 minutes here every single time.

Disappointed to say that this location in Covington GA was worst Starbucks experience ever. It took 27 mins to get 2 coffee's. Cleanliness was disgusting. All trash bins were full. Tables had not been cleaned both inside & outside of the location. It wasn't crazy busy as it has been in previous visits, so we were baffled. Staff dismissive when voicing cleanliness concern. Seating accommodation taken away due to Starbucks staff meeting. Mgr conducting mtg just walked away w/out any action. It had just rained so most of the outdoor seating wasn't available bc it was wet. Sadly, even the local priest who stopped in had no prayers to give & just left. This location frequently has inside service unavailable w/only drive thru opened. (Presuming due to staffing issues.) Also, this location closes earlier all the time than the posted hours,making it hard to depend on going in there late in the evening. On a positive note, there are sev workers there who are personable, & have a good attitude, but none were there during this visit. The coffee was hot & flavorful, however, it shd be noted they were out of Cinn Dolce powder. Plain Cinn powder was used. Quality service at this location is not consistent. Confirming that the trash was emptied 90 mins later as we were leaving. Overall a disappointing afternoon at this location. Why?

I get coffee here almost daily, so I've learned to be patient and order ahead. And I understand restaurants run out of items. This morning I ordered my usual cold brew and was informed there was no ice. Not really a big deal, I just added my own. This location needs some help! It seems like everyone is exasperated most of the time. And they're interactions with guest come across as rude.

Personally I'm happy to get my Starbucks fix without having to drive to the one near Conyers. For all of the negative reviews, all of the stores in the Atlanta area have similar problems because there are so many people living here. Many of the negative reviews appear subjective to me --especially the ones with the shameless plugs trying to get you to go to another ( ***cough **cough Bread and Butter) coffee shop where the service is the same as this Starbucks --yah I've had coffee there btw. Anyway, the inside of the store is open and yes some crew members are new. My experiences have been great. My order was correct and my sandwich was hot when I got it. I placed it inside the store and it didn't take 30 min. The staff is friendly and happy and excited to be there.

Hands down one of the 2 slowest stores I have ever been in. The other is in Conyers, GA. Nice staff but it took 31 minutes to get my 9 drink order. They are in no hurry here and do not prioritize anything. Next time I will order from dunkin donuts and I can't stand them.

All the baristas are so kind at this location! We visited the first day that they opened about a month ago and the line moved quickly even though it was super long. I've been back almost every day () since then and it's always a great experience. They even write sweet little notes on the cups when I occasionally get my dogs puppaccinos! (Whipped cream in a small cup) Thank goodness Covington FINALLY has a Starbucks!

It's my closest Starbucks so I will continue to go, but be prepared for them to be out of cold brew constantly, drive through only half of the time, and even has been cash only for 5 days straight. Yes, you read that right CASH ONLY. Quite honestly the worst owned Starbucks I've ever been to.

Worst experience ever. My friends and I mobile ordered around 9:05 am and the estimated time for our order to be ready was 9:18 am. We went in around that time and our order was nowhere to be found.. around 9:30 we had asked where our order was not only did they say " i don't know" that were very rude and had horrible manners. Said people have been waiting 30-40 minutes for their order which is completely unacceptable for a fast food business. My friends & I had to be somewhere at 9:45 we ended up leaving without our breakfast and several other people also left without there's. Overall just a horrible experience. Do not order from here unless you want to wait over 30 minutes for your breakfast.

Ordered a birthday drink for mobile pickup, the in store pickup was not available and had to wait in the 30 minute plus line to get the drink that I ordered ahead for.... Make it make sense. They could at least have a convenient place where people can pick up mobile orders in a fast way.

I would give this Starbucks 0 stars. I put in a mobile order at 9:06am. The app said it would be ready by 9:18am. I walk in around that time. Someone called my name, but my order wasn't even made yet. I'm assuming they were just seeing which of those who ordered mobily were actually waiting at the counter. Which makes NO sense at all. You make the orders as they come, you leave it in the pickup area...and customers just grab it and GO!! I had somewhere to be at 9:40am. No one thinks they are gonna wait 30+ minutes for their coffee/breakfast. The baristas were BARELY moving a muscle. They couldn't be bothered. Just simply NOT doing their job. I asked about my order at around 9:33am, they said they "didn't know" about the status of my order, and continued by saying "everyone here has been waiting 30-40 minutes". It does NOT take 30-40 minutes at Starbucks. There where very few people waiting in there. I come from out of state and am used to a very fast-paced Starbucks with WAY better customer service. This Starbucks has LOTS to learn. I left without my order. Huge disappointment and money wasted. You need new people, or you need to straighten them out. Don't come here.
